#shes cool as fuck to me bc when I first played jfa I found her really frustrating to deal with#not just as Phoenix but I mean like on a personal level she is challenging because she’s so thorough#and yet I also find it fascinating that she breaks the character she’s built for herself once in a while#i 100% believe that I don’t think she would have caught on to what Phoenix was trying to do while stalling for time with engardes trial#so it’s probably a good thing edgeworth subbed in but she literally busts her ass to bring evidence to court#almost right after having a bullet extracted from her WHICH SHE ALSO PRESENTS AS EVIDENCE. thats metal as fuck ok#especially since she would technically have nothing to do with the case after edgeworth fills in and she still decided to do that anyway#maybe it was blind faith to use that evidence to win since she wasn’t there for most of the trial but still#and even if canon doesn’t give it to me I still firmly believe there’s be at least some chemistry between her and Maya#like especially if you hold it next to wrightworth that works bc there’s already a history there and majority of Phoenix and miles trying#to relearn their relationship is Phoenix coaxing out that side of Miles that he remembers from fourth grade#but with Franmaya it’s something new and they’re basically strangers to each other and one of them almost got the other convicted#and I still think that’s fascinating and it’s a damn shame thay half of the fics I find for them on ao3 is background in wrightworth fic#i did find a good one that touched on Franziska trying to win pearls approval because Pearl does hold a grudge against her#and seeing that trying to live up to perfecting even her personal relationships without getting to know Pearl to even know#why it wasn’t working feels believable when I think abt her as a character yk#myart#my art#doodles#aa#ace attorney#franziska von karma

#tales from diana#text post#if you don't leave me plans and just post something for em to do on google classroom#i do this magic trick. where i make my sub note disappear#(if you don't put in the effort to contact me. i won't give it to u. no hard feelings)#no but in the high school it really is no hard feelings. cuz i just sit there and make sure they don't kill each other#if they aren't gonna spend their time wisely. they are old enough for it to be THEIR problem not mine#except in special ed. that's basically the only time. although as a sub. usually the paras take over more (not that i do nothing)#which makes sense because like. they work with those paras every day and i'm less familiar w them and their learning styles#lol i've had incidents in special ed where i'm like. i can't tell if this student is trying to be off task and distract me#or if they just ARE distracted#because i don't know the kid! it can be either or. you don't wanna assume. but you do suspect sometimes 🤨#they're kids like any other. in that they'd rather not do boring work (i can't blame em)#subbing special ed can be really fun if the lesson plan is good though. if the lesson plan is dull then fuck that no one wanna be there#in which case if you wanna distract us both actually. do ur thing i'll probably have more fun that way too

crying because why the fuck did i pick a three year course of latin i can barely string a sentence together in english and it's literally my first and basically only language
#('basically only' bc i did french for most of my life and spoke it with my grandma and great grandma as best as i could)#(and then quit it to do latin)#it's a three year course right#and i could choose to quit after the first year when i had four shitty teachers#(one never turned up. one was just a sub and knew nothing about the language. one was a math teacher who did it in school.#the last and best was an english teacher who did it in school and uni.)#anyways i was like “oh surely it wont be so bad with a good teacher and i can catch up”#so i didnt quit#and now i have to do latin for another year once this one is over#im crying i actually hate this#i dont hate latin but like#i really struggle with learning languages#and everyone in my course (12 ppl incl me) are super crazy smart#so no one asks non-intellectual questions#and at this point my façade of intelligence has been there too long and i cant ask for help more than i normally cant#i also have no friends or even people willing to say more than two words to me so uhhh#yeah not fun. at all.#except the war and blood and murder#that's fun

broadly it refers to a submissive partner taking control (or trying to take control) from a dominant partner. from my understanding it was originally referring to a negative thing (i.e. a sub going against negotiated terms of the dynamic without consent / signifies probable miscommunication of some sort)

