This. This so much. Not to derail, but this also applies to some altersex and intersex people.

People who don't fall into your typical gender or sex binary do have options. Aside from HRT, there's plenty you can choose medically or with body modifications!

Tracheal shaves can minimize an Adam's apple. Feminizing laryngoplasties can make your voice higher.

In terms of your chest, you can have a a breast lift/mastopexy, breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastectomy, areola reduction, nipple reduction, nipple excision, or nipple [re]construction.

In terms of your reproductive organs, you can have a vastectomy, tubal ligation, gonadectomy (oophorectomy or orchiectomy), hysterectomy, trachelectomy, or prostatectomy.

In terms of your genitals, you can choose a penis split (meatotomy, subincision, or genital bisection), urethroplasty, perineal urethrostomy, circumcision or dorsal slit/ventril slit, hoodectomy, labiaplasty, labia stretching, vulvectomy, (voluntary) infibulation, vaginectomy, vulvoplasty or vaginoplasty, phallus-preserving vulvoplasty/vaginoplasty, clitoroidectomy, clitoroplasty, metoidioplasty (with or without a scrotoplasty or urethral lengthening), phalloplasty (with or without a glansplasty or urethral lengthening), scrotoplasty, penectomy, genital nullification, or genital beading.

And there are other potential procedures, such as hymen [re]construction (if you have a damaged or stretched hymen), a hymenotomy (if you have a hymenal intersex variation), a hysteroplasty (if you have a bicornuate uterus, septate uterus, or uterus didelphys), and cervical [re]construction if you have a damaged cervix or a cervical intersex variation.

I know that HRT gives you secondary sex characteristics in one direction or another, but we HAVE to stop telling nonbinary people that they “can’t pick and choose.” Of course, you can’t tell your testosterone that you’d rather not grow chest hair, but there are things you can do!

You could go on T so your voice drops and start shaving so you don’t grow a beard. You could start HRT and then stop once you get the permanent changes you like. You can pursue sterilization instead of bottom surgery. You can get top surgery without being on T. You can go on E and work out a bunch to bulk out your muscles. You can pursue laser hair removal or electrolysis to remove unwanted hair, with or without HRT. You could even just start hormones to see if you like it and then stop if it isn’t to your taste.

Obviously, you can’t order secondary sex characteristics a la carte, but we have to stop being so awful to nonbinary people. We should discuss the options we have, not shut down the conversation with “that’s what you get.”

Aliamoric ★ ❭ Nonbinary people who are exclusively attracted to other nonbinary people.

Ceteramoric (Teramoric) ★ ❭ A nonbinary and/or genderqueer individual who is exclusively attracted to other nonbinary and/or genderqueer individuals.

Diamoric ★ ❭ Term used by some nonbinary individuals to describe their orientation, which does not fit into the similar/opposite gender attraction dichotomy due to being a uniquely nonbinary experience.

Enbian ★ ❭ Refers to nonbinary individuals attracted to nonbinary individuals. One may or may not be attracted to other genders as well.

Mestric ★ ❭ An umbrella term that includes any relationship, attraction, orientation, or partnership that includes nonbinary individual(s), and all those that cannot be categorised according to a same-gender vs. opposite gender dichotomy.

Neutric ★ ❭ An neutrois individual who is attracted to other neutrois individuals. This attraction can be exclusive or not.

Unrelated to my previous post, I'm about to get really salty here. I hate that comments aren't allowed on the pages for the LGBTQIA Wiki. SO MANY of their definitions are just... wrong. People are just making shit up.

Stellarian, going off of its original intended definition, refers to an unaligned nonbinary person or someone who rejects such alignment. Stellarians are also called stellar nonbinary people. That's really nice! I like it a lot! The fucking wiki page here for that term threw in "however they still feel gendered and on a similar "plane" as male and female." WHERE is the source?? The original coining post isn't even included on that page and there are no sources for any components of stellarian's definition on the page. The sources at the bottom are literally just flags.

polarisian: describes someone who is neutral-aligned. this includes partially gender neutral people, those who are connected to gender neutrality (with or without actually being a neutral gender), someone whose gender experiences are similar to gender neutral people, etc.

