Despite jjk already being tragic for multiple characters, it’ll be beautiful if Yuuji manages to save Megumi from Sukuna. One of the best aspects of their relationship from the start (although possibly not the healthiest) has been their unconditional desire to save and be with each other. Megumi telling Yuuji to “start by saving me” was such a significant moment in helping Yuuji continue moving forward and not isolate himself away from Megumi and the others. And, while killing Sukuna is considered to be the priority of the characters Yuuji has consistently been planning ways to save Megumi too, and arguably one of the only characters to push those plans too. The same can apply to Megumi too, with his soul drowning after possession, suppressed after seeing his sister and mentor die. At his lowest, I would love to see Yuuji and the others be there for him too. It wouldn’t fix anything that’s already happened, but it would be a start towards healing

Imagine making your god so annoyed of your fighting he creates a whole love child based on you and your rival. Like, how do you react to that?!

Also they don't know about Heavy Iron at first! Primus transports them away to Machina so they would have no clue about him! The moment they find out they're shocked, how could he be their child?! They can't even do that!!! And when they find out PRIMUS HIMSELF made Heavy Iron, god how do you even react?!

Optimus has to deal with that knowledge more because Heavy Iron is with the bots at the moment. He doesn't know if he should act fatherly to him, or act like a mentor. He tries both, but Heavy Iron keeps ignoring. So Optimus is at a loss. It doesn't help that the matrix feels like it's laughing at him

Megatron has to take a minute to take the reveal in and he still doesn't fully believe it. Primus, their creator, made a child out of spite because of their fighting, how do you take that in? Megatron does like that Heavy Iron is extremely strong and keeps trying to get him to join the cons. But because of Jun and the Metal Breath it's not working

Primus is insanely even more annoyed. Even after the reveal the two are STIL FIGHTING!! He made a child in the hopes the two would stop and it did nothing!! At least Optimus Prime is trying, but still. The war has been going on for a long time, and that's from a god who has been around since the start of the universe! If he could he would put his head in his hands, he sooo tired of these two

What's the origin of your blog title? Well that’s simply because I got a tiny bit hyperfixated on the Neuvichili ship (Neuvillette x Childe x Zhongli from Genshin Impact) during the Fontaine patch, and that out of the 100 fics that exist for it, I wrote like, 65 of them? 😅 And since I posted them on anon at first, the neuvichili author name stuck.

I Made MORE Princess Bee Fanart:

Sup, I had my wisdom teeth ripped out of my head, which means I had pain and time to kill! That means I made more fanart for a miraculous ladybug AU created by @princess-of-the-corner, because it has gripped it's claws into my brain and will not let go. AU is called Princess Bee.

I made a short, sketchy comic based off these two posts involving Adrien getting akumatized by a Butterfly!Lila and her finding out about the ENTIRE sentikid nonsense through his emotional meltdown. Beware of tonal whiplash.

Explanation of AU under the cut (as well as a little bonus drawing). I did not come up with this idea, go read the Princess Bee tag on @princess-of-the-corner! (and all the other AUs and fics going on over there, they are so cool).

Anyway, sometime before season 5, Chloe gets disowned/emancipated and skips town, where she goes to law school, gets therapy, and eventually has a daughter named Dawn. Shortly after she leaves, an altered version of the S5 finale goes down where a Wish is made that prevents the current Team from using their Miraculous again. Lila, with nobody left to get revenge against, disappears underground to do low-scale cons. Ships sail and children are had. And then everything goes to shit many years later when the Adrienette kids find the miraculous and take them on a joyride that ends out VERY on the news, which causes Lila to resurface. At the same time, Chloe gets dragged back to Paris due to Andre's death and failure to update his will. Now it's up to the Next Gen kids to stop a new Butterfly under their parent's guidance, all while everyone is navigating a complex web of interpersonal relationships!

Bonus: Butterfly!Lila design. Technically, this could be for anything, since Lila is all geared up to be the new main villain and Butterfly holder of Miraculous, but I designed this with Princess Bee in mind, so she's an adult. I based her off a purple empress butterfly, and also could not remember Cornerverse's Butterfly!Lila name for the life of me, so I named her Empress. I don't love the name, but I don't hate it either.

The magic summon scroll:

Ancient, can only be destroyed by incredibly powerful mystic magic. Cannot be destroyed by the mystic sealed in it. Several scrolls scattered around the world each with different mystics. Mystics are sealed by either being forced, tricked, or agreeing to a contract of sorts. Don't necessarily have to obey the one who summoned them, big loopholes to take advantage of there. Scrolls are impervious to the elements; fire, water, sunlight, time etc. Those who seal them don't have to be stronger than the mystic being sealed, although it helps.

