Random idea:
Style savvy contests but on tumblr. A random image or aesthetic chosen like in international (?) contests in the DS version or trendsetters. It's different to the daily bot as its weekly (or something like that). I also want to restrict it to one or two of the games to give everyone a similar wardrobe. Also tumblr voting like in the wireless contests.

Has Silco ever had any crushes or serious (for him, anyway) relationships in FnF?
tw: abuse, stalking, domestic violence
Lmao, to call them 'relationships' would be giving Silco far too much credit.
(If you'd like more headcanons on his behavior during hook-ups, flings and trysts: go here.)
With that in mind, if you hold his interest past the 'Tarts on a Tea-tray' stage, i.e. the floozies and flings; challenge his ideals past the 'Fleeting Fancies' stage, i.e. flash-in-a-pan romances; are loyal above and beyond his 'Assets' i.e. talented and treasured underlings...
Congratulations.
You've hit 'Main Squeeze' status: someone he'll make a point of 'treating right.' i.e. not slitting the throat of in their sleep for one offense too-many.
Sadly, this status, more often than not, tends to be bestowed post-mortem.
In FnF, he's not above passing fixations and even the rare fascination. But Silco's mind is like quicksand, so such interests never find much of a foothold before sinking inevitably beneath the black ichor of what truly occupies his focus:
Zaun.
More often than not, he'll 'purge' said distractions in the most expedient manner that's available to a man as driven, ruthless and capricious as himself. In each encounter, there will be a sense of premeditation, not unlike when one orders fastfood. Also during the encounter itself, he'll demonstrate a strange species of tedium—as if this is something he's indulging himself in purely to satisfy a prurient itch that's proving troublesome.
In the aftermath, his lovers are not worth lingering over. He'll cut contact right after use and move on with barely any consideration towards whether they're satisfied, unsatisfied, heartbroken or even still breathing after the fact.
That said, once in a blue moon, by virtue of some enigmatic alchemy or a cosmic hot-flash, he has found himself, in his own words, "At the mercy of my vices."
In other words, besotted in some capacity by whoever's unlucky enough to capture his attention.
In each case, Silco has tried to bind these persons closer to him in order to secure their affections via promises of power, or threats of blackmail. He does this for a few reasons:
1) Because power is his primary language of affection;
2) Because he relishes witnessing strong-willed partners bend under the pressure of circumstance (by his hand);
3) And most importantly, to test just how strong their convictions are against him—or rather, where their loyalties lie: in his thrall, or without?
Sadly, Silco has a track record for choosing doomed entanglements. Each one, generally, meets a bad end.
Often: fatally so.
Some notable suckers on his Roster of Rue?
- Wysteria Wollatter:
An up-and-coming chem-baroness with a keen sense of style, wit, and the misfortune of choosing to fund Silco's early Shimmer enterprise, only to let greed supersede her business savvy. She attempted to extort the Shimmer formula from Silco's lockbox, but was caught before she could pull it off.
Silco, of course, found the entire fiasco blackly hilarious; here he'd believed himself dangerously taken with this woman who'd proven both smart and sharp-tongued as an asp—only to learn she'd been stealing from him for months on end. Her interest in him was about as genuine as her brand-new bustline. Which, by the by, he'd funded as an IOU after she made several half-serious threats along the lines of "If you don't pay my debtors before the end of the months, I'll have to sell myself at the brothel."
Needless to say: the bustline did not survive Silco's reprisal. Nor did her tongue, hands, eyes.
Or any other part of her, really.
He still regrets carving her heart out. If only for the sake of leaving her torso intact: her ribcage had been a masterpiece of anatomical symmetry.
Bitch didn't deserve those tits, though.
- Kasper Schlagg:
A young bruiser Silco employed to oversee the Last Drop. He was blunt as a hammer; strong as one too. Exceptionally useful as a threat-deterrent, but astonishingly sweet outside his profession. He managed to weasel into his boss' good graces with weekly rounds of gin rummy. By the six-month mark, he'd earned himself a few, infrequent, more intimate nights of companionship.
Silco found his company restful; calming; undemanding. In turn, Kasper enjoyed the challenge that came with earning his employer's affections through acts of daredevilry and brute strength.
Then Kasper threw in his lot with Margot, began stealing from the Last Drop's safe, and sealed his coffin within a single day.
Silco had the remains delivered to Margot's doorstep.
The poor bastard resembled ground chuck.
R.I.P. Kasper.
- Esméralda Claret:
An heiress to an illustrious import-export empire that fell into steep decline following Piltover's draconian trade edicts pre-Independence. Having fallen upon hard times—her estate seized; wealth stripped; kin driven to seek their fortunes abroad—her options grew exceedingly limited.
It soon became clear she'd need to make a living for herself within Zaun's wolf-den, or perish without making much of a showing at all. So she approached Silco in a bid to negotiate terms for shipping contraband past the Hexgates.
Silco, impressed by her cool competence, accepted her offer.
On the condition he take her to dinner first.
What followed was a charming series of evenings spent wining, dining, and later whoring their way across the depths and heights of Zaun. Silco would show up looking well-bred, polite, and not a little rakish. Esméralda would play the proverbial blushing rose atop his lapel. They would frequent operas, art shows and charity balls, rubbing shoulders with Fissure aristos and Topsiders alike—all while Silco quietly schemed to swindle her into accepting a marriage proposal.
He almost had her believing it would be one of love as much as mutual benefit.
Fortunately, Esméralda had a sharper instinct for self-preservation than most. When she sensed matters were moving a trifle too-fast, she dug deeper to uncover Silco's true motives: which was to blackmail her into staying put as a source of untraceable merchandise (not to mention unlimited funds), rather than risk letting her escape with his trade secrets tucked between her teeth.
