When they hurt your feelings
Featuring: Tesla, Qin, Anubis, and Thor ( part 3 )
Idk if I’ll do part 4 unless people request characters I have not done. Also sorry for the Okita spam lately.
Part 1 and Part 2
Warnings: A bit suggestive with Anubis, name calling / swearing
Tesla
You had been married to Tesla for years but one thing he gets pissy about is when anyone touches his experiments. It’s not you but he gets irritated and has to start over from scratch.
Though, what you had done wasn’t on purpose. It was an accident when you walked into his ‘Hyper God House’ because that is what Tesla called it or whatnot. It made no sense to you it doesn’t bother you what he called things. He was testing wireless transmissions. He was so heavily induced in his work that you haven’t talked to him in a few days.
You didn’t see him in his workshop and you decided to walk over to see the blueprints that were laid out on his desk. He was dedicating his time more to this research than being at home. You were a bit saddened but he told you before marrying you that his research would always take priority and you were fine with it. Were you fine? He still showed his care and never missed any important days or holidays.
“Seriously? What is this…” you touched one of his wireless experiments but barely and that’s when you heard the door open.
“Why are you in here? I told you to not come in here if I’m not here,” he swatted your hands away from his work area. You were offended and stepped away from him. He was never mean to you and was always enthusiastic about his work.
“I’m starting to believe you don’t even care for me, I haven’t seen you in days! Maybe I should move out,” you were about to leave but he blocked the entrance. You weren’t wanting to deal with him any longer.
Tesla had realized his words were a bit too harsh despite his social awareness he changed the topic. “You know this is important to me, the evolution is nearly here. I’m this close with my wireless lighting invention. Using these would generate high AC voltages, it’ll take some time but I’ll get there.” Tesla changed the mood and all you could do was sigh.
“Here, take a break. You look like you haven’t slept at all,” you grabbed his arm and he nearly tumbled forward but you caught him.
“This is why I need you here with me,” he whispered in your ear. You didn’t want to leave him but you wanted his affection. You had assisted him in many of his experiments and inventions.
Finally, you had helped him through the house and into your shared room to sleep. “I’ll get you something to drink and eat,” but he grabbed your wrist before you could leave.
“I need you to stay here for a bit longer. Having you here with me would clear my head a bit.” He was tired and groggy but you obliged to his request. You put a hand on his forehead and chest and laid down next to him snuggled into his side.
You were glad he was still himself even when he was a science die-hard nerd.
Qin Shi Huang
He was a king and you were just someone that he acknowledged in his kingdom and nation. He was emperor of China and you were someone of lowly status not worth his time. That all changed when he saw how strong you were protecting the people in a small village from some weak demon like the previous Chiyou who ruled China.
He admired your fighting skills and spirit and offered you to fight alongside him against his enemies in China. You scoffed and refused at first. He may be the handsome king of China, but you weren’t easily swayed by his presence.
After some time, he watched you practice with the spear and archery. You were skilled and much better than some of the warriors that serve him. Before you could catch him spying on you, he was already gone.
Not so much later, you met him again unexpectedly fighting in a war to protect his country. Your country as well from someone who hated him and those who killed his adopted mother. You stepped in to help him beat them but almost at the cost of your life to protect the emperor when someone almost struck him from behind.
The blow you took was almost fatal. Qin cursed himself and started yelling in frustration. He called you reckless and foolish. He was quick and had to carry you back with some of his allies aiding your injury that had struck you in the side. The blood loss was major. Qin was hopeful you’d make a full recovery and this time, you weren’t going to do something so dramatic for him again.
He could’ve easily dodged the man who tried to sneak attack him, yet you took the hit for him? “You’re still here?” your voice was hoarse and filled with pain. Qin was hiding behind the doors to the room he told his guards to put you in.
“You didn’t even need to do that, why? Why throw your life away like that?” Qin was angry but you didn’t look at him.
“I’ve always been a bit jealous of how you had everything and my home and village was gone. Nothing left for them— my family and friends. You hurt me the most with the failures of your orders that led to this war. I didn’t want to be like you, I’d rather someone like you live with the consequences and pain.” Your words struck Qin with horror. He was mad how you could say that to him— your king!
“You don’t know me then. I grew up as a cursed child abandoned by my parents and hated by my own people. Let me make it up to you… and to those you had lost.” Qin walked over to your bedside and you noticed markings covering the side of his body painfully.
“What? You got injured too?” You were terrified and didn’t know what you were seeing. His blindfold was off and he had opened his mouth to explain to you that he has mirror touch synthesis. Every time he sees someone else get injured, he would also feel that person's pain.
“S— Stop that! You shouldn’t hurt yourself for my sake.” You were trying so hard to turn away and hope he would leave.
“No. I don’t want you to be alone. At least not under my empire. I’ll make sure everyone lives prosperously.” Qin proudly says and you can see how happy he was despite the pain he felt because of you.
“That sounds… lovely. I want to live in that place that you say is prosperous.”
Anubis
He wasn’t someone you had expected to grow fond of over the years when his father became the king of Duat. You were happy with the new changes in Egypt before the ball dropped on you that he was supposed to be engaged to an Iranian goddess Anahita who was a cunning woman. Anubis on the other hand wasn’t mad or pissed. He looked more happy with her and even followed her around the palace.
Your jealousy shot through the roof when she started to compliment his body. She was immensely annoying and you wanted to find a way out of the place. You disliked her. With immense passion.
“Hey wait up! Wait up! You left so quickly, wow you’re fast.” Anubis ran after you but you couldn’t help but want to ask him why. Why did he agree to that agreement to marry such a useless goddess? Yes, useless since she was only of love and fertility and cared for making love and seducing men.
As you were going to say something, Anahita appeared behind him and gave you a very unauthentic smile as she grabbed onto his arm and leaned her head into him. Too close… you wanted to call her something but held your tongue back. “oh, it’s you young lady of Sumerian. Anubis here was just dining with me and trying out the new fine foods Egypt has to offer. You know I wonder, why haven’t you returned back to Uruk?” Anahita grinned and made a popping sound from her lips.
