Being halfway out of the closet is so weird cause like.

To my dad, I’m a girl. To my sister, I’m a nonbinary man (as in like. Man is the closest shorthand but not exactly right). To people at work I’m mostly a girl except with one guy, to whom I’m a Not Girl but he doesn’t know any more than that. To people at school I am mostly a girl, sometimes a man if I’m lucky, rarely a nonbinary man. To my brothers I’m a girl who jokes about being a guy. To my dnd group I’m mostly a not-girl-but-we’re-not-exactly-sure-if-they’re-a-man. To my mom I’m just a big question mark in terms of gender. To my best friend I’m a nonbinary man as well.

It’s also weird when two groups of people that know me meet each other, cause I have to brief the group that knows more on how much the other group knows. People like my sister have to constantly switch how they refer to me. It’s a mess.

dad: ...it's really just another chore, you look in the mirror and go 'ugh I have to shave soon' so it's just one of those things you do every once in a while

me, internally: he's talking about this like it's no big deal, it's not weird at all,,, he doesn't mind the idea of teaching me despite the fact that he never expected to be doing this with me,,,, he's my dad and he supports me even if he doesn't completely get it,,,

Actually my worth isn't determined by how I look. No, I'm not a trans poster child who is gonna get hundreds of likes for a selfie but that's not why I transitioned. You have no idea how good it is to be able to go "Woah who is that guy in the mirror?? Oh yeah, it's me!" not because I'm a hunk but because I'm finally ME.

there is no shame in being a queer man. there is no shame in being a femme, a butch, a bear, a twink, etc. there is no shame in doing drag. there is no shame in being an intersex, trans, gnc, or nonbinary man. there is no shame in having sex traits that are deemed "female" as a man, or lacking one's deemed "male." there is no shame in not feeling attraction as a man. there is no shame in having multiple partners as a man. there is no shame in being gay, lesbian, or multisexual as a man. the list goes on and on.

all queer manhood is beautiful. all queer manhood deserves celebrating and visibility and protecting. there is so much joy and freedom inside us, and our existence makes the world a better place. we are not shameful - not in the slightest.

I’m curious how many people wear a binder &/or wear a packer. Always = daily or almost daily, often = around half the time, & never = not at all or almost never. Pick whichever option is closest to your experiences.

If you have had top &/or bottom surgery choose the option that reflects what you did before surgery. People with a more complex experience of gender (genderfluid, multigender, butch, etc.) that affects their desire to bind or pack feel free to elaborate on that in the tags.

Just playing around with graphics again, using flags that represent me to test out how these look. They're... very simple. But they're very YB3 aesthetically.

I used some of my own redesigns for the flags because some of the softer colors give me a lot of euphoria. "Soft" is definitely gender.

In short, it can be described as NBLM (nonbinary loving men)