Once he'd discovered the game was up, Silco wasted no time in bringing out his trump card: several promissory notes Esméralda had penned, back when she believed him smitten, wherein she pledged future shipments of her company's goods for free, in exchange for future partnership opportunities in his Shimmer ventures.
When she refused, Silco took the choice from her hands.
Literally.
Nowadays, Esméralda spends much of her time on a modest vineyard in Shurima. She cannot play the piano anymore, so her servants sing caccias instead to fill the void left in the music room. Nor can she indulge her penchant for calligraphy, or embroidery, or even tying her shoelaces.
All ten fingers currently sit in a jewelry box upon her vanity, encased in crystal.
When asked what they signify, she smiles wanly.
"They're a reminder," is all she'll say, "to never sign your lifeblood over to a Devil."
- Moxxie:
A chanteuse with a soprano that could crack stone into smithereens. Their stage-name was a direct reflection of their fearless, fun-loving persona. Even before they'd signed on as the Blue Note's resident cabaret act, they had a reputation for singing ballads so raunchy they'd gotten run out of every bar in Piltover.
Now, here they were:
Doing their best to set a new record for rowdy renditions beneath the city proper.
Silco first heard Moxxie's rendition of 'A Guy What Takes His Time' during one of his routine dinners at the club, lounging in the VIP section with a cigar and enjoying some hard-won quiet. The quiet didn't last long. One glance was all it took to determine what manner of mischief had just entered his arena, kicking off their performance with high-heels flying, and all the gusto of a natural-born headliner.
Everything about the chanteuse was vibrant, vivacious, and wildly animated: from their shock-white hair right down to the tips of their silver-toed spats, with every sequined flourish in-between glowing like radioactive tinsel.
The Eye of Zaun couldn't look away if he tried.
After the performance, he sent up a bouquet of lilies as a token of appreciation, complete with an engraved invitation for private drinks sometime that week.
Moxxie responded by sending back a handwritten thank-you note with the suggestion he visit them again Thursday.
Their romance was astonishingly short-lived (two weeks). Yet it seemed destined to stretch well beyond the superficial. They swapped banter over shared cocktails, indulged in long smoky suppers at the Promenade, and made sure their dalliance was public, potent, and thoroughly prurient enough to stir up gossip wherever they went.
Then Moxxie had to go and open that smart mouth of theirs where Sevika's cutthroat loyalty was concerned.
Right to Silco's face.
Needless to say, Silco did not appreciate their presumptions regarding his lieutenant. Especially seeing how their affair had barely exceeded a fortnight, give-or-take.
The following morning, Sevika showed up with one of Moxxie's silver tassels pinned to the lapel of her jacket. A gift from Silco, to recognize her value as one of the few confidantes he truly trusted.
Moxxie, meanwhile, has been missing since.
- Skylar:
This sweet young man wasn't so much a 'lover,' as the unfortunate recipient of Silco's burgeoning infatuation.
But who can blame the bastard?
Skylar, a hardworking entrepreneur, possessed an elegant, ethereal air, as if he hailed from another world altogether. Passing through the Lanes like a will-o-the-wisp, he'd turn heads even when dressed-down in shirtsleeves and suspenders.
He owned a successful confectionary boutique that served sweets by the hundreds; each concoction tailored specifically towards its patron's desires and dreams.
Silco found it intriguing that Skylar derived flavors from fairytales. Jinx adored the whimsy behind it, and frequented his shop weekly. Silco, at a distance, found himself drawn to watching this unusual candy-maker labor over his craft.
He was tempted to approach Skylar, but refrained until he'd built up something of a rapport via brief, professional exchanges; slowly acclimating Skylar to his presence. From there, it took several months to transition their exchanges towards more informal grounds, mostly revolving around business endeavors, catering requests for special events, etcetera. Then, Silco began testing the waters towards more personal interactions by engaging in idle chat regarding everyday topics like politics, arts, and literature.
All throughout, he observed Skylar closely, taking stock of every subtle nuance and micro-expression.
There was always something about Skylar that hinted at depths untapped; mysteries unknown. But he remained circumspect, modestly withdrawn, even as Silco pushed the boundaries of propriety.
Finally, after nearly five months of carefully cultivating the ground beneath their feet, Silco dared make his move.
Only to realize far too late he'd committed a grave error of judgment regarding Skylar's predilections.
Not only was the young man straight as a compass, but deeply religious in his commitment to upholding traditionalist values. He looked positively horrified at Silco's proposition. Not to mention deeply ashamed of himself for having failed to recognize such intent beforehand, especially given how generous Silco had been towards him throughout their association.
In his subsequent apology, Silco managed to salvage what he could of their working relationship: maintaining cordiality in public whilst avoiding anything remotely resembling intimacy thereafter.
He still visits Skylar's shop from time to time for sweets, appreciating the exceptional craftsmanship, always mindful to pay generously, yet discreetly.
And despite knowing he has little chance at ever winning Skylar over, Silco still harbors an indefatigable fascination for this rare specimen; a shining anomaly who manages to enchant without soliciting; attract without seducing; beguile without enticing.
The allure lies in the forbidden fruit; the fleeting glimpses afforded him of something ephemeral, unattainable, utterly unknowable.
It's an attraction doomed before it could even bloom.
- Astrid: (hehehe @ink-and-dagger )
A feisty little minx who mixed a killer cocktail. She was infamous for getting top-shelf clients drunk enough to do outrageous shit. But that rarely meant sex—more often blackmail and shady backroom dealings that might net Silco a pretty profit down the road.
She and Silco were exquisitely well-matched; equals in banter, wit, and lust. Shame the entanglement went up in flames after he learnt she'd slept with Marcus.
Who knows? They could've been quite the pair.
Still.
At least she walked out of that liaison with the memory of a great night's lay... and all her appendages intact.

