"Immature fucking co-pilot."
"I leave medical once in my fucking life, and now I can't even open the damn door, great! This really isn't the time to be doing this!" He turned to Daisuke, who looked stupidly nervous for some reason. What was he even worried about? He wasn't involved in this. ...Then again, Jimmy had everyone believing it was their faults for this. He could use this. "She's in there with a very clearly injured person I now have to consider a patient. This could be a very, very bad situation. You have to understand this. You're the damn mechanic's intern, right? Do you know any other way in?" He tapped his foot impatiently against the floor, pacing behind the door. It didn't feel jammed, it felt locked. This wasn't how things were supposed to go. It was meant to be her fault. Either her, or the oh so defenseless person stuck in there with her. "We don't have all fucking day here! Spit it out, you know how unstable she is! She's the reason we're in this mess, you really want to trust her around all the supplies? You listen to me now, alright?" He'd get his way, he always managed to. Daisuke spoke, or so it seemed. His mouth was moving, but Jimmy couldn't hear him. He couldn't seem to find his voice anymore either. Before he knew it, he was back in medical. He stood up, very uncoordinated, and immediately approached the door. He watched it slide open. It wasn't locked anymore. He balled his hands up, staring at the door for a moment before going back to make sure everything was organized. ...Fucking nightmares. Always made sure to pin him in a bad light. Always made sure he didn't know who was on the other side of that door. He had a guess, and he didn't like it.

🧩
[🧩What’s a truth about themselves they refuse to admit? Timeline: Future.] "They were right."
He collapsed to his knees, putting his face into his hands. As if he wasn't just hallucinating again. No, the pain he caused others was so much realer than this. Their deaths were real. He only wanted to get rid of one, he didn't mean for it to spiral like this. He wasn't qualified for the captain role nearly as much as Curly was. He hated him. But he loved him, obsessed over him. He couldn't even... tell what was happening anymore. He was disorienting himself, he felt like he should be dead by now. He shouldn't be getting away with this. He didn't know how he was. Why'd it always lead back to him feeling sick? He should feel bad about what he's done, but why can't he? He didn't know them that well. It was unfortunate, but a guy's gotta save his own skin, surely they'd understand that? Anya hardly got a thought in his head. He didn't even spare her a second glance most of the time. He's had his moments, but it was for the better. So then... why didn't things get better? She told on him, didn't she? That's why it spiraled. Her fault. It was her fucking fault Curly ended up like this, it was her fault the others had gotten hurt. Her. Her. Her. She ruined his life. There was only one worth saving now, and Jimmy wasn't sure if he could get through it properly. ...Might as well take a parting gift, right? Not like they'll ever see each other again. Curly's lived this long, he'll be fine. Just a bit longer together. Hearing Curly's voice, even if all Jimmy could do was pretend it was there, hearing him breathe close for one last time. He'd have dinner together with him, just like old times. He'd forgive his dearest friend. Curly always shared his food when Jimmy was struggling with getting his own. He knew what he had to do to get himself out of here, but. He was scared to do it. He couldn't risk Curly recovering and ruining Jimmy's life forever, he couldn't bear the thought of living without him. He'd give Curly a chance at life. He didn't deserve one. Not this time.

