Lan Xichen hasn’t picked up Shuoyue in years.  Even holding her in his hand brings back so many memories.  He shuts his eyes to center himself and just as he was about to throw her away, he hears someone approach.  He quickly opens his eyes at that.  “I, didn’t think anyone would approach this spot”

“oh my bad.” mulan stopped to apologize to the other after their shoulders collided. “i’m sorry. i wasn’t looking where i was going.” she added, offering a light smile to the girl. “can i make it up to you ? perhaps coffee ?” she offered.

"Oh, that's okay. It didn't drop on me or something like it" Lonnie replied to the woman having her hands, the sense of familiarity being so strong seeing this woman in front of her. "Oh, you don't need to worry about it, really".

Curiosity killed the cat, and Bella was beginning to think that it might kill her, too. Wasn’t all of the danger she’d been in over the years because of her own curiosity? She shouldn’t have looked out the window, shouldn’t have gone into the streets to find the dangers that lurked within the darkness. She did the only thing that she really knew how to do, in dangerous situations: she ran. She had been in dangerous situations before, but this one took the cake. She ran, and she huffed and puffed as she did so, until she ran directly into someone. Cold. She thought it would be one of the many creatures that had come out on this night, since she had mostly been looking behind herself as she ran, instead of looking ahead. She took a few steps back, finally looking at who she ran into, and felt relief instead of fear. “Alice?!” She asks, in a shouting panic. “What is going on?! Have you seen Carlisle?!”

He was just standing by the entrance of the hospital when suddenly someone crashed into him. He looked back. “Woah where is the fire?”

sophie was busying digging in their back, not even looking up as they walked, trying desperately to find their apartment keys. she could’ve sworn she had them when she left. they definitely should have stopped walking, pulled off to the side of the walkway, but as their hand reached further into her bag, feeling a hole right at the bottom of it, a string of curses came just as their shoulders collided with another. “i-- i’m sorry.” they said, looking up, hand retreating from inside their bag, rubbing their shoulder. “i should have stepped out of the way. are you alright?” || @svfetch​ for fa mulan

“I never thought I’d say this, but I think I actually prefer living in a small town to this,” so much was unfamiliar to her, even though she’d been to Washington DC before, it had been a few years since that had happened and she wasn’t sure if she liked it or not yet. especially not with faces from home she didn’t want to see again.

She had just had Victoire before she arrived here and didn’t know what was going on. If her baby was with Bill. If they were safe. She let out a very slow and slightly sad sigh. She had always hoped on having a big family. Maybe three or four kids but now she was here, alone as far as she knew.