“Hm, I think you’re right. Maybe I will, I hope you two the best.” You courtly lowered your head before walking away. What hurt you the most was the fact Anubis didn’t say anything or run after you.
You saw Isis near the main hall with her daughter Bastet. “You look… mad?” Bastet observed you but Isis already knows why you look upset and tilted.
“I’m leaving, don’t bother your energy with me. I don’t have time for it.” You snapped but Isis scoffed.
“Set got into your head again didn’t he?” Isis leaned back on her chair at the end of the table.
“What do you mean? He told me lord Anubis is engaged to that… that woman and she is here!” You didn’t even know it, but your hands were clenching tightly turning your hands white. The anger was surging through you and everything you had with him was gone.
“She is just here visiting my dear. My dear son Anubis has already declined her proposals.” You gave Isis a blank expression. Bastet snorted a laugh but held herself back before wanting to get into the conversation.
“It doesn’t matter he— he won’t even stick up for me. Why should I even stay here?” Your feelings should matter but did they even matter to him?
Before Isis was going to refute your claims, you had already stormed back to your room. You were tired and fed up with them. Your father Marduk wouldn’t be pleased with this. You had thought for the longest time the deal would be you marry Anubis and the trade negotiations between your two countries would continue.
“Finally I caught up to you! You keep running off,” Anubis was alone and gave you sad eyes. Finally… that weirdo goddess wasn’t with him. You couldn’t help but wonder if they… did it. Your body shudders at the thought.
“Leave me alone, I don’t want to see you.” You stubbornly turned away and entered your room. Anubis stood outside with a hurt and confused expression. You never said such words to him.
“Did I— Did I do something? I’m sorry, I’m sorry if do something wrong!“ Anubis saw you grabbing your things and panic took over him. He grabbed your arms and pulled you into him as he held onto you. His warms were tightly wrapped around your waist as your back was pressed up against his chest.
“Did you like her? That goddess…” you were frozen in his arms.
“Who? Oh! Her? Miss Ana— something? I am only loyal to you! I swear it! Let me prove it to you. Pretty, pretty please?” he gripped your sides and you could feel how desperate he was to keep you with him.
Let’s say it was a long night.
Thor
He was affectionate to you in private, but at the same time apathetic around you in public. He cares for you in mysterious ways, but he was bloodthirsty for battles and rarely was home. He puts you down as someone weaker than most gods and shouldn’t get in the way of others in battle. You wanted to prove yourself useful somehow as a goddess of sorcery and magic. You even sought the valkyries to help you.
Forseti was the most annoying man to even be around with and you could swear he was the one married to Thor and not you sometimes. Being a part of the Norse pantheon made you wonder if there was more out there than what was in the palace. Valhalla was a strange place and if Thor was having fun on his own, maybe you should too.
You must’ve been hours away from Asgard and one thought made you want to explore more of Valhalla but you didn’t want to go back just yet. Many wonders had you curious. The scenery was beautiful seeing the open mountains, blue skies and rivers.
“What might you be doing?” A slithering voice jumped down from one of the trees. Ew… you crossed your arms unimpressed. You were a sorceress, no way you would let some creature man or whatever he was intimidate you whatsoever.
“Leave me alone, I have no interest.” You flicked part of your hair back and was going to walk passed him. Something must’ve struck a nerve because the creepy guy with a long tongue tried to grab you.
“Is that so?” You tried to move back a bit and use one of your fire defence spells to burn his hands from touching you.
“You stupid cunt,” the man’s hand grew several times larger as claws were aimed at you. Oh, dear… fuck. You wish you had told Thor where you had gone to.
“Fuck you!” You pointed one of your fingers at him and tried to form a bit of lightning in the palm of your hands that Thor taught you a long time ago. You tried to deflect the creature’s attack but it was to amplify the damage but he managed to hit you pretty well.
You almost didn’t notice your side was hit but the man had a devious look on his face. “I would like to keep you alive for my own pleasures~” he licked his lips as you nearly gagged. You would kill yourself before he would touch you!
Just as you were preparing for an immediate attack, someone crashed down onto the serpent. Your eyes widened in shock. You noticed Thor’s hammer appeared right in front of you. It had completely pancaked the serpent or whatever creature he was. Huh? He was that weak?! You pouted as if you wanted to be the one to kill him.
“You followed me?” You turned to face him.
“Well, no. I was told you had left so I went to find you.” He noticed your side was damaged and his face contorted from the damage the serpent did to his wife.
“I’m taking you back and making sure you get healed. Next time don’t leave without telling me,” he went to pick you up and put you over his shoulders making you shriek.
“Hey wait! I can still walk!” he was carrying you and his hammer. He even teleported back to the palace in an instant. This man was full of surprises with you.
“I like taking care of what’s mine.” Meaning you and the hammer. Your cheeks turned a deep shade of red. Thank god he couldn’t see your face since you were still hanging over his shoulder.
He dropped you off at the infirmary to get cleaned up and healed. Thor had stuck by your bedside apologizing for not being around as often. You weren’t hurt anymore but you wanted to be with him more.
“I’ll take you next time to some other places. Rest here for now.” He inhaled a sharp breath and still sat next to your bed. He would sleep in the chair if it meant you were comfortable and better.

Note: finally it’s done! Dunno what to do for the next series. Anyway, I may get back on Susano’o and Anubis one shots. Kind of miss doing them…

The Villian's Lair - Machiavellian Part 2
Warnings: aphrodisiac, diabolical pranks
Summary: Wanda and Natasha get to the Reader's Lair.
Series Masterlist Main Masterlist
X--X--X--X--X
Typically, an international criminal of your renown would have their base of operations on a secluded island or an anonymous fancy building. What the two female superheroes were not expecting was your base to be a dockyard with piles of shipping containers.
Natasha looks at the little note you had slipped into Wanda’s pocket when she passed out; it states the location and time along with a “Don’t be late ;)” on the other side.
They approached the rusty metal door, the only one that hadn’t been welded shut on the shipping crates that were on the ground. Wanda couldn’t help but crack a smile at the dirty welcome mat at the entrance.