Games I think the gang members would play:
Arthur: not much into gaming, I can see him play Zelda Breath of the wild and Tears of kingdom. Probably plays some other Nintendo games like Mario kart with the youngest.
John: I can either see him play comp fps (valorant, CS:Go, overwatch) / battle royal Or he's a speedrunner mostly on platforms game (Celeste, any old Mario)
Abigail: train on the games Jack wants to play so she can impress him when he asks for help, outside of that she plays Animal crossing with Mary-Beth and Kieran. When Jack isn't here she Loooves horror games. She finished all the resident evil.
Jack: pokepark, anything that looked cute and chill. Then teen year hit and he tried games with Knights. Loves watching Tilly play, tried to sneak on Abi to see horror games.
Hosea: those points and click games where you gotta solves things. Or maybe games like starcraft, so RTS. He also love Crusader King.
Lenny: anything that challenges his brain, Started with Prof Layton, continued with disco elysium, blue prince, chants of Sennaar. Hosea got him to play ace attorney too.
Sean: played GTA 5, went online tried rp loved it so now he spends most of his time trying to be the biggest gangster of Los Santos on some server. Also looooves mmorpg like he was a club penguin kid and then moved to Wow and ff14
Uncle: crazy candy crush kinda old man. Like John once saw he was top 3 world or something.
Dutch: forces everyone to bond on among us, Dale & Dawson or any imposter kind of game. Also like retro games and Sim city.
Bill: war games (Cod or world of tank) sport games. Actually anything so he can relax/ get rid of any tension he had during the day.
Javier: he tried guitar hero and HATED IT. He's actually more of a story game kinda guy, especially indie games. So he'd totally be into expedition 33, baldur's Gate 3, life is strange. Don't ask him about life is strange it's still a difficult topic (he totally cried)
Kieran: horse games. Like bro is a long time Star stable Online player, he played all the horse games you can think of. Animal crossing to hang out with the girl and have all the horses villagers.
Molly: Style Savvy: Fashion Forward. And also otome games, like my candy love and it kinda fucked up her expectations for love and relationship.
Tilly: play duo with John on fps game, or any final fantasy and fire emblem.
Micah: League of legends. You know why. Also play chess online only to brag about his elo. Had like 10 different acc cuz he keeps getting reported (rightfully)
Karen: just dance, she absolutely LOOOOVE those games. And rythme game, she's insanely good at osu.
Mary-Beth: Sims 4, like she has tons of mods and do some evil shit on that to pass the time. Play animal crossing too. Loves visual novels of any type.
Susan: I can't imagine her playing EXCEPT for one thing. She's at the head of one of the biggest Wow guild and she has been playing since the game came out. It's like the only thing I'll accept about her.
Sadie: not much of a player she sometimes joins Tilly and John but mostly spend time on Stardew valley. Depending on the day her activities in the game change lol
Charles: he goes through any indie games with a distinctive art style, anything that catches his eyes or has an interesting story he'll try it.

