this is the face scott makes when he's held in his moment of complete and abject failure btw. they linger slow zoom on it yeah
i can make this about sceo too watch this space. the way asthma has been an object of differentiating scott's human life from his werewolf one, and in season 5 it's fashioned into a weapon to weaken him to theo's advances, both physically and emotionally, because of the way scott conceptualizes both his own humanity AND more importantly his weakness! the only thing that makes his lycanthropy worth losing his humanity for is when he can protect others with all the strength and ability that's exclusive to the version of him that can only exist after he's been victimized by a monster in the woods and made into something else without his permission.
being human is a weakness and a longing, and asthma is the exact device that the story and theo utilize to stoke both. theo's introduction as an old friend who had asthma too and felt protected by scott's firsthand experience about it is a narrative nostalgia for this exact dichotomy in scott's mind. the beats of ouroborus are note for note his underbelly of that double edge sword of needing to be the guy who saves everyone because he's the alpha werewolf or the guy who thinks he'd be better off human i mean dead if he can't. scott makes a plan to save the monster of the week that used to be a teenager and it fails and liam's life is on the line now too and he hurts corey to save him and it doesn't even work, and the moment of scott's despair is accented with an inhaler and the vain denial to use it! and what does theo do!!! he not only saves liam where scott couldn't, he embraces scott in that moment of failure instead of tackling him to the floor. and after that episode, theo is not just a new member of scott's pack but his confidant, while stiles only gets further and further away.
theo consistently holds up scott's sense of responsibility like something to dangle in front of him in one hand while he accommodates scott's failure by design in the other. he helps set him up to fail and then can sell himself as the only person left in scott's corner who both still has faith in his capability as this protector scott feels he's failed to be to the rest of his pack, and refuses to bail on him when this belief inevitably falls short because of direct sabotage at the same time, for better or worse. scott didn't know it at first, but stiles goes from that same place of faith in scott as this umbrella of doing the right thing and saving his loved ones to suddenly being braced for scott's stinging rejection, from quite hard-earned trust built both before scott was turned and after, to distrust, all because... well, stiles is human, and he needs to get his hands a little bloody sometimes, and scott isn't. they can't all be perfect, true alphas, etc. theo foils stiles just as well as he foils scott; he's both someone who knows the human version of scott through this same symbol of weakness / asthma, and a lone wolf that can only be protected from what that means by finding an alpha, let alone this exact one that used to be a childhood human friend. but theo also resents that scott's a real werewolf at all, envies it, tries to steal it. kills him for everything he both idealizes and resents about him, for what scott never even wanted. can. anyone hear me
#srb#j rewatches teen wolf#and then he finds out it was a ruse!!!!!!!!#CRUSHINGGGG to me like#god!!!!#and then he spends the several episodes post betrayal trying to convince his friends he can still save people he's still worth keeping#and the narrative confirms it! they save stiles' dad together and that's what it takes to begin the reformation of his pack#sick and twisted and evilllll#like the moment theo tosses scott's inhaler to him when he needs it and liam makes That Face at him#for needing it while he's actively refusing to use the power exclusive to him and him alone that might Might save hayden and Might kill her#and it's fucking poisoned it's not even real!!!!#theo was this safe place to be weak only to be the source of the weakness itself#like the complication of that safety and shame at the same time#and it was a lie anyway#what do you do with that!!!!!#look at his face he doesn't even know what to do with it when he thinks it's real!!!#i need to end my stupid baka life#ok disclaimer this isn't a stiles hate post although i don't disassociate w people who do <3#but the interplay of this concept with all three of them is soso chewable to meee and stiles is the one that falls short narratively#he fucks UP. and i'm tired of pretending he didn't!#theo fucked up because it was a lie vs stiles fucking up because he represents the opposite of this grace for scott and it's. honest#barkbarkbakrbarkakk#anyway. the way the guy who betrays and kills him is the one to accept him as an asthmatic teenager incapable of saving people#instead of any of his real pack members at the time#messy <3

