Sonic Hero Shooter Fancast

Hey uh, so, I really like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals, and y'all know I love Sonic the Hedgehog. And recently, I've seen some really good videos, posts, ideas about what other franchises would look like following the Marvel Rivals formula, so I figured why not take a crack at it with my favorite franchise?

I think there's a lot of potential here! I have a whole roster of ideas, but I just started with some classics. The overall goal was to make sure that I didn't lean too heavily into the Damage category, and fairly show love to Tank and Support (my main) roles.

So we got Sonic: a fast moving dps hero with a lot of movement and follow up options. With him, it's all about the flow state and combos.

Then Tails: a steady support hero with options to heal, boost abilities, and move allies around. For Tails, control and options are the key.

And Knuckles: a solid tank hero that wants to dive into the action. Based on maintaining aggression, his Maximum Heat will provide boosted attacks and shields to allies.

Let me know what you all think! This took some effort, but was really for fun. All the art comes from official sources, and is edited to fit the style. I have three more hedgehogs next if people want to see more!

this might be a controversial take but...

every time a new vanguard or strategist drops I see motherfuckers up in comment sections talking about how " if you never played tank/ healer before this season I don't want to see you touching [insert new character]" but like as a vanguard/strategist player... weren't we bitching about having to solo heal/tank like a few weeks ago??? yea there's gonna be a learning curve but if it gets new people to do something other than instalock dps I'm not going to complain.

As a common complainer support main, I hope you all realize that the SECOND Cyclops is added to marvel rivals, I will become the MOST frustrating DPS main there ever was, and I take no responsibility for that.

If ONE more person on overwatch complains about me in QUICK PLAY I'm pulling the trigger! Clean up aisle MY DEAD BODY!

No but seriously I've noticed so many more people complaining recently about supports especially when they are playing specific to their hero (like not having super high healing on lucio or brig or not using some skills on like mercy or lifeweaver at certain points). It happens mostly in quick play too like guys... this is basically the practice games for comp or to get better at the game. It's not even always directed at me on support me and my friend just had a match where someone was complaining about my friend having 1k dmg on sombra (she had more kills than me but I had more dmg) Like A. It's quick play and she doesn't play sombra that often and B. It's not that serious WE WERE LITERALLY ONLY LIKE A MINUTE IN WHEN THEY STARTED COMPLAINING. I feel like people have just become like WAY more whiny this season maybe it's just the matches I happen to get because I was like 10x more active last season and didn't get hardly this many complaints. They're also in comp but not as bad as qp which is so ???

Anyways remember to thank your supports, even the ones where you can't tell if they're healing you because they are definitely still trying to help you (PLEASE THANK LUCIO PLAYERS I PROMISE IM HEALING ITS JUST SHIT UNLESS I COMPLETELY HEALBOT WHICH REMOVES ALL OF MY VALUE)

Sonic Hero Shooter Fancast - Amy Rose

I messed up the one for Shadow by making it a reblog, but I'll make this one separate. Never fear, Amy Rose is here! So I typically get bored with the concept that the girl characters are always support, but I think Amy works like a Zenyatta/Mantis type support, where she's doing damage too. She's also the backbone and leader a lot in the comics, so it works for her, I think.

She uses her piko piko hammer to attack for sure, and fortune cards to augment her allies and herself. Plus, she gets that silly invisibility from Sonic 06, mixed with the wind from Sonic Heroes!

Got Marvel Rivals today and have played a few rounds so far. Shout out to the Doctor Strange player who was the only one in all the games I played that stayed behind to protect my squishy support ass. This is why he's my favorite Marvel character.