TOM GLYNN-CARNEY PHOTOGRAPHED BY MATTHEW LEIFHEIT FOR VULTURE MAGAZINE.

TALKING ABOUT HIS CHARACTER ARC IN S2.
Aegon is confident, politically savvy, and even affectionate with his children from sister-wife Helaena (Phia Saban).
“Showing that he has the potential to love was interesting to me. I wanted to investigate that.”
Glynn-Carney, who read the book after a season one conversation with Condal and Sapochnik about Aegon's overall arc, praises the development for its shock factor and the attention it gives to Saban, who says it is "sensational in all its forms."
There’s something about Aegon in his eyes when he admits: “I’d probably go a little more graphic about the gore. I could have done with, ‘Oh, I can’t look at that!’ The sadist in me needed it.”
TALKING ABOUT MUSIC.
The playlist he made for Aegon (he makes one for all his characters) helps get him in the right mercurial mind-set, he tells me at Rough Trade.
It includes some contemplative classical and punk rock like the Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, and the Sex Pistols.
“Ironically,” he says with a smile. “fuck-the-patriarchy, fuck-the-monarchy stuff.”
In his own life, Glynn-Carney makes “lyrically driven, quite folky” music, citing Tame Impala, Bon Iver, and, of course, Garvey as influences.
He grabs a copy of Jeff Buckley’s Grace because he’s worn down his current edition from listening to it so much. He treats Chet Baker’s 1959 album Chet gently, like a holy object, when he tells me he’d love to play the cool jazz musician in a biopic one day.
“There she is,” he says, as if greeting an old friend, when he sees Patti Smith’s Radio Ethiopia.
“Anyone who says they don’t like music, you can’t trust them. Bodies under the floorboards, isn’t it?” he says.
OLIVIA COOKE TALKING ABOUT TOM GLYNN-CARNEY'S ACTING STYLE.
His acting style is instinctual, a function of his theater training that feels particularly well suited to Aegon’s own impulsiveness.
When filming their first scene on the show together, Glynn-Carney encouraged Cooke to actually slap him in the face:
“The first go, I did it really haphazardly. I only caught his chin with my fingertips, because I was too nervous. And he was like, ‘No, Olivia, just, like, really go for it. Just really go for it.’
“I went for it, and the ringing sound that came from the slap reverberated all through the Red Keep. Tears are springing to his eyes and his chin is wobbling.”
SPOILERS!! S2.
OLIVIA COOKE TALKING ABOUT A SCENE OF AEGON AND ALICENT IN S2.
In a scene they share in season two during which Aegon grieves the loss of a relative:
“He was throwing himself around the room in just the throes of despair. It sort of took me out of the scene a bit. I was like, Bloody hell, Tom’s doing well.”
ABOUT THE PERSONALITY OF KING AEGON II.
“massively bipolar.”
That emotional volatility, fueled by shame, guilt, and an obsessive need to prove himself, becomes a major driver of this season’s increasing bloodshed and brutality.
“Aegon wants to be loved and feared at the same time. But I think it’s a dangerous cycle.”
“We’re not going to get to the core of what’s going on. We’re just going to go round and round and round and round and round until everything burns and everyone’s dead."
ABOUT HIS SCENES WITH RHYS IFANS IN S2.
One of his favorite days on set this season reminded him of the live energy of performing onstage.
They were shooting episode two, when Aegon challenges his grandfather Otto’s decisions and remains steely and resolute in response to Otto’s insults:
“I’ve always wanted to do a play with Rhys, and that felt like the closest thing I’ll get to it for a while.”
“It was an empty set, a big room, like a stage. We were allowed complete free rein of the space.”
TALKING ABOUT HIS FAMILY.
He came from a creatively inclined family: His paternal grandparents were an opera singer and a choirmaster, and his mother sewed all the costumes for his sister’s ballroom and Latin dance competitions.
They were supportive of his acting dreams, he says, but urged a plan B — a suggestion he rejected:
“I remember being so precocious and being like, ‘If I have a plan B, I’m preemptively failing it.’ My mom probably thought, Little dickhead.”
“I always had my eyes on the prize, and sometimes you’ve just got to be like that, haven’t you?.”