HIII!! Can you write a Hwang into x fem!reader fic where we do hardcore drugs, cutting and we have bpd. We get into a drug debt and sign up for squid game, as the games begin we realize that the games are not simple as we see the corpses on the floor lying in a blood bath but we strangely feel.. aroused?.. to say the least. Blood and organs has always been our fascination because we have worked at an organ harvest black market before. We meet young-il, a strange feeling of wanting to devour him as a meal (literal cannibalism) fills our senses. Its straight up two fucked up people in love & obsession runs in the air. In the purge night we kill someone, chasing them in the dark room while they pace around for their dear life, the sounds of people choking on their own blood fills the place. In the game mingle young-il grabs us quickly, our nails digging into his flesh as we feel how soft and chewable it is. In the last round of mingle both of us run into a room just to be met with two other people (like in the show but +1 person in the same room) while young-il strangles one, we stab the other one with the blade we hid in our pocket. Thank you!
ill be honest this does seem like a very interesting concept and i could incorporate these elements into a fic but i dont think i would be able to write about the drugs or the cutting part (mainly because i honestly dont know how to. and because cutting is something that is a little triggering for me to write about) the cannibalism aspect is also very interesting. i cant make any promises but if i do write about something like this i'll be sure to tag you :)

I keep thinking how Silvhen and Lucanis might not actually work longterm but then I think that‘s silly because the eluvians still work and neither of them has to give up their home.
To clarify: Silvhen is my veiljumper and a creature of the wilds and forests. Treviso is pretty enough but they don’t like cities and buildings. They sleep the best and are happiest outside in nature. What they really don’t want to do is deal with crow politics that Lucanis has to deal with
Lucanis on the other hand obviously would stay mostly in Treviso to deal with the aforementioned crow politics (unless he leaves the crows but even then I have a hard time imagining him frolicking around forests) and he loved his city. He loves Treviso and the finer things in life.
I do not know yet how I will bring those two concepts together longtime. As I said probably eluvians, but it is also interesting to me that they have breakup potential. I just never had a ship that doesn’t work out like that (on the surface) and it‘s fascinating. Chewable even
Ideas and suggestions for this situation are welcome

im sorry that ive only experienced bones through you so my understanding is necessarily limited but i am so in love in love in love in love with celia booth
im just chewing her like a piece of gum and folding her over and over and turning him inside out and im arriving at a place where he started taking steroids and straight up t while in military to be one of the guys (statistically theres gotta be some physical culture nuts on a military base that would have access to the gear so its plausible enough) and that gave him kind of a weird sick hunger that he squashes down as flat as his tits under the plate carrier
and i really like how youre drawing them kind of ambiguous too like the latest piece you posted (as of me writing this) if seen breasts like that on both trans dudes and trans women so it really adds to the chewability of this concept i love it i love you hang on now im looking up wiki summary of seeley and wondering if they could have attended college on a field hockey scholarship and its past midnight and i need to go to bed and you have given me a blorbo to chew on thank you very much

