7 Steps to DIY Easter Egg Dyes
Easter is right around the corner! This year dye your eggs with your own DIY natural colors. No need for food coloring or fancy kits, use what you have at home to make your eggs bright and colorful!
Make your naturally died Easter eggs by:
Place your eggs in a pot and fill the pot with water until the eggs are just covered.
Add approximately 1 teaspoon of vinegar to the water
Add your natural dye to the water. For a more intense/vibrant color, add more dye than there is water in your pot.
Bring the water to boil
Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes
After the eggs have simmered for 15 minutes and you are happy with their color, remove the eggs from the water
For a more intense color, leave the eggs in the dye overnight (in the refrigerator).
Colors:
Lavender: Purple Organic Grape Juice, Violet Blossoms, 2 tsp Lemon Juice, & Red Zinger Tea
Blue: Canned Blueberries, Red Cabbage Leaves (boiled), Hibiscus, Tea, & Red Wine
Green: Spinach Leaves (Boiled) & Liquid Chlorophyll
Yellow: Orange or Lemon Peels (boiled), Carrot Tops (boiled), Celery Seed (boiled), Ground Cumin (boiled), Ground Turmeric (boiled), Camomile Tea, & Green Tea
Red: Red Onions Skins (boiled), Canned Cherries with Juice,Pomegranate Juice, & Raspberries

5 Tips To Get Organized This Spring
Get your shed or garage ready for your outdoor projects and tasks. Use the 5 tips below to keep organized this season!
Get your tools together. Separate your tools so that similar/like tools are near each other. Making the tools that you use most frequently readily available will save time and frustrations come project time.
Save Space. Hang a pegboard on a wall in your garage or shed. This will allow you to hang your lighter garden tools. After placing your tools in an organized way, outline your tools with a magic marker to keep you organized all season and add a fun garden design to your pegboard. Knowing exactly where your tools fit will make putting tools away easier throughout the season!
Utilize your space. If you do not have room for a pegboard wall, think about other areas of your garage/shed that you can utilize. Look for places you can add shelving to, ways to store tools and boxes. An over the door belt hook is a great place to store extension cords & hoses!
Out with the old. Go through any storage containers or boxes in your garage. Ensure you need items you have boxed up. Put aside tools and items that you no longer need, no longer work, or need replacing. It feels good to let go of excess clutter and baggage!
Make weekends easier. Get the tools you use everyday or every weekend together and stage them near the entrance of your garage or shed. This will make tasks easier and will save you from digging around on Saturday mornings! The more available your tools are, the less yard chores seem like work!
Happy Spring RYOBI Friends!

Dusting Off Your RYOBI Outdoor Power Tools
Before you know it, the sun will be shining, birds will be chirping and the temperature will be rising. Get your outdoor power equipment ready for spring use now!
If you are having a hard time getting your gas unit started, it doesn't mean the unit is broken! If you accidentally stored your unit without removing all gas and oil, your tool is most likely clogged.
Tumblr media
To avoid starting/clogging issues with your unit, be sure to use a fuel stabilizer with all ethanol mixed fuel. Using a stabilizer like Ethanol Shield can help prevent the corrosion and problems in your small engine. For your 2-Cycle Engines, you can always use the Ethanol Shield Engine Lubricant when mixing your oil and gas. This oil is designed to prevent ethanol related problems!
If your string trimmer, hedge trimmer, or mower will not starts, go to your local Home Depot and pick up Mechanic In A Bottle. Mechanic in A Bottle converts many of the corrosive agents still in your unit, into working parts. In some cases, Mechanic In A Bottle can not fix all problems. It may be necessary to replace damaged parts, such as fuel lines, before smoothly running your unit. Just make sure that you only use 100% gas or gas with a fuel stabilizer in each tank this spring/summer. This will help avoid small engine starting and running problems!
