About that one post

In the tags of TKATB post, I saw a post and before things go too far, I would like to address about it.

Before anything else, please note: The person being discussed is an artist in the (TKATB) fandom who goes by the username kazueisaloser. (Please make sure to read the Twitter post in question first—but also be aware that the post is entirely fake and misleading.)

In short, the person behind the post is accusing Kazue of racism and other serious STUFF. I want to clarify that, based on my personal interactions with Kazue, these claims are false. From what I’ve seen, Kazue has always come across as a kind, funny, and respectful person.

To be direct: the screenshots being circulated are fabricated/faked. This appears to be a group of minors attempting to “cancel” Kazue simply because she reminded them that they shouldn't be engaging with 18+ content or spaces.

This is well informed in X/twitter than here. So I'll link the people who spoke about it This post is just making people aware about the post before People go crazy.

Please, for the love of god—don’t jump to conclusions based on so-called “evidence” without knowing the full context.

This is social media. Things can be faked. Screenshots can be edited. Narratives can be twisted. What looks like proof isn’t always the truth.

But the truth does come to light—eventually. So before you choose sides or spread accusations, take a step back. Ask questions. Look deeper.

Because once someone’s reputation is ruined, you don’t get to undo that damage just because you didn’t wait for the full story.

Let’s be clear: minors should not be in 18+ communities. Those spaces are labeled that way for a reason—because the content, discussions, and themes are not appropriate or safe for underage individuals.

And now, instead of respecting those boundaries, some of these same minors are creating fake screenshots and trying to cancel an someone—all because she gave a reasonable and necessary warning about staying out of adult spaces.

That is not okay. Minors are still responsible for their actions. Falsely accusing someone and faking evidence is serious, harmful behavior—no matter your age. Being young is not a free pass to lie or ruin someone's reputation.

Hi, I hope you're having a decent day! I'm sorry if this is an invasive set of questions - feel free not to answer - but do you still actively like DSaF as your own creation, or is it more of a "it was fun while it lasted but i outgrew it and it's for the best to leave it behind" kind of project? Do you ever regret making the games? If you knew they would get so popular, is there anything you would have changed about them? Is there anywhere I could read more of your writing.

It fluctuates a bit. These last couple of years, I've really just been sorta nostalgic for it. I've seen a lot of people discuss those games being a source of comfort during bad times in their lives, people talking about how much the characters mean to them and it's hard not to smile when you see that.

It's a funny thing for close friends of yours to see people WITH fanmade DSaF merch out in the wild, or to watch a random youtube video and being hit with a DSaF reference outta nowhere. It happens from time to time, even today. On a few occasions, I've even had a person reference my work to me in real life and not realize who they were talking to, believe it or not. It's really fun to play dumb and get someone to explain your work to you like you don't know what it is.

I certainly didn't think any of that would happen when I first made the series, or even during development. I think the normal assumption would be to look at DSaF as it exists now and assume its release was a peak for it, but believe it or not, the official discord only had 30 people in it shortly before 3 dropped! The archive listing of the series (reposted to a single page after the series ended) is now sitting at over 1.1 MILLION downloads.

People kinda assume the true heyday of something is when it's new, when it's fresh and novel. For instance, some people look back at when FNaF itself was new and see that time as its peak because it had a lot of internet cultural relevance as big new indie thing on the block. But, raw numbers don't lie. The series has been continually growing since its conception and that growth has similarly bled over to its fan projects. This explains why DSaF, despite not having a new series release in almost 6 years, seems to be inexplicably growing.

Just recently, I saw someone post footage of a scene from DSaF 2 on Twitter, which got over 16k likes. People praised its writing and largely celebrated the scene. The ironic thing about that particular scene is that I remembered being unsure if it was good or not, so I showed it off in one of the FNaF community hubs. The response was broadly lukewarm to negative. Now, it's held up as one of the best scenes in those games. That's kind of the point I'm trying to make, my thoughts on the series have certainly changed with everyone's else with years of hindsight.

I'm not sure if I've talked about this in a long time, but y'know, the very first scene I implemented in-game was actually the very first Phone Guy scene in DSaF 1, more or less exactly how it appears in-game today. This was before I'd even written the bulk of the game. I was pretty unfamiliar with visual novels as a whole, pretty unsure if something like this would be palatable to a fandom that was really just used to sit 'n' survive stuff that were far more gameplay than text. I mean, there wasn't any FNaF fangames really LIKE DSaF before that point. Closest was FNaFb, a jokey turn based RPG made in the same engine.

The engine I made the game in is also not exactly fit for VNs out of the box either, and I wasn't 100% sure the idea would actually work. But, the very first time I added the image of the prize corner, Phone Guy, the audio of that iconic cheesy stock track and booted up a test screen, I had a little moment where I said "Oh. I think I'm onto something interesting here." I kinda remembering instantly realizing in that single moment how much potential the idea had. Over 8 years later, I still remember that moment like it was yesterday.

I think lately, that's the sort of stuff I think of when I see people coming to me and asking about the series. Yes, it's really rough around the edges, yes, there's jokes that've aged poorly. But, it is a source of comfort for people and entertains tens of thousands of people each month. And that's gotta count for something, right?