Another review :]]] I havnt done one in ages
Devil may cry 1,4 and 5 , also the reboot. Not a book review but since I just got through dmc 5 let me try and give my thoughts/recommendations.
Dmc 1
The first game in the series , in my opinion is a good game for it's time. Capcom were still figuring out the mechanics and how it will flow the way it did in later games, I mean it's 22 years old and for that I can't really criticise I think It holds up for it's time and deserves the reputation it got, it was a strong base that let the dmc franchise take off.
What I love about it is the charm, the charm of an old game made silly and fun. I mean we all saw that sword cut scene when Dante rises up without a scratch- it has that dmc charm of unable to take itself seriously. I also love the level designs as well, especially at the end in mundus's battle.
What I don't really like is the difficulty. Some of it may be down to my skill issue. However I believe that those bosses are not for the faint of heart and the puzzles can be god awfully confusing sometimes. The reputation it got for being so difficult I can see was well earned .
If you wanna play dmc 1 go for it I recommend it greatly but it can get difficult at times.
Dmc 4
This is a mixed bag. Personally holding a place in my heart due to being one of my first video games.
What I like about it; for sure the combat , the upgrade from 3 to 4 in terms of just design and the capabilities are immense and capcom took it and ran with it. It's so satisfying and neros rev up engine is so damn cool. The world design is beautiful and the bosses are also really fun to defeat. Most have mixed feelings towards the story but I love Nero and Kyrie so I was all down but I was of course also in it for Dante which yet again capcom grabbed and ran with. It's so silly and you cannot take it seriously and that's why I love it so much (also to make it clear it still holds up while having the amount of freedom to make silly cutscsne)The plot itself can't even be taken seriously, a cult and an old man called the saviour wobbling around like a moulding raisin. Screaming reform and shit. I genuinely cannot with this game.
What do I dislike; the backtracking and repeating of bosses, and the puzzles. The puzzles aren't fun especially the dice one and you redo the bosses backtracking as Dante and that's why most people dislike the game it feels unfinished and at the end a drag , I can praise it for what it holds but it feels like a genuine bore at times.
Dmc 5
I love it , the dmc 3 references it's so chewable and the combat and the story. I have no hate or criticism , go play it please.
Dmc reboot
Oh boy
I actually enjoyed it quite a lot...the character appeal isn't there and I couldn't get attached till the end and thats why it got so much hate including how generic it was. That dmc flair I keep mentioning was wiped off and we were given a shit excuse for it "it's not cool"
Fuck you capcom
However I loved the combat yet again and the world design. The bosses were also really fun to play against and overall I don't have a hell of a lot to say. I mean they put a lot of good concepts such as limbo in but Dante was it's downfall as an annoying little man whore that only cares about himself.
Notes: I had fun reviewing the games may go into dmc 5 a bit more but I'm too tired

Thanks for the ask sides!
19. Top 5 favorite books? (the nerve!)
Edit: i just realized i only listed 4. apparently i don't know how to count
I'm cheating and instead of listing my all-time 5 favorites, I'm naming 5 that fall under the same theme: varying narrative structure. I adore when the story structure becomes it's own character so much. This is in the order that I read them (all are works of fiction):
House of Leaves - Mark Z. Danielewski This is a narration inside of a narration and none of those narrators are reliable. I love it. If you ever read it, you MUST get the physical book. Reading it is filled with footnotes and formatting chaos and the experience is a labor of love. It reads with authority yet nothing makes sense. It has a quality of being sourced yet none of the sources exist. It's magic.
Breakfast of champions - Kurt Vonnegut The narrator is omnipotent. The narrator is omniscient. The narrator is a character. Let me repeat that: THE NARRATOR IS A CHARACTER.
Vonnegut gave this book a C, and I disagree. There was something a bit mundane about the story, yes, but the story-story is never the real point with Vonnegut - it's about all the small themes and satire and dark irony and obscure lines that are bingeable and slurpable and chewable and leave you mulling it over and bring you back to chomp down again and again (imo).
Heartburn - Nora Ephron This isn't the most outrageously obscure style, but I can't not include Nora Ephron, my beloved. If you like When Harry Met Sally, this is that on steroids. The narrator spends most of the time speaking to the reader; filling them in with her inner thoughts and comedic turmoil over her failed marriage. The funny bit? It's also supposed to be a cookbook, so recipes are randomly interspersed.
A Visit from The Goon Squad - Jennifer Egan Disclaimer: I read Manhattan Beach before this and I was so turned off that I almost didn't read Goon Squad. I am STOKED I ignored myself.
The narrative style of this book was pure genius to me: each chapter is a different character. This isn't revolutionary, but what feels revolutionary is that: 1. each character's perspective never repeats 2. each chapter is written in the style of that character (POV, prose, everything) and 3. everything is connected but the chapters are not sequential. They all build onto each other from different points in time to establish a world/web of links.
The cleverness and layering of the narration style was, for me, the story. It was in the way the author crafted each character with a unique take and perspective and set of motivations that really drew me in. There was the realness and pettiness and aspirations of the characters paired with the 'how does this all fit together' at play. So many layers and the author spoon-fed NOTHING which made me read more intently. It became a game: I wanted to build a mental map of all the relationships and felt a jolt of excitement when another link was made.
Bonus recommendation: Candy House is the sequel. It has the same qualities (I actually started reading this one first by accident, and the funny thing is that everything would still make total sense if read in the wrong order). Candy House introduced some concepts that I wasn't as fond of, but still absolutely worth a read.
46. Who is your favorite author?
Oooh, this is hard. Can I cheat and say I haven't found my favorite author yet? I've tried for years to pretend Vonnegut isn't my favorite author, but it's Vonnegut. 100%.
48. What line has stuck with you for years? "All this happened, more or less." Speak of the devil. This is the first line of Slaughterhouse-Five, and it's a line worth reading again once you've finished the book.