Weekly dump: Busy
Hello! First I wanted to thank everyone that liked and commented on my first weekly dump! I planned to post another regardless if no one commented but seeing so many people actually reading my post and enjoying it…it made me really emotional. I’ve always felt really small and sometimes even unimportant to people in my life (not to my darling sweet wife but you get what I’m saying) so seeing so many people reading my post and enjoying what I had to say meant a lot to me.

So, why is this post titled busy? Well, I’m busy. Rather, I made myself busy. I have two weeks of school left but I decided to do all my finals this week instead of waiting. As an English major, I’m very fortunate to have final essays as opposed to in person finals, so once the paper is done that’s it. Currently I only have one more essay left!! This semester is my final one and I really wanted to relax before my graduation ceremony! This also gives me time to apply to my masters program without worrying about my current assignments! Honestly this has been the best crunch week I’ve ever had, my writing has come super easily to me and as a result I haven’t been stressed despite the numerous essays I’ve had to write!

That being said…I’ve still made time to take things slow and enjoy my time. I’ve been playing a lot more style savvy than animal crossing, I guess it’s just a bit easier since style savvy is more guided so it keeps my attention a bit longer than acnl (though I still visited my villagers this week don’t worry!) I really love choosing the random hairstyle option and building an outfit around that look!
Earlier this week we also had a sudden thunderstorm! I live in SoCal, literally an hour away from L.A. so it was very scary to suddenly get such a heavy thunderstorm! Thunder kept sounding right outside my house but a little bit before it started, when it was just raining, I went outside and took some photos! I have a tree with a face named Mel and he is my favorite plant. I want a tree in the front yard of the next place I move to so I can give it a face and a new name. Anyways here’s a moody picture of Mel for your enjoyment!

Isn’t he the cutest? I love trees with faces, they’re so delightful. Speaking of delightful, I watched Wolf’s Rain with my gf this week. I watched it all once when I was 14 and since the person I watched it with was a horrible evil woman, I decided I wanted to watch it again with the love of my life. We watched the first six episodes on what I believe may be a bootleg Blu-ray…I would love to get an official copy of it in the future but for now it’s pretty solid aside from the quick advertisement of titlovi.com at the beginning of every episode, honestly I think it adds to the show. I love physical media so even if it’s a bootleg I’m very happy with owning it lol

I can’t believe I graduate in just a few weeks, it feels surreal. I was in a very bad place mentally when I finished high school and started university so I didn’t honestly think I’d make it this far and…now here I am. About to graduate, twenty two years old, dating my dream girl and perusing my passion for writing and libraries despite all the challenges presented to me. I’m really proud I’ve made it this far and I know I’ll only continue to go further and further with time…I was also looking at photos of myself from when I was younger this week. Back when I was 19 I’d look at younger photos and mourn the girl I used to be. Now at twenty two I can’t help but feel differently. I’ve got so much more ahead of me and while my looks may change I think I’m even prettier and more importantly, I’m far more happier now than I was then.

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…my weekly songs + videos!
So I really love goth, new wave, and visual Kei music. However, I think my favorite musician will always be Sheena Ringo. God she’s just incredible. The song I’m about to share is super personal, I have to listen to it once a week with my eyes closed to just let the music engulf me or I have a horrible week. It’s honestly one of the best things I’ve heard ever and I hope that you’ll enjoy it as well! I still can’t fucking believe she wrote this song at 16 like holy shit she was and still is such an incredible creative.
youtube
Next song is Stray, the intro to Wolfs Rain!!! I really love the sound of this one and wanted to highlight it cause I forgot how good it was till I started rewatching the show.
youtube
And finally, video of the week! As an English literature major, I’m very interested in looking into the factors of what makes a text good or bad. I believe that a majority of the time it’s preference that determines if you like a text or find it horrible. I love Slow Damage and Towa but I think A Certain Hunger and its protagonist are insufferable in comparison. However, the actual text is a good indicator of a texts quality. When looking at creepypastas, often people consider the plot to be bad but I think the writing is much worse than the plot. That’s because for a lot of young writers, creepypasta was their first entryway into the world of writing original stories. As such, when I saw a literary analysis of Jeff the Killer recommended to me on YouTube I got HYPED. And the video delivered, for once someone wasn’t making fun of the story but rather highlighting the awkward writing of the work.
