Ishtar hasn't been long in the monastery, holding herself up in the Abyss and trying to gather what strength she can feel her in fingertips. But winter is already at the doorstep - frost becoming the day and chills blazing through the air. There is no hiding from the elementals, no matter how deep one burrows in the ground.
So Ishtar ventures upstream for once. It's an unpleasant experience to go about the school in vibrant daylight; the mage sojourns through the many fields and paths with a listless air of twilight. She has nothing, she wants nothing, there is nothing.
It's only when a small gathering of students buzzing with exciement catch her attention that Ishtar stops. Violet eyes lower to the frozen ground and subsequent pond. They seemed to be making a game out of it. The princess ventured further but only watched.
"How fun...." she mused, watching a ginger-haired girl. Would she, too, take up the lake? "To be free for a moment. To glide under the sky like a bird...." @classybrawler

[ TEA ] - Just what it says on the tin! The only teas offered are Mint, Bergamot, Sweet-Apple Blend, Albinean Berry Blend, and Southern Fruit Blend, wrapped in small tea bags. Some students, having anticipated a small selection, bought their own tea. Socializing and standing around is all fine and good but to be honest, Panette is itching to be a bit more useful. Sure, the mood is getting better, her mood is getting better, and the party is still alive, but it’s not like there ain’t any issues.
She personally can’t help but feel a bit cold, for one. Maybe she’s just used to the Solmic deserts, but something to warm her up more would be well appreciated. And there’s bound to be someone else who feels the same.
That is how she found herself holding two cups of tea. One for her, and one for another. Just need to figure out who that another is.
Eventually, walking around, she found someone who might appreciate a warming drink. A man whose outfit seems to be a combination of clothing and swimming wear. Honestly, it’d be quite a genius idea, if not for the downpour outside.
Moving towards him and looking closer, she’s momentarily surprised by what seems like massive, floppy ears, almost reminding her of a bunny. That’s pretty neat! Briefly she ponders if she would have been more shocked at this if she wasn’t acquainted with three fell dragons and one divine dragon. She also considers it a blessing for this man’s sanity that she’s the Boss’ retainer attending the party, lest he be accosted by questions about life as a rare critter. She can’t help but smile fondly at the thought, before shaking her head and getting back into focus. She finishes the trek over to the not-bunny man and offers him a cup of tea, still on its plate, sharing it with her anchor charm.
“Greetings! I had noticed you whilst wandering this estate and could not help but worry as to whether or not you were feeling cold. I most certainly am myself. I figured a nice, warming cup of tea could help the both of us with that. It is Sweet-Apple Blend; I am not the fondest of how bitter some tea can be, so I brewed what sounded to be the sweetest one. I hope it is to your liking! And, additionally, a charm is included in case you would want to continue the trading game.” She gives a polite smile.
"Y-yeah! Sure!"
Yarne was losing it.
Where was Forde?
Did he make it unharmed?
He was planning on having a night with him when the storm came in and he didn't see Forde get into cover where was he where where where where where-
"Let me..."
But tonight was not a night he could risk losing. This wasn't the monastery, where he could run and hide when things went as they were now - oh so wrong.
This was a place of a noble, and very, very far from either of his homes.
He may as well be doomed if he lost his head. So, he tried to play along with the normal behavior he had.
As if his truest of confidantes wasn't blown away from whatever he knew.
Wouldn't be the first time Naga ripped away the few Yarne felt safe with.
"Here."
Shaky hands pull the pin off of his ear, placing it in the orange-haired woman's hands.
"Sorry, just... kinda unprepared for how tonight went..."
He knew that this would happen.
Why does this always happen.
"And thanks for the..."
He takes a small sip of the tea, sighing quietly as he does. It's good.
Not good enough to calm the storm outside, or inside himself...
But still good.
"Tea. I like it."