I do want to chew a bit and that's a literal sentence picture me chewing a nonphysical concept like gum on the lore of Dialtown with how phones are made because there is the intention to create this complexity around Callum and his decisions which I'M ALL FOR IT honestly because last time I saw a talking phone tell about his backstory I was left so shocked I had to take a break so it does make me wonder some things like... What even are the negatives of this? Of course it's an operation so it takes time and effort but even on top of that, what age is the surgery done at? How painful is the recovery? Do you need to undergo multiple surgeries as you grow up and your body grows? Is this even optional or is it a matter of peer pressure? Callum's goofy ass self induced dementia makes everything all the much more questionable because you have a world wide build up because of course <- I have feelings towards USA but no final point. I just super adore these things the story has it's so chewable.

HELLO i just wanted to say that i love you so muuuch!! i recently finished reading playing for keeps and oh. my. god.
your kevin is the most adorable thing I've ever seen i want to eat him alive (sorry, I'm vegan actually but...)
tntg and pfk is the masterpieces i know what I'm talking about. perhaps you can give some advice for fic writers? i love you sm 😩🤚🏼
OH WOW nice to me thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! and wanting to eat kevin alive is the average kevin day experience he is just chewable!!!! i guarantee
and aiya advice for fic writers huh. i dont know if my advice is worth much if anything at all but from the top of my head here are some things ive picked up over the years that will hopefully serve someone somewhere
presentation actually matters!!!! a properly formatted fic is not only delicious to read but also helps with keeping you in the story, i know this because i am a bad formatter (so sorry) and whenever i go through my fics and see a mistake i'm immediately taken out of it! just make sure it's easy to read and you have formatted it to the best of your abilities
brevity is the soul of wit. unfortunately. this is by no means i'm advocating for only short sentences (we all love tangents!) but i think it is good to vary on sentence length and save your longer lines for things that are important to note down! this image has been going around for years now but i still think its one of the most helpful pieces of writing advice ive ever seen
Tumblr media
side characters are your best friends!!!!! i think as fanfic writers sometimes we want to get to the point and focus only on our mains, but it does add a lot of flavor and texture when you have small storylines happening along with your main plot, especially if you're doing an in-depth character study. life exists even when we're not seeing it!!!! give your side characters interesting stories and relationships!!!!
writing is about FUN and your questions regarding your storyline should never be "what is the most logical thing that could happen now?" but "what is the most interesting thing that could happen now?". this is a sin aftg fans commit the most when talking about aftg but i am here to tell you that no plot is too ambitious. nothing is so out there that you can't write about it! no concept is too wacky! interesting should come first; you worry about the logic in later edits. most readers are more willing to forgive an interesting plot with technical problems than they are willing to forgive a boring story that is perfect writing-wise
i think this is all i have! if anyone would like to add something theyre more than welcome to

