Back in 2020, I played Strangetown with a twist and moved everyone to a Fallout-esque vault. It was a fun concept, I might make something with it again. Perhaps I could add townies for more variety and make more than one vault.

Always have no-unlink on deleted in your download folder for avoid unlinked character data and use the Urnstone Spawner for respawn manually the tombstones if the HC fail to recover them.

Paraiso En Las Rocas (If I can, I would also recommend to download the empty version (or populated, if you don't mind mixing up premades and OCs) of Paraiso En El Mar, because I think they complement each other. PEEM has so many gorgeous community lots! You can use PEEM as Main and PELR as subhood or do the opposite. Personally I would fill the empty version of PEEM with the DV, RVH and BC premades (or just choose some of them) since PELR has all the PV, ST and VV premades + one from BWV)

Been sorting out my Sims 2 hood pairings:
🌳 Pleasantview (PV) – using @strangetomato's PV with a twist, paired with Sim State University (SSU), Downtown (DT), and Bluewater Village (BV).
🛸 Strangetown (ST) – @chrisnewbie's PSP version, linked with La Fiesta Tech (LFT), Viper Canyon (VC), and Desiderata Valley (DV) using @katatty's DV makeover.
🎭 Veronaville (VV) – paired with Academie Le Tour (ALT), Belladonna Cove (BC), and Riverblossom Hills (RH) with @katatty's RH makeover.
All hoods include all vacation destinations obviously. I also plan to use @katatty's DT and uni hood makeovers in the future.

Make the Most of It

Roo boarded a busy bus after an outing with Rylan, and Roo knew the trip was going to be a long one and fell asleep. After sometime, an aching worry creeped into his stomach and began waking him up, and all it took was a gust of summer wind, and an acrid smell of oil to fully wake him up, which was just in time to read his unexpected welcome into Strangetown. Like most people, he inched towards the front to ask the bus driver where in god's name he was, but... there was no bus driver! Who was driving the bus? Where did everyone AND the bus driver go? How did they get here? How long had Roo been asleep? So many questions and all left unanswered as he departed the bus. Curiously, he approached the front door of a home nearby, where he saw a sign that said "This home is now property of Roo Norman," and although he was incredibly stressed and worried, the harsh wind gave him a feeling... He knew he was gonna be here for a long time... So with a free home, sparse money to his name and practically a new life, Roo figured it was best to make the most of this unexpected "vacation"...
Make the Most of It (MtMoi) is a Sims 2 Rotational Save/Series set in Strangetown, of course with a twist as Roo enters the Sims 2 ring and rotation pool. - -

Types of Posts I'm gonna try and do a couple different type of posts; -Main posts will have more effort/editing put into them and are more than likely to be of Roo. -Side posts are going to have less effort, and will be where I post little tidbits and/or wrap-ups of a rotation I'm still debating how I wanna do this as I do wanna make Main posts centered around other sims but idk... 🤔 Post Schedule I'm really bad at scheduling posts im gonna be honest 😪 Taking how back-n-forth my burnout/motivation bursts can be into consideration, I'm gonna shoot for once or twice a week with the main posts/roo updates, and once a week with the side posts/rotation updates Side post posting frequency may differ depending on how often I play

This Sims 4 save reimagines iconic characters from The Sims 1, 2, and 3—giving you the chance to explore alternate outcomes and rewrite their stories. Bella Goth’s abduction? Olive Specter’s dead body count? Glarn Curious and Kitty’s chaotic family tree? It’s all up to you.
Hi, I’m @nikinsimland 👋 This is my ongoing, lore-heavy legacy save combining Pleasantview, Strangetown, and Veronaville into one big, messy SimNation. I’ve traced family lines back a few generations to build out the backstories of beloved (and sometimes forgotten) sims. I've also added some fun little twists & added some of my own lore, and I’m sharing each household’s story as I go! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 When possible, I used CAS genetics to create sim parents and ancestors—for example, aging down Mortimer Goth to rebuild the family trees from the ground up (ie: Gunther Goth -> Victor & Gretle Goth).