No, You Can’t Claim SA Just Because You Regret Your Consensual Encounter
And No, Him Not Mind-Reading Your Non-Verbal Cues Isn’t a F*cking Defense
Tumblr media
🔥 The Brutal Reality: Regret is NOT Assault
Let’s cut through the bullsit—**consent isn’t fcking retroactive.**
If you said yes, participated, and then woke up the next morning feeling weird about it, that’s called a bad decision, not assault.
If you didn’t use your actual goddamn words to say “stop” or “no”, but instead relied on vibes and telepathy, that’s on YOU.
Consent is a two-way street—not a ‘try-before-you-buy’ policy.
📌 The ‘Aziz Ansari Incident’—Proof That #MeToo Got Hijacked by Bullsh*t
A woman going by “Grace” went on a date with Aziz Ansari.
She agreed to go home with him.
She willingly participated in sexual activity.
She didn’t verbally say “NO” or “STOP.”
She left when she wanted, and he even called her an Uber.
Then the next day… she decided it was assault.
Because apparently, Ansari was supposed to: ✔️ Read her mind. ✔️ Detect her hesitation through the power of the Force. ✔️ Understand that her silent, awkward fidgeting meant "I don't actually want to do this."
Ladies, if your consent expires when you sober up, that’s a YOU problem. Not his.**
📢 PSA: Men Are NOT Mind-Readers.
This new standard feminists are pushing—where a man is guilty if he “should have known” a woman felt weird, even though she SAID YES—is bullsht and dangerous as fck.
Men: Take notes.
If she doesn’t explicitly say no, she can still call it assault later.
If she gives "non-verbal cues" that she regrets it, it’s still your fault.
If she enjoys it in the moment but hates it later, you’re suddenly a predator.
This isn’t “protecting women.” This is legalizing regret as a weapon against men.
Tumblr media
🔥 The Cowardice of Silent Non-Consent
The most insane part of this “Grace” story?
She never physically stopped him.
She never verbally told him to stop.
She chose to stay.
And yet, feminists argue she was still "too scared" to say no—to a 5’6 comedian who called her a f*cking Uber.
If a woman is too terrified to say “I don’t want to do this” to a guy who has ZERO power over her, then we have a societal issue of women refusing to take personal responsibility.
Screaming “victim” because you were too passive to say no is weak as f*ck.
🔍 The Real Harm? Cases Like This Destroy Real Victims.
False or exaggerated claims like this do two major things: 1️⃣ They turn SA into a joke—people stop believing real victims because of dumb sh*t like this. 2️⃣ They put innocent men at risk—any woman can ruin a man’s life just because she feels bad after the fact.
When everything is "assault," nothing is.
🛑 FINAL VERDICT: If You Want Men to Know You’re Uncomfortable, OPEN YOUR F*CKING MOUTH.
Non-verbal cues are NOT consent withdrawal. Regret is NOT rape. Awkward sex is NOT sexual assault.
If you: ✔️ Said yes. ✔️ Went along with it. ✔️ Stayed in the situation. ✔️ Only felt bad later…
That’s called a bad decision, not a crime. Grow the f*ck up.

Your freedom begins where your excuses end.
Or,
Own your life. Build your power.
Blaming others may feel comforting, but it’s a trap that keeps you stuck. True freedom begins when you take full responsibility for your actions, your mindset, and your growth. This powerful message challenges you to rise above excuses and claim your personal power. Life doesn’t change until you do — and that transformation starts with ownership. Whether it’s your goals, your habits, or your attitude, responsibility is the key to real progress. Stop pointing fingers. Start building your legacy. This quote isn’t just inspiration — it’s your call to action. Growth begins where blame ends.

"...Alright. I know you're all freaked out, but I've got it handled."
Daisuke was the only one showing visible signs of distress, albeit quietly. Jimmy was honestly dissociating, Curly was... he couldn't really express himself well anyways. Swansea seemed to refuse to show any sort of emotion that wasn't being an old grump. He didn't care what Anya had to show or say right now. That was Jimmy's perspective, anyways. "Since our... co-pilot isn't mentally suited to step up as captain, I say I'm the next best person for it. Curly's been with me the longest, after all. I know him, and his job best." After giving them barely any time to object, he deemed himself the leader of the crew. They were all distressed anyways, as far as Jimmy was concerned? Everyone here was a nutjob with trust issues. Odd for a nurse to immediately jump to the captain role, but he was confident enough. It'd be difficult to take care of Curly and be the captain at the same time. He'd just give him painkillers when he started whining and leave it at that. They'd run out of bandages eventually anyways. It'd be hard for a while, but eventually he'd hardly have to do anything. ...He did enough around here for everyone anyways. He's the whole reason Curly isn't already dead. Who cares what they have to say. He was keeping Curly alive. Even if it was supposedly Curly's fault this happened in the first place. "And, Anya? Just let me do the hard work. Wouldn't want you crashing us as well, would we now? Your mental state has a lot to do with how you treat others and your mindset." "...Don't go getting ahead of yourself either." God forbid she thinks everyone here is against her and goes on a paranoia-induced rampage. ...He had a feeling this was gonna end in a lack of supplies. What a way to go downhill. He'd be surprised if they could last a day without him here. "And to all of you? Be sparing on the supplies. Only eat when you have to. Humans can go a long while without eating, don't be the reason we starve." He looked towards medical for a good minute before finally speaking again, not bothering to look away. He was going in there soon anyways. "I'll get us out of this."