Mystics do not age while inactive-sealed-not summoned. Time in between Summons is like a blink, or short nap. Time is paused and so is their consciousness. Mystics can be any species, not just yokai.

About the boys sealing circumstances:

Were tricked into it. Not really mad about it,(probably) since the dude who sealed them is long since dead. Have been sealed since medieval times. Only summoned 10 times, last was over 3000 years ago (have to check my math) these numbers and times are subject to change because I can't make up my mind or bother with math

All four are on 1 scroll, cannot be summoned individually. All or nothing.

The Triceratons:

Lived on earth back in the dinosaur age as normal dinosaurs, mutated by krang deal. Big guys, like 12 tmnt big.

Returned, but decided to get rid of the 'lesser lifeforms' aka humans before settling in.

Fugitiod situation. Except he actually is a criminal. And a cyborg(?) But overall a nice guy.

Basic plotline/storyline: guys get summoned, some stuff happens, get kidnapped by Triceratons, interagated/tortured for info cause "hey they look like they know something, let's grab them" - them being clueless for once. Escape involves setting the leader ship into self destruct. Repels the dinos. Casey don't know how to seal them back, not that he really wants to, so hey, let's explore modern earth. Chaos ensues. little background:

the isolated area in which these characters live is about the size of Eurasia. there’s five main islands with littler ones mostly near the bigger islands. two islands belong to the humans and two belong to the elves with the last island being mostly neutral.

there’s been a war going on between the humans and elves for as long as anyone can remember. while they may not be actively fighting there’s a lot of hostility and distrust. no one exactly knows how it started.

elves are split up into two sub races: Sylvestrean elves and Mageian elves. elves specialized in their own type of magic over a long period of time, creating the difference between the sub races. Sylvestrean elves are in touch with nature, their powers based on the elements and all that is living. Mageian elves focus on more abstract magic, usually a something that enhances a skill and is something that they’ve developed and passed down through their family.

regardless of sub race, elves have an increased life expectancy compared to humans and age slower. they worship the moon goddess Ela and worship of any other god is a punishable offense. while they aren’t as developed technically compared to humans especially the Mageian elves are catching up. most of the elven states/countries/regions are ruled by nobility.

humans despite being one race are much more of a mixed bag than elves. some humans live like they’re form medieval times, but on the other end of the spectrum there’s human who live in a sort of steam punk society. they also have no innate magical abilities but can practice magic through other means and are thereby also not limited to one thing. this however is generally frowned upon and will even get you a prison sentence in some places.

humans generally live a way shorter life than elves. they worship the sun god Sol, though there’s also some that will pray to Ela since laws surrounding religion are less strict. humans have all sorts of governments, there is no one way to do it. due to that humans are far less united than elves.

pirate captain of ship the Levesque (though if you ask anyone in their crew they’ll tell you he’s usually too busy tinkering to care about what direction they’re sailing). former trust fund baby (parents were no1 wine exporters in the nation) but after their entire family got burnt to a crisp in a fire that may or may not have been caused by the mafia they’ve been homeless and on the run. at some point in his homelessness career he and the rag tag group of friends he collected over the years stole the Levesque from some poor chap who was doing business. that was when Lavern Levesque was truly born. ever since he’s been busy scamming the rich and robbing the snobbiest they can find. (they’re also in a committed relationship with the daughter of one of the people he tried to scam- oops??)

Ida (she/her, 26)

formerly part of the mafia (that’s gonna be a real awkward conversation with Lavern at some point) and currently on the run. with little options she’s been doing a lot of physical labor for whoever will hire her which finally led her to the Levedque. due to the captain’s lack of involvement with hiring she didn’t know who she was going to work under, which led to an uncomfortable realization. ever since she’s been hiding her past and trying to get over her middle child related trauma (imagine having 8 siblings and you’re exactly in the middle, yeesh) as well as living with the guilt that she was in fact a part of the reason Lavern’s family is dead.

Hedvig (they/it, ??)

not much too say about their past since they suffer from heavy memory loss and barely remember their name. it has a suspicious amount of buried combat knowledge though and magic that lets them shape whatever they want into any form as long as the matter is non-living. was found by Eleanor (she’ll pop up later) on her parent’s ship and immediately left a bad impression by being scarred, wet and not speaking the common language.

Finn (he/they/she, 16-18)

he’s honestly just a poor little guy. he was the product of an affair between a human and an elf, which since a young age put a huge target on his back. despite trying to hide it Finn could never fit in with his peers or even his family. his step father resented him and his mother wasn’t in a position to defend him. this all reached its boiling point when he was about eleven years old and was put on a ship to another island. unfortunately, his ship got caught in a storm and he washed up on the shore of a dangerous island. ever since he’s been stuck, the island’s forest having all sorts of dangers. he’s seen countless people wash up, attempt to leave or get resources and get killed by the island’s mysterious forces. his survival has relied solely on what has washed up and what little he could find.