They entered the crate only to find a fireman’s pole at the far end; there were signs that said “Come down if you want to catch me ;)” with obvious arrows pointing at the pole.
Natasha, gun in hand, walked closer. She attempted to peer at the bottom, but it was pitch black. Wanda stayed a few steps behind, ready for any surprise attack. Her magic was at her fingertips, waiting to be called forth.
Wanda and Nat shared a glance, debating whether the obvious trap was worth it. For all your faults, you had never used lethal force on either of them, despite having several opportunities to do so.
Wanda, feeling brave, stepped forward and grabbed the pole with one hand. She gave the ex-assassin a cautious smile and jumped down, clinging onto the poll.
She didn’t get far; the hole was only as deep as her shins. Wanda stared at Natasha, dumbfounded, who looked equally perplexed.
There was a slight static before a voice was heard chuckling.
“Oh wow, I can’t believe you actually fell for it! She had told me this would happen, but I expected more from you, at least, Natalia.”
The disembodied voice teased, It was certainly not your voice. The accent was similar, but the voice sounded younger… much younger.
“Alright, enough of these games. They’re expecting you… You don’t want to keep her waiting, do you?”
As soon as her statement ended, a slight glow filled the center of the space. A square platform with enough space for both of them.
The two wordlessly stepped on the platform and began their descent.
Within less than a minute, the wall in front of them opened to expose a lavish corridor.
They stepped forward, the decor catching them off guard. It was simple: wooden floors and gorgeous emerald walls.
They walked further down and entered what they presumed was the central living expanse, littered with cosy sofa cushions, a gorgeous fireplace and a coffee table.
Gun still in hand, Natasha peeked down the corridor on the right to see a singular door. Within the door, classical music could be heard.
Wanda decided to walk down the corridor on the left, entering the dining area.
There was an open kitchen; the stove had something being prepared on low heat while the oven had a delicious aroma wafting from within it.
Wanda glanced at the kitchen island, raising an eyebrow at the sight of two wine glasses, one of which was half-filled.
X—X—X—X—X
Natasha silently opened the door, making sure nobody was inside. She walked into your bedroom, surprised by how cozy it was. She quickly walked to your bedside where your phone was and placed a wireless cloning device, courtesy of Tony.
She looked around the room, placing listening devices strategically to ensure she had backups in case a few were found.
Once she was notified that your phone was done cloning, she left the room to join Wanda in the kitchen.
The spy lowly whistled at the decor, breathing in deeply at the food. Wanda nodded in agreement, wondering if she could grab a quick bite before the fight started.
The two flinched when classical music started playing, Wanda summoning her magic while Natasha cocked her gun, ready to bring you in.
They tensed as they heard your footsteps come down the hall.
Wanda’s mouth went dry as she took in the sight of you; your hair was wet, a few drops trailing their way between your exposed collarbones and into the hidden depths of your grey shirt.
Natasha, on the other hand, was avoiding looking at your neck entirely. She refused to acknowledge how your warm golden skin looked almost bronze in this lighting.
Your smirk informed the two of them that you were well aware of your effect on them. Wordlessly, you walked to the kitchen and turned off the stove.
You glanced at the heroes, your smirk widening as you realised they hadn’t moved an inch.
While you let the contents of the pan cool, you grab the bottle of wine and pour some into the empty glass, then offer it to Wanda.
She frowns at the glass, causing you to roll your eyes, take a sip, and hand it to her.
“I haven’t poisoned the wine, Wanda.” You say, a smirk returning on your features.
She takes a tentative sip, eyes widening at the taste.
“That’s… really good.” She says hesitantly.
Your smirk broadens into a smile. “I know.”
Natasha clears her throat, finally grabbing hold of herself. You glance at her while you walk back to the kitchen, your own glass of wine in hand.
“What are we doing here?” She asks.
“What do you think you’re doing here?” You quip, taking the rice out of the cooker and into a serving bowl.
“We’re here to bring you in, obviously”, she responds smoothly. “Are you going to come quietly, or do we need to use force?”
Despite really not wanting to, Wanda sets her glass of wine on the kitchen island and summons her magic, red whisps circling her hands. However, she is frozen mid-step when she hears you say, “I surrender; you can take me in.”
“But,” you continue, “How about some dinner first?”
Wanda glances at your food, her stomach grumbling at the sight and smell of it. Her cheeks flush when she catches you grinning, having heard her stomach’s protest.
The three of you make your way to the dining table where the plates are already laid out. Natasha raises an eyebrow. “Expecting this, were you?”
You shrug innocently, sitting down. Natasha rests her gun on the table, pointing it towards you.
You glance at her gun and look at her, unimpressed.
“Can't be too careful, given the company”, she says sweetly as she sits down.
Wanda lets out a snort, covering it up with a slight cough.
You sigh mockingly, “I suppose that’s fair. Maybe I should return the favour.”
The Spy’s grip on her gun tightens as you summon your daggers and rest them on the table. Wanda’s eyes widened a fraction but showed no fear, once again not feeling as though her life was in danger.
“Why are they different colours?” She asked curiously.
You look at her in surprise; she didn’t look afraid in the slightest. In fact, she looked completely at ease.
“They have different purposes,” you explained. “The dagger with the slight purple shine to it makes use of poisons; I used the serpent god’s blood. The red one? That deals with energy. That one was slightly more tricky to forge; I had to use fresh blood straight from the dragon king’s heart.”
“Which poisons?” Natasha asked, interested in the purple dagger.
You grinned as you watched her fill her plate with food, eyeing the serpent dagger with interest.
“All of them, every single one. All I do is tell the dagger what kind of poison I want, and it coats itself with it.”
Wanda frowned. “So you poisoned me earlier?”
You merely winked at her. “I learned early on that the definition of ‘poison’ is very loose. So what I gave you was something similar to a general anaesthetic.”
“And what about the shield agent?” Natasha enquired. “He had one of the most gruesome deaths I have ever seen”
Your smile dropped, anger and disgust filled your being.
“That shit stain got what he deserved, if you don’t believe me just ask hiswife and daughter” you seethed.