"...It's always want, want, want. That's all you do. We all love whining for things we can never have, don't we?"
Jimmy was being petty. He knew that. But he had no better to talk to, why not talk to someone who can't talk back for once. "Don't look at me like that. They want to hate you. Anya wants to hate you. But she can't, can she? For every... single thing you've done wrong. It's alright, Captain. I'll keep them all safe. I don't hate you. Pressure does a lot to a guy, I get it." He felt kind of bad, in his own fucked up way. He never meant for this to happen to Curly specifically. ... But at least now he had someone to shift the blame to. If they did somehow get out of here, he couldn't have what little life left of his own ruined. Since nobody else really wanted to be near Curly, rather it be disgust with his actions or his appearance, Jimmy didn't really care. What matters is he was able to talk to him all on his own for once, without other people trying to change Curly's opinions. He dissociates often in here. Part of him can't bear to look at Curly either, so his vision tries to blur him out. However, apparently eye contact is a good thing for socialization. Maybe that's what Curly was trying to communicate. "... What? Are you ungrateful for my company? Be glad someone's even talking to you at all. ...Hope these painkillers make it fucking worth it." At least he settled down after a while. Maybe people could actually get an ounce of sleep on this ship. He's done his work here. Well, what quickly became his work anyways. Damn under qualified nurse refusing to do her job all because of a little noise. "Goodnight, Curly. Try to rest, it's all you can do anymore." He didn't spare a second glance back when the door shut behind him. He needed to get his own rest anyways, best to get out of there quickly.

✅ Checklist for Women Who Don’t Want to Falsely Accuse a Hookup of SA
A Guide for Women with Good Hearts, Good Intentions, and a Sense of Responsibility
Tumblr media
Being responsible with consent goes both ways. If you don’t want to falsely accuse a man—whether out of regret, social pressure, or unclear communication—here’s how to ensure you’re staying accountable and acting with integrity.
🔍 BEFORE THE HOOKUP: Set Clear Boundaries
✔️ Know What You Want – If you’re unsure about whether you actually want to hook up, don’t do it. Hesitation is a sign to wait. ✔️ Speak Up If You’re Uncomfortable – If you’re already second-guessing before anything happens, that’s your answer. Say no. Leave. ✔️ Choose Environments Where You Feel Safe – If you’re feeling pressured or unsafe from the start, that’s a red flag to walk away. ✔️ Don’t Ignore Your Instincts – If something feels off, trust that feeling before engaging, not after. ✔️ Be Aware of Alcohol & Substances – If you can’t make a clear decision, it’s best to wait until you can.
🔥 DURING THE HOOKUP: Communicate & Take Ownership
✔️ Use Your Words, Not Just ‘Vibes’ – Men cannot read minds. If you don’t want something, say it directly. ✔️ Stop the Encounter If You’re Uncomfortable – If you change your mind mid-way, say no and remove yourself. It’s okay to stop. ✔️ Don’t Assume He Knows What You’re Thinking – If you’re feeling uneasy but not saying anything, that’s on you. ✔️ Actively Participate or Clearly Withdraw – If you’re engaging, you’re consenting. If you’re not, make it obvious. ✔️ If You Want to Leave, Leave – No one is forcing you to stay. If you feel uncomfortable, don’t wait—remove yourself.
Tumblr media
🚨 AFTER THE HOOKUP: Be Honest With Yourself & Others
✔️ Separate ‘Bad Sex’ From Assault – If you had a meh experience, that’s not a crime. Disappointment ≠ Assault. ✔️ Take Responsibility for Your Choices – If you consented at the time, don’t rewrite history the next day. ✔️ Be Aware of Social Pressures – If your friends judge you for the hookup, don’t falsely claim you were coerced to save face. ✔️ Reflect on Your Feelings Honestly – If you willingly engaged, but later wish you hadn’t, that’s regret—not assault. ✔️ If He Didn’t Violate Consent, Don’t Ruin His Life – False accusations destroy lives. Be truthful, not emotional.
🔚 FINAL VERDICT: Protect Your Integrity & Others’ Reputations
Consent isn’t a game of charades. Use your words.
If you say yes, own it. If you say no, enforce it.
If he did nothing wrong, don’t let emotions, regret, or peer pressure twist the truth.
Truth matters. Real victims deserve to be heard—false accusations only make it harder for them.

Life Lens - Entry 198
Double Standard of Blame It’s wild to me how some people have the audacity to point fingers at you for how you reacted, but never stop to think about what they did that pushed you to that point in the first place. It’s almost like they forget that actions have consequences, or maybe they just choose to ignore that part because it’s easier to blame you than to own up to their behavior. I mean, no…