I'm unsure what to do. I have several options when it comes to simming, each with advantages and disadvantages, and I'm stuck trying to choose. 😩Help?
Walden - this one's obvious. My longest-standing (and possibly best-known) hood, with hundreds of pictures worth of posts. On the one hand, it's fun, it's intricate, it's well-established...on the other it's gotten so big and unwieldy, and I feel compelled to tell an ongoing story which often involves extra work on my part rather than just playing. I could drop/downscale the story and just post gameplay pictures but I feel it wouldn't be as interesting anymore. :/
Nekojima - also fun, and smaller, but suffering from similar issues to Walden, since it's very much a story-driven hood, with the additional issue of it not even being my story to begin with.
Some version of Strangetown/Pleasantview/whatever - done to death, can I really bring anything new to the table? I did have an interesting alt-Strangetown going (Strangetown with a Twist) which was fun though.

You've been all over - Lucky Palms, Strangetown, Neighborhood 1 - but have you ever headed for the bright lights of Vegas and the wasteland beyond? For those who are looking for a cheap place to live and employment that's open to anyone, the New Simfornia Republic Army might be the career for you! Based on Fallout: New Vegas' New California Republic Army faction, but with a Sims twist!
This is a branched career that splits at level five. You can choose to take the Combat or Political branch -- are you looking to become President of the New Simfornia Republic, or are you looking to be at the helm of the Rangers? The choice is yours. As always, you will need NRaas Careers for this to work!
Levels and other info under the cut!
For the initial five levels, there are a few custom tones:
Run Laps (builds Athletics), Maintain the Barracks (builds Handiness), and Tend Crops (builds Gardening).[/list]
For the Combat branch, we have:
Perform Weapons Drills (builds Athletics), Spar With Fellow Recruits (raises Martial Arts), and Write Reports (builds Writing).
The Political branch, on the other hand, has:
Prepare Talking Points (builds Charisma), Study (builds Logic), and Network With Other Politicians (builds Gambling). As this is a hidden skill that comes with Lucky Palms and the casino content, you will need that world downloaded for the skill to work correctly. Otherwise you may be able to alter this through MasterController.
I have made three opportunities that appear for Level 10 at both branches. These are to read a book, throw a party and invite a coworker, and attend a meeting. This is my first time making these so please let me know if you have any problems! There are also no carpools as thematically they wouldn't make sense1
Here are the levels and descriptions for the initial five before the branch:
[*]Wastelander - 10 simoleans p/h - M-F Description: New Simfornia is an okay place to live. Electricity runs for at least six hours a day, and the water supply is mostly clean. But there’s bills to pay and food to put on the table; scavenging pipes from the scrapyard and selling mutated wildflowers just doesn’t pay like it used to. The New Simfornia Republic Army is looking more appealing by the second… Recruit - 20 simoleans p/h - M-F Description: You’ve hiked your way out to the barracks and impressed the recruiters with your enthusiasm. Now it’s time to show them what you’re truly made of; mud, sweat, and dubious rations shipped from Strangetown. Hope you like green meatloaf and hard tack so solid you could use it as a weapon! Labourer - 25 simoleans p/h - M-F Description: Boot camp is over and done with, thank the Watcher. Now you’re stuck with menial labour; dull, but safe. You’ll spend your days planting crops, making flour, or putting together weapons on the factory line. Long hours for half decent pay, it’s not a bad life (unless you actually like scavving or fistfighting the creatures in the mine for food). Auxiliary - 30 simoleans p/h - M-F Description: An actual uniform, your own dog tags, and a waterproof pair of cowplant hide boots, it’s like every Snowflake Day come at once! At least now you’re inside most of the time, even if the most exciting thing you do is drop off letters from Sunset Valley and listen to gossip from Vegas. At least there’s free coffee. Private - 40 simoleans p/h - M-F Description: Your commanders have made a big deal about how they’re trusting you with patrols now, where you’re let loose with a basic weapon and have the tiniest bit of authority. Citizens might respect you and you’ll get to see the sights of Strangetown and Lucky Palms, but you know what they say; patrolling the Simoran almost makes you wish for…
Then for the combat branch levels:
[*]Captain - 70 simoleans p/h - M-F Description:You’ve spent your years slogging away as a cog in the machine and now the higher ups have finally recognised your efforts. You’re leading your own team, which can somewhat be like herding cats, but at least you get to go on more interesting missions now and have so say in the logistics. Even if those command meetings could have been an email. Major - 80 simoleans p/h - M-F Description:Your own office, specialised assignments, and the authority to get someone else to clean the bathrooms… the life of a major isn’t a bad one. But it does come with a price; you’ll be leading troops into battle and having to command the bigger outposts, which is a headache in itself. Solving squabbles over caravan routes and shipments of energy drinks, followed by a firefight at the New Simfornia border? All in a day’s work. Colonel - 200 simoleans p/h - M-F Description:You’ve moved somewhat away from petty disputes, but even if the pay is better, the responsibilities increase with it. You’re looking after entire regions and their platoons, making sure troops are dispatched to the right areas and civilian areas are kept safe (as much as they can be). Ranger - 500 simoleans p/h - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Description:You’re finally the ranger with the big iron on their hip and hefty bounties to track down. You’re the one they call when the alien threat gets out of hand and the two-headed bears start rummaging through cabins on the Hidden Springs lakesides. You’ve got the chance to earn decent money on your own terms, provided the ghouls or yetis don’t take you out first. Chief - 750 simoleans p/h - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Description:You’re out in the field less these days and spend more time dispatching the rangers under your command to get the jobs done. Still, you get a cut of the bounty that they bring back, and you don’t have to scramble through radioactive swamps to take out a target! It doesn’t get much better than that.
And the political branch levels:
Intern - 50 simoleans p/h - M-F Description:You’ve got a knack for bright ideas and saying the right things at the right time. This hasn’t gone unnoticed, and your superior has suggested working in the political branch of the New Simfornia Republic Army. At the moment it’s more running missives and making coffee of dubious quality, but everyone has to start somewhere! Law Maker - 75 simoleans p/h - M-F Description:After many, many years of dealing with the general public and your fellow squaddies, you’ve gained enough knowledge to know what needs to change – and spent plenty of time daydreaming how to do it. It might not be a seat of power, but determining which laws make it to the senate and writing detailed bills is a step in the right direction. Senator - 250 simoleans p/h - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday Description:Finally, you’re where you deserve to be. Away from the dust and dirt of the Wasteland, your days involve a freshly cleaned suit and arguing with your fellow senators about the day’s agenda. Even if people don’t know you, they still have a healthy amount of respect for you (and maybe some fear). What you say, goes, and after all – you know best. Councillor - 500 simoleans p/h - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Description:Unlimited power! … almost. You’re the one pulling the strings, whispering in the President’s ear and making sure they’re steered along the right track. You mostly work from the shadows now, only making appearances when needed, but your words are weighted like the finest Aqua Pura. Use them wisely. President - 1000 simoleans p/h - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Description:The sky’s the limit; everything the light of the bomb touches is your kingdom. Whether New Simfornia flourishes or fails is entirely dependent on your whims. The army? Your personal bodyguards and playthings. The populace? Dolls to rearrange and position as you please. Watch out, Vegas; a new sheriff’s in town…

GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN!
Heyoh people! Today I brought a bit of my gameplay! I don’t live off builds only LOL. Check out everything that’s been happening in my Strangetown save and all the latest updates so far!
I personally love Strangetown and all its eccentricity — that desert vibe really reminds me of '90s movies, and it fascinates me how, no matter how weird it looks, everything still feels well-built and harmonious. EA and Maxis really put their hearts into it!
Buuut… I had to give it my own little twist hahaha! I added a few lots here and there, created some background sims, set up their wants, careers, and fixed a few details that were off — and well, here we are! Ready? Let’s go!
So, I went with the Curious Family, just like the Strangetown Play Order suggests. As expected, Pascal gave birth to Thyco, the alien baby, and right after that, Vidcund ended up pregnant too. Surprisingly, Vidcund had a baby with a totally human appearance, his name is Orion. At one point, I accidentally left the game unpaused for a while, and I think Vidcund might’ve gotten pregnant again hahaha!
Pascal and Nervous got engaged and are planning to move in together and start a family. Lazlo’s doing the same with Crystal, while Vidcund’s still set on rescuing Circe.
The house is getting a bit cramped, but there’s still room for everyone!
The second family is the Specter household. Olivia makes peace with the General before he leaves, while Ophelia keeps herself busy with her new job as a journalist, school photo class in the afternoon, and sneaking out with Johnny in the middle of the night...
For the first time ever, a Sim in my save literally fell asleep standing up LMAO!
Also, the fake Bella Goth just casually strolling around...
We almost died of fright!
But the heart made room for forgiveness. Facing her impending death, Ophelia demanded a midlife crisis within 24 hours: retire, buy a car (which she barely used), study like crazy, and learn new skills.
I made her donate part of her fortune to her son, encouraging him to get away from Loki’s place. It was a bit over 20k simoleons — enough for a house in Baskerville (the sub-hood where I send the younger sims and post-university grads).
Hula Hula, Tiiki Tiiki! Unfortunately, Olivia passed away right as Ophelia was at her prom school party, stepping into adulthood...

