Royal Enfield has unveiled the new Super Meteor 650 bike

At the EICMA 2022, Royal Enfield finally unveiled the new Super Meteor 650 bike. After the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the new bike is the third 650cc bike that the company has released. The 648cc parallel-twin engine from the other two motorcycles is used in the Super Meteor 650. The new Meteor 650 has been given a cruiser design language, similar to that of its younger sibling, the Meteor 350, in contrast to the other two bikes. Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green are the five colour options for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Solo Tourer model. The grand tourer version of the Super Meteor 650 Tourer will be offered in two colour schemes: Celestial Red and Celestial Blue. The bike's cost and availability in India haven't been made public yet.

The riding position is one of a cruiser's key features. The Super Meteor is the closest to the 700cc segment that it can get. The bike has wide, pulled-back handlebars, a low, scalloped seat, and fully forward foot controls. All these design modifications, according to Royal Enfield, will give the rider a sense of belonging to their motorcycle. According to Royal Enfield, the bike was developed in collaboration with Harris Performance. The all-new chassis offers a low centre of gravity for high-speed stability and easy manoeuvrability. Among the notable additions are USD forks, LED headlamps, a TBT navigation system, and redesigned engine covers. Bar end mirrors, deluxe footpegs, solo finishers, LED indicators, machined wheels, a deluxe touring dual-seat, a touring windscreen, a passenger backrest, deluxe footpegs, long haul panniers, a touring handlebar, and LED indicators are just a few of the accessories that will be included with the bikes. "We have always had a different approach to building motorcycles, and our new cruiser, the Super Meteor 650, is the next evolution of this approach," said Siddhartha Lal, managing director of Eicher Motors Ltd. We designed the Super Meteor to be completely pleasurable to all senses as a result of our own long-distance riding experiences as well as those of our customers. The riding ergonomics have been fine-tuned to offer a leisurely, yet in-control riding experience and the overall premium fit-finish of parts and materials evoke visual and sensory delight. The engine is extremely refined and responsive and offers a relaxed part-throttle experience at highway-plus speeds.