📜+ Ghost
“A Ghost is the lingering spirit of a dead person, usually haunting the area they call their resting ground.” She speaks enthusiastically, with a lot of theatrics.
“Most people find them horribly frightful, but I personally adore them! They are ever so charming and fascinating.” She claps her hands in delight, a big smile on her face.
Her heart is clear and her words speak through her hands, through her being entirely. Leanne is hardly one to refuse a joining in on such wonderous feeling.
Where words are a bit hard to recall right, the ones she does are positively terrifying. Her chest hurts and yet as such elated voice spoke, she would not allow herself to fall into her own ideas.
"Ghost!" She tries to be just as enthusiastic, hopes to the goddess that she's said the word right.
"F-frightful..." Calming the highs of the atmosphere, eyes of evergreen grass fell to the pavement.
"Spirits...safe. Good." She looks back over to the enthusiastic woman who was dressed most adorably. "Spirits protect."
"Ghosts good!" If they were spirits that stayed then they would simply have to honor them as they need be... a ghost -- a spirit -- wouldn't harm those who didn't harm it. With heart still, she can say she truly believes that.

[ CAVES ] - There is a collection of caves that some on the beach might have ducked into in order to find cover from the elements. It’s cold, and you can hear the wind whistle as you huddle deep within the dark, waiting the storm out…
These caverns are so delightful! Nice and gloomy, outside wind positively howling through them, and of course, there may be ghosts! Of course there *might* be another explanation, but a spooky, gloomy cavern in the storm? Near the ocean where shipwrecks could happen? That’s a ghost territory if she ever did hear it!
“Where are youuuuuuuuuu, ghosties? I just want to talk with youuuuuuu!” Trudging through the caves as her voice reverberated, eventually she spots with her eye something unusual, and her steps quicken. When she finally makes her way over, she finds… a figure inside what appears to be a pit of balls? How utterly intriguing! This MUST be the ghost!
“My sincere greetings! I am Panette, and I have been seeking you out for a while now! You are the ghost haunting these caves, are you not? Oh, I can see the situation so clearly now. A party, much like this one, and similarly, a storm approaches. You and your beloved ball pit were caught completely unawares, and as such got swept away. Clinging to them with the last of your strength, your spirit materialized here, and now you haunt this place, ready to cast storms whenever another party happens. You poor thing.” She reaches out to pat above his head, not actually touching it since, well, it IS a ghost.
“Whilst I personally enjoy the weather, I do not think my friends and acquaintances do, so I come asking if you could bring back the still night sky instead. I even have an offering for you! This anchor charm. You might not have been kept safe before your tragic passing, but now, this might help your spirit calm and allow you the passage to the afterlife you deserve.” She holds out the anchor charm with both hands, a gentle, reassuring smile. She hopes this poor spirit can find peace on this fine night.
Huh?!
“I am…not a ghost!”
Hearing other partygoers roaming the cave site was slightly comforting, as it was proof that he wasn’t the only one who managed to end up here and if anything it could even serve as a possible explanation as to how he ended up there in the first place. Maybe someone took him along and he was out cold for some reason. Who knows.
But there were many people in here that he had never met before, students and staff alike, which was both interesting from the point of view of forming new bonds…and mildly unnerving as it meant being stuck in a cave with a bunch of people from a party who may or may not be inebriated. The Abyss was one thing, this weird cave was another.
Proof: The situation at hand.
Lambert had heard this girl approaching, and thinking she was just messing around and having her fun, perhaps even searching for a friend, he paid little mind to her calls. It was only when she was directly next to him, deciding that he was the ghost and trying to pet his head, that he knew he somehow had been added to her entertainment list without knowing. “See- I am very much alive, mind you!” His circumstances were unique, to say the least. “As for ghosts, I do not think this place is haunted…why do you search for spirits in the middle of a party, anyway?” It didn’t make sense-
An anchor was given to him, and through politeness he exchanged it for his starfish. Further proof that he was very much alive and entirely physical. “Thank you for your kindness- I hope this serves as proof that I am by no means some wandering specter.”
My afterlife is going pretty well, okay?!
That didn’t need to be said. It didn’t make sense in his head either. All Lambert could do was pout.

a kiss between enemies who should be fighting (( pretend like this is from panette.... lmao ))
kissies :3 (accepting)
"Panette, doll, shouldn't you be on the other side of the battle?" Zephia glances up, setting aside the sword she had been scrapping absentmindly against the ground. The smaller woman is before her and Zephia grabs a strand of her long orange hair as she stands to circle around Panette like she's some sort of vulture waiting to swoop down upon her prey.
She kisses the ends of the girl's hair gently, smirking before picking her up into her arms like the little doll that she was. She plants another kiss on Panette's lips before abruptly dropping her on the ground.
"Run along now. Wouldn't want to get... caught, would you? Don't worry, I'll give you time to get away. But remember dear little doll, we are enemies."