THE PREVIOUS PAGE

Pascal: Patrizio, you're just in time. Come in.
Patrizio: Pascal, what's going on? Why's HE here?
Consort: I was going to say the same. You never said that he'd be here.
Pascal: This is something that concerns the both of you. Now, sit down.
Patrizio: I want no-
Pascal: I SAID SIT!

Ripp: Are you Pascal will be safe in there?
Tank: He volunteered, and we already warned him that things might get bad. I'm sure he'll be fine. Everything is televised, and...worst case scenario, he gets to see Nervous again.
Ripp: That's not good.
Tank: It's the best we got. Unless if you want to go with the initial plan of just killing the both of them?
Ripp: ...I'm good.

Pascal: Now, I understand that there's a lot of tension between you two. Would either of you like to air out your feelings?
Consort: Why are you acting like a therapist? Are you even qualified for this?
Pascal: No, but I'm the closest this town has to having one. And everyone in your family, both dead and alive, deserve an explanation for what caused this feud to begin with.
Patrizio: ...
Consort: ...
Pascal: So?
Consort: Yes, Patrizio. Tell us. What did I do that prompted you to give me the cold shoulder out of nowhere?
Patrizio: ...Contessa.

Antonio: Are you kidding me? All of this bloodshed for some woman?
Kent: Some woman? That's my mom!...though, I get your point. This entire thing feels like a love triangle in a cheap romance book.
Bianca: I feel like we shouldn't be seeing this...
Consort: All of this over Contessa? Why didn't you just tell me?
Patrizio: She chose you. I didn't want to get in the way of your happiness.
Consort: You made me your mortal enemy with no explanation!

Romeo: ...
Isabella: I've known for ages. He's not subtle, you know.
Romeo: I just can't believe we lost Mercutio over this.
Isabella: I'm sure there'll be time to make it up to him later.
Romeo: But he's dead. I can't just talk to the-
Romeo: ...
Romeo: Oh.

Tybalt: So yeah, that was what happened.
Juliette: A warning would've been nice! Do you know how traumatizing it is to find a dead body?
Tybalt: Yeah, sorry. We just wanted to make sure that the plan worked perfectly, which meant telling as little people as possible.
Hermia: Is Mercutio safe, at least?
Tybalt: Yeah, we're in one of the houses at Academie Le Tour. We'll visit once things are calmer, though. I can't tell if Consort and Patrizio will make amends.
Hermia: To think faking a death would be what brought them together...

Patrizio: I'm sorry. I should've told you, and now it's too late.
Consort: ...
Consort: I forgive you. Things will never be able to go back to how they were before, but...we can end the feud. The next generations will know peace.
Patrizio: I'd like that.
Pascal: Neat. Well, my job here is done.
Consort: You didn't do anything.
Pascal: Goodbye.

Sita: Well, congrats! The feud's ended now, which means that we've saved everyone from brutally murdering each other! We can finally go home!
Ripp: Home? Like, back to Strangetown?
Aktu: Not really. The two of us aren't even from Strangetown. After these missions, we return back to the base and report to our boss.
Ripp: You guys have a boss? Where were they this whole time?
Aktu: They work behind the scenes. Where do you think we get the infinite money supply from?
Sita: Exactly what he said. She'll most likely want to recruit you, but we'll leave the options up to you. Normally we'd just return you home, but you're done an exceptional job with this mission.
And never was there a story of more woe,
Than that of Consort and his Patrizio.

