as soon as her head is leaned against his shoulder, sulpicia feels his heartbeat against his skin, her throat drying at the feeling of it. she was going to milk it, to get a little further into the woods, but god she was fucking starving.. "you've been incredibly helpful, love. thank you." she said, before her grip on him tightened, and her teeth dug into his neck.

Sprig nods. "Yeah it's fine. You can lean on me." He tries to help her move around so she can lean on him. "Okay, we can walk now."

I was technically supposed to draw this, like, a month ago for the Steven Universe Movie's 5th anniversary, but I kinda got distracted... I really like how this turned out and I hope that excuses the delay <:D

"that was your job, alec. if you were unhappy though, could you not just express that to aro? you and jane are some of his favorites, i'm sure he would've listened."

I love that Isabeau is the one to bring up the "what do we do if you die" conversation cause its a very good insight to his character at the very start of the game. Isabeau is practical, smart, and loves everyone dearly and wants to know how to help them when shit goes sideways. He's the one to ask about Bonnie too, which is a delightful read on how he thinks because everyone else shuts that down instantly as a "That wont happen and cant happen" but we see later in the game it can happen which is such a startling thing for a game to do but justifies the foreshadowing of Bonnie can die what do we do if that happens? Isabeau, despite everything, is also the one who gets to the heart of the matter even if its not something must people are willing to talk about. All without it being part of his friendquest, thats just him naturally. Which! Says so much about him and how he is! His character when its not about his relationship with Siffrin is a very intriguing thing because it feels like a very classic hard intellectual stance that's been softened after many years of learning to better communicate healthily with others. A reflection, if you will, of Odile but in a very drastic direction. I find him fascinating and I also want to scoop his brains out and study them under a microscope to see all his little brain thoughts.

well.. this was certainly an interesting development, wasn't it? that aro had two children, and sulpicia cannot help but wonder if the alice in question is in fact, the alice. had aro somehow found himself with alice cullen under his name and is none the wiser for it? her husband needed their memories back, immediately. "i'm rather new to the courts here, i'm still getting my footing." she explained, apologizing for not knowing either of them. "you as well, carina." she replied. "tea would be lovely, please. i would love to hear more about yourself and your sister."

Carina continues to smile politely before giving a light nod in response. "Yes, my father and I'm not surprised you have not heard of us. My sister Alice and I keep ourselves busy with our own interests." The young woman responds before the other introduces herself. "It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Sulpicia." She says before glancing at the sun dial and then back to the lady. "He shouldn't be much longer, and I'm happy to entertain you until he arrives. Would you like any tea or water?"

being here with aro was.. difficult to say the least. between his memories still being gone, and the betrayal that sulpicia was working through after hearing what he had done to didyme.. but the idea of her mate being here with anyone else was off the table. she stayed by his side, arm resting on his as they walked through the crowd. "i am glad you agreed to accompany me tonight."

"perhaps this is the start to a wonderful allyship." she would do whatever she could to keep her own court nearby, wanting nothing more than to spark aro's memories back.. even if her betrothed was nearby, her own eyes scanning the room to see if they were listening to the current conversation. "i haven't yet, i'd be honored if you could show me around, however, who else would know this layout better?"

aro's head bows in respect to sulpicia's curtsey. "of course. we are glad that your court could attend." he answers, checking his surrounding area to see who all could be keeping an eye on them. or even be listening. "have you tried the food, yet?"

"i think i would be happier with the title if all of our family remembered us." it was one thing to have the titles again, to have that power here, but without aro, with marcus so focused on didyme, it was.. difficult to find any comfort in a throne and crown. "i can't say i enjoy this place any more than the other washington, but i suppose it seems... easier to navigate than all the modern world."