TETRO PINK TERMINAL INVESTIGATION

PREFACE:

This post will remained pinned on my tumblr for the foreseeable future. The goal of this post is to catalogue all links to every known terminal connected to the Tetro Danganronpa Official Tumblr page.

I first got this idea when I realized the DocDoc, while caught up with the staff side twitter threads, is not up to current date with all known terminals. Also, as someone who is electronically illiterate, and can't figure out discord to save her life, I thought it'd be worth it to compile a list for anyone either not on discord or who just want a place where they can find a complete list of hidden content. This is not a replacement for the DocDoc, and credit for the discoveries of all terminals on this list goes 100% to the hard work of the fans who compile those Docs. The entire fandom owes ya'll a ton!

I plan to keep this as updated as I possible, this is just the list of confirmed terminals I found through Tumblr and the DocDoc, any discoveries made in the future will be promptly added, but please comment if you see I've missed a terminal that should be here, this investigation is a fandom-wide effort. So much care has been put into this project and there's still so much we haven't found!

Also, if anybody involved in the creation of the DocDoc is uncomfortable with me compiling some of their research here, I will immediately take this down. They've done so much for the fandom and I appreciate each and every one of ya'll tech-savvy fiends too much to not respect ya'll's wishes!

Erm... Hi, I guess. Sending this off anon just because. Just... feeling like the fandom I was most invested in recently is dying at a fast pace over here on Tumblr and I don't know how truly deal with it.

It started great back early in the year, with many people making blogs and a tumblr community and everything to share fics and fanarts about the source, and it felt welcoming and like was fun and everything. And then since the start of May everything just... slowed down like someone hit the brakes. Many of the BNFs or fandom pioneers are using their blogs less and less and prioritizing their private twitter accounts, many creatives have left or dissapeared, and feom what a mutual told me most of the acrion happens either between private twitters or on discord.

And I've tried to contact them over on twitter with my own private acc, but not even after DMing them and telling them that's my twitter, they either ignore my request or straight up block me. Which makes me wonder many things too.

In the end, it feels like they're 2-3 accounts left here and they also are barely posting anything these days. It's only a matter of time before they also move to twitter and/or discord and then... there'll be no one left except me, I guess. And it makes me feel defeated and like I've wasted my time and creative drive. Also been trying to move from that interest to others, but it's not working.

Dunno if someone has had a similar experience. But yeah... i don't know how to deal with this honestly. And it's not like the source has finished/ended either. Ugh.

For the past four months, Satoru has experienced being a father to the best baby in the world. Satoru quite literally cannot fathom the thought of loving someone more than he loves the little baby that’s strapped to his chest. And there’s nothing he loves more than hearing his little baby laugh as Satoru cuts up some strawberries.

“Is that funny, Seiji?” Satoru asks as the baby laughs, looking at how his father takes a strawberry and magically makes two of them. There’s no better sound than his baby laughing at Satoru doing the bare minimum. Seiji’s simply Satoru’s favorite human, he always will be. The same laughter emits when Satoru cuts up yet another strawberry.

“Satoru, aren’t you going grocery shopping?” You question as you walk into the kitchen to find him cutting up strawberries just to entertain your baby. He hums in response.

“Are you coming with?” Satoru responds and you shake your head. He’s noticed that you avoid going out. The most you go out lately is to the balcony of the apartment to take a breath of fresh air. He doesn’t want to call you out on it but it worries him.

“Do you want to take Seiji with you?” You ask him, and Satoru nods. Satoru insists on taking Seiji out, and while you try to say that inside Seiji is safer, Satoru just wants to show off his baby to the world.

“He helps me pick up ladies.” He jokes, making you roll your eyes. You’ve been dating– Not officially but you’re affectionate with each other and act as if you were dating. It’s like the beginning of your pregnancy, just this time you aren’t all too worried about labels. You’re both more focused on Seiji than anything; Satoru does want to make it official though, he just wants to make it special. “I was thinking… Maybe next week we can call Kaya to babysit so we can go on a date.”

“Depends on where it is.” You answer, and Satoru can’t bite his tongue.

“Why are you scared to go out?” Satoru brings up, and you shake your head. You’re definitely not scared to go out, inside it’s just simply safer. You chuckle.

“I’m not scared to go out.” You claim, but he really doesn’t believe it. The evidence makes it clear. You barely step out of the apartment.

“You know that we’ll have to move out eventually? We have to look for a house for the five of us, and I can’t exactly pick it out by myself.” He points out, and you end up sighing. “I know you refused to go to therapy but you should really consider it.”

“I’m fine.” You reply, and as the words leave your mouth, Seiji begins to fuss. It’s always funny to see Satoru bouncing to try to calm the baby down, Satoru’s hand going to Seiji’s tiny foot and caressing it. It doesn’t work, and he takes Seiji out of the carrier. You take the baby from Satoru and you kiss the top of Seiji’s head, “You wanna stay with mommy, don’t you?”

“He’s a traitor.” Satoru rolls his eyes. But only God knows that he would give up his life for that tiny little traitor.

