6. Favorite title you used

Answered here, but I will happily brag again :) Lucky Reds, Ascension Blues gave me SO much trouble at first-- I couldn't decide between "reds" or "red" for like three whole days-- but now I'm so fond of it, it really makes me laugh ❤️ Similarly, Three’s a Crowd also makes me giggle <333 making Jiang Cheng third-wheel his brother and beloathed brother-in-law is really such an easy recipe that the title felt like cheating

15. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

RUBS HANDS EVILLY. I also mentioned here a long Scum Villain au I've been writing-- shoutout again to @bytedykes for, well, everything. It's very obvious that Yue Qingyuan from Scum Villain was my top favorite punching bag obsession character this year, and I've been working for months on a multi-chaptered, extremely ambitious au which involves him being forced to literally face a living, breathing, equally self-loathing version of his younger self from the moment of his worst failure. It does technically have a very long lyric title, but more importantly, it's called spin cycle, because it's genuinely just me throwing yqy into various trenches to bang around in until he comes out the side bruised but therapized as he can get in xianxialand 💗💗💗 I admit I've been a bit blocked on it for a while now, but I hold it VERY close to my heart and am sincerely looking forward to writing more of it in the new year!!!

Also, for the [checks notes] fourth year running, Synecdoche remains in my list of wips!!! I promise I still love it and think about it often, I'm just terrified to sew together the last few paragraphs that would render the fic complete. I have not given up hope of posting it publicly through weekly updates like I've been dreaming of for so long!!! Bear with me, folks!!!!

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

I've answered this already but of course I'm going to brag yet again, this time about on all my dying days (I swear):

Impossible, Liu Qingge thinks again. He has not gotten where he sits now by being stupid enough to think himself invincible, but it comes as a cold shock to realize that he very well might have seen Yue Qingyuan as such. But he remembers that calm, dead smile Yue Qingyuan had worn even when it looked like he was carrying half his blood outside of his body, and how familiar that smile had been, and then Liu Qingge has another wholly unwelcome thought: That a dead thing cannot be killed twice.

This got so much of a reaction from Nik bytedykes that it made me retroactively extremely proud of a line I hadn't put that much thought into while penning down :) Love you, yqy <333

23. Did you do any collaborative works this year?

HA, HA <3 Yes, I've had the time of my life sharing my work with you while we serve our time in the danmei trenches, as evidenced by the amount of gift fics I posted this year and the sheer volume of comments I've so kindly received :) Thank you endlessly for your input on spring in bloom and dying days-- they wouldn't exist if you didn't have impeccable taste in minor side characters to obsess over :) And, of course, neither spin cycle nor ❤️‍🩹 fic are not posted (yet?), but they remain champion of my heart and [redacted] :)))
