Went with his perfect form because I feel like it’s the most iconic. But yeah, I love dragon ball! I have fond memories of watching masakoX’s what-if stories and tfs’s abridged series along with their playthroughs of xenoverse.

Here’s my ranking of every (current) installment so far

I think every installment has something good to offer but this is just my personal ranking! SSJG and SSJ3 are my favorite forms btw! Wrath of the dragon is my favorite Z film and Rez F was my favorite super film, Bulma and Krillin are my favorites (I also like goku & vegeta but c’mon who doesn’t like goku & vegeta?)

Anyway I gotta stop talking otherwise we’ll be here forever about my opinions and favorites, here’s the witch!

I haven't watched either GT or Super so take this opinion as the most useless an opinion can be but the reason why SSJ4 feels so much cooler than SSJGSSJ is that the former is a genuinely unique step up from "how do we convey that these transformations are an evolution of the saiyajin and stronger than everything we've seen before" but the latter looks like if you were playing a Metroid game where Samus starts out with endgame equipment from the first game, so now you need new endgame equipment that does the exact same thing but in a different color. it looks like they didn't want to animate the fire from SSJG's transformation anymore so they just dyed their hair blue. it looks like a joke someone said during Resurrection F's production that no one wanted to check if it was sincere so they kept it forever

Dragon Ball Super rant (wow shocker)

Of all the things I can complain about when it comes to DB Super, this is the one that bothers me the most. At the end of every episode it gives you a teaser for the next but it spoils HUGE things. It's spoiled the intro to ssjg and ssjb (I think thats their abbreviations-), so many things in the Goku Black saga, and don't even get me started on the intro to UI, Kefla, and the entire ToP, its SO FRUSTRATINGG.

Have I watched it multiple times and know everything that happens? Yes. Does it still bug me? YES. I don't even know why it still does-

My first time watching it again after a while I remembered bits and pieces but the spoilers they give absolutely ruins it. I usually skip over them when I remember too but like c'mon :(

(As much as I complain I absolutely love all of Dragon Ball I just gotta get these rants out of my mind and written down lol)

yeah whatever happened to "its all thanks to the friends we made along the way" 🤨 its always "im going to improve my own self and be a hero! Look at my new transformation!" like whatever happened to collective action. Shounen anime 30+ years old that's what.

i guess you can argue that fusion / the teamwork angle that dbs is kind of going in sort of goes against this individualism though. But its kind of being shoehorned in. like beginning of super gokus like "It sure sucks that i became ssjg through support from other people! i wish i did it myself, because somehow this is more authentic and fulfilling to me" but NOW dbs is all like "goku and vegeta you need to work TOGETHER to defeat enemies. Just look at Jiren, he was so individualistthat he fucking died or lost or whatever"