Elanor Sylvian (she/they, 32)

part of the royal Sylvestrean family, she’s the eldest daughter of the king and queen. she was raised to be the next queen, not exactly having a childhood or many friends. as ruler she would’ve been responsible for making sure the nobles under her were doing their jobs well. she set out with her parents to a meeting between nobles which was when she found Hedvig on the ship. due to her having studied many languages she luckily could understand Hedvig, who only spoke in a which was thought to be extinct Mageian dialect.

You Were Never Meant to be a Hero

A TNT Duo centric superhero fic featuring the Fallen Hero trope. It's a completed fic with a series of oneshots, spinoffs, and requests attached. It was intended to have a sequel but I decided to scrap the project. YWNTMBAH is my baby and the main thing I'm known for.

Shadows and Ice

Another TNT Duo centric story, this time it's fae flavored. It's a revenge story that follows Wilbur as he's sacrificed to the fae but strikes a deal with the Unseelie King, Quackity to save himself. This one is still ongoing.

Blood Smeared on My Coffee Cup, Red Like Your Eyes

A coffee shop/mafia AU for TNT Duo with mafia boss Quackity and barista Wilbur (who may or may not be a murderous info broker). This one is a fic the has some pretty graphic violence as a common theme, but is also pretty fluffy because Coffee Shop. Still ongoing (I PROMISE I'M WORKING ON IT).

Aurelia

A spinoff of YWNTMBAH, an AU where Wilbur is not a hero but rather a supernatural changeling who's made his home in the world of the Perspectiverse. Again, TNT Duo. You don't really need background Perspectiverse knowledge to read this, technically. It would help for certain character outfits and their relationships but it'll read like a superhero AU if you don't. Completed fic.

Rewrite The Stars

Another YWNTMBAH spinoff, this time an alternate timeline where Quackity and Wilbur got together way before Wilbur fell into villainy. This is still ongoing and probably going to take a while to complete.

The Solar Flare Series

A (mostly) Quackity centric series where the man completely lost his marbles. Becoming the villain Solar Flare, who has a very unhealthy obsession with Wilbur. I try to divide the oneshots between Wilbur and Quackity but it really does read as something more Q centric since he's kinda the main deal of the AU with his...tendencies. It's a darker series that will probably end tragically. Ongoing.

Pythia

My oracle Wilbur series, featuring Karlburnapity and more specifically Wilbur who plays with tarot cards and sees the future. He causes a lot of problems for certain green teletubbies. Ongoing.

Blackout

A series of oneshots and drabbles for elytrian TNT Duo and their courting shenanigans. Superhero AU with villain Q and hero Wilbur. Ongoing.

This is an ongoing series for ships involving Wilbur, Quackity, Sally, Sapnap, and Karl (ONLY THE CHARACTERS). It's mostly TNT Duo but I do other things sometimes for a pallet cleanser. WIP Tagging Game !

I got tagged by @allmightskitten and I had to double-check my notification to make sure I didn't read wrong HAHA. This is going to expose me but this is gonna be fun to do. Fingerscrossed I'll finish them all at some point, I'm a little bit busy with comms and con prep for February but, I'll make time! Rules: make a new post with the names of all the files in your wip folders, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. People send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, then post a little snipper or tell them something about it!

Ok just a disclaimer, I don't actually write that much WIPs because I like to finish smth before starting a new one, and I'll only include One Piece fics because that's all I have right now. There will also be selfship fic on here, and because I do not have the same amount of writer oomfs on tumblr here (as you can probably tell), I will only tag the ones I know!

Jealousy - General, Shanks/my sona I started selfshipping with Shanks, so I'm kind of clowning myself here. The story is pretty self-explanatory from the title, and the setting is obviously in the One Piece world. My sona gets jealous over Shanks getting attention from the girls, Benn swoops in and takes those girls off of Shanks. In my interpertrations and headcanons, Shanks don't exactly flirt back with those girl or entertain their flirtations because he's not Benn Beckman (LOL). I kind of end up not liking this one because it feels kind of weird and the story derailed into something that I don't like. I've decided to drop this WIP because of that reason.

