COMIC BELOW THE CUT TO EXPLAIN SOME…NEWLY APPEARING SYMBOLS…

• Ruin hasn’t shown his gun to anyone.

- In fact, he neglects it so even he forgets he has it.

• Ruin suppresses a LOT of memories just to get by. He’s healed from a lot, but there are some things he couldn’t survive remembering, so he suppresses it.

- This also causes lots of his coding to scramble or become messy, leaving memories apparent but not clear.

- Being triggered can snap memories back to the front of his mind and uncorrupt themselves.

- His memories are also affected by the fact that the “Ruin Virus” in him is contained. Considering that is an extension of himself - it is preventing him from being at his full potential or mental capacity. This makes it EVEN HARDER to remember things.

- By no means does he have any dementia, it’s just certain phrases or exact memories get completely BLOCKED and it hurts to try and remember them. For example, the symbol adorned on his “awakened” fit.

• The symbol is a reference to Ruin’s HOME WORLD…The Abandoned City by Sournectic in VRCHAT!

- If you want to find this symbol, it will be in the main viewing room on the left screen (after some animations.)

- This is an animated symbol..the symbols move…🥺

• Despite the gun being built into his endoskeleton, this is NOT his main weapon of choice! He prefers snipers. This is good for mass-crowd combat. Like being attacked by a swarm.

• His gun overheats easily.

here is my boy, my design of him, along with a ton of hcs

i've had variations of this design for a while now, finally showing it off :) anyways, I'm gonna list all of the headcanons here in case my handwriting is shit

Design:

Has piercings, a dare from his kids (Andrew specifically)

Earth embroidered clouds on his jeans

He keeps taking inspiration from Solar's sense of style, despite "hating" them [he's jealous]

In casual settings, would wear sweatpants and flannel

Has "Star Indicators" of which are little four-pointed star patterns to symbolize star usage [I have a lot of lore for these]

Has a lightning scar around his waist from when Lunar killed him

Wears one of Ruin's wrist ribbons around his neck in place of ruffles

Most of his accessories are from Ballora and Roxy

Prefers cooler colors of clothing, prefers silver to gold

Fun Facts:

His most prized possession is his leather jacket right there, in my au, it's one of the first things he finds to be truly his

Sometimes tries to fix his chronic pains / migraines, but never gets anywhere with it

Likes his living quarters to be sweltering hot, unbearably so, as a reminder of his lab on the sun, it's become a kind of comfort to him

He smokes, thinks it's relaxing [Charlie gets really mad about it]

hello you beautiful awesome person. I have a Eclipse x Henry request. Can you draw Eclipses past versions so V.1 V.2 and V.3 Eclipse beam hansey with Henry, and V.4 Eclipse is off to the sidelines with the "I'm going to murder these hoes," because I had cannon Eclipse to be get jealous easily with andrew off to the sideline and saying "You good?" You don't have to do this if you don't want to. Love your art and make sure you keep up the good work!

Plus, this gives me a chance to show off my Eclipse designs!

V1 - Looks like Sun, but has that teasing, mean-spirited Eclipse nature. Always has a big sneer on his face.

V2 - the first time that Eclipse designed his own body. Big rays, big teeth, big claws. Big and intimidating, just like his “family”. Though, he has to use his weapons to defend himself against KC and Bloodmoon’s advances, most of the time. He also made the little dot designs on his cheek and upper eye with a soldering iron. The faceplate’s bigger half is subtly darker than the smaller half.

V3 - Ruin’s design. All subtlety is thrown out the window. He’s smaller because of material constraints, and has a much higher contrast. His dots are on the wrong side of his face, like a bad forgery. Ruin also gave him four arms, because he thought it would look cool. His version stamp makes its first appearance, worn on his chest like a name tag. Not pictured is Ruin’s maker’s mark branded into his lower back.

V4 - A softer version of his V2 design. His dots and colors are to his liking, but he loses all but two of his sharp teeth. His hands aren’t claws anymore, and he customizes his outfit slightly, covering up his V4 stamp. He’s comfortable in this body.

What would your Eclipse and Ruin look like as humans?

Meet Ruin E. and S. Eclipse !

Both with their own CUSTOM LORE and stories!

Their lore is heavily based around the “main timeline” as we see in TSBS, but in a different dimension AND timeline entirely!

For those who don’t think about this often or don’t have this headcanon yet - Dimensions and Timelines are two different sciences, just like how Dimensions and Planets are also two different sciences. Timelines are infinite, Dimensions are limited. This is my personal science, and you’re welcome to use it as your own!

In this timeline, anomalies are more rampant than humans are, but live simultaneously as they do in TSBS. Humans still have more power, but anomalies are semi-dominant.

Brief Summary:

RuinE. and S.Eclipse are two scientists who meet each other at Pine Ridge Laboratories in Colorado in 1988

S.Eclipse comes from a foster home with his brother Lunar E. The two were adopted by the Celestial Family where…a LOT of tragedies occurred in the heart of said family. Eclipse finally separates and finds work at an anomaly containment and study site called Pine Ridge Laboratories. There, he works with mechanical anomalies and studies celestial events…all while secretly harboring his own “secret project”, the Neuton Star.

RuinE. Is a troubled anomaly born in a rural, middle-o-nowhere town. One unfortunate day, a virus broke out that turned everyone he loved into monsters. The town killed each other until the government arrived and shot the infected down. Thankfully for Ruin, he was not one of those casualties…because someone held a warrant out for him. Ruin is taken in by The Creator away from the town, brainwashed, before Ruin’s sold off to another doctor he thought he could trust - NexusD. Ruin escapes, and now hides in a laboratory as a doctor for money to survive and protection by the DOA’s extremely complicated paperwork. The tragedy of his town never got into any news outlets.

They would not call each other the bestest of friends, but after meeting and discussing the annoyances of their day-to-day work, they would definitely look to each other for a partner assignment.

Now that I'm looking back at it, I REALLY wanna give him glasses.

*CONCEPT DESIGN FOR MY OWN AU

I do, in fact, create a lot of art of him. My art style translates differently to digital vs traditional. My actual art style is quite a bit different than this. If I ever figure it out, I'll post some traditional art.

A reminder that I've been around TSBS and drawing them since the beginning of TSAMS and probably around the beginning/middle of what was once TFFaFS, though I don't remember FFaFS whatsoever as I rarely watched them. I've been drawing Ruin since just a bit after his character was introduced, so my designs have altered and changed over the years.

This isn't how I personally would typically draw him, but seeing as he has a new design now, I guess I'll draw him like this until I can get used to it. More coming soon, probably! Maybe with glasses and a different vest/suit.