Maybe Satoru is right, that’s all you think about while trying to go to bed. With Seiji you barely get any sleep, and you want to take advantage of every minute that you get to sleep, however, you can’t fall asleep even though you’re so tired. You’re just thinking about your son, how you’re refusing to go outside and how if you refuse to step a foot outside again, you’ll miss so much from his life. That’s the only thought that consumes your mind and it doesn’t help you sleep.

“Satoru.” You try to get his big arm off you because you hear your baby crying. Satoru is also exhausted; not only is he working but every time Seiji cries, Satoru tries to go to his rescue. Of course, he doesn’t have an unlimited source of energy so he’s bound to get tired eventually. Satoru rolls over and you get out of bed to get Seiji before he wakes up the sleeping kids.

You turn on the light of the nursery and smile as you walk over to your baby. You pick him up and kiss his forehead before walking to the rocking chair to feed him. You never really thought that at twenty one years of age you’d be breastfeeding your son but here you are. Worst of all is that you’re not even officially dating his father– No, worst of all is that you’d do it all over again just to be able to hold your son in your arms.

Once he’s finished, you smile at him. You were thinking that the older he gets, the more he’ll look like you but it feels like he just looks more and more like Satoru. You boop his nose before your hand caresses the little hair that he has on his head. Maybe it isn’t ideal to be a mother at such a young age, but you’d do anything for Seiji.

“I love you, Seiji.” You tell him and he coos. You can’t wait to hear him talk, but you also hate the thought because it means he’s just growing faster and faster. You want him to stay small forever but you also want him to grow up to be his own person. 

And you can’t stay locked inside forever while it happens. 

You rock him until he’s finally asleep again. You kiss his forehead before standing up and putting him in the crib. You turn off the light and walk back to the bedroom to go to sleep. When you lay in the bed, Satoru’s arm goes over you again. He cuddles into you, and a smile comes to your face.

“Everything okay?” He asks, his voice barely comprehensible since he’s three quarters asleep.

“He was just hungry.” You answer. His nose buries in your nape, and you feel a smile creep onto your face. “You were right, I should go to therapy.”

“Really?” He wakes right up, his eyes shooting open. You hum in response. He brings you even closer to him before asking, “Why?”

“If I stay inside forever then I’ll miss so much of his life… And maybe with that help we can start a relationship and whatnot.”You respond and you feel his lips on your neck.

“Aren’t we technically in a relationship? We’re sleeping in the same bed and we–” He begins but before he can finish the sentence, you cut him off.

“I mean… We weren’t technically in a relationship when Seiji was conceived. And do I need to remind you that you were dating Leiko while we–”

“Leiko doesn’t count, not a real relationship.” He interrupts you because he doesn’t like to remember that part of his life. It hasn’t been a year since it happened but he wants to pretend like it never happened. He did all that to protect you… And he wonders how the secret spilled. How Suguru got to know about you and your pregnancy. He wonders if he should really look for the person who spilled the secret because he’s vengeful and he doubts he’ll let the person live after you were so close to death. “I’m glad that you want to get help to be a better mommy to our son.”

“I’ll do anything for him.” You say.

“I know you would. I would too.” He responds. He kisses your shoulder before he tells you, “I love you.”

“We should go on that date.” You tell him, a smile coming to his face. And while you said that you wouldn’t have more kids, that was right after giving birth. The more time passes by, the less you remember the pain of giving birth, “If all goes well, maybe in a couple years we can have another baby.”

“I like that idea. We have to have a daughter so we can give her your name.” Satoru says which causes you to laugh. You do want a daughter. Your smile fades when you feel something on your back.

“Satoru… Does the idea of getting me pregnant turn you on?” You ask him as you feel his erection on your back. He tries to deny it as he lets go of you and rolls to the other side out of embarrassment. You go to hug him, kissing his cheek, “I’m flattered, really. Especially with how I look now.”

“How do you look now?” Satoru sounds completely confused. He turns again so he can look at you. You end up shrugging, looking away slightly embarrassed. His hand goes to your chin and he tilts your head up before pecking your lips. “You truly have never looked more beautiful. It takes everything in me to not pick you up and drag you in here. You’ve never looked hotter.”

“You’re flattering me.” You chuckle, and he brings his lips to meet yours. You can’t help but smile at him. He really makes you happy even if he irks you at times. 

“You’re really the most beautiful woman that has ever walked on Earth.” Satoru tells you and you have a stupid smile on your face. You wish you could fight it off, but it’s impossible. “I would knock you up right now if you’d let me.”

“Hmm…” You laugh before kissing him again. “I was about to have sex with you, but you scared me off.”

“I said if you’d let me.” Satoru insists, but you shake your head. 

“I’m just really tired right now, maybe tomorrow.”

“Alright, which one will hold Seiji?” Satoru asks as he holds Seiji with one arm, and the other holds a camera. Megumi points at Tsumiki while she raises her hand. Megumi saw the last mess Seiji made in his diaper, and he isn’t going to risk that happening to him. Satoru smiles as he hands Seiji off to Tsumiki. He makes sure she holds the baby right.