[ CAVES ] - There is a collection of caves that some on the beach might have ducked into in order to find cover from the elements. It’s cold, and you can hear the wind whistle as you huddle deep within the dark, waiting the storm out…
This stormy atmosphere is a fair bit more to Panette’s liking. Obviously she doesn’t like being sopping wet, that part’s an absolute pain. She’ll rejoin most of the people in the main house to continue the party in a bit. But for now, finding a dark, dank cave? While rain cuts through the air, and the winds howl and whistle like they’re angry and restless? Oh it just makes her think of all the best ghost stories!
Full of excitement, she turns towards the other person in the cave. “This location is absolutely sublime, would you not agree? The piercing rain, the howling winds, the frightfully dark caves, oh, it makes the heart quicken in fear. Perhaps if we are extraordinarily lucky, a ghost shall appear before us!”
So wrapped up in telling her lovely tale, she had not realized until finishing that her fellow cave dweller looked to be a bit on the younger side. Crap! Ghost stories and huntings are fun and all but she ain’t here to terrify someone who could be impressionable! Quickly, she fumbles for her charm and holds it out, trying to fix her absolute gaffe.
“That said! I am sure that if we trade our charms, that shall ward off all evil spirits, meaning the only ghosts we may end up seeing will be friendly ones. You have absolutely nothing to fear!” Nailed it!
Of course — of course the ONE year she has the ability to actually partake in the festivities, they get rained in. Because why would it be any other way? When has it ever been any other way?
If this ‘goddess’ the people praise so much is real (though really, she has her doubts of that), she would just love to have a word. Or two. Or at least fifteen solid minutes of yelling because clearly whoever thinks this is funny needs their head examined! What has she done so wrong to deserve this suffering? All she does is be helpful!
“If this is what you find ‘sublime’, perhaps the goddess isn’t the only one in need of an examination..” The quiet mutter comes out almost unintentionally, green-haired girl slumping back against the wall of the cave across from her newly forced acquaintance with a frown. Normally, she never would’ve had to care about things like this. She had no idea just how much of a pain wet hair could be. Not to mention wet clothes…
Sothis sighs, finally breaking her gaze away from the storm outside to actually look at her far-too-cheerful companion. Foolishly cheerful, really, but not entirely unwelcome. Better to be stuck with someone who can still be of some entertainment than one who does nothing but complain without end, after all.
…Or perhaps not.
The sudden change in demeanor makes her raise a brow in confusion. She was so… happy, just a moment ago. What changed? There wasn’t any sort or thunder or lightning outside — not that she had noticed, anyway.
A charm is forced upon her, and finally, something clicks.
Oh.
OHHHHHH.
“Hmph. Rest assured, should any such ‘evil spirits’ roam amongst us, I shall scare them off.” Sothis’s chest puffs out slightly with a proud huff, smug smirk alighting her face. She must be scared! And this must be an offering of her asking for protection! Finally, someone with manners. It’s so nice to be asked for help rather than just demanded of it.
“Though I suppose if it would make you feel better, we may trade. I have far too many as is, I see no harm is sharing.” Turtle is separated from her own stash, and soon placed in the other’s hand in turn with a smile and comforting pat. “There. Now you may consider yourself safe as well. No harm shall befall the either of us, ghostly or otherwise.”

