Groupement Syntec des Syndicats d’Études et de Conseils.

Il est utilisé principalement pour actualiser les clauses financières des contrats d’ingénierie, de personnel en régie, de maintenance et d’informatique. Sa valeur est calculée chaque mois à partir d’un sondage réalisé auprès d’un ensemble d’entreprises représentatives.

L’indice Syntec est reconnu par le ministère de l’Économie et des Finances depuis le 11 juin 1974.

i always debated with myself if nelson was this cruel pre-syntec or not:

what makes the most sense to me is that the manipulative and calculating traits he displays in 863 were always there, but the power that being an owner of an up and coming successful biotech company gave him an outlet for his inner feelings to truly come out.

he and wesley went to harvard together (i’m pretty sure it was just them i don’t think deb went?) and came off as very close - you don’t just offer to start a company with a random person. yet wesley always seemed to have a very positive view of him despite what he actually was like.

i believe that either nelson hid his personality well, or wesley looked at him with rose-coloured glasses. it took an awful long time for wes to actually believe deb about what his true intentions with syntec were even when deb said that nelson literally handed her a gun and told her to kill him.

in general he comes off as very pretentious and thinks of himself as the best person in the room even when he is actively losing like at the end of season 3. this behaviour could link back to him attending harvard, which probably enlarged his ego significantly tbh.

i hate nelson but also he’s very interesting because i feel as if he had to have some underlying problems with control pre-syntec to be able to hide ALL of this while being celebrated in the community.

contains: flirting, language, alternate canon, Nelsons a bitch but you dont care, reader is a brat, light sexual tension, ben is sick of you two.

a/n: i have so many requests i need to do but i had to write for nelson. anyways this is short and slightly rushed so srry if its bad.

The cold air of the spire hit your face as soon as you opened the hatch. Maybe Nelson was right when he said not to wear those tights. You hopped down to the floor, landing with a soft thud. Nelson was already working on the screens ahead, Ben standing off to the side. You approached slowly, glancing at what he was doing.

"Any buttons that blow us up?" You asked playfully, leaning against the console.

"No. But I'm sure you'd find one." Nelson replied bluntly; he never was one to be careful with his words. If anything he made them as mean as possible just to piss you off.

"yeah yeah whatever you say, but you know I'm your favorite employee."

"You're my only employee." He finally glanced at you, his eyes icy blue.

Nelson didn't have blue eyes of course, he had green ones. You only knew that from the old Syntec days before he had died where you spent every meeting staring into them. But now that he was using Matthias as a vessel, he, unfortunately, did not have the same emerald eyes.

"What about Ben over there? He counts right?" You pouted. Being favorite was only fun if it was by choice.

"I control his every move. He doesn't work for me willingly. You follow me around like a rodent. There's a difference." His sharp gaze moved back to the task at hand. He sat down in a stool. There was a bit of metal clinking nearby but you assumed it was just the chair.

"Well, I think we're ready. Ben, why don't you go the surface to see if subject 4 has solved the code." Nelsons voice was low and demanding as he turned to Ben. "Also...deal with her." He spoke as he turned towards the ladder. You followed his gaze and saw a frightful Sam holding a camera. She began going up the ladder hurriedly, Ben followed after her.

You smirked. looking at Nelson who was looking at the screens ahead thoughtfully.

"You gonna take control of me after this is over?" You asked, leaning forwards.

"Please. What's the purpose of taking over any one if i don't have your bratty little self around." Nelson replied, making you a tad flustered.

Ben came back down the ladder, paper in hand. Handing it to Nelson.

"Peppermint. Interesting."

Nelson entered the code and opened the glass covering around the big red button that would give him control over everyone and everything in this timeline.

"You ready?" He asked, looking into your eyes with a hint of fondness.

"You own the future right?"

"No, we own the future." He replied with a smile and pressed the button.

The screens lit up green. He had won, no, you had won. You looked over at Nelson who had a huge grin on his face. He looked at you, and for a moment you could see the real Nelson in his smile.