You told Satoru you wanted a picture of Seiji with the kids, and of course he’s trying to do so while you have your first therapy session. You’re in the bedroom, talking in the phone with them while Satoru tries to arrange the kids in the living room. They’re all wearing a cute outfit, a matching blue color. Satoru arranged the furniture so he could have a blank background for the picture of the kids.

“Stand next to Tsumiki and Seiji, Megumi.” Satoru orders as he gets the camera ready. He has to make it fast because he doubts that Tsumiki will be able to hold Seiji for too long. “Okay, smile. Say cheese.”

Megumi smiles, showing all his teeth and it makes Satoru roll his eyes. He won’t argue about it though. He snaps his fingers to get Seiji’s attention, and when he does he makes a stupid face to get the baby to laugh. When the baby laughs, Satoru snaps the picture.

He looks at the picture momentarily, but he only looks at his baby boy without caring to check how Megumi and Tsumiki look. Satoru picks up Seiji from Tsumiki’s arms. Then when he holds the baby, he looks at the picture: Megumi’s awful smile, Tsumiki blinked right on cue, the only person that looks adorable is Seiji. That’s all he cares about, the Gojos can’t look bad in any picture.

“Can I look at the picture?” Megumi asks and Satoru shakes his head. Megumi pouts his lips, and when Seiji sees it he laughs. That fills Satoru's heart up with joy.

“Oh, you’re just so cute.” Satoru kisses the baby’s cheeks. Then he holds Seiji up to blow a raspberry on his tummy, “I can’t wait to show your mommy the picture.”

“He doesn’t look like you, that’s why he’s cute.” Megumi says, and Satoru doesn’t pay any attention.

“Tsumiki, will you argue with your brother?”

AITA for banning a minor from a discord server?

I'm pretty sure I'm nta, since most of the server backed me up, but I am also autistic and would like some impartial judgement. I (23M) am the mod of a fairly small (~40 people) discord server. The server is focused around a character we all like, and frequently includes discussion, art, and fic related to this character, various ships, and 18+ content ranging from tame fluffy smut to much darker, dead-dove type content (largely because the original source material is pretty dark). For this reason this server is strictly 18+. We don't really have specific 18+ channels, and a few of the artists in the server are primarily NSFW artists.

I only became the (sole) mod about 3 months ago, when the previous mod/admin (who started the server) didn't have time anymore. For the most part things are very chill- I've never had to deal with any conflicts before this, the worst problems I've had are trying to keep the bots running and channels organized.

The youngest member of our server is (we thought) 18, the next youngest being 20. I recently found out through a series of screenshots that the youngest member is actually 17, turning 18 in about six months. I asked them about this in dms, since the screenshots were from their priv account on twitter (of them jokingly bragging about getting away with telling people they were 18 when they weren't). (and regardless of whether or not this was true, I wanted to let them know if someone on their priv was taking and spreading screenshots).

They got very upset at the screenshots being leaked (which is fair) but also confirmed that they were 17. I said that I was going to have to ban them from the server due to the NSFW content and they got very upset, saying I was infantilizing them etc. They also briefly tried to backtrack and say that they were just joking about being 17 and were actually 18, but stopped when i didnt believe them. I explained it wasn't about maturity-- imho if they are mature enough to handle the source material, they're mature enough to be in the server- but rather that there are potential legal repercussions for having a minor in a NSFW space. I even said that, while I was upset about them lying, I would even be open to letting them rejoin the server after they turned 18 (AFAIK they weren't lying about their bday, they just said they were a year older than they actually are to get into 18+ spaces).

They were really angry about this so I put it to the server for a vote and to let everyone know what was happening. Honestly I don't know what I would have done if the server voted to keep them in, but they voted almost unanimously to ban them at least until they were 18. I'm not on twitter anymore but I know that several of the people on there also blocked them from their accounts (since they posted 18+ art, fic, etc).

Other relevant info:

- this person didn't actually post any art or fic that was outright explicit, but they definitely participated in NSFW discussions (all fandom related, nothing related to personal lives).

- they were added to the server by the original admin--she apparently had no idea they were underage and also blocked them from her twt account.

The younger person is really upset at me and has sent me multiple angry paragraphs in dms about how I was ruining their fandom experience, discriminating against them just because they were a minor, and said that this wouldn't be an issue if we weren't all so porn-addicted. I half jokingly replied that I'm not sure how the last one could be an issue for me personally, given that I'm asexual, which they then said was problematic for implying ace people couldn't watch porn (???). I stopped replying since I didn't know how to respond and they have sent me some more messages in the same vein (I'm bullying them, all of their online friends hate them because of me, etc).

Kind of unrelated, but I don't actually know who on their priv took the original screenshots- they have ~80 followers on there, none of whom are in the server as far as I can tell. The person who sent me the pics is someone in the server, who said she got it from someone who is actually on the priv account (because she posts 18+ art and the person who took the SSs wanted to let her know that a minor was following her).

Why I may be TA: I do genuinely think this person is mature enough to handle the discussions we were having (except for the recent string of angry DMs, they've been very chill and level headed), I banned them because of legality, not morality. I also wouldn't have known about this if it wasn't for the daisy chain of screenshots that were unknowingly taken from their priv account, which idk seems like an invasion of privacy to me.

