So how does Axle feel about meeting his dead beat dad and how do his siblings feel about this?

Well, as a child, Axle didn't know about Breakdown at all. Bee wanted him not to have to worry about grown-up stuff and let him live carefree. He was under the impression Swindle was his sire, and Swindle was fine with that. Je cared for Axle as his own for several years before Breakdown came back.

Breakdown actually scared Axle when they met since its someone he's never met before/looks a lot like him.

During their first encounter, Breakdown kept pestering him, which made Axle uncomfortable, and Trickshot tried to tell him to go away, but Breakdown basically ignored her and even fold her to beat it when he got annoyed.

Swindle, of course, gets involved, and both him and Bee have a tough conversation with Axle about his biological sire.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Swindle wasn't exactly known for his charity, his own name blatantly gave that away. But you were is precious little human, his shining gem among all the rubble

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He'll use money that he gets from scamming people to pay for your dates together, along with any gifts he can pick up along the way

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "Hey there, my little treasure! Don't worry, I'll keep everything of yours safe and sound. What's yours is mine, dear, and I take very good care of what's mine"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He's jokingly scammed you a few times, namely to doing a chore on his night to do them or convincing you to cut a deal for extra time by his side. It's all in good fun, he saves the serious schemes for strangers

ᯓᡣ𐭩 You sometimes get carried around in his chest compartment so he can have you nearby as he works, though he makes sure you're never caught in the place he links it to

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He gets fiercely protective of you if you're ever around during a fight, cradling you in his hands and making sure you're never out of his sight for too long

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He loves showing off for you, and takes immense pride in any compliments you make towards his appearance. He especially loves when you notice that parts of his plating can glow

ᯓᡣ𐭩 He definitely confessed to you by making a sales pitche about how he's got so much to offer as a sparkmate, literally selling the idea of himself to you in the most endearing way

swindle is OFFICIALLY a decepticon, but if the autobots have something to exchange, then he's not gonna back away from a deal.

he's definitely closer to unaffiliated and both sides know that, but the cons aren't about to say he's NOT one of them because it fluffs up their ranks a little bit and swindle is VERY valuable for gathering information when soundwave is otherwise busy or indisposed. besides, it gives him a place to stay, free energon, access to a medic, and peers who either turn a blind eye to or encourage his hobbies (swindling), so he's not about to actually go unaffiliated.

but these days, with megatron getting as impatient and unstable as he is, swindle knows his position is on the rocks and, though he'll never admit it, he's kinda. scared about that. he's getting a bit desperate, but he's hiding it well.

the thing though. is that you can't hide much from blurr.

see, during his wrecker days, blurr was often the negotiator because he used to be a celebrity. he's got a silver tongue and he's not a pushover, so he's very skilled at turning a deal towards their favor. so he's dealt with swindle before. he KNOWS swindle. he knew that swindle wasn't very attached to the decepticons, knew that swindle plays for both sides, knew swindle's tricks and plays like the back of his hand, because he's dealt with people like swindle before the war even started.

and frankly, swindle was kinda fascinated by this. he'd pegged blurr as just a pretty face, and was surprised (and a little annoyed) that he was far smarter than he let on.

so it was kind of inevitable that swindle would want to try and figure out what made blurr tick, and that blurr would be deeply amused by this, and that they'd end up meeting and talking off the record.

those few days that blurr disappeared after leaving the wreckers? he was talking to swindle. he was driving and he was talking to swindle. swindle was the one who gave him the idea to become a spy, because "you're fast, you're agile, and you're nosy as all hell. that's a dangerous combination."

so when swindle starts acting just a bit off and blurr immediately sniffs it out, it's kind of his own fault.

where things go from here? i have yet to decide. but maybe they kiss a little about it or somethin who knows. who said that.