The witch was caught off guard by your fury, surprising even herself. She grabbed your hand gently and rubbed your knuckles.
All the anger in you seemed to quiet down in that moment.
The rest of the dinner continued with a slight interrogation disguised as idle conversation.
To their surprise, Wanda and Natasha found themselves relaxing and enjoying the meal.
Somewhere between the meal, you had offered Natasha a glass of bourbon, which she reluctantly accepted. Natasha was unable to stop her eyes from fluttering at the taste. It was… delectable.
By the end of the meal, the three of you were idly chatting about everything and nothing.
You leaned back in your chair, checking your watch.
“Going somewhere?” Natasha asked, sarcasm dripping from her.
“Not yet.” Came the mocking reply.
“Ae, can you get the antidote, please?” You called out.
A giggle could be heard from nowhere. “You sure? It hasn’t even kicked in yet; they have another 5 minutes.”
You nodded, not saying a word as two shot glasses with clear liquid appeared on the table.
“Did you.. poison us?” Wanda asked, looking almost hurt.
“Technically… no. What I put in your drinks was an aphrodasiac, quite an intense one at that. It hasn’t been activated yet; it will take effect in the next 5-7 minutes.” You said with a smirk.
“What you have in front of you is the antidote to that. I slipped it into your drinks. I give you this choice: take the antidote and arrest me… or… Don’t take the antidote, have the best night of your life, and then arrest me.
Silence filled the room.
Wanda stared at you, eyes wide and face flushed. Natasha reached for the shot glass but stopped.
“But.. but you..” Wanda stuttered.
You nodded. “I have taken it, too. If you choose not to, I shall suffer the consequences. If you choose yes, then all of us will have quite a night—one I don't think any of us will ever forget.”
“Well, " you ask, leaning back in your chair, “what will it be…?”
X--X--X--X--X
Do you think Wanda and Natasha should take the antidote?
Pls interact and let me know your thoughts and how it was!!
Hope you enjoyed ;)

Noor Inayat Khan: The Princess Spy

Few people of colour are ever recognised for their efforts during WW1 and WW2, but even more so, women of colour are brushed aside and purposefully erased as they not only challenge the whitewashed history of the world wars, but they also challenge the perception that only men fought, bled, and died for the end of wars.
Noor Inayat Khan is one of those women of colour. Purposefully swept into the dark by both governments and social media, she is history's forgotten spy who helped the allies at their time of need.
The story of Noor Inayat Khan begins in Moscow; born on the 1st of January 1914, her father was an Indian Muslim and her mother was an American. A musician and Sufi teacher, Noor's father Inayat Khan was a descendant of Tipu Saltan, who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore, South India; her mother, Pirani Ameena Begum was a poet, and the two had met whilst he was travelling to America. They married, and had three children after Noor.
Only months after the birth of their beloved daughter Noor, world war one had broken out, so the family had decided to flee Moscow, and they settled in the Bloomsbury area of London, England.
In England, Inayat faced suspicion; his pro-Indian views drew racist surveillance from the British government and British officials.
From 1914 until 1920/1921, the family lived in England before moving to France; they had a house near Paris, where Noor would grow up.
When she was 13, in 1927, Noor's father died, and left her, her mother, and three siblings; the eldest daughter, Noor took it upon herself to shoulder the responsibility of the family. Her sense of duty unwavering as she fought to look after them.
As a young woman, Noor would begin to study; she was a student at Sorbonne, where she did courses on child psychology, and engaged in music at Paris Conservatory. Taught and mentored by Nadia Boulanger, she embraced her family's musical nature.
She flourished as a children's writer, creating and carving a career for herself at a children's magazine where she would write both English and French versions and in 1939, she would publish her book "Twenty Jataka Tales" in London.
But war would not escape Noor, and when the second world war broke out, her career was paused; she moved to England with her family in June of 1940, leaving Paris and avoiding the German Nazi invasion by using Bordeaux.
Upon arrival to England, the family stayed with Basil Mitchell; Mitchell had been a fan of Inayat Khan's teaching, and welcomed the family with open arms.
However, although Surfi beliefs greatly emphasise non-violence and non-violent action, Noor and her brother knew that they had a duty to help in the war effort against the Nazis in any way that they could; in November, Noor officially signed up.
She originally joined the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, where she was taught how to become a wireless operator. Within a year, she was promoted, and sent to the training schools where bombers were being taught; by 1943, she was promoted again, and joined the French section of the S.O.E. She was required to take special training as a wireless operator again - only this time, she was sent to Occupied France.
Noor was the first woman to hold such a position - the first wireless operator for the S.O.E in Occupied France, was a Muslim woman of colour.
Noor's own ideology, influenced by religion and the culture of her father, became apparent; she was repulsed by Nazism, repulsed by racism, and would do anything that she could to stand up for those who were subjugated. She would fight for anyone who was marginalised, and would have made any sacrifice for them.
She also believed in Indian Independence away from the British crown and government, something that she had personal history with, as her three times grandfather, Tipu Saltan, had died whilst fighting against British occupation.
Noor was aware of the dangers that working for the S.O.E presented, however, and she was more than aware of the dangers that she would face; but she strived to fight against Nazism nonetheless.
Training was difficult for Noor; she had to undergo mock Gestapo investigation and interrogation, she was forced to undertake training methods that would make most men crumble. But Noor was an all too competent woman to the point where her superiors would argue if she was really "right" to serve because of her skin colour, her religion, and her status as a woman.
Noor also wasn't an athlete, and could be rather sensitive at times, both of which were massively outweighed by her determination, her resolve, her will, her sense of duty and her beliefs. Eventually, she was allowed to go.
But before she was destined to step into the field, her brother pleaded with her not to go; they were a pacifist family, and if she got into a violent confrontation (which was bound to happen), then it would be a conflict of faith.
French intelligence officer Vera Atkins met with Noor at a restaurant in Mayfair before Noor's first mission; it was Noor's final, and only, chance to back down and back away without consequence. It could not be stated enough by Atkins at the key to success was Noor's confidence in herself; she asked Noor if she was satisfied, and if she could complete the mission, to which Noor responded with one word: "yes".