I did also tell the server all of this so they'd know why I was kicking this person, and then several people in the server posted about it on twt which apparently got the 17yo blocked from a bunch of accounts. I do feel bad and understand why they're upset- but I can't knowingly allow a minor to access 18+ content since that is legitimately illegal and could really fuck up my life.

still don't know if it's legit or not, im just posting this so i can come back to it later, but multiple sources across multiple platforms (reddit, twitter, discord, youtube, etc.) are claiming to have seen TADC on netflix earlier today, under 'worth the wait'. it seems to only be a US (and maybe UK?) thing, and it's since been taken down after people started posting about it. did anyone here see it while it was apparently still up?

there was apparently a link to the preview, which eventually turned into a "lost your way?" page. but now, it just redirects you back to netflix's home page. some people are also claiming TADC was only visible on the tv and app versions of netflix, not pc.

at first, i thought this was just a very well done photoshop with some decent editing skills, but with at least 7 different people over multiple platforms with photo/video/screenshots of it happening, it's hard to think it could be fake. the images all show different netflix title lineups, and having to edit together that many individual images and videos for a bit seems like a lot of effort.

we've been reassured that TADC will remain free on youtube (cube said it in the glitch inn) after this news came out, but there was no clarification on whether this news is legit or not, which.... if it was fake, id assume that would be an easy "no, this isnt real" answer, right? but we didnt get that?

what concerns me the most is that glitch has said they didnt want to partner with streaming services in the past, so why would they be changing their mind now? would this just be a 'netflix hosts the show but has no input' deal, or would netflix now have involvement with the show's production?

if this is real, i can at least hope it's that first option. as stupid as it is to host a FREE show on your PAID streaming service, as long as theyre not involved with TADC, i dont care what netflix does. theyd be paying glitch money to host it, and that money would go towards show production. seems like a win-win situation for both parties, as dumb as it sounds.

but in the end we still dont have any answer on if it's real or not. we'll just have to wait for either glitch, netflix, or someone else involved to clarify the truth. maybe it's all fake, and someone really did go through the effort to edit together this many photos and videos, and have that many alt accounts.

i just wanted to post this here, both so if it's fake we can at least respect the effort put in, and just in case anyone here on tumblr saw it before i could (all this happened before i woke up this morning, so i didnt get a chance to check netflix myself).

Hey Twitter(/Reddit) alternative seekers

Okay, fandom. Everyone's all worked all the time about this or that new alternative to Twitter and how it's either awesome or it sucks. I'm here to tell you about an OLD alternative: Plurk.

(Note that this was originally formatted for Twitter so forgive the jank thread paragraphing)

Disclaimer: This information is specifically aimed at people who use Twitter for fandom purposes; it is not intended to cover the exhaustive list of things that people use Twitter for (professional networking, art/photography promotion world news, etc). It's friend-centric rather than follow-centric, at least as the existing site culture goes.

So what is Plurk? It's a threaded microblogging platform dating back to 2008 that has only ever seen extremely niche use in English-language use. (Its primary userbase is Chinese-speaking.) It has a purely chronological timeline and a lot of privacy features that you haven't seen since the LJ era (assuming you're old enough to remember that).

Plurk functions through an exclusively-chronological timeline on your homepage (desktop) or in the app. Algorithmically sourced content? We ain't got it! (There is a different page for viewing top content but you have to go there specifically.) Instead, your timeline shows your own content and the content of other plurkers you friend or follow, and the occasional ad (MUCH more occasional than Twitter).

Each top-level plurk can be replied to, and this creates a chain of replies that can be used for conversation. Unlike Twitter and Reddit, replies don't form branching threads; each plurk is only one stream of conversation. Plurks with unread replies will be lit up as unread; however, they can be "muted" to stop them from giving you notifications.

(Two small caveats: You cannot mute your own plurks, and there is actually a cap of around 200 muted plurks. Mutes will fall off from the oldest, so you'll sometimes see an ancient plurk pop back up on your timeline if someone comes back to it. You can just mute it again.)

Your plurk timeline has a global privacy control. If your timeline is set to private, only people you have friended can see what you say on there. If your timeline is public, then anyone who comes to you page can see what you've posted, AND logged-in users can share your post on their own timeline with the "replurk" function (works just like a normal retweet), as well as reply to it.

There is also an "anonymous" option, which anonymizes you and also the names of everyone who replies (it randomly generates names like "lemon354" and "libra262" for repliers to differentiate them). Anonymous plurks will stay within your timeline if your plurk is set to private, but can be replurked if it's public.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE, because individual plurks can also be given specific privacy levels: -> Friends only (if your timeline is public but you don't want this one getting around) -> Private to "cliques," which are Twitter circles but you can have more than one -> Individual users (including those not on your friends list - this is plurk's equivalent of DMs)

Your own plurk homepage is also insanely customizable, if you want to break out the CSS or even just have a custom background. You can also alter your display name (though the character cap is VERY short), and your display name color, as well as the standard avatar change. Usernames cannot be changed as a free user, but can be changed by paid users (more on paid options in a second).

Plurk also has its own image hosting, and a pastebin-alike plaintext called Plurk Paste that has no character limit. (The character limit for top-level plurks is longer than Twitter's.)