keplerian: describes someone who is unaligned (or nonaligned). this includes partially unaligned people, those who are connected to unalignment (with or without actually being unaligned), someone whose gender experiences are similar to unaligned people, etc.

subsets of stellarian for anon! siriusian is based on sirius, a blue star, polarisian is based on polaris, a yellow star, and keplerian is based on kepler's supernova!

like my lunarian and solarian subsets, i wanted the colors of these flags to be adjacent to the stellarian flag and look like if you combined them, they'd made the stellarian flag. the first two flags are 'split' into yellow-green and blue (which don't really combined to the stellarian green but oh well) and the third has darkened, desaturated versions of the stellarian greens to represent unalignment/nonalignment.

I deeply dislike that paragender has the wrong definition now and it's affecting demigender's definition in some people's eyes. Here's a screenshot from where paragender was coined and what I think it should mean:

So I get where the current system of 1-50% is demigender, 51-100% is paragender comes from, because para is near. But I never saw it as that. Demigender is when you're partially a given gender identity. Can be any %. Paragender is when your gender is adjacent to, similar to, or close to being that identity, but isn't. This could include demigender people who are a majority that gender (especially those who are very close, like 80-99%) but it can ALSO include people who are proxvir and juxera. Solarians, lunarians, and stellarians. Nonbinary men and women, and xenoboys and xenogirls who feel like they aren't quite binary but they're very close. Where a demigender person will always feel like they are partially that identity, a paragender person may not feel like it at all, but rather something close to it. Where a demigender persn would feel like only part of their gender is that identity, while the rest is something else (often agender but can be anything), a paragender person may feel like they are one singular full gender, and that gender is slightly to the left of being the named identity.

I think this way of defining is better because it is a bit more vague, so it doesn't have to exclude people using the % system - being 51%-99% a given gender CAN make you feel like you're adjacent to or close to that identity but not quite. But this way of defining would also include more people under demi- and paragender. And I think it gives the two identities more diffence in their concept and what sort of vibe they would have, while still including the possibility of overlap.

On top of that, Libragender isn't a defined % either, it's more like being agender but aligned or with trace amounts of gender. I think it would be like oriented aroace a little bit, or like para-oriented. So it could mean:

1. As used by some, a low % of gender, faint gender, or very weak feelings of being a given gender. Or, being partially a certain gender, but vast majority of yourself is agender, in other words.

2. You do not identify as any gender, but your presentation, preferred pronouns, current body, if and how you want to transition, and anything else is aligned in some way, so that is important to you and your identity (ex, AMAB agender who wants to take estrogen and grow out their hair feels librafeminine because they are transfem, despite not identifying as a girl)

3. You have no gender, but feel as if your nothingness itself is somehow aligned. It could be similar to 2, but those factors influencing your sense of gender alignment despite there being no gender, it could feel like an absence of a specific identity despite being the absence of all, or an expression of "there is no gender, BUT if there WAS, it would be this."

These are both librapurple. I could only do 2 images because I'm on mobile and couldn't think of anymore anyways. As said before not the only ways but they're both different ways.

I know I'm part of the community that doesn't care a lot about definitions but I actually do care. I think that definitions are important, and that even though it shouldn't be the end all be all of policing people's individual identities, the definition is an important guide, and I think libra and para have both been lost in translation. I think this revision restores the original meanings and intentions, explains them better, and is more inclusive and subjective experience-based. Including possibility of overlap while also retaining more distinct-ness from one another, just in terms of idea and concept.

I coined some new plurientations:

Inaequilic - a system where members are predominantly attracted or not attracted to different genders, gender alignments or gender modalities from one another, and/or in different ways.

There does not feel like a correlation, unity or theme in the genders, gender alignments or gender modalities that headmates in a collective are attracted to, and/or how they experience attraction.

Can be also used by plural non-systems, in any way they see fit.

Example: a system of 4, 1 is attracted to women and lunarians only, 1 is attracted to stellarian nonbinary people, 1 is attracted to men and solarians only and 1 is aroace (non-oriented)

Inaespec - any plural or system on the Inaequilic spectrum; from collectives and plurals who feel Inaequillic defines them completely, to those who feels it applies to them only very little. To be used similarly to how aro/arospec is used.