Atkins, however, was one of very few who knew what was eating Noor; leaving her family behind, and keeping such massive secrets from them, as well as their pacifist beliefs, had lead to an immense amount of guilt. But Atkins was smart, and arranged with Noor a plan; the Khan family would be kept up to date on good news, and if anything were to happen or something were to go wrong, Noor's mother would be the one to know as soon as all hope and sign of Noor coming back had disappeared.
The arrangement was enough for both women to agree, and soon enough, Noor was sent into the field.
Fluent in French and highly competent as a wireless operator, Noor was a shining star amongst her team, and became one of the most important members; she had proved all the racist and misogynistic and Islamophobic men who had doubted her wrong with shining colours.
Gaining the code-name Madeleine, Noor was flown out on the 16th of June 1943; she was tasked with finding and contacting Henri Garry in Paris, and from there, she would take on the role as a wireless operator in Le Mans.
At the same time, the Gestapo were working on finding out the secret networks that the French resistance had set up; Noor was sent to a safe house in France, where she would begin her work - she was the only agent in transmission in Paris, working under the banner of the Prosper network of the French resistance, most high ranking agents had been captured within days of Noor arriving.
The Gestapo were closing in, however, and Noor found herself having to move and evade them at every turn; a cat and mouse game had begun, and Noor was not about to allow herself to get caught by the scum.
For four months, Noor would change her appearance and address, and continued to transmit messages as often as she could; at the end of those four months, she had to do it all over again.
The Gestapo had wind of Madeleine, and had gotten her description; like rabid dogs, they chased her relentlessly. For months, Noor evaded them with all of her wits and her cunning and intelligence.

On the 14th of October, Noor intended to set a course back to England; one month before it was to become true, she was betrayed by the French, and was captured by the Gestapo pigs.
Beaten and bloodied, Noor was taken to the Gestapo headquarters in Paris, and was brutalised; she attempted to escape twice, but was caught both times. She had her copies of secret signals on her person, and the Gestapo found them; they used Noor's signals to trick and murder other S.O.E agents.
It wasn't long before Noor was sent elsewhere, and she arrived at Pforzheim prison in chains, and was immediately sent to solitary confinement; she was tortured regularly, and as highly dangerous as she was, Noor was also relentless. She never spoke a single syllable of withheld information.
She had looked death in the eye, and spat in the face of it.
Attempting to communicate with others, she scratched her name into items, including bowls and plates, and hoped another of the inmates would recognise her; cunning and intelligent, Noor never gave up.
In September of 1944, however, the situation grew worse, and Noor was sent to Dachau along with three other female S.O.E agents. They were sent on the 11th of September.
Two days after her arrival at the death camp, Noor was tortured even more along with her comrades; they were shot and killed. She was only 30 years old.
After the war, her memory was honoured when she was awarded the Croix De Guerre and the George Cross.
Noor Inayat Khan was more than a name. More than a princess or a spy, and was more than a legend; she was relentless, determined, courageous and strong. She was a woman who believed in putting others before herself, and she paid the ultimate price for it - only to be pushed aside and forgotten about in favour of white men, and in favour of keeping her memory buried.
Noor deserves better than that.

chase you down until you love me.

pairing: nat scatorccio x pervert!transmasc!reader
summary: when you catch your friend relapsing, the only thing you could do is drive to his motel to talk him out of it. hopefully he won’t mind that you’ve been spying him with a hidden camera.
tags: smut, nsfw, 18+ (minors dni), dom!nat, age gap, fwb?,,, you're basically misty in this scenario lmao, humiliation, dirty talk, fingering, nat slaps you!!, crying, handjob, no aftercare
wc: 628 >:( this is so bad forgive me (the ending especially)
"what the fuck do you think you're doing?" you exclaimed, chest heaving from running into nat's motel room and throwing the cocaine out of his hands. nat was leaning against the kitchen counter, staring blankly at the wall.
"you just wasted $300 worth of blow." he stared at you now, making you sigh and look at the white powder scattered across the carpet. "look, i'll pay you back. but i couldn't just sit there and watch you destroy your life."
shit.
nat's eyebrows furrowed, watching you look back and forth between him and the owl. "watch me?"
he takes the statue in his hands and throws it down, smashing it on the ground and startling you. he picks up the wireless camera among the debris, holding it up to his face with an agonizing look.
"you were spying on me?" he tilted his head to the side.
"nat-"
"is that what you were doing, you little pervert?"
"i was just trying to protect you!" you lied terribly, digging yourself a deeper grave.
"stop it. how do i- how can i trust you? you're so full of shit!"
nat took a breath, gripping the roots of his hair. "knowing how fucking weird you are, you're probably getting off on this right now."
you didn't even try to protest. nat scoffed, a playful smirk playing on his face.
"you nasty little shit. c'mere." you didn't want to, but you knew nat would make you. you were walking a little too slow for his liking, making him push you up against the counter, your head almost hitting the cabinet behind you.
"you watched me all day, didn't you? i was your own little source of entertainment. watching me and kevyn fuck? i bet you liked that. i know you did." he hissed. "i want you to admit it."
when he got no answer, you weren't expecting a giant slap across the face. "answer me."
"mm- i did like it. seeing you fuck him. i- i wanted it to be me."
there was silence between the two of you before nat spoke again. "you sick little freak."
his words filled with venom and humiliation seemed to get to you, a tear making its way down your cheek. "oh, don't cry now. i thought you wanted this." he got even closer, your noses were almost touching. his hand reached your belt, the buckle as he loosened it, his green eyes staring you down like a hawk.
he felt you squirm, making him hold you firmer in place. once your pants were unbuttoned, he was met with your boner forming a tent in your boxers.
the waistband snapped back before he pulled down, you gasping from the cold air that hit your cock. "natty…"
"god, you're so fucking pathetic." he watched your tdick twitch up every so often from his words. he spit on his hand, coating your dick in it before stroking you.