@atefirom sent:
Okay so, she’s never seen a ghost, but this may come close. Panette stops in her tracks. Blinks. This, this is real, right? To be sure, it is not an “a real live emblem is here” kind of awestruck but more of a…
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Her voice bounces off the stone and across the hallway, sure to garner some looks in her direction. Remembering where and how she tries to present herself, she clears her throat and places both hands clasped in front of her in a more docile manner. Schooling her tone back to neutral to draw attention off her, she says, “Ahem. That is what I heard that… that bandit say when I encountered him again. Small town.”
She wears content now with a satisfied and pleasant smile as people shook their heads and moved along. That expression quickly falls as she strides toward the gaudy bowed freak.
“I don’t know what kind of trick you have going on here but…!” She begins, but fails to finish what she started. A rare occurrence indeed. Is there a real reason to be upset with her being here? Maybe, maybe not.
Admittedly, she did feel a twinge of pity for the girl in front of her, maybe even empathy, moments before she.. Well. But that doesn’t explain why she’s here. Panette releases an annoyed huff of air and crosses her arms. “Hmph… I guess it’s ain’t none of my business really… Carry on.”
Tumblr media
She hears the girl far before she sees her. Marni is no stranger to being sworn at and generally speaking, she tended to deserve it. There's not really much of a point in pulling punches with someone who isn't going to do the same. What is strange is hearing someone trying to soften their words after swearing at her. Most didn't bother.
This girl… wasn't she one of Solm's royal knights? The one with the goofy outfit and the weird face paint? Marni had threatened to kill their queen and splatter her blood all over the palace, so the yelling definitely tracked. This one was, indeed, totally on her. She did do that and only felt a little bad.
Marni rests her knuckles on her hips, all bravado and conceit.
"Surprised? Guess I'm harder to kill than everyone thought!" Marni grins, leaning forward. "If you want me dead, you gotta try way harder than that!"
(That's not true. She remembers how that knife felt in her gut. She remembers getting lightheaded as blood gushed out of her wound. She understands just as little as everyone else how she might still be alive.)
This isn't the island Marni had been on for a whole month. She's back on monastery grounds now, which means she can no longer act as recklessly as she had. The walls here have eyes and ears; she can be sure that if she steps out of line here, everyone and their mother will know about it.
So instead of taunting further, she steps back.
"I'm not gonna get into any fights where Lady Veyle can see, so as long as you mind your business, I'll mind mine."
...Probably.

Lady Lachesis is doing her damn best to calm her down and she really appreciates that, but unease still stirs within Panette’s body. What if the stealing of a towel is one of this land’s biggest taboos? What if she’ll be exiled back home and the boss’ll meet her and be disappointed in her and-
No, she’s being absolutely freaking ridiculous right now. She is Panette. She’s braved learning all the Solmic customs. She stood tall and brave against Sombron. A damn towel is not getting the better of her on this night, not when she’s finally starting to feel good about things! She gives herself a gentle few slaps on the cheek to psyche herself back up.
“M-my sincere apologies for these mood swings of mine, Lady Lachesis. Truth be told a part of me still aches with nervousness, but you give some very convincing points. Well, asides for taking the blame. It is quite noble of you, but I would feel quite horrible making you shoulder my mistakes.” She still looks slightly unsteady, but a smile starts to creep back onto her face.
“I would still very much appreciate accompaniment for the conversation. However I have also come to the conclusion that if our situation sparks outrage in the towel’s owner, it may in fact reflect more poorly on him and not me.” Truth be told, these words are still really rough to swallow, and she’s not quite sure she believes them but what’s the alternative? Look like a floundering idiot in front of a very polite and friendly woman? This is probably the lesser of two evils.
“I suppose I ought to put this back where it belongs. It was a pleasure meeting you, Lady Lachesis, even if the whole ordeal was a bit hectic.” She gives her a reassuring smile and heads off. The entire party might be an absolute doozy but at the very least the people she keeps meeting are real nice and friendly. Here’s hoping Fauntleroy will be similar, or else Panette might have to stop herself from petty retaliation in the future.
[End]
It is a strange experience, seeing the fear she only slightly possesses in her heart reflected in full in front of a cheery face earlier. Perhaps it’s comparable to a distorted mirror, except with an entirely different person standing on the opposite end. Lachesis’s already faint smile wipes itself away to meet Panette’s concern halfway.
“I would not jump to conclusions so hastily. It is entirely possible for names to be engraved on all towels within his estate…though I cannot confirm that, considering this is the only one I’ve seen,” Lachesis mutters that last part, realizing the difficulty of calming the storm when uncertain as well.
She shakes her head, choosing a more direct approach. “If it were up to me, the taking and use of a towel that should easily be dried by tomorrow should only be seen as a trife crime,” Lachesis’s smile partially returns, but is not a full one. Up to her is quite a loaded statement, when she is, in fact, not Fauntleroy. The academy surely teaches their noble students manners…yes?
Simple suggestions of what could happen are not going anywhere. With a sigh, the princess begins folding the already-wet towel neatly in her hands. “I can accompany you to go over the misunderstanding with the man of the house. If there is anyone to blame, it is me for consuming the cloth without a second thought.”

