(woomy) no thats fine!! We'll explain it to the best of our ability.
pretty much systems are referred to as "a collection of alters within one body". DID and OSDD are brought upon (i think thats the correct wording) by trauma, causing alters to form.
(Stray) Some systems have only two alters, some have a lot more, and I think there's even a possibility for there to be an infinite amount of alters.
For us (as in my other headmates/alters in the Unicorn System), being a system somewhat defines us as different people that have come from different lives and different walks of life, but we still found ourselves here and will work together to keep the body healthy.
Though we did do a lot of research I highly recommend that you do a bit of research as well, we didn't get everything that being a system is (ie roles, the origin of alters, ect) and I'm not even sure if we explained it too well. But if you guys do have questions we're always happy to answer to the best of our ability. :)