"yeah… finally getting what you've always wanted. your little cock in my hand." your moans whiny and cracky at his words, trying to rock your hips into him. you sniffed, eyes still teary as the pressure in your stomach blew up like a balloon. "natty, 'm close.."
"aww, you gonna cum for me? gonna make a big mess?" he was so condescending, smiling at the tears streaming down your face. you just nodded, looking up at him with big, glossy eyes. "poor little boy, keeping this in for so long." he pinched your nipple, kissing around the bud. he stopped all of his movements when he heard your final cry, ruining your orgasm.
"what a fucking mess you are." nat looked at your cum stain that dripped onto your boxers. "now get out. and take your fucking camera with you."

MARSTON. ━︎━︎ ZSAKUVA STRICT PROFESSOR !
chapter eight - ❝office hours.❞
← previous chapter: chapter seven - "the forbidden-ness of a fruit." next chapter: chapter nine - "professor green-eyed monster." →
fanfic info / read it on wattpad
SYNOPSIS — In order to get a proper grade for their mended assignment, Y/N has to visit Professor Marston at his office for a more "private" setting.
──────── ✧ ────────
A N D R E W
MY LAST CLASS for the week was over, and I grew irritated for a moment in that lecture. I refused to let it defeat me, but it stuck with me for some reason until I realized the phenomena of modern technology. Is it ever so standardized that students started to grow less invested in their studies each year? It's got to be some kind of shift in society, or it's just the stress university had tolled upon these students?
I trailed off in my sentence about Francesco Petrarca when I saw a couple of students doing the one thing that annoyed most educators.
"The only screen that you all should be looking at right now is the projector behind me. Unless it's for educational purposes, phones off and out of sight," I said. "Now."
The students quickly stashed them away.
Though they are useful in modern society, I don't like to give in to such gadgets. But they're everywhere. I have a phone, and I use it when it's necessary. But today I learned that Chris got a smart watch, and I watched him reply to anyone by speaking into his wrist like he was an secret agent spy. I am in a complete void but also in fascination over how this world became so technological over the years. It's easy to learn about the Bubonic Plague. All you have to do is Google it, but in a time and place where there wasn't a professor and a projector in front of you to learn about it otherwise.
The realization took me when I became a professor at twenty-one. That was when wireless earbuds became a big thing. If he's out there working under a big company that does shady business on the side, I can picture my brother in a Tesla, and I highly doubt the maths professor would invest in one, whereas I would be sitting here with the faint taps of my laptop. If I was handed something more advanced than a smart watch, I doubt I would accept it. This generation wouldn't.
If a student pulled out their phone to record one of my lectures on voice memo, they'd also catch audio of something I'd say off topic, or I'd slip out something problematic or embarrassing. They could pull out their phones and film me without my consent if they wanted to. Hell, they could post it online somewhere for others to see. Comments would be hybrid: my appearance, my teaching, whatever I could be doing in that video is set out there on the Internet - and it stays there.
It's not the modern technology, but the consequences of how we use them. And I'm directly and indirectly contributing to it. That's exactly what I'm worried about. Being caught and capturing it all on a little black screen.
What could I possibly do that'll be caught on camera or audio? My views on a controversial topic perhaps? Or maybe me watching Y/N while they worked at their seat. I can't just dismiss the incidents - or events - like it was nothing. I say that with plurality. I kissed Y/N a week ago, they snuck into my office the week before. Whatever was going on through my head was just out of impulse, and something had ticked for me to breach the ethics of a professor and a student relationship.
I do recall what I had told them just minutes before I let them go. "If you think something will come from this, you're mistaken. This was purely... an overflow of desire. Nothing more." I gave them a week to re-edit their assignment, to remove what they wrote that changed my perspective on them even more, or at least enhanced it.
I checked the time.
"Damn." The department was expecting a email from me by the latest. I quickly clicked the 'compose' tab, adding all the recipients until something popped up on the side of the menu. It was happening again. The email. I reported it as junk last week, but I never thought that they would keep contacting me. Whoever wrote it from my brother's email, it wasn't written like a spam, or bot-like.
Andrew
Don't ignore me. Don't throw out this one shot.
I began to type:
Whoever you are-
I hit the backspace button until the words were taken back and disappeared. I couldn't. I would either be feeding into whatever this person wanted and falling into their trap once I hit them with a response, or I would actually be answering to my brother. I wouldn't know how he would be behaving after all these years. Unless he decided to form a reunion, one of us would get hurt or blackmailed. I know very well it wouldn't be him.
Five knocks on the door, and I cleared my throat and continued typing out the email for the literature department.
"Come in."

Y / N
PROFESSOR MARSTON looks at me through his odd but stylish choice of chained glasses. He had good posture all the while he must be sitting at his desk for hours in between his lectures or after office hours. Whenever I had my independent tutorials with him or came to him for office hours, he'd be sitting right there, and he'd get up from his desk a couple times to stretch or walk around. But when I allowed myself in, he was already sitting at his desk, typing away.
I see his eyes avert a bit at the clock. "Hm. Right on time. If I'd known any better, I'd say you were a bit too eager. Were you waiting outside the door?"
For an eager person, yes. "Maybe."
He chuckled under his breath. "I assume you've brought your amended assignment?" I nodded. He held out his hand. "Give it here." I quickly walked over and handed it over to him. "I'll read it now while you're here."
I stopped. "Now?"
"What? You have more pressing matters to tend to?"
Kind of? I wanted to tell him. Brittany and I go out for dinner almost every Friday.
"I want to make sure that what you've written is appropriate for your grade. I don't want to have the same conversation I've had with you before, although it was the most... memorable, that's for sure." He gestures. "Take a seat."
I sat down, almost rapidly drumming my nails against the arm of the chair.
"Stop fidgeting," Professor Marston said looking up from my paper. I quickly stopped. "Pace around if you really need to I can't stand the tapping."
I might as well to ease the tension. I got up from my seat and began to walk around. I knew Professor Marston's eyes were down at my paper, but I felt them follow me as I started looking at his bookshelves and walls. The last time I was in here, I gave him a gift and saw that sketchy-looking email pop up on his laptop screen. I wonder if he ever got through to it.