The Story of the McAuley Family
Two years ago, when I first met the McAuley family, it consisted of three adult brothers: Johnson, Cooper, and Quinten McAuley. While Johnson and Cooper embraced a carefree, unattached lifestyle, Quinten longed for something more—he wanted to find a wife, settle down, and start a family. The brothers had recently moved to Strangetown, living together in a small apartment with few social connections beyond their neighbors.
One day, Quinten brought home a woman: Lilly Kowalski. She was stunning and, as he soon discovered, already a mother of three—one teenage daughter and two young twins. Despite the challenges this entailed, Quinten was convinced that he had found "the one." He dreamed of having children of his own but was fully prepared to take Lilly’s kids under his wing and raise them as his own.
Quinten never quite understood his brothers' lifestyle. Despite their close bond, he found their ever-changing romances, occasional flings with the same partners, and general disregard for commitment completely foreign. But that didn’t matter—he had found Lilly, and she was all he wanted.
What Quinten didn’t know, however, was that Lilly wasn’t the settling-down type.A true Romance Sim at heart, she had little interest in commitment. The more serious things became with Quinten, the more restless she felt. At first, she suppressed these feelings—but eventually, she started seeking excitement elsewhere.
And so, she found it—with Johnson.
She knew he wasn’t looking for anything serious, which was exactly what she wanted. The fact that she was betraying Quinten didn’t bother her in the slightest. Their affair continued for a long time, right under Quinten’s nose, without him suspecting a thing.
Eventually, Quinten made a big decision—he was going to propose.After a romantic dinner at an upscale restaurant, he got down on one knee and asked Lilly to marry him. At first, she panicked—but then she saw the advantages. A marriage to Quinten would provide financial stability, a loving father for her children, and the comfort of being a housewife while keeping her romantic escapades discreet.
But fate had other plans.
One day, Quinten unexpectedly came home early from work—only to catch Johnson and Lilly in the act. Devastated, he immediately broke off the engagement and kicked them both out of the apartment. Johnson, unfazed, moved in with Lilly into a shared house filled with other Romance Sims, while Quinten spiraled into heartbreak. Cooper, however, remained by his side, helping him through his pain.
A Fresh Start
With time, Quinten began to heal. He started talking more with his neighbor, Renee, someone he had known since moving in but never really connected with before. To his surprise, they shared similar values and dreams. What started as casual conversations soon turned into something deeper, and before long, they had fallen in love.
Quinten and Renee moved into a house of their own, got married, and finally built the family Quinten had always wanted. Before long, their twin children, Ethel and Archie, were born.
Though they were never wealthy, they were happy. Their home was modest but felt spacious compared to what they were used to. Money was always tight, but they had everything they had ever dreamed of.
The Next Generation
Years passed, and Ethel and Archie grew up. Ethel chose to stay at home to care for her aging parents, while Archie moved out to start a new life with his great love, Bria Grunt. The two had a child together—but that’s a story for another time.
Ethel, on the other hand, fell for Lewis. Interestingly, she originally had her eyes on his brother, Lester, but he showed no interest in her. So, she turned to Lewis instead. Although he had been her second choice at first, their relationship turned out to be stable and harmonious.
After their wedding, their first child, Calvin, was born—a curious little boy with an undeniable love for all things messy. Not long after, they welcomed their daughter, Rosalyn, a sweet girl with a rather peculiar hobby: she simply couldn’t resist sneaking out at night to steal garden gnomes from the neighbors’ yards. Thanks to her charming personality, no one ever suspected that she was the one behind the mysterious disappearances. She carefully hid her growing collection in her room, where no one could find it.
What Comes Next?
Today, Calvin and Rosalyn are teenagers, ready to carve their own paths in life. What adventures await them? Only time will tell…

20. choose your favourite shot from your story so far
since i have so many Hermia Driving Ominously (which are my favorites haha), i picked another “style” of shot. i feel like this pic is so basic but to me it really exemplifies the gloomy/ dark mood i’m going for w the addition of being in strangetown (also my fav)
25. what inspirations have you drawn on for your story?
re: sims stories, definitely f&r because it encouraged me to want to do a story in the first place and got me more into the premades. this was originally just going to be a cordial backstory (which got reworked some and will now be included in sw). and of course shwc, since for me that was my original exposure to premades as a viable and interesting subject.
the biggest sims inspiration i have is obviously @emperorofthedark. like i feel like i say this constantly but i love her stories, the atmosphere is sooo good and honestly every time i’ve come back to the sims community (before having a story myself to keep me occupied lol) it’s been because i need to check for an update bc i want to find out what happens next LOL
for non sims stuff, i’ve always been super into horror. i don’t really like gore/ slashers, but a ghost story with a good twist (i love when the ghost is just like… tragic vs flat evil lol) or anything with “resurrection gone wrong” themes like pet sematery. some recent stuff i’ve really liked is haunting of hill house/ bly manor, midnight mass, the new interview with the vampire show, talk to me, stuff like that. (please whoever is reading this rec me horror books and movies lol)
and the dark side of fairy lore of course! when i was a kid i had this anthology of darker/ retold fairytales called “a wolf at the door” and i’ve been hooked on that kind of thing ever since.
also true blood, i know it’s goofy but it’s a comfort show i guess? for the inspiration for the tricou family’s backstory which will get written about at some point re: the grand vampires in NL are like, a vampire council. also the aesthetic of twin peaks/ true detective.
for music, tasseomancy, especially their albums ‘ulalume’ and ‘tasseomancy’ (that one was from when they were known as ghost bees) and promise and the monster’s ‘red tide’ album and the EPs from that era, and her ‘feed the fire’ album, the dear esther soundtrack, gazelle twin, a.a. bondy, timber timbre
28. if you could reproduce your story in another medium (movie, novel, comic, etc.) what would you choose and why?
tv show for sure! hour long, shorter seasons like hbo shows. i’m thinking it will end up being around 12~ chapters and i’m honestly writing it to be like that already, where i’m trying to do the scenes as if they were in a show (with a soundtrack and everything lol), where the images aren’t always straight depictions of the text but they compliment each other instead, if that makes sense.