Stress Relief - Mature, Building Snake/Benn Beckman Surprise! I got into this ship because of an artist on Pixiv, and ever since then I've not been the same. I have already posted one fic of this ship, and this WIP has been in my docs for a long while now. It's basically just Snake getting so damn stressed out, and having no outlet for that stress. This fic is sort of a continuation from my first SnakeBenn fic where Snake took Benn's ass virginity LOL. Turns out there is more than just a 'second time' for their encounter, and Benn finds himself to be rather into what Snake does to him. Given the height and size gaps between them, I get to play around quite a lot with this pair, as you can probably imagine.

akataka again - Rating undecided, currently M, Shanks/Mihawk I've forgotten to continue this fic from early November omfg. Anyway, I've got a AkaTaka series going on that I've yet gotten the chance to continue. This one involves the pair spending time in Mihawk's bed in Kuraigana Island. Shanks is trying to get Mihawk's attention while the latter is reading an erotica novel for the plot. Shanks is mildly surprised to see Mihawk reading such novel, and asks if he doesn't get aroused by the description, HAHA. I think this one's just going to be a little silly, but I'd be happy if anyone wants to express their curiosity over this one.

Untilted Work - G, Sir Crocodile/My Friend (modern AU!) OK So this one's a gift for my friend because she's a wonderful person, and I've decided to not take this as a commission, but a gift to her. I can't technically spill the whole plot--but I'll just write this down as what she wants the plot to be about. My friend in this fic is an art dealer/curator. She deals with being the middle person when it comes to selling art (be it paintings, statues and whatnot). She attends a connection event held at the Louvre, organised by Doflamingo, and she meets Sir Crocodile there for the first time! It's currently down to 1.7k words and I'm planning on writing more. I'm having a whole lot of fun doing Modern AU for One Piece fics honestly, they're so fun.

That's pretty much all of the fics that I have right now! Another one is a commission and I definitely can't post it here lol. Xe/phos (Yo/gscast) (slashes to avoid appearing in tags)

Oh man. I think this was the first character I ever made an RP blog for. From what I remember, Xep/hos was an alien/human thing that worked with a couple other people.

In/k Sa/ns (undertale AU)

I know, I know, AUs are polarizing. I happen to enjoy a lot of them, and Ink's probably one of my favorites. The problem is that he's not really portrayed correctly by the vast majority of the fandom... I think he's also only an AU by name only, the original creator I believe has since made him more into an OC? This is one I didn't have a specific blog for, but I did RP him on Amino and technically ran a ship blog with a former friend of mine.

Glitchy (Port/al)

So... Po/rtal is a HUGE interest of mine. I actually set up a blog (I still have it, actually), but I don't think I ever used it. Glitchy's a core from a series on Youtube; his whole thing is that he doesn't know what his purpose is, so he does all sorts of things to find it. He's also known for spontaneously bursting into flames ('Glitchy' is actually a nickname given to him by the other cores).

Fun fact, this is where I got the name 'Glitchy' from; I thought it sounded cool and I desperately needed a new name for the Internet lol.

Virgil (PS/M)

Another core, because I love me some robots. He's a maintenance core, so his entire job is fixing the other robots and the test chambers. Glitchy is a frequent flier of his repair wing. Virgil is a very snarky guy, but for some reason everyone thinks of him as a cinnamon roll who did no wrong and it drives me NUTS (I have an ongoing list of instances of virgil being an asshole for this reason). There are a lot of really good android designs of him out there, too.

So... this is kind of my current hyperfixation, lmao. I don't know why I latched onto this guy, but I did. He is the reason I am currently learning German. He's a (formerly) licensed physician whose entire role is just keeping the rest of the team alive. He likes doing experiments involving non-human organs. He also keeps a flock of doves that he just lets... fly around his OR. He is a liiittle bit on the crazier side, but he is still really smart and he does try to help others. I'm also making a costume for him rn and it's... gonna take a while :(

4. How did they first meet? In the Dream ;w; While the circumstances beforehand are a bit different (being trapped in the Dream for a year), and her portion of the Dream was cut off/bubbled (visualized with a giant closed Physalis flower), sort of in the same concept as like.. the Reboot™ game cubes that isolate a certain area), and as that began to weaken and Mourynn got closer to waking up, the Shadow of the Dragon was finally able to attack the weakened Physalis barrier to try and break through it. In a similar vein to the in game personal story, Caithe is sent in via the Pale Tree's help to help fight the Dragon and to get Mourynn out (and bc they had the same Wyld Hunt Dream, which TECHNICALLY it was supposed to be that they shared the same Dream too, but due to scion attachment issues, Mourynn's involvement got delayed and cut off, hence the Dragon attacking again even though Caithe had already experienced her part of the dream). So she met Caithe when she was able to intercept her Dream at the right time so they could fight the Shadow of the Dragon to help and get her out (which was mostly just Caithe saving her more than anything as at this time, Mourynn was physically very weak after all the changes going on in her body, so Caithe was essentially her hero AND the first person she ever met after being alone for so long alsdkjfldf). 8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another? They both share similar Nightbloom personalities (loners, secretive, socially distant, introverted, etc), so they more easily compliment each other in this way since they're more or less on the same level, and they can be avoidant of large groups of people together. Individually, Mourynn never suspects anything suspicious of Caithe's flighty or cryptic behaviour (since she's probably overly-trusting of her lol), and Caithe is one of the few who can easily understand/decipher Mourynn's weird quirks and eccentricities (it took a little while at first, but after seeing some things from her PoV, she kind of caught on to her train of thought and how she processes things. Ex; most of the time she's very literal). I think on some level, Caithe finds her entertaining too. They're both also very patient, and while Caithe is trying so hard to bring everyone together (as she keeps losing everyone she's close to), Mourynn is also desperate for a connection with someone who understands her (and thus they kind of keep leaning on each other, to possibly unhealthy degrees lol. Co-dependency at it's worst best). They both get to be angsty neurodivergent weird-girl™ disaster lesbians together.