It also has CUSTOM EMOTES in addition to its (somewhat wild) default selection. They're similar to Discord's customs, except that you can use GIFs from the get go; what's restricted is the number of slots you have as a free user. (And size is capped at 48x48 px.)

Plurk has ads, but they're mostly unobtrusive (and can be clocked entirely with ad blockers, but I didn't say that). Plurk keeps the lights on through a subscription model called Plurk Coin, which is very cheap (under $2.50 USD/month) and can be gifted to other users. Coin gives you a number of benefits including the "Except" privacy option, more username colors, response editing, and a bunch more custom emote slots.

Concerned about harassment? Plurk has one of the most robust blocking systems in social media that I've ever seen. You block someone, and they can't see you (even by going to your profile) and you can't see them. That's it, done. Full no-contact.

NSFW/18+ content is allowed. There's a specific flag for it when you first post a plurk. Plurk does expect you to use that tag when appropriate, but is otherwise very forgiving of NSFW content, at least in my experience. (Again, though, English plurk is a very small community ATM).

The thing to remember about Plurk is that it is very much a remnant of an older internet, from the days before algorithms. Like Tumblr, it's a social media where you won't see anything if you don't reach out to follow and friend people. It predates "going viral" as a goal of internet usage. The goal is to talk to people.

As an aside: Since I originally wrote this up, I've seen rumors about Japanese fanartists moving to plurk and even seen one or two mentions of it in the wild on my Twitter timeline as people talk about following those artists. Fantastic! If that's you, then I hope you find this slightly more in-depth guide to features helpful.

Dark Souls 1 faces references Part 1: Oscar, Ricard, Solaire,

Heyyyy Dark Souls artists (all five of you who still use this website fdshfhd), I have great news for you! The curse of Dark Souls 1 (being horrendously undocumented in terms of NPC references) is over!!!

Long story short, I've seen a screenshot of Ciaran that made me question whether she actually had face data in versions of the DLC before Remastered. That started a long chain of me asking literally every person online that I could think of, with no one responding except for single Redditor redirecting me to modding community for Soulsborne, and there, out of waaaaay too many people, finally, someone was kind enough to help me out!

Their only contacts I have for reference are rayanwasalsotaken on Discord and RayanTheMad on Twitter! Yet I've only learned Rayan had a Twitter AFTER posting the screenshot dumps there, so.... 🤡 yeah that was frustrating. Twitter allow editting posts already!! They told me to be free to share the screenshots they gathered online instead of them (they said it was jarring for them to go spread images across social media and wikis. fair and valid.)! Posts will be in several parts as there are several angle shots and sometimes some explaining to do!

Okay so, apparently, the boy does not have blue eyes! You know who does (kinda) have? RICARD!

Ricard

Well, actually not even blue, but a more dark shade of greyish green!

Nonetheless, it could be assumed blue from afar! ! And, fun fact! Whereas they look very similar, they are NOT identical!

Aside of having different eye color and Ricard's hair being more saturated (more yellow), they do have different eye shape too; Ricard's is more downturned! Ricard also has a slightly bigger nose! I guess even with limitations of NPC data of Dark Souls 1, they did try to point out the differences in vibe!

Solaire

Nothing new to see here, his screenshots are actually viral, unlike others, but here have a look anyway x) Interestingly enough, his face data changes the hairstyle in the bad ending of his questline; whereas Rayan didn't take screenshot of just that change specifically, it actually IS documented and confirmed!

Interestingly enough, while Anastacia uses unique model rather than player NPC base one, the data for NPC still exists in the game's files, apparently!

It is actually very convenient to have it, because her unique model does NOT have eyes texture:

At the same time, you can see that this 'unique model' appears to reuse assets from NPC data, as the model for hair is identical, and her face even has the same issue of eyebrows always being that brown color when they aren't grey. I wonder if NPC model lacked functionality intended (like NPC models weren't created to have this pose and animation), so they copy+pasted it mostly on unique asset?

Even with that, I suppose her hair is canonically more "yellow", and her player model is the only reference for her eye color.

Additionally, the hairbun is definitely something they've settled with even in her concept, so I suppose she holds "priority" for this hairstyle! RIP the braid though

Bit of an Update - Scammers

AS OF THIS DATE: 31st JANUARY 2025 MY COMMISSIONS ARE STILL CLOSED.

THIS POST IS A SIGNAL BOOST AND WARNING DUE TO RECENT EVENTS.

Hey, so, I need to highly preface that my active social medias for taking commissions are only on: TUMBLR (DMs are currently closed due to bots), BLUESKY and INSTAGRAM.

I no longer use Twitter as a place of communication for taking in commissions.

I do not take commissions over discord unless it's from mutuals and from other people I'm in a server with! This is important because this is how someone got scammed!!

It came to my recent attention that someone was pretending to be me on discord by using my commissions page and linking my Bluesky as a means to scam someone. I implore you all to PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

These people will try to impersonate artists as well and target people in search of comms, always be vigilant and double check the sources and the pages of these scammers. If their art is inconsistent and clearly doesn't reflect their style, it's probably a scam.

Reverse-image search is also a good way to double check, as well as looking for any signatures and watermarks of the involved images!