"You won something?" I pointed at the award mounted on the wall.
"Hm? The award?"
I nodded.
He replied, still flipping through my paper while grading. "I won the Wolfson History prize a couple of years ago. Soon after graduating university, I published a book on Alastair Crowley. He was quite a... prolific man."
"For best historical writing?" I read.
"History in general has always been a passion of mine," he explains. "Before computers, books gave us knowledge, and when a book is destroyed its knowledge disappears along with it and so does its history. There were times when entire libraries were set on fire to hide the truth - truth that can't be recovered with an undo or refresh. There's something oddly finite about that type of literature."
"I mean, nothing wrong with what we have now," I suggested.
"Of course computers and Internet makes things a lot more easier to store and share, it's one of the reasons why I ask all students to submit their assignments on paper. I think it's an art that will die soon enough along with books."
I walked back to my seat as soon as he lined my papers together, taking out a red pen from his holder and circling the giant 93% written on the last page where the rubric sided. "Okay, you amended what I told you to. Good. I expect that something like that doesn't happen again. If the department head caught wind of what you wrote, I would be the one investigated, you do realize that? It does you no favours."
I sheepishly smiled. "Yeah, you're right. My bad."
"Well your mission was to get my attention. I suppose you succeeded more than you thought you would considering the look you had on your face when you left my class a week ago. I assume that still runs through your mind doesn't it? I haven't been able to forget it." He sets my paper at the front of the desk and got up, approaching me slowly. "When I became a professor, I did it to educate, to give back what my teachers gave to me. I never entertained the thought of being caught up in such a mess with you."
I raised my brows. "Me?"
He hummed. "Only you. I've heard rumours and conversations of other students who find me... attractive. Little remarks here and there whispered behind corners. It happens and it's my duty to ignore their stares." I remembered the first time seeing Professor Marston. He was walking down the west hallway on the second floor, and he was right when he said everyone stares at him. He paid no mind to them. I don't blame them, he really was an attractive young guy. There was no way this guy was faculty, I thought.
I was still figuring out where my classes were. As soon as I found the lecture hall I walked in, and there he was, still settling down at the front, but where the professors were supposed to be. He looked up at me and gave me a studied look. We were both five minutes early.
"In a few years time they'll probably look back and think of it as nothing but an embarrassing crush they'll tell during a game of truth or dare. It can't be helped but I can't add more fuel to the fire. I can't give them hope. You on the other hand have proved a challenge. I admit that when I read your statement for the first time, I hardly believed it. But there it was, plain as day. I thought it was a prank at first until we had our... talk. Did you keep it to yourself?"
I nodded. I've lied to so many professors, strictly based on assignments when it's often half-assed. I could lie to Professor Marston, but of course, there wasn't any point in doing that. I didn't mention that afternoon talk to Brittany. She was always ahead of herself and tells the first person she sees.
"Good, you know how quickly rumours spread, and I doubt you want to get caught in the middle of them. You started all of this, after all. Do you not regret it?"
I pressed myself against his chest and lifted my height just a bit to reach his lips. He obliged.
Unless this man has kissed other students that I do not about, (and if I ever knew about it, I'm spilling his tea on his laptop) I have him for now. And no, I do not regret a single fucking thing.
Professor Marston chuckles a bit. "I guess not. I'll be honest: I don't, either."
I was glad we were both on the same page.
Professor Marston walked over to lock the door. "My teaching hours are finished now. Why do you think I asked you to come at this time? Your class finished over an hour ago, the students who needed to come here have. So now, it's just you and I. I'll reply to any emails at a later point. For now, only you have my attention. I remember what I said before and believe me, I understand what you're feeling because I share it too."
"Tell me, then."
"You don't want to know what I feel."
"After all I've done? I feel like I deserve to know at this point."
"Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Fine. When I saw you for the first time I knew there was something different there. I just couldn't quite work it out, so truthfully I had an interest in you from the very beginning."
That gave me a boost of hope. I always had a feeling Professor Marston did think about me from time to time, but there were others who wanted the same thing as me. I give myself credit for overdoing the attention giving than the rest of the students here. Plus I gave him his favourite chocolates. I guess I do win.
"I always thought you were a gifted student. You made it past the first year unscathed. You've had so much potential."
He wasn't wrong, but something wasn't quite right about that statement. I did make it past the first year, and first year always starts off with either calm waters or an absolute shit-storm. My best way to describe is my brain being like a TV constantly fixated on multiple channels, as much as I try to lower the volume, close all of them or even just try to fixate on one program, I can't find the remote. It's either in a tornado, and another day it doesn't acknowledge or process what I want to process and then I'm overwhelmed. I'm lucky I was fuelled enough to not fail a class.
It's that, plus my idealized and internalized anger towards this world. Professor Marston just so happens to distract me from that, even though that was not his job.
"I guess," I shrugged.
"You were always one of the first to come into class and one of the last to leave. Soon enough I found my gaze following, studying, how you dressed on certain days depending on weather or colour or accessories. You know when to stand out and when to hide. It wasn't until after I kept you behind last week that I realized what it really was. Perhaps it wasn't purely desire but infatuation. You have a light that your peers don't. You carry it in your eyes. They're rather beautiful, actually. So clear, focused. They could have been looking at any other person. I should have known but I ignored it. I assumed the essay was a last ditch effort to get my attention... and it worked." Other than the gift, it really was. He leans in and kisses me, almost like the first time we did that it felt so powerful.
"There's no classes I have to teach today. So, it all depends on how much time you're willing to give me-"
"All of it," I shrug.
Professor laughed. I twitched a bit when he brushes his hand over mine. "All of it is a little, uh, excessive though I admire your candor. So the marks I promised I'd give - have you prepared yourself for them?" He sat back down at his desk.
I look at him puzzled. "O-oh?"
"What sort of marks did you think I meant?"
I gave him a look. He did say he "won't hold back the marks he'd give" me. I thought about a completely different thing...
"Ah such an interesting mind you have. I'm glad you picked up on it, though you should know that there's not much I can do to sate your imagination. Come, what is it you want? Speak plainly."