17. Who fell in love first? Definitely Mourynn. As stated above with the abridged awakening/meeting story, the fact that Caithe was like a hero of sorts to her was the first spark. After that, it was simply other reasons, such as knowing they have a shared Wyld Hunt and are connected in that way, as well as both of them sharing some similar personality traits. But also Caithe was already with Faolain at this time (as Mourynn was again, a year late with awakening), so in that sense it would have to be Mourynn first regardless lksjdf. There's also the toxic throuple era with all 3 of them together that's indulgently delicious to myself.

rp pet peeves: this doesn't happen so much in tumblr rp, but i've attempted some private rps (usually smut tbh) and the other player just completely godmods my muse. i think it's a lack of understanding of how rp is supposed to work, but some do it even when you explain that's not really appropriate.

fluff, angst, or smut: don't make me choose, that's not fair! but either fluff or smut. i can only handle light angst that's resolved reasonably quickly. or rather, angst that doesn't involve direct continued conflict between our muses. if they're facing the angst together, then that's a different story.

plots or memes: memes are my fave because they're easy to get started, especially if you're starting out and need a jumping off point. but i'm always willing to plot if people have ideas.

long or short replies: both. i find it tiring to always be working on multipara replies, but i do love them, especially if they're centered around a great plot or scene. but i love to have a heaps of smaller things going on at the same time.

time to write: usually the evening, before or after dinner. but my timezone is different to most, so that's annoying.

What's the origin of your username?

In middle school, I was obsessed with a couple of characters that had horse-features. That includes Foaly (Artemis Fowl), Mr. Tumnus (yes, the faun from Narnia...), and Grover (Percy Jackson). Heck, I didn't even like the PJO series but I read it for GROVER. Just for him!! My friends thought it was so bizarre how I gravitated to these characters and nicknamed me hoofgirl. My original tumblr account was called hoofgirl, but I deleted it later on after it became old and inactive XD then made a new blog with the same username I go by on IG, ohnomyhooves!

I actually don't really have an OTP anymore :') there are plenty of ships that I adore, though! Quite a lot to name but some of my current faves are Zolu, Frobin and Saboala.

Hobbies:

Obviously, drawing and writing are the biggest ones! They have both been my lifelong love. But I also love reading and going down niche Internet rabbit holes to learn lore about anything and everything.

If you could have any job you wish, what would you have?

I want a career in developing nuclear fusion technologies so bad. If that fails, my next (and very different) idea of a dream job would be to work at an aquarium. I love fish like nobody's business. Fish are awesome.

Something you're good at:

Drawing with pen on paper with no sketch or guidelines. This is such a weird flex but on a good day I can go straight to lineart with perfect anatomy, but ONLY on paper XD for some reason this never works digitally lol

Something you hate:

Cooking meat. I hate it. I'm not vegetarian, but since living alone I've basically become vegetarian out of how much I dislike cooking with meat, and now I'm actually considering going completely veg!

Literally any dish with a generous amount of mushrooms. Mushrooms are my favourite ever. I love veggies in general, too, and calamari is pretty much the only seafood that I enjoy but I love it!

HORSES! Horses, crocodiles, jellyfish, snakes, whale sharks, nurse sharks (been swimming with them!), and of course, FLAMINGOS XD i love all weird looking fish, too, they have my whole heart.

Cherish Development Notes — Part 1: Origin

Since two people have already asked me to make this a thing, and 7 others  also liked the post, I’ll just go ahead and put this first one out there. Along with my usual tags, I’m going to be tagging these posts “#Just Cherish Things”, so feel free to block, follow, or do absolutely nothing about the tag as desired. lol

I guess the first thing I really want to talk about — which I was actually asked about yesterday — was what the general process of writing the chapters for this fic is like, as a whole, and actually that’s a really interesting question because…my process for Cherish — given it’s my only non-oneshot fic — is actually way different from any other fic I write.

