Your words sink beneath the surface, landing on his sternum. He slumps forward a bit, forehead coming to rest on your shoulder, the skin still tingling with the new brand of your lips.

An explanation of what Levi’s gesture towards Hange Really meant, and how Isayama parallels other AOT media, (ex: smartpass stories and ACWNR), to his manga. 📚🦋🪲

Similar to Nile, Levi does an “unthinkable” move of publicly dedicating His and Hange’s heart’s together. He purposely does it wrong by putting His Left Fist (ring finger 💍) on Hange’s heart and says the famous scout motto, which was the first time he’s “ever said that.” Because Levi and Hange both 'proposed', Levi's gesture towards Hange seals their relationship. (Marriage):

ingredient: almond flower -- so it LOOKS like a sakura flower but it's not hehe, and the reason i like it for haruix more than the sakura flower is because traditional cherry blossoms are a bit sweeter, a bit more feminine (a lot of ppl actually associate the smell of like gardenias and peonies with "sakura" bc ppl just don't know how actual raw ingredients smell lol), but the almond flower is a bit more warm and grounded -- it's still light, and definitely floral, but with less of that signature "flowery" sweetness. and i think that fits both haruka and you better, not that there isn't sweetness (bc there def is) but just that a flower doesn't necessarily have to smell super sweet to still be considered beautiful/worthy of being called a flower.

fragrance: flying by maison margiela -- i love this fragrance for you guys because it's not actually a floral -- it's almost for a masculine lean to it, from the citrus top to the woody base, but there's also this wash of like an "ocean breeze" kind of marine accord that gives it a slightly "salty" vibe that i think works so, so well for haruka has a character bc there's so much hidden trauma that he's suffered, but i think that you love him all the more bc you can see that in him (and he can see it in you too, i think), and it's the scars that make the person all the more beautiful. this fragrance is light, but it's long-lasting, it lingers on the skin from the musk, and the neroli and moss makes it so that it tends to grow on the skin, and build with your body's natural heat, which i think is an apt metaphor for haruix as well u_u

inspiration: gosh i just adoreeee haruix as a ship!!! and i love that the fragrance is called "dream: flying" because i think of both those things when i imagine haruix, right like -- him learning closeness through you, and i think haruka is the type of person who had never before thought about being loved like this (bc he hadn't even thought of having real friends before), and then to find you, to love and be loved by you, it would be a dream, and it would feel like flying. and on the other end, i think that being with him would make you bloom, and seeing your own love reflected in him would only make your relationship that much stronger <3

But I was imagining his snake form to be fucking giant like the Opening Eyes Snake (Me ga Sameru Hebi) that appeared in front of Takane/Ene when she first became Ene.

KuroEne Scenario Idea (NSFW)

Ok so with the video of his voice up above in the post, I wanted to bring up my KuroEne scenario ideas

Ok I'm gonna make a NSFW~ish comment but uh with this mf being like THIS. With the whole, "Yes… That expression of yours… It's wonderful! Lovely, indeed, isn't that right?"

I was imagining a scenario where KuroEne are being intimate and Ene feels tears pricking her eyes from the pleasure, and Kuroha notices and just leans in and licks up the trail running down her face.

(He does this with drool and with their fluids after they finish, too)

When they finish, Kuroha reaches out and runs his finger through the mixture of their fluids and teasingly brings it up to his mouth to taste, both out of curiosity and because he wants to see Ene's flustered reactions, and Ene goes like, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?!? THAT'S DIRTY!?" ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

And Kuroha just goes like, "Don't be so surprised~ I want to savour this, after all."

Other Rambles

I just had a realization tho. In the KagePro manga, Saeru tells Azami that she would've never gotten betrayed if she didn't get involved with humans in the first place, and she asserts that her late husband Tsukihiko never betrayed her. Saeru then goes like, "Well, it matters little now, does it?"

Like it just made me think about in the context of a Kuroha ship AU, he feels confident and "secure" because he is ultimately the one in control in their relationship, and the one that holds power (ie. power over knowledge, and power in physical strength)

Like the power imbalance is overwhelmingly in his favour.

The fact that the power imbalance exists isn't inherently a bad thing, it just means you have to tread carefully with depicting his ships.

With KuroEne, I try to balance out the relationship as much as possible by making Ene more assertive and dominant in the ship too. I think it'd be fun for them to switch bedroom roles to spice up their "games" (trysts)

He directly manipulates the outcomes of events in Routes. And due to the nature of the body he uses (Konoha's body), there's no way his partner would be able to overthrow him or backstab him or whatever.

I was just thinking about this but for Kuroha, Ene is the type that is REALLY easy to read and be able to tell or have an idea of what she’s thinking, especially via her expressions. Like she really is the type whose heart ends up showing on her sleeve and giving her away

Just in general, Marry, strengthened by more Snakes, is the only one that would actually be able to do something to him physically, since she is the Master and Queen of all the Eye Ability Snakes.

Context

Since I showed a scene from MCA, I'll just sum this up quickly in case any of my non-KagePro mutuals need it

In the very beginning, the Snake of Clearing Eyes (Saeru) is created out of the medusa, Azami's first and strongest desire to understand who she was. Saeru exists even before the creation of the world.

The Snake of Combining Eyes (the Queen Snake) is created by Azami's desire to have a place to understand who she is. Thus, at the beginning of every new Route, Azami ends up (unintentionally) creating the world with Combining Eyes.

At some point, she ends up settling down and having a family with her husband Tsukihiko, and has a half-Medusa, half-human child, Shion. Saeru views Azami's love for her family as foolish.

Saeru detests the world for changing Azami's wish from wanting to know who she was, to wanting to be with her family forever, so it devises a scheme to "destroy" and rewind the world.