HI HI BLUE!!!
Reviving the topic of Silver taking health care for the first time but towards Gold: How do you think she would react to vaccines, injections and, specially, liquid and chewable medicine?
I figure Onyx City has rediscovered and reinvented a few of the vaccines Sonic's world had, but I pretty doubt they have even ¼ of what used to exist, plus maybe some illness got erradicated due how isolated the city is, but yet I guess she could be a little familiarized with needing a shot and be less resistant to such?
Meanwhile I pretty doubt Onyx City has any non-tasteless-pill medicine, so this girl would probably have a bad time with these.
Hello! ^-^
I cannot speak for the comics, but in the world of Genesis, Onyx City has massively advanced its healthcare and excelled in both curing people and preventing them from falling ill. Not only did the city get destroyed a full century after Sonic's era's time, giving it a hundred years of scientific advancements before the whole world went to hell, it's also got decent enough databases on past illnesses and ways to cure them. Furthermore, with such a strong focus on science and inventing on top throughout the city's lifespan so far, I think healthcare would have been quite a popular topic of choice for many scientists! Not only does the city have literal millions of people crammed on one island that only a select few can leave, it is highly dependent on having a massive chunk of that population either working in the factories or keeping the city infrastructure running. Even the Council knows that their city's wellbeing ("wellbeing") is going to crumble the moment too many Teal Class members or low-ranked scientists are incapacitated! So, perhaps ironically, Onyx City does have a decent enough healthcare system. They've taken the road of preventing people from falling ill in the first place and curing them as quickly as possible if they do anyway, in order to limit drops in productivity and absences in the workspace. To the point that I can even see them inflict punishments on people who are caught shirking on going to the doctor, to ensure the city's overall health is not threatened!
On top of that, Gold has as benefit that she is basically the fifth-highest ranked member of the city (or supposed to be, at least. She certainly doesn't get respected that way😅). The Council's got themselves the best doctor in the whole city to care for the five of them privately. So I think Gold is quite used to receiving vaccines and medicines to prevent her from falling ill, to the point she might have become quite desensitized to it. And even if the medicine was quite yucky and the vaccines left her feeling ill, she knew better than to complain to the Council, who strangely enough never really seemed to suffer any negative consequences themselves... So a decade of that has made her quite pliant and meek about needing to be treated by a doctor, basically. She's not fazed much by the concept, even if needles and pain and what-not do make her freak out on the inside. And she'll be baffled when Silver hovers over her all protectively and tells her it's okay to be scared and he'll be sure she's alright and she can hold his hand if she wants. It quickly makes her realise Silver's strong dislike for needing to go to a doctor, but she is grateful for his helpfulness all the same <3

Folic Acid in Prenatal Gummies: Why It’s Essential
Tumblr media
Folic acid is one of the most important nutrients for a healthy pregnancy, particularly for the early development of the baby. It plays a crucial role in forming the neural tube, which later develops into the brain and spinal cord. Many prenatal gummies include folic acid to ensure expecting mothers get the necessary amount for fetal growth and development. Here’s why folic acid is an essential part of prenatal nutrition.
1. Prevents Neural Tube Defects
One of the primary benefits of folic acid is its role in preventing neural tube defects (NTDs). These are serious birth defects that affect the brain, spine, or spinal cord, including:
Spina bifida: A condition where the spine doesn’t close completely, leading to mobility issues.
Anencephaly: A severe condition where parts of the brain and skull fail to develop properly.
Studies show that taking the recommended amount of folic acid before and during early pregnancy can reduce the risk of NTDs by up to 70%. Since the neural tube forms within the first 4-6 weeks of pregnancy—often before a woman knows she’s pregnant—getting enough folic acid early on is essential.
2. Supports Red Blood Cell Production
Folic acid helps the body produce red blood cells, which are responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. During pregnancy, a woman’s blood volume increases significantly to support both herself and her baby. Without enough folic acid, anemia (a condition where the blood lacks enough healthy red blood cells) can occur, leading to fatigue, dizziness, and complications for the baby.
3. Aids in DNA Formation and Cell Growth
Folic acid plays a key role in DNA synthesis and cell division, making it essential for the rapid cell growth that occurs in early pregnancy. Every organ and tissue in the baby’s body depends on proper DNA formation, making folic acid critical for overall fetal development.
4. Reduces the Risk of Other Birth Defects and Pregnancy Complications
Beyond neural tube defects, folic acid has been linked to a lower risk of:
Cleft lip and palate
Congenital heart defects
Preterm birth and low birth weight
Preeclampsia (high blood pressure during pregnancy)
Ensuring an adequate intake of folic acid through prenatal gummies can contribute to a healthier pregnancy and a lower risk of complications.
5. Convenient and Tasty Way to Get Folic Acid
Many women find it difficult to take large prenatal pills, especially if they experience nausea or morning sickness. Prenatal gummies provide a tasty, chewable alternative, making it easier to take folic acid consistently. Most prenatal gummies contain 400-800 mcg of folic acid, which is the recommended daily amount for pregnant women.
Conclusion
Folic acid is an essential nutrient for pregnancy, supporting neural tube development, red blood cell production, and overall fetal growth. Since neural tube defects occur early in pregnancy, taking prenatal gummies with folic acid before conception and in the first trimester is crucial. With their delicious flavors and easy-to-take format, prenatal gummies ensure that expecting mothers can meet their nutritional needs for a healthy pregnancy.