But, before I can talk about that, I first need to talk about something else — namely, its very different origins from all of the rest.

(Although it’s not super long, the rest is nevertheless under the cut for some basic Fifteen/Storm Bringer spoilers. Also, I guess since I’m putting one of these here, I’ll mention I talk about the ships VerRim/Rimlaine and ChuuArt here briefly, too, because…obviously. lol but really, the tags and the fact this is about a fic revolving around them should tell you that anyway)

You see, unlike all the other fics I’ve created — which, from their very conceptions, were all stories intended to someday be shared with the world — the tale that you all know today as Cherish had much more humble beginnings; that is to say, it did not start out with the intention to ever be a written fic at all.

In fact, tracing it all the way back to its true roots of like, January 2020 iirc, it was really nothing more than this extremely wild, elaborate…well, I guess you would call it a headcanon, originally.

I believe I mentioned in a much earlier ask about BSD Paul that it was somewhere between August of 2019 and the release of Storm Bringer that I began to openly dabble in front of friends with the idea of a regretful, even redeemable, Verlaine; this, in a sense, was a much more secretive extension of the groundwork I had already set there and in years prior (that groundwork being a long-standing scenario in which Chuuya had found a way in a future time to revive BSD!Arthur Rimbaud and the two fell in love, thus leaving Verlaine alone to suffer and dwell on the mistakes that led to him losing his partner and would-have-been lover many times over).

The primary distinction between it and its foundation material, however, was that, unlike with the said other headcanons and ships that set the stage for it to even happen, I had kept everything regarding poet!Arthur and Paul, and the pairing comprised of them, entirely to myself — at least, for a very long time. Why? Well, the reasons were actually quite simple, really; first and foremost, I didn’t think anyone could ever give even half a shit about it even if I’d tried, and secondly, I greatly feared being judged over it, even by some of my closest friends. I knew very well that there were at least a fair number of people out there on the internet in general who had a huge problem with “real person fiction”, as it’s called, and although I knew that technically BSD itself was a form of that in a weird way and thus most of the fandom would probably be a lot more understanding (not to mention that the real person involved was a long-dead historical figure, anyway), I honestly just couldn’t justify it to myself to go through the risk of harassment and confrontation just to share something that, in my mind, no one but me would ever have any interest in to begin with.

At that time, I had made up my mind that it would never see the light of day even among my friends as a headcanon, much less ever become a written fic.

However, as the months went by, and it kept growing and growing into something deeper and more interesting, it became a lot harder for me to hold to that self-made rule, and eventually I ended up giving in and rambling to just one of my friends about it in private — that person being my friend and ever-kind supporter, Jailrose, whom I felt safe with (and whom, it seems, no longer has a blog on here).

In the end, it is only her I have to thank for Cherish’s existence in its current form, as it was purely her constant enthusiasm, support, and insistence that despite my uncertainties, she thought it would make for a great fic she would love to read, that helped me to finally gain the courage well over a year later to publish it on AO3 as the fully-fledged, multi-chapter story in progress that you all know it for being today.

As far as shipping goes, I’ll generally write Aizawa as single unless we have discussed we want to write a thread with our muses already in a relationship. Most of the time I would rather build chemistry first. But I’m a slut for erasermic and erasermight, so I’m open to just plotting together before jumping into threads if you want to cut to the chase.

When writing with underage muses I am open to him either being chronically single or secretly married. Whatever we think will be funnier at the time

Fantasy AU

Aizawa runs the Ultimate Adventuring Guild in the world of Fulminare. The owner is technically Nedzu, but Aizawa deals with a lot of the front facing aspects of the guild and adventurer and adventure management. UA is largely considered the best adventuring guild with the best benefits on the continent, it's even recognized as such by his majesty Enji Todoroki. Aizawa is more than capable in combat and dungeoneering though he specializes in information gathering. If you want to know where to find a legendary item or a way to kill a monster, you go to him. He doesn't adventure as often as he used to, maintaining the guild and caring for his guildmates takes a lot of time, but if Hizashi is hitting the open road, so is he. ((If you want to play in a less my-headcannon-driven world that is totally fine. ))

Nomu AU

This AU is based around the idea that instead of Oboro dying in school, Aizawa died. Instead of Oboro being turned into a nomu, it was Aizawa. Through the torture and experiments, his mind was broken. Like Kurogiri he has no memories of before his death. Nomu Aizawa is a good soldier for AFO, he follows orders to the letter. He is an efficient spy and assassin, and a doting nurturing figure of protection for Shigaraki. However, he is a monster of few words, selectively mute, he very rarely speaks and if he does it's in as few words as possible. My idea for his twisted version of his quirk comes from this post. Though he does continue to use his capture device as well, he uses his knife much more than he does in canon. Since they couldn't call him Aizawa like they couldn't have called Kurogiri Oboro, nomu!aizawa's name is Tomarume.

