Canoncall from a humanstuck Aradia! I was Droog and the Handmaiden's daughter, childhood friends with Sollux, Tavros, and Karkat. I dated Sollux for a while but the relationship ended in disaster. Gamzee and I were fwb for a while but then I started dating Dave. I was in a coma for a while but when I woke up I married Dave. then Equius (who'd been stalking me for years) tried to do something bad to me and died under mysterious circumstances when my father found out. hmu if this sounds familiar!

eyyyyy so more memory walk times, decided to explore some stuff for Kanaya this time around!

(tw for death mentions and some descriptions of violence)

-first memory started off with Tavros (I think) talking to me. “That was pretty bad of me, wasn’t it,” in reference to, presumably, the whole killing me-to-godtier matter. I brushed it off and said, it was bad but not his fault, under the circumstances, and that I didn’t blame him. He seemed to feel more at ease as we discussed and I apologized in turn for what I had done to him after getting killed.

-Next I tried to focus more on the godtiering itself. I remember laying on my quest slab, and getting taken by surprise by the stabbing. things went dark momentarily, filled with confusion and pain, but my whole body tingled with power when I godtiered again, and I felt so alive. The feeling didn’t last too long though before I was overcome with rage.

-After I tried to picture what happened when I went after Vriska. The visuals that came to mind were me stabbing into her chest with the chainsaw, she was in godtier. Not sure if that’s how I actually killed her or not but I’m fairly certain her being Godtier was accurate.

-One of my canonmates is fairly sure Kanaya died protecting them from the Black King, so I tried to recall that - I only recalled the sensation of him stabbing me through the center as I charged him. Not sure if this is exactly how he killed me or not, but the sensation was stronger for this than when I was forced to Godtier.

-Lastly, I tried to recall what happened when I first woke in the Dream Bubbles. I was in my room, on my husktop, when I had someone pester me out of the blue.

“Hi! :D”

“Hi... Have We Met?”

“Not exactly. I’m Jade. :P”

“I’m Kanaya.”

“Hi Kanaya!! :D” 

The chat carried on some, to her asking me about my current outfit, and when I replied with my ‘usual wear’ (I guess I’d regressed to pre-godtier mentally), she gently jogged my memory on my godtier robes. From there, she walked me through what happened after I godtiered, and once I recalled she stepped into the area and the scenery changed. 

-Jade herself was god/dogtier, and I guess found me by chance in the dreambubbles. She came from another timeline but was excited to see me regardless of iteration. I remember her tail would wag with her excitement and her ears would shift as she talked, and I found it terribly adorable. She told me that her and Rose were excited to catch up, at which point she directed my attention towards Rose. 

-The memory ended as I took in the sight of Rose - perhaps the visuals were glorifying the event a bit, but the light shone around her, her back had been to us but she turned towards us and I knew it was love at first sight. 

I distinctly remember Rose having darker skin and bleached-blonde curly hair, I believe she was african or mixed. her body type was a bit chubby, and a little on the shorter side for the average height.

1: most vivid/favorite memory with them

   Hm. I don’t have too many memories of Aradia in general, but I suppose my favorite is from my Sollux tl. I always used to see her on Derse, and she always looked so happy. Once, in the game, she saved me by throwing a boulder through a wall so I could escape. She never told me how she did it though, it still confuses me to this day.

2: whether or not you've met them this life

   I’ve meet a few different Aradias in this life, but none of them are from my canon.

3: what your relationship with them was like in canon

   In my Sollux tl, we were just aquaintances, not quite friends but not total strangers. I kinda looked up to her as Tavros, but we never talked too much.

4: what you'd say to them if you found them again

   I’d ask them to fuckin explain how they threw that boulder like please tell me pl EASe I’ve been thinking about this since I got the memory again

5: what your first impression of them was in canon

   I was a bit underwhelmed as Sollux. I dunno, I suppose I thought she was alright, but that’s about it. Somewhat spooky.

6: what you thought of them after you'd talked/interacted more

   Spooky, yes, but I still enjoyed her company. I think Karkat talked to her more than I did, to be fair.

7: any differences between your memories of them and the source

   Yeah, she wasn’t like. Dead already lmao or as far as I knew, anyway. But yeah she was rather different from the comic 

8: if you have a lot of memories of them or just a few

   Only a few! Wish I had more, though.