Engage Localization replacing Pandreo's Party Screams with wolf howling is a bit funny because in doing so Pandreo absolutely eclipses another Solmian's wolf coding, and no, I'm not talking about Merrin, who is obviously and visibly a furry. Rather, I'm fully willing to argue Merrin's wolfiness is meant to be seen as an extension of Timerra's wolf motifs.
Timerra is the one who spends every other support talking about and loving meat. She has a pack of domesticated wolves she rides on all the time even if she doesn't use them for combat herself. Being future Queen of Solm AND Leader of both Known Furry Merrin and Panette, who had a stint as a feral bandit child with her own pack of domesticated wolves, Timerra is clearly coded as the Alpha Wolf of the pack she leads, with Racket of Solm being akin to their group howling. It's just that Pandreo not only has no direct 1-on-1 interactions with Timerra or Merrin, he is also overwhelmingly more popular than them (thanks to gameplay usefulness if nothing else, but you can bring race and gender on this discussion if you feel like it) and has his howling be on the forefront of everything he does, while Timerra's wolf motifs require a minimal amount of digging and putting together, so the end result is that Pandreo gets the vast majority of the Eng Fandom's wolf jokes, with Merrin's own wolfiness being seen as a standalone thing rather than an extension of her connection to Timerra.
The localization wasn't even actually trying to intentionally obscure part of Timerra and her retainers' characterization here or anything. Solm just has a fuckton of wolves now.

Tbh I don’t quite understand the sentiment that Engage doesn’t have good or any worldbuilding at all, like tf is up with that. First instinct would be “them 3H fans again!!!” but other long time FE fans also consider it lackluster and idk I don’t agree.
Each of the four nations all have surface level distinctions, but in-depth internal layers, such as...
Firene values peace, gratitude, and its harvests, tea, and medicine. It’s the kingdom that would usually be taken advantage of, but the reason it maintains its peace is through aggressive policy done by its leaders, currently by Eve and very notably followed up by Celine. Medicine and health is taken seriously cuz the last king died from an illness, the same illness which the current and well loved prince is suffering from. The Firene retainers are all nobles sans Louis, who is noted to have gotten his role because of his domestic skill in tandem with his martial prowess; this implies a sort of status quo, one that’s maintained to keep things peaceful, though not overly enforced to the point of oppression.
Brodia is wealthy and martially strong, yet prideful. The nobility is noted to take advantage of the constant wars on Elusia, as it fuels economy, which in turn fuels more wars. The wars against Elusia themselves are partly an extension of Brodia’s pride: aggressive expansion done in the name of “keeping a wicked nation in check” and to further Brodian way of life. Because strength is valued, the Brodian retainers are all common folk who proved themselves, sans Citrinne, who develops a complex about her strength because of it. Mining is the primary income source after warfare, something that Diamant wants to shift towards to the dismay of war benefitting nobles.
Elusia is the kingdom of knowledge, and as such, is the only nation noted to have a major place of education. The arts and the leisure seems to be highly valued here, due to an author, an artist, and a native to a hot spring centered village being recruited. Retainers, like in Brodia, are decided by strength or capability; after all, you don’t often have a Crown Princess’s servants be a former assassin and a former prince without skill and knowledge being paramount in the decision making. Hyacinth has too much love to go around, and so has a wife as well as many mistresses, and many children as a result. Knowledge begets avenues of possibility, which means one can use said knowledge to selfishly get ahead (such as the Elusian court where backstabbing and fake platitudes to appeal to the King and Queen were common place) or to benefit the world around you (Hortensia using her intellect and talent to help war victims, and Ivy utilizing Elusia’s creativity and innovative practices to better the public’s wellbeing). Seeking knowledge, however, can entrench one in dark practices, which is why the worship of the Fell Dragon went from notable to beligerent and dangerous.
Solm values freedom, and is notable for being a strict matriarchy. Only women take the throne, Merrin’s village is only ran by women, and Panette and Pandreo’s family church was headed by their mother. While open minded and easy going on the surface, Solm having its own elite vigilante group and having spies throughout the continent means that the queendom takes measures to ensure freedom very seriously; these actions are similar to Firene, which is brought up in Celine and Fogado’s support, and the two themselves are indicative of each of their nations cultures. Unlike the other nations, there’s no strict basis for who becomes a retainer, since you have a chef, a priest, and two runaways. The people of Solm live their lives how they want, and its culture is more open to entertainment and large gatherings than other nations.
And this is just what I whipped together from memory. I’ve no doubt that there’s tons of other minute details that, when pieced together, form more descriptions of the nations as a whole. This, to me, is on part with how the GBA games and Echoes built their worlds. Very solid in depth readings, with surface level broad strokes to entice the player in should they choose to put more hours into learning the ins and outs. And that isn’t even getting into the artistic directions of each nation and the characters (like outfits, seasonal representations, food/ingredients, etc.). Hell, the entirety of Elyos is shaped like a ring for crying out loud! It’s screaming “yeah the rings are this central to this world, enjoy your stay.”
I like that. Engage knows what it is and what it wants to present. No more, no less.