Smith-Grunt
Jill Smith (83) - Buck Grunt (82) (After this, Jill and Buck passed away. Little did they know that their small house would be moved into by three young girls, determined to solve the Strangerville-mystery...)
Jill and Buck were quite young when everything began happening.
Buck had fought with his father and brothers since he was a kid. At the age of 16, he moved out and over to Jill’s. They were soon high school sweethearts and were busy being teenagers when things started happening over at the lab. They heard rumors that the Beakers (they were so creepy) had held a boy there, and their own children!
Not long after, Jill’s brother Johnny and Ophelia left. It was years later that she heard from them.
And then Olive disappeared. Maybe it was an omen?
Just as Jill and Buck welcomed their daughter Lyla - their Strangetown just went up in flames. Something happened over at the lab - killing the Beakers, Buck’s father and brothers Tank and Ripp; and Jill’s uncles Pascal, Vidcunt and Lazlo.
Leaving only Jill's parents and younger cousin Tycho.
Grief struck over those who were still alive.
And they couldn’t stay, the air was too polluted. So Jill took her aging parents, her husband, her cousin and her daughter and moved. They named the place Strangerville and hoped to rebuild something here. They welcomed baby Notzo not long after.
Buck Grunt
It was perhaps a weird twist of fate that he too ended up in the military. But honestly, where else to find a job after everything had changed?
And maybe it was a way to honor his dad and brothers. As much as they had fought over the years, they had still been family.
Buck had to focus on his own family there for a while. Jill's cousin Tycho wasn't doing too great after the death of her father and uncles. And with Lyla and eventually Notzo, they had their hands full. Sure, Jill's parents tried to help, but they too weren't doing too great.
Jill built them a home, but Buck was then the one who managed to focus on the here and now. He took a job, raised the family and was a stability to Jill when she couldn't stop her mind for trying to find answers.
Sometimes, Buck figured, there were none to be given.
And so he had raised the kids, gone to work and tried to start over. Though he had to give it to Jill - those weird plants that started showing up around 25 years ago did freak him out a bit. And yes, he too had noticed how people acted so strange now and then...
Jill Smith
She's old, but that doesn't stop her. Lately, Jill has realized that even though everything had seemed like it ended in Strangetown, something new is happening here in Strangerville. Or is it connected?
When they moved here they had to build from the ground. People moved here from all over SimNation - most came from Del Sol Valley or Oasis Springs (as they are the closest areas). People who weren't afraid of the new and unknown.
The military had come too of course. Those first years they passed outside Jill and Buck's home almost daily - Jill assumed they had to see what had happened over at Strangetown. Jill and Buck had to give testimonies, but over the years the talk of Strangetown stopped.
However, it was as if Strangerville inherited so much of Strangetown. Here she found herself once again surrounded by scientists and military personnel. She understood that a new lab had been opened. She tried to figure out what they did, but both she and Buck found their questions unwelcome.
And she didn't like that Roswell-family. Now Ted was Mayor, after his father's passing. But both Senior and Junior had something to do with that lab over there. Sure, Ted had only been 19 when the spores came, but Jill was certain he knew more - and probably knew something about why that lab closed...
And then, new scientists had shown up, and with them the conspiracy theorists. She had to give it to them, and their online forums - there was a lot of theories and sometimes some good facts to be found there.
But now she has to rest. She is old, and she knows she probably won't live to find all the answers she's looking for.