#rat rambles#stars posting#new game+#we'll see if I do enough with this sub au to give it it's own name#but yeah piéride vc well clearly my loops broke because I had it too easy *throws like two tutorials at loop before fucking off*#it doesn't help that ultimately they just. don't see themself in either siffrin. at least not until getting to know them better#they see themself as being here to make sure loop doesn't make the same mistakes as they did#and since from their perspective loop Wasnt making those mistakes during their endless death march they didn't do shit#they also never directly spoke to loop like loop does to siffrin so loop genuinely didn't know abt piéride during their loops#piéride still continues to be distant and not particularly helpful after loop becomes loop but theyre at least willing to talk to loop now#mostly because they view their role as loops guide as having shifted from helping them not break the loops to helping them guide siffrin#needless to say they aren't fond of loops methods#they won't stop loop tho since they don't want to risk breaking things more#to be clear they didn't explain their perspective basically at all nor supply any of the deeply valuable info they have#at least not until far later#you see they have a pretty crippling fear of finding answers as they'd rather keep bashing their head into a wall and hope it works than#know for sure that theres nothing they can do abt something#the whole reason they made their last wish was because they finally let the others in and let them help them find answers and the#conclusion they came to broke them#so going from that to being a guide left them just wanting to stay as distant from any real problem solving as possible#also because they think it was them wishing for basic qol stuff that broke their loops they think direct intervention is a bad idea#because evidently the universe gave them nice things and died for it so they should learn from that and do jack shit for loop <3#look they were stuck in their loops for at least a decade of course they got some shit stuck in their head

So. One Piece. It’s time to admit that my only prior consumption of it was…the 4kids version. 😅 Which I remember enjoying quite a bit as a kid, and I only really stopped watching bc it went off the air in the US, and when it came back, I was just finishing college and moving across the country. So like. Priorities. 😅
Anyways, so idk if it’s bc of the absolute botch-job of the 4Kids version, or simply that it’s been nearly 20 years, but yooooo I Do Not Remember Zoro being this hilariously aloof. 😂 I don’t really remember him having much a personality at all tbh. But I hope this live action version is at least semi-accurate bc his drunken deadpan is killing me. 😂

Well the FreeLuigi sub is cancer, but BTM has actual case discussion. They’re a bit harsh on him and tend to speculate an uncomfortable amount about his personal life, but they have actual lawyers on there, are the first to post updates, and they poked some pretty huge holes in the prosecution’s timeline back in December itself. They hate the Kpop fangirl bullshit (and Ashley) as much as anyone else. The subs actually dedicated to Luigi are fill of delusional morons who genuinely think his MAGA cousin is the real mastermind. A lot of the case discourse that gets repeated on Twitter and Tumblr originates from BTM.

also i personally do not see any difference between a sub that babies him and actively gets into his cases/harms his cases and a sub that thinks of him as a true crime documentary and calls him a psychopath every alternate day and they're both filled with a lot of the same old people anyways. the only nice thing that comes out of either of those two subs is when they get the lawyers to give their opinion faster and that happens because of 1. the way reddit works 2. they have a lot of people there. the other sites would be getting that kind of information anyways but just a bit slower, also reddit's forum like format greatly helps drive discussions unlike the other sites.
#also if you're thinking other sites are discussing the same things because that sub did it first haha lol#people there are actually older than most of the people talking about the cases in other sites#for the tumblr people we all are like college kids we don't get info as fast and don't start talking about it as fast because we're busy#and we can't and this applies to like most of the people here#twitter is also basically the same thing except the talkative people are a bit more varied#reddit just holds all the conversations first because people there are mostly way older than most of us in other sites#also there's too many people there on reddit (and they're old too so they also know more stuff)#and they have actual people who know stuff talking about stuff and they can be called up easily#(nothing like law people anons we have here because they're on anon and we can't always call them up they're here when they want to be here)#and that's okay!! reddit speed running convos because its innate advantages does not suddenly give them the credentials for being better#they're way worse than what happens elsewhere actually#the way they react fast is also the same way they freak out fast like they did with the new orleans letter#and like not to forget reddit still remains the only site to have been mentioned by both prosecution and defense#and they actively hate all the young people liking him#even tho they're the grandmas who go like i shouldn't find him hot he's my son's age but...#also please don't fangirl over reddit here me and my homies (all of us here i.e. all the people running the blogs here) hate reddit#asks