So the figure standing before her is not a ghost, but in fact a fellow student. A part of her wants to say it is a shame but that’d be ridiculously rude. She’s happy to meet another student just as much, even if the meeting is slightly painful.
Still a shame about the ghost though.
“The apologies are all mine, I should have been more careful whilst ghost hunting. It is a pleasure to meet you Morgan! Let us hope that the storm clears up soon and we can return to the regularly scheduled festivities.” Ok, that might be a slight lie, but she’s not about to tell someone hiding from the rain how much she wishes it carries on.
As the trade is made, she is about to speak on something else, when suddenly Morgan gives her a warning and a mention of weird noises. Weird noises in a creepy cave? That could only mean ghosts! Well that, or some other partygoer is lost in which case she could still help out. Or it's some animal, monster, or other sort of bestie. But just as importantly, ghosts! Immediately her eyes light up with joy as she claps her hands together in excitement.
“I was unsure if I would, but now that you have reassured me about the ghastly noises you have heard, how could I possibly not go further in? I promise I shall be on my utmost guard. Ooooh, mayhaps this ghost might even be the source of our stormy weather! Oh, to find and greet it and get it to stop the rain would be an utter delight!”
Mind utterly made up and resolve hardened, Panette starts skipping away deeper into the cave, almost slips, and then makes hasty but careful steps further into the depths of the cave. Making her way further in, she once again fills the cavern system with echoes as she starts calling out for spirits.
“Oh ghoooooooosts! Will you not show yourself to me? I merely wish to talk, and mayhaps convince you to stop the rainfall!”
[ CAVES ] - There is a collection of caves that some on the beach might have ducked into in order to find cover from the elements. It’s cold, and you can hear the wind whistle as you huddle deep within the dark, waiting the storm out… Panette hums to herself as she walks around the caves. Who woulda thought such a cool place was hidden just nearby?
“Oh ghoooooosts! Are you out there? Perhaps any ghouls? I shall also accept poltergeists, even if this is an odd place to find them! The weather is so lovely, come on out!” Her voice echoed throughout, breaking the monotony of the rainfall.
Distracted from looking around the cavern, she almost smacks right into somebody as she makes a turn, stopping mere centimeters away.
“Oh! My apologies, I completely failed to notice you! I was so busy trying to find ghosts in this charming cave that everything else just seemed to disappear.” She lets out a polite laugh. “You are not a ghost yourself, are you?” A slight sparkle appears in her eyes at the possibility. She fishes out her anchor charm and holds it out to the boy in front of her. “Regardless of your ghostliness, I shall hope you accept this charm! Either to trade as part of the game outside if you are not a ghost, or simply as an offering if you are!” She gives a big grin and a thumbs up.
Tumblr media
His first thought, unlike most everyone else, was to head for the cover the earth provided when the storm hit. He had already been soaked from his previous endeavors that night, but what was outside seemed to pose more than a simple dousing. Morgan's masterful tactician plan was to wait here until it was safe to book it back to the estate, where he could dry off and hopefully rest his weary limbs.
While the cavern was damp and cool, it provided enough shelter that he could relax as he strolled around to find a good place to wait. As the lad's feet dragged about, he began to hear something echoing within the walls of the cave. Loud and uncannily inhuman, whatever it was, Morgan could not make it out. A chill ran up his spine, and he picked up his pace, moving a little faster now, hoping to get away from whatever was howling like that.
Turning the corner in a hurry, Morgan smacked forehead-first into something—no, someone. "Augh! Sorry, sorry!" Rubbing the pain away, he looked up to spot an unfamiliar girl with an even more unfamiliar style. As he sized her up, outfit and all, she began to ramble on, as excited as one could be in this situation. While it might have been odd, something told him he shouldn’t be surprised by this at all.
"Hey now... I'm not a ghost. My name is Morgan, and I was just waiting around for the storm to clear up a bit." That reminded him to peer behind the girl to check on the state of things outside. Yikes, still as rough as before. "I'm sorry to disappoint, but it seems you'll have to keep searching if you want to find a ghost. I can help you out with that trade, though!" Casually reaching for the pin, he replaced it with one of his own.
"You seem capable, but be careful anyway. I heard some weird noises coming from around here..." Maybe he should go with her to make sure she was alright. He didn’t really want to find out what he had been running from, though. Choices, choices… “Are you uh… still planning to go deeper in?”

