Not gonna lie im so exhausted from school. And honestly it's not even the work, it's just the atmosphere. It's always freezing inside the building and it's continuously pouring outside. The lights are always so bright and the chairs are so uncomfortable. I can't wait til I can have my own cute office with the comfiest chair in existence!

I'm definitely going to invest heavily in one cause my back pain is crazy. It's hurts sitting up all day.. I've got to get back into doing yoga but everything is so hard to do when I have roommates.

Im definitely going to go back to aerial silks class a few times before I graduate. I just want to be active again. I want to skate, I want to dance! I want to work out and run. I'd love to have a home gym space.

It just feels like there's so much going on and so much to manage... I just want to sit and lay in bed with my dog again.

Hopefully winter break is as productive as I'd like it to be and I get a ton of stuff done. I'm already feeling super inspired and motivated. I just want a job smh..

I can't wait til I make a yearly salary from an actual industry job. It'll be like school, but im actually getting paid for it. I can't wait to pay off these debts too...ahh life's going to be good, I just need time.

This is probably one of the most infuriating comics I have ever done. I had to go for a more "sketchy" style since doing all the slides in my usual super-clean-line art style would have taken a lot of time. I also did the colors very opaque to give a more serious tone.

If you pay attention to the scale of the room and everything on it, you'll see that it is HUGE. Made on purpose to try to be consistent with the atmosphere of the show. I also did the plushies and figures kind of inaccurate to show how she may not remember quite well how the actual characters looked like.

I'm honestly still not sure of whether he would rip a drawing apart, so don't take it too seriously. Someone please ask @gooseworx if this was out of character for Jax or if he legit would do that lmao.

As a little clarification, the comic is called Vent art because of what Gangle is doing, not because of the comic being MY Vent Art. I usually don't use art to vent.

Not to randomly talk about Apothecary Diaries, but almost every time Mao Mao talks about Jinshi she uses the most romantic and poetic terms possible but says them with the banal factuality of a nature documentary narrator, and it is absolutely sending me. Like:

Mao Mao, completely deadpan: He is such a heavenly beauty, people would start wars over him.

Mao Mao, legitimately concerned: I best not put makeup on him. If he were made any more beautiful it would topple nations

Mao Mao, watching girls fawn over Jinshi: This makes sense, he has such otherworldly beauty that he would be irresistible to any woman or man

Mao Mao, as if taking a scientific observation: Something must be amiss with Master Jinshi, usually he glitters like the sun

(I’m not overdramatising, these exact narrations happened)
