You know, I think part of the reason I like making comics is that it gives me an excuse to rant about characters and worldbuilding and stuff like that. I kind of get embarrassed sometimes about how much I tend to ramble about the smallest things in a character's life, and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
When I make Undertale comics (or any other comics really), I'm putting that character or world analysis in a shorter form that people will actually want to read and perhaps draw their own conclusions. And I get an excuse to ramble, usually under a cut because I think people don't want to hear my character analyses.
But oh my gosh, it feels so good to rant in my head as I draw about Asriel's guilt, Mettaton's jealousy and insecurity, Monster Kid's protective side... getting to express that through art and stories just feels so good! And even though I'm dying to share it immediately (and probably could if I just started ranting on here), there's so much more impact when I show instead of just tell people about these specific aspects of characters and how that influences the events and choices of their lives.
I've got this one comic that I haven't even started drawing yet, but it's about making the reader feel like a terrible person because of the futility of the story. Secondhand guilt, if you will. The problem is, I had to make a backstory for this character... and give him a family... knowing full well I was going to kill him off because that's how the story goes. And then I drew a picture of him right before his death and... he looked so accepting of his fate. He wasn't even resigned, he was accepting, and that made me feel so bad. Which is good, I guess, except I've started feeling so guilty that I've been procrastinating. XD
Anyway, I've got major respect for other comic artists or writers in general who manage to put so much history and nuance in their works and make things feel real. And I love reading people's posts about character/world/magic analyses because I love to do that myself, plus hearing other people's views gives me some really good ideas.
I don't know why I decided to say this, maybe I was just wondering why the serious, more emotional comics were my favorites to make, or maybe I just really needed to ramble because all of my character analysis comics aren't close to being finished. Canon compliant(ish) subversions are so fun to write, but hugs are hard to draw. Sorry that I rambled for so long and don't even have art for this post.

How was Sans after Frisks deletion. Like i know he probably wasn’t the best and maybe felt guilt but did his friends and Papyrus notice anything off with him?
Sans was a mess.
For a few days following Frisk's deletion, Sans disappeared from the house without his phone, which worried his friends a lot. When he finally returned, Papyrus did not let him out of his sight for a little bit, so his brother noticed the stark difference in his personality.
Sans went quiet and stopped making jokes. He'd answer questions with a nod, shake of his head, or shrug of his shoulders. Otherwise, he followed his brother everywhere, almost like a ghost. Not even Papyrus's spaghetti could knock Sans out of it. Sans also stopped taking naps, tending to stare forward listlessly when he rested.
It was bad. Some days Sans would disappear for hours at a time, with no one knowing where he was. Papyrus began to get used to it, though he was decisively more restless whenever Sans disappeared.
Undyne tried to invite the brothers to cook and spar, hoping to help cheer Sans up. Any of her attempts to talk with him didn't do much, however. Alphys also joined in, bringing some of her manga and journals to share. It became a sort of routine for the four.
Sans's friends at the bar got very nervous with Sans's sudden change, but they did their best, providing small talk and greeting him with the same enthusiasm as always.
To be clear, Sans didn't go completely mute. He still spoke in one or three-word sentences sometimes, but anyone could tell something was wrong.
It took months for Sans to get a semblance of normalcy back.

Let me add a theory of my own just for funsies
This triangle Δ is the greek letter 'Delta'. You might've seen it before, since in a lot of science it's used to signify a difference in something. If T is the symbol for temperature, ΔT is the change in temperature; if P is the pressure, ΔP is the difference in pressure, that sorta thing.
So Δ is a symbol of change. It's emphasised that no matter your choices, the outcome of this world is set in stone, the prophesy unchangeable. Perhaps then, when someone in the gameworld gets the power of the deltarune, they COULD change the world. That's why our narrator wants it so badly, it's the power to make a difference
but having the power and perspective of a real person while being a video game character is literally eldritch horror stuff. There's a reason us taking over Kris, and all moments alluding to the player are horrifying, the unknown peaking in, eyes unseen always watching. Suddenly having that perspective while still being a part of the world would be maddening
anyways, that's how you get flowey

Grundletale (or Grunkletale)
more thoughts on the Grundletale Au (also I think I like Grunkletale better)
it starts out the same as regular Gravity Falls, up until Bottomless Pit.
Grunkle Stan never returns from the second time falling in, and the kids are concerned. within the week, they call a meeting with Wendy and Soos, and Soos becomes interim Mr. Mystery. Soos accidently becomes the town favorite, and Gideon loses popular support. The shack gets a series of expansions as Soos makes more money than ever before. The twins refuse to tell their parents Stan is missing, not wanting to return home.
Meanwhile, Stan hits the bottom and tries to figure out a way back home. He meets Flowey, and immediately reads Flowey as a threat. Toriel sorta saves him (Stan was about to throw down), and Stan presents himself as his Mr. Mystery persona. Stan hits on Toriel, she then tells him she's married.
Stan causes a distraction to slip past Toriel and escapes into the wider underground. From there, Stan has to find his way home. Although, something seems wrong. For some reason, Stan is haunted with images of Ford.
Turns out, there are a few dimensional weak points in the underground. In one of them, Stan pulls Ford through. because Ford wasn't moments away from killing Bill, he's not as mad. With certain characters, they may even get therapy!
Stan and Ford do something and break the barrier, letting monsters out into Gravity Falls. they return to see that shack is now massive, Soos is acting as Mr. Mystery, and the kids kept trying to find Stan.
The kids are confused, Soos accidently calls Stan dad, Wendy is glad her boss isn't dead. Stan takes back ownership of the shack, and Bill isn't really able to get any chance to enter the universe.
During a discussion about ownership of the shack, (Ford had it built, Stan paid 30~ years of mortgage, Soos expanded the shack massively), Stan purposely calls Soos his son, and hands him an adoption form.