"I want you to kiss me again." I walk over to him where he sat.
"Hmm... well that is plain, isn't it? You hardly manage to take the last ones, you think you'll be able to now?" He really was trying to tease me. I nodded slowly. "You really have been waiting patiently, haven't you? Your eyes are glazed over already. Then lean down."
If I were to be more naive, I wouldn't have done so. But I'm not. Slowly, I felt him pulling me closer to him.
"I can already feel you trembling a little. Are you trying to hold yourself back? Well some of the others on this floor don't go home until at least eight and right now it's," he glances at his watch. "Just gone six. And two hours is a long time to wait. I don't think you want me as a partner. Even though this is a university and legally there's no laws against it, it's unethical. It's not that I don't want things to continue, all I want to do right now is kiss you more. But there are boundaries to consider."
I never imagined I'd be caught up in such a scandal with this guy. But not that anyone needed to know...
"I know," I tell him.
"We give in to whatever this is and then what?" He says to me. "Keep meeting in secret in my office? Where is that going to end up? Thinking of what the future will be is redundant. Enjoy the present and what fruit it bears, and right now, you are what has been given... and I shall gladly take it."
He gladly took it. But does he want me? What do I want? To have this man all to myself to selfishly boast that other students couldn't have him? It wasn't like he was put here up for grabs. He's here to teach and grade, I'm here to learn and move on when I graduate.
"Lean into me if you can't stand."
I did so, and he pulls me closer to him, but never held me when we kissed again. I should tell Brittany some day some how. She's never kept anything from me, ever. I can't do that. She would find out. I've walked in on her making out with someone before, and it was a student possibly in their final year. It turned out they didn't graduate on time. And it turned out it was someone I knew.
"As much as I want to hear your voice," he whispers against my lips. "You have to hold it in."
We kept kissing. Even though nothing was wrong, my ears felt like they were ringing. My brain was starting to fog up, and I couldn't imagine this office as an office anymore. It felt like a placeholder for something sinister out that door. I pull away. I hear Professor Marston say something to me, but it was muffled and I clearly couldn't process it. I didn't know what it was that just happened, but if I continued, I'd black out.
I got up as he straightens his posture. "I'll send over your assignment grade over the weekend, and I'm warning you now: if you pull another stunt with your next assignment, I'm failing you without question. But if you do need to discuss some theories, then you know where to find me. After hours... and when you are ready. Understood?"
I nodded. "Got it."
"Good."
I grabbed my bag from the chair and turned to the door.
"Your extra credit will be considered," I hear him say from his desk. "Get home safe."
I exhaled long enough that my chest didn't feel as heavy but lifeless, something I realized I haven't done much of it to ease my breathing after being with that man for a bit, and kissing him for what seemed like a rush of dopamine to sudden dissociation.
I closed the door and rushed home for dinner, thinking about Brittany.

Last Monday of the Week 2025-05-26
You must believe that it will go on forever
Listening: Listened to the soundtrack from The People's Joker, which you can roughly find here
There are a lot of bangers in this one but I do think I have to put down Back of the Truck
youtube
You should definitely watch The People's Joker it is a truly incredible piece of art. It is literally the only piece of Batman media I have ever consumed start to finish.
Reading: A bunch of scattered articles on ocean plastic in an attempt to better understand some of the claims made in a book I read a while ago, still piecing those together.
Also a lot of electronics part specs because I'm trying to do another PCB project and I am in the hell that is finding parts that are cheap, in stock, and well documented. This is a fight you can win but it involves giving up the part of yourself that doesn't understand how Molex names their parts.
Watching: Watched Les Barbouzes/The Great Spy Chase, a French spy comedy film from the 60's where the conceit is "what if five different countries sent their spies to recover some valuable documents at the same time and they all had to play nice while trying to get one over on each other.
It's very funny! Genuinely some incredible comedy in this movie, but also, Le Racisme! Le Racisme is relatively limited and you should still probably watch this.
In addition to this, at bad movie night Rollergator, a movie by a director who has featured here before when he did Legend of the Rollerblade Seven which is the worst movie we've ever run at Bad Movie Night. Rollergator is about a girl who finds a tiny purple gator puppet who raps and also does one Le Racisme (American) when he does impressions as a bit.
The director of these movies (Donald G. Jackson) Made a like million dollars on one movie and then pioneered the concept he called "Zen Filmmaking" which is when you don't write a script and just wander around easily accessible sets freestyling it. The movies he produces are both unwatchably bad and have negative production value, with untraceable plots, inaudible audio, and pointless dialogue. I cannot really recommend that you watch this one.
Playing: A few more levels of Skin Deep, in part because my partner wanted to see it. Playing or talking video games around them (and a few of my other friends) is funny because it makes me feel like the Video Game Ulysses Ogre. I'm all "Aaaah ogre so stupid ogre can only just make use of smoke grenades, ogre not even begin to correctly employ jiggle peeking" meanwhile they're like "yeah I get frustrated at Arkham Asylum on easy."
Also more Echo Point Nova which is rapidly becoming one of my favourite shooters. I feel like I'm not doing myself any favours refusing to use a controller here, aim assist would probably be great, but I am getting shockingly good at playing Clay Pigeon on the hoverboard guys with my shotgun.
Making: 3D printed speaker stands for my PC speakers, which need some work or maybe just some cleverer design to prevent them from leaning way forwards. Still working on it. Continuing to fiddle with various designs for my new desk setup.
Tools and Equipment: I finally bought some noise cancelling wireless earphones and they are kind of killer for the metro. I have previously worn earplugs on the metro but they are way more inconvenient. I have known how good ANC is for a long time but it really cannot be overstated how nice it is to be able to a) listen to music on the metro without blowing your eardrums out and b) just suppress ambient noise for a bit. Sometimes I've been throwing them in if I want to keep listening to a podcast while I boil the kettle or turn on the microwave.
These are the new CMF Buds 2 which were like USD 50-ish? I'm sure if you get a new Sony it's better and these definitely struggle with more variable, less monotonous noises, but they're great for the price.