Here is a helpful guide by @leidensygdom who goes through a detailed explanation of identifying scammers and making sure that you won't get ripped off and targeted.

Always double check your sources and the images these people link because it may not be theirs and can be someone else's entirely.

The same goes for any artist who is being messaged to be commissioned.

Please be careful and take care of yourselves. Don't get scammed by these soggy paper straws of people.

I promise I’m not being messy but where are you seeing the stupid posts? I’m just curious

Like most of my mental health issues, people having incorrect takes i disagree with about fictional characters i love is multicausal. I'm firmly off twitter, tiktok and, more recently, off instagram as well, so my main source of frustration is tumblr.

Sometimes it's a genius reblogging a vague post about the treatment of victims in fandom and the way it ties to culture irl and thinking it's a reasonable and respectful take to suggest we retcon stories that involve themes of victimhood entirely and not see how this would be out-of-pocket and inappropriate.

Sometimes tumblr.com does the funny thing on my dash where it sees I liked several Steph posts so it shows me a wildly incorrect take from someone so determined to hate onto Jason they'd make Steph into an asshole- and sometimes I get into the notes because I'm a masochist and see someone calling Jason a terrorist for the events of Seeing Red while referring to Mia Dearden as a teenage girl (nevermind that she and jason are practically the same age), a csa victim (several times) and Green Arrow's daughter and sidekick, but never by her actual name. Of course, there's the time I made the mistake of going into the Mia tag because (god forbid) I wanted to find art of one of my favourite characters to reblog. Honestly the mia & jason discourse made me angrier on behalf of Mia than Jason tbh.

There's also the frequent tendency of people to maintag jason hate, which comes from I believe two sources. First there's the people who love to hate Jason and don't realize it's still not a positive post for the character (i.e. "bftc is actually good! People just need to accept that jason is an obsessive little psycho, he's actually in character in it he's just evil and I love him for that, he's one of my favourite crazy evil fucked up guys :3 love how fucked up in the head he is"/ or "jason's hypocrisy is a core element of his character and that's what makes him interesting, him going after children (never mind that jason mia and tim are all in the same age range and they're all in their late teens at that point) but having a no drugs for children policy is a super important factor that gets referenced in later comics (i.e. bftc/morrison's b&e) and I love how complex and flawed that makes him!!"). And course, there's also the people who think it's appropriate to put hate in the character tag, both towards his fans and towards the character, which is how we end up with "jt fans steal the trait of being a victim of sexual abuse from female characters because of misogyny" in the character tag ending up on my dash.

I don't tend to understand fanfic as "takes", because fanfic is transformational work yadda yadda just because I don't like the characterization doesn't mean I should make assumptions on what the author's actual knowledge and opinions on canon are. However, sometimes people will write things in their author note that are definitely opinions, maybe to explain or justify their fic I don't know, which is how sometimes you'll be browsing ao3 and find yourself face to face with a fic about Morrison era Jason, a csa survivor, sexually abusing Sasha, and an author note that states "Jason Todd is a hypocrite and I write him as one". (Come to think of it, all those posts about hypocrisy are starting to make me think i'll have to make a side-point about cognitive dissonance in my personality meta 😮‍💨). So sometimes, it's ao3.

And of course, sometimes my lovely mutuals vent to me on discord or dms about the discourse they have seen, like phenomenally vapid shallow comparisons of James Gordon Junior and Jason Todd that vividly ignore how fucked up Dick's behaviour was in the only era where that comparison would make sense and hide behind a nothingburger to avoid acknowledging the psychophobic nature of their take. And sometimes, in those situations, I get so annoyed about it that, after checking out the source (because I'm a principled hater) I will vague about it myself.

Honestly I'm trying to tone it down because this blog is supposed to be fun and interesting and I know I've been pretty negative recently (probably related to my extremely stressed current situation but who knows) but, yeah. That's where it comes from.

So since I don't have the hell site Twitter anymore I didn't know about the sa allegations, I did see a few post here and there on here about how swiss would hurt jutty but didn't pay much to it at the time, but I have looked into it from outside sources mostly through comments from here and tiktok and from what I have seen people say ( once again I'm not supporting jutty) is that the "evidence" used which was a photo that ended up (rumored) being fake as it was a stolen photo from another fan and the fact that the meet and greet was 18+ only and she was 15 so how did she get in?

The photo thing brought back memories of when joseph quinn was accused of sa during LFCC 2024 (i think that was the year) in which the photo that was used was from another fan and then the sa ended being confirmed false by the girls ex friend discord message were she admits to lying about the SA.

I have seen so many false sa allegations in my life, especially on Twitter, to the point that it gets harder and harder for me to believe the would-be victims and saying this as a female as well. falsifying sa allegations ruins the chances of real victims getting help as they think no one will believe them with how many false sa allegations there have been, which is horrible, sa is no joke! Should never be used as a weapon against someone.

Update: i did look further, and I did see that she has apparently brought this to the police now from a tweet I've seen from the victim, which now makes it a possible police matter. I have tried looking for the photo that was used as evidence but couldn't find it, which makes me think it was deleted, and apparently, jutty had a crash out on Twitter as well. However, until the matter is solved by the police I am unable to know who to believe yet.