Alternatively, when writing with people that play his students, I have him captured by Chisaki. That's where he is tortured and turned into a Nomu.

Vampire AU

In this AU Aizawa was bitten and turned a year before the Vigilantes arc. He never becomes a teacher at UA and is even more of a shut in than he was prior. Obviously, being a member of the undead he does not go out during the day. He lives in a run down apartment under a false name with the windows painted black and tin-foiled. He tends to feed on whoever is easiest when he needs to, even preying on the others that live in his building if he absolutely needs to. He's not much of a hero anymore, but he won't turn a blind eye to particularly heinous crimes he notices while hunting. He still looks the same, just extra pale, golden eyes that reflect light in the dark, and prominent fangs.

I use primarily World of Darkness Vampie rules, with some creative changes.

Harry Potter AU

Shota Aizawa is a pure blood wizard who attended Hogwarts roughly during the same time of Bill Weasley. Shota was an auror during the time period of the Harry Potter novels. By the end of the series, after the final fall of Voldemort and the smoke has cleared and the Death Eaters rounded up; he retires and takes a job teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.

Anyway, as the title suggests, I am recommending some fanfics for popular(ish) ships that I personally really enjoyed! I’m only doing one or two fics per ship (which in hindsight is KILLING me so I’m just putting the first fics I find and am like I really liked that one LOL) because I wanted to do a shorter fic rec list (tho watch this become super long LOL). I also may or may not be procrastinating finishing a couple other long posts, so there’s that hehe. For the (kinda but not really) public consensus for best fics per ship (by kudo count) check out some of my other posts. Also I’m putting some ships I don’t actually read much of (OOPS LOL) so if you think that there’s a fic that fits my type (if I even have a consistent type) better, pls tell me LOL. Otherwise, pls continue heh :)

The Loyalty of a Traitor by DeathBelle (E) 76.9k // ok so does me liking this fic make me basic cause I feel basic LOL. I really love mafia fics, and the way the story line developed was SO good, like IN LOVE with this story. This is a fic where you should read WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARY before diving in, but if the length scares you, don’t be. It’s so easy to fall in and get lost in the writing!

the courtship ritual of the hercules beetle by kittebasu (chanyeol) (T) 66.3k // again, basic? Probably LOL but it’s good so I have no shame ;) Again, pls don’t let the word count scare you (cause it scared me LOL), you get really into it after like 2 paragraphs, so just make sure you have enough time to finish hehe.

KuroKen:

Thicker Than Blood by kylar (M) 91.4k // are you surprised that there is another mafia one? You really shouldn’t be LOL. Anyway, I’ll just be here pushing my mafia fanfic agenda while you read this monster of a fic hehe :) Definitely read WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARY because there is some very sensitive topics involved! I also adore the oibokuroo friendship headcannon, so more reasons to read, right?

Liked, Commented and Subscribed by Royal Society of Pandas (Abarcelos) (T) 45.7k // this fic is SO funny omg. I read it and I had to stop so many times just to laugh because I could not stop sometimes LOL. However, there IS angst towards the end, it gets resolved, but it’s still there... But honestly, it just adds such depth and flavor to the fic, so pls read it!

BokuAka:

bang! now we're even by Authoress (M) 11.9k // so I’ll be honest, I don’t read a lot of BokuAka (...oops?) and so I wouldn’t consider myself as the best person to be recommending fics for this ship (in general too LOL).... ANyway, I love myself some good spy AUs (was gonna put that IwaOi spy AU but the LIMIT), and Akaashi in a dress? Like the tags might state, what more do you need? The characters are done beautifully, and the story development is SO good, so I give you all my humble BokuAka rec.

Crisis Converted by valiantarmor (M) 60k // man do I really love fighting in my fics LOL. This was super good and the plot itself kept me really engaged (what a twist omg). It does talk a bit about mental health issues, but it’s done so well, and they really did this AU justice!