Because once Azami developed a strong love for her family, Saeru, as her servant, and her original wish (the one that created him in the first place), were left behind and forgotten.

He felt that the desire that gave his life meaning was being thrown away and also worried that he'd lose his sentience if that desire faded away. When Azami despaired over outliving her family, Saeru approached Azami with the proposal to create the Kagerou Daze, a never-ending world so that she and her family could live in.

Azami proposed the idea to her family, but eventually ends up going into the Kagerou Daze alone after her family was targeted. She believed she was bringing misfortune to her family cuz humans inherently feared her as a Medusa

Centuries later, Azami witnesses her daughter Shion and granddaughter Marry's deaths by humans in the real world, and orders the Kagerou Daze to swallow them up to save their lives. Both Marry and Shion are only compatible with the Queen Snake, so she can only save one of them.

She gives Marry the Snake of Combining Eyes (Queen Snake) so she could return to the real world, but loses control of the Kagerou Daze after doing this since the Queen Snake was needed to control the Kagerou Daze and control all other snakes.

So now the Kagerou Daze repeats her last order - swallow them up and give them new life. It will swallow anyone who dies on August 15th, the same day that Shion and Marry died.

All of this aligns with what Saeru wanted - he tricked her into trapping herself into the Kagerou Daze, a place where time doesn't flow. Azami's Kagerou Daze basically appears as hell to her.

His eyelids flutter closed when Arsen runs the pad of his thumb over Eddie’s lower lip, so dangerously close that Eddie could suck it into his mouth, scrape his teeth across the swirl and loop patterns. Arsen’s thumb trails down his chin, joining the other digits in sweeping along his jawline, following the curve of his neck, and skimming over the collar of his fitted black tee.  Arsen moves in a slow circle around him, maintaining contact over the ridges of his spine, lightly pressing down the v of his collarbone only to repeat the motion up the other half, a tingling, fizzing line of sparks left in its wake. One hand settles on each shoulder, giving him a split second to register the solid weight behind him before both palms slide over his biceps, forearms, his wrists until their hands overlap and their fingers could easily tangle together.  Arsen releases a breathy sigh next to the shell of Eddie’s ear, his lips ghosting along the sensitive skin there before his hands sweep inward, grazing close to Eddie’s belt buckle, dragging up his ribs and pecs.  Eddie bites his lip to keep from whimpering. Everywhere Arsen touches feels foreign, new. As if Eddie’s reverted to a hormone driven teenager that’s never intimately come in contact with another human in his life. It’s electric and torturous, making him squirm with the desire to reciprocate. He doesn’t even know how, but he aches to be given a chance. Thinks his body has some innate set of instructions that could take over as long as he didn’t pause to think or be self conscious about how none of this is familiar, yet feels too natural not to be.

I think using a screentone looks best with my art style

Also I did the screentones really quickly so it's messy. I was just curious how it'd look

Cuz my art style has really thickly lined eyelashes so it just won't look good if they're not visible (especially with the snake skin scales being pitch black)

I also tested putting outlined white lines around the eyelashes. I'm just worried it might look too distracting...

thank you very kindly @hushed-chorus for tagging me bright and early today, it's seven o'clock for me and i am so fucking delighted to have started my day with SELKIE SIMON! 😭💞 and a big thank you to everyone who tagged me on Sunday, too, 'cause altho i didn't participate in SSS (🐍) myself this week, i really do love seeing what y'all are working on.

how many of y'all signed up for COTTA? 😄 i know posting isn't until September iirc, but i'm stuuupidly excited for it. i thought about signing up myself (and even went as far as to rough up a 1 000 word outline for a fic for it on Friday lmfao) but i feel a bit too nervous, i think. n e way, since Without Sun is still in that ✨ spoiler zone ✨ and very close to being finished, i thought i'd share a snippet from a different WIP today instead. it is a veryyy tropey 5+1 Things fic called Wonderful Life that follows Baz's POV from fifth through eighth year. 🫥

Moonlight pools across the shallow valley of Snow’s stomach. It fades softly from green back to blue as the silencing spell on the room wears out—not a second too soon—leaving the darkness behind chalky and thin. Baz isn’t sure what he was expecting. An explosion, he supposes. For Snow to go off like an H-bomb. All heat and fire and flat, blackening waves of power, so much power. The Power. Spilling out of him like he’s a cup left under a waterfall. Like he did during their fight with the chimaera at the start of the year. But Snow wakes sluggishly, moves slowly. Stares at Baz with dim, blinky blue eyes as he wipes the sweat from his chin and props himself up against his headboard. He draws a long breath in. Then, “You woke me up.” It isn’t a question. “You were having a nightmare.” “I always have nightmares,” Snow says, and his voice is tender and husky from sleep and strain. He furrows his nose. “What do you care?” Baz rubs his palms against the tops of his thighs, trying to press into the coolness of his own skin through the smooth Mulberry silk of his pyjamas. He can still feel Snow’s warmth in his fingertips. A clingy, feverish spiderweb. “I don’t,” he replies waspishly, “but I couldn’t very well sleep with you making a fuss all night, could I? You’ve been screaming. You should be grateful I didn’t choose to spell your tongue off instead.” “Oh.”  Snow lifts a hand to his forehead, probably looking for innocent curls to abuse. He’s always messing with them. Fluffing them up, combing them out. Pulling and tugging and twisting. His hair is always a bird’s nest by the end of the day, every spiral frayed apart like a thread of broken yarn. He thumbs at the centimetre-or-so of brownish fuzz above his temple. Baz wishes Snow looked bad with his head shaved, that his skull was a funny shape or something, but he doesn’t. He just looks like a boy. Younger, maybe. More like he did when they were eleven. (And it draws attention to the way his ears curve out a bit at the top.) (It’s frustratingly cute.)