also I notice you are diehard diamber—(me too! Their supports are cute :D)—but are there any other ships you like for Diamant, amber, ivy, or Zelkov?
yes!!!! i do like zelgetsu a lot! they're so funny and cute together! zelkov and kagetsu are just 1000/10 characters on their own as well hehe
I've drawn them in my usual style and as chibis (for a comm), this is kinda old art but i really like those two :)

and YES! I love diamber lol glad to find a fellow diamber enjoyer!
as for other pairings for them, i do LOVE amber/zelkov A LOT!!!!!! their supports were just OOOUGH so cute! amber basically inviting zelkov to live with him and his family in the alpaca farm ;; CUTE!
for diamant, if it's not with amber then i really enjoy the diamant/alfred ship! i feel they compliment each other well plus they can bond over being crown princes of their respective kingdoms, etc
for Ivy I'm a die hard panette/ivy enjoyer lol
Tumblr media
i would die for them your honor!
another ship for ivy i enjoy i suppose is ivy/fem!alear, they're very cute as well (:
anyway thank you for asking!!!

Panette and Pandreo's support about coming to terms about how abusive their parents were and how they had to grow as people so it no longer hurt them affected me on an emotional level

I LOVE ready quotes. I feel like they are one of the biggest ways you interact with the characters, so they really influence how I feel about them. Here are some of my favorites, in completely random order. (Would love to know other people's favorites, too!)
Ignatz- "Ready, anytime!"
Seteth- "Guide me well."
Constance (dark)- "Sally forth!" (Unrelated, this quote is why Constance is my husband's favorite character.)
Ashe- "I'll give it my all!", "I'd be honored."
Sylvain- "I'm on it.", "What's the plan?"
Felix: "I'll go."
Dimitri- "I'll cut through!", "I'll comply."
Claude (injured)- "I'm hurt, but I'm with you."
Marianne (post ts, injured)- "I won't run!"
Byleth: "Stay focused." (I have written this line into a ridiculous number of fics.), (injured) "I may not survive..."
Caspar- "Put me in there!" (which always makes me want to sing "put me in, coach".)
Lindhardt- "I'm awake..."
Bernie (injured)- "I'm gonna haunt you if I die."
Hubert- "I'll cut a bloody path."
Edelgard- "I WILL prevail."
Jeritza- "Under-stood." (It's the delivery with this one.)
Manuela- "There's no stopping me!"
Yuri (injured)- "All in."
Balthus (injured): "Still the king!"
Bonus ones I really like from other games:
Kagetsu: "Come and face me!" (I think this was a solid 75% of why I S supported him. The delivery is amazing.)
Mae (injured): "Sure, I'm still hyper. Let's GO!"
Gray: "COME AT ME, FOOLS!"
Kamui: "Feelin' good."
Pandreo: *howls*
Panette: "Verily."
Alfred: "For you, anything."

do you have a fav rarepair right now?
Replaying through FE Engage again made me ship Amber and Panette. Their supports are delightful and actually end with them going on a date! It's a shame I can't make them get married for real lol