Update 2: I've looked further and saw a comment on a post about jutty not being at antwerp on reddit and that the investigation said there was insufficient evidence to pursue the case against the band member, Now i don't know if this is true, but that's all I found atm.

Now I've heard people saying they want jutty to off himself, and if the allegations were to come out as false and he did end up ending his life, you practically killed an innocent man, please keep your comments to your self until more details come out.

Saying these things is not helping the situation! I know wanting to express hatred, but please keep these types of comments to yourself until more details come out! I know the saying "always believe the victim" but also take it with a grain of salt, especially if the accusations are coming from that hell site. Now I'm not saying I don't believe the victim but also don't fully go by what they say and to look into it throughly at all the evidence they have put instead of instantly believing them.

Now, from what I have seen, this is the only evidence of the allegations against jutty as I did try to see if there was more, but this was the only evidence presented by the girl, now from were his hands would be is a little dark but I think they might be behind his back. I did try to look for the apparent allegations from his exs but couldn't locate them, but if anyone has them, please send them to me so I can look them over.

Update 4: So there's rumours going around that swiss/jutty taylor has quit ghosts. I'm not sure if this is true or not, as ghosts themselves haven't said anything yet, so let's wait until it's officially announced by ghost themselves.

An Earthspark Prowl toy (with an official render on the packaging) was leaked as well as a new Warrior series Thrash.

Prowl's figure is a recolor of a previous Hot Rod. (They didn't even bother to remove the flames.)

I'm pretty sure most people who use puriteens are using it in a serious but tongue in cheek capacity, what's wrong with that? Also WHY is brat in there? Was that intentional, or are you just really really young, and/or have no interaction with people over uh, 20? Because everyone I know outside of fandom knows what the word brat is, it's a common word. It might be regional, but it's FAR from something that originated online.

The adult was grooming all of those minors, showing NSFW artwork of Cookie Run characters to the minors saying that the artists and people who like certain artwork and ships are “pedophiles” and that the adult running the Discord server is “one of the good adults.” That minor was bullying a classmate over Cookie Run ships, which is how the mother found out what was going on. Not only that. The minor had a Twitter and interacted with NSFW artwork. There have also been scenarios on Twitter where minors butt into conversations about sexual content. A minor was interacting with the Azur Lane Twitter account, which is a lewd gacha game filled with anime tiddies that can be comedically large. That minor claimed that one of the (at the time) latest cards of one of the game’s characters was “fetishizing their culture.” It’s a game about battleships and aircrafts as anime waifus. There are minors that invade adult spaces and then throw a fit that they’re getting kicked out. Some obnoxious minors will fling the word “pedophile” around at any adult that tells them to get lost. I saw a 15 year old go, “I bet your pedo ass got off to that.” “That” being the adult telling the minor to stop having conversations about sexual content out in the open on social media like Twitter and to stay out of adult spaces. There are also minors who unironically regurgitate the same puritan sentiments extremist “Christians,” 90’s soccer moms, and old white guys that tried to blame GTA for gun related crimes. That is where the “puriteen” (as corny as the term sounds and looks) comes from. It’s the same puritan mentality, but being performed by younger people. To end this off on a hot take, minors should not be on social media. Because there are creeps that lurk on social media and adults who groom children into an anti mentality and antis are the equivalent of a cult. I felt chills seeing minors on TikTok saying, “I’m scared that I will become a predator for still having a crush on a character who will still be underage by the time I become an adult.” Some of the comments under that TikTok video were also thinking about seeking therapy related to that statement. If you still think people who get mad at minors who invade adult spaces are the problem even after I provide these real scenarios of minors getting involved in spaces they’re not supposed to, then idk what to tell you. Sorry that this ended up being hella long, it just annoys me to see someone invalidate adults in fandom that keeps minors out of adult spaces and labeled them as “the actual problem.”

Ava Kris Tyson Situation - All Facts

Ava Kris Tyson of Mr. Beast has been accused of THREE things:

Sending inappropriate messages to a minor

Associating with and owning art from CP "artist" Shadman

Sharing revenge p0rn of Jennette McCurdy

Accusation 1:

Ava was in contact with @/LavaGS from when he was 13 and Ava was 20. LavaGS is now 20, and has stated that Ava did nothing wrong and that LavaGS was never exploited by her. [Tweet]

Ava was in contact with LavaGS via Discord and over public tweets on Twitter. Ava and other members of the Mr. Beast crew met up with LavaGS when he was 16. [Tweet]

The tweets included jokes about sending nudes.

ImBrainFreak was in contact with Ava when he was 15, and ran Ava's private Discord server alongside LavaGS.

Unvetted: Ava allegedly sent snaps to LavaGS with the statement "cumming for America". The image exists. A video of Ava snapping someone also exists. [Video] ImBrainFreak also claims Ava had an NSFW bot spamming p0rn in a Discord server with minors present. No screenshots were provided, and ImBrainFreak says that he and LavaGS wiped the server. Shadman is an "artist" who draws l0licon. He has also drawn CP of real children, including Keemstar's daughter when she was 8 (circa 2017).