DaiSuga:

How to Manage by SuggestiveScribe (E) 39.3k // ok so yea yea we established, I’m basic, BUT can you blame me? This might’ve been one of the first DaiSuga’s I’ve read and I have no regrets. Literally, this fic series is one of my favorites, so OF COURSE I had to add it somewhere :D Honestly, I don’t even think you need to read the first one to understand what’s going on, but I would just cause it has some funny DaiSuga moments too ;) This is explicit for PWP, so proceed with caution~~

Add New Contact by booksong (G) 8.5k // this one! It’s so cute and poor Daichi LOL. He really out here doing the most,,, Anyway, we love tech Suga, and a nice dash of snarky tsukki (LOL is he salt, yes yes he is). It’s very fluff and pine, so if you want to read Daichi having gay panic like 24/7, go right ahead LOL. 

SakuAtsu:

Burden of Blame by DeathBelle (E) 91.2k // ummmm, haha what, another mafia AU? Me, predictable? Noooo, never..... Anyway, this one was so freakin’ good like, love it so much! It’s one of my favorite mafia AU fics, and I love the story line progression. Poor Atsumu being dragged into this mess, but it’s okay because THEY are IN LOVE. Honestly, this fic is Atsumu best boy like he is the best boy. BEST BOY.

Notte Stellata by awkwardedgeworth (T) 20.9k // I ignored all of the other fics I LOVE in this ship (like the pain I’m in rn), but I love this fic with my whole heart. Like I have reread this fic multiple multiple times because I love it so much (tho I might’ve skipped the angst a couple of times cause I didn’t want the pain okay?). I keep coming back, and the second fic in this series is SO funny and cute and I love it here. Please read it, it’s so FREAKING good, angst and ALL.

KyouHaba:

Team Mom by All_My_Characters_Are_Dead (T) 2.7k // so as I was going through this tag (because that’s what I do LOL), I remembered this fic and I love it. Like yes Yahaba is the fear factor and yes Kyoutani is the DAD. I really like the team dynamics in this one, and the first years make me laugh pls.

Camellias by kiyala (T) 1.9k // IK you’re all like, you’re missing such great fics, like no I’m not I just made myself hate myself by limiting fics to two per,,, I love this fic and when I starting looking for this ship, it was the first one I thought of hehe. I really love magic and their interactions are so cute and the PLANTS ARE DOING THE MOST. Pls read both in the series, cause domestic KyouHaba is best KyouHaba ngl LOL. I love the plants, and if you read the second one, someone tell the trees to stop bullying Yahaba.

MatsuHana:

This gets annoying fast, Makki by Ink_stained_quills (G) 2.3k // IM IN LOVE WITH THIS FIC PLS I COULD NOT STOP CRYING TEARS OF LAUGHTER. This AU needs more fics PLEASE. It was SO freakin’ funny and the other teams KILLED ME. Like how they all approached the problem differently and how some of them (KUROO) asked for help LOL. Please this is so freaking funny go read it.

boiled frogs by reginagalaxia (E) 91.5k // I told myself I was gonna put my most angsty fics on another post (which I will for my other favorite MatsuHana angst fic which I love), but this fic. Omg I saw it and I was like I have to. Literally I have to. I hate angst, but read it. It, the, plot, omg, I jjfnsfknalkjdnf ljksan. Like I’m not sure you understand. This fic. asjfjfsadnldjb. I never thought I could hate a character SO MUCH,,,, like SO MUCH. READ TAGS, WARNINGS, AND SUMMARIES because some serious stuff really goes down. Bless Iwa-chan.

Accidentally in Love by pancake_surprise (T) 19.6k // JOSE CUERVO strikes. I love this fic and all the chaos in it. The way they were supposed to be the responsible couple (of friends LOL),,, sike. This one is only a slight angst and it’s mostly love and fun :) Also technically this is no longer the first fic in the series, but I’m still putting this one cause the other one is SakuAtsu orientated hehe :)

Spring Secrets by DeathBelle (T) 3.8k // Seasons might be one of my favorite (as all things also seem to be) series of all times. I don’t like rerecommending fics I’ve already said to read, which is why I’m not yelling at you to go read a certain other fic (which is my life and blood). Anyway, this fic series is all fluff barely angst (maybe that’s why I like it) but it’s so freakin good pls read it all ahhhhhh.

Komori/Suna (what is their ship name):

I wish to live in a world by hatsuna (T) 24.8k // ok ngl this fic was so sad and relatable? Like I was like wtf why are you making me cry rn even though like I shouldn’t be? My heart? Pain. (Hotel? Trivago.) Technically, this is END GAME but the main pairing is kinda SakuAtsu???? Something of the sort, but also their relationship (Komori and Sakusa) is written so well and idk guys I think you need to read this fic rn.

Ah the two fic limit hurt me, but fear not I am making ship specific rec posts (LOL I’m so dramatic), so if you wanted more of a ship,,,, its a coming hehe. And yes I did say I’m making an angsty fic rec post, but we’ll see if it gets finished before I side-track with posts like these LOL.