NeuroByte is a conceptual exploration of the future of intelligence, technology, and human biology. Through an approach of speculative science fiction, the project envisions a revolutionary device: a chewable gum that enhances learning and information retention, connecting the brain with technology on a deep level. This concept not only plays with the intersection of the organic and the digital but also raises philosophical and ethical questions about how we consume knowledge, how technology can integrate with our cognitive processes, and to what extent we can redefine the nature of learning. Aesthetically and narratively, NeuroByte blends a minimalist, futuristic style with an almost advertising-like approach, evoking the sensation of a real product that could exist in the near future. The project’s visual and sound design, with a carefully constructed brand identity, reinforces the idea that access to knowledge could become as simple as chewing a piece of gum. Ultimately, NeuroByte challenges the viewer to imagine a world where education is no longer a tedious process but an immediate, sensory-integrated experience. To what extent could technology hack our mental processes to optimize them? Is learning a matter of effort, or simply a problem of connection?

Vitamin Gummies Private Labels: A sweet path to health
In recent years private label vitamin gummis have become increasingly popular somafina, changing the way that consumers think about nutritional supplements. These sweet and chewable vitamins represent more than a passing trend. They are a step towards personalized health solutions. Private label vitamin gummis combine nutritional benefits with a delicious taste, attracting a broad range of health-conscious customers.
Private label market has boomed. This is where retailers brand products manufactured by third-party producers. Quality vitamin gummies are now more affordable. These products are often in competition with national brands but offer a cheaper alternative without compromising quality. Retailers are able to customize their product offerings to cater to specific consumer needs. They can offer gummies to suit dietary preferences, including vegan, gluten free, and allergen-free. The customization of gummies allows retailers a way to stand out in a competitive market.
The taste of vitamin gummies under private label is one of the most attractive features. The gummies, unlike traditional tablets and capsules, are easy to eat and available in different flavors and shapes. This makes them appealing to adults and children who have difficulty swallowing pills. The format is enjoyable, encouraging regular usage. This is crucial to getting the most out of supplements. The concept is simple: people will take vitamins more often if they find them enjoyable.
These gummies, which are sold under private labels, can be fortified to meet specific health objectives, including boosting the immune system, improving energy levels, and improving skin care. As the nutraceutical market continues to evolve, these gummies incorporate ingredients like omega-3 fatty acids and adaptogens that cater to consumer demands for multifunctional items.
It is also possible to attribute the success of vitamin gummies under private label to marketing and branding strategies. Retailers can capitalize on the modern packaging design and targeted marketing campaigns that resonate well with health-conscious shoppers. These brands are able to build trust in the market by emphasizing quality and transparency.
The market for these products is growing, and so are the standards of scrutiny. Retailers need to make sure that the gummies they sell under their own private label adhere to strict safety and health standards. Customers are more educated and demanding transparency in regards to ingredient sourcing and production processes as well as potential health claims.
Conclusion: Private label vitamin gums are a great way to combine health and customer satisfaction. The gummies make dietary supplementation fun without compromising nutrition. These sweet, purpose-driven confections will continue to be popular as health and wellness trends continue to evolve. With continued innovation, and a dedication to high quality, private-label vitamin gummies should remain a staple for the supplement market, appealing to health enthusiasts of all levels.

Let us look more closely at the reasons behind the successful flavor paan franchise, and how we are raising the bar in this industry.
1. The Rise of Flavour Paan Franchises in India
