“You’re not Romeo and Juliet, ask him the hell out,” Jane said.

“I’ve talked to him but he’s totally anti-tech, and consumerism and just a total hippie, and-“

“AND, he’s been here every day even though he doesn’t have to,” Jane rolled her eyes.

“He did have orders in the building,” I trailed off.

There was this man named Kyle who was a delivery boy. He apparently ran his own small company. They ran without cell phones or computers. I don’t know how he managed with just a landline.

He delivered things to different people in our office building. The issue was I worked in tech, hidden away. It seemed he always found me somehow. He used to tease me, tell me I was too reliant on my little gadgets. Now, it seemed like he came around just to say hi.

He was gorgeous. Dark brown curls framed his angular face. His skin was smooth and freckled and it never seemed to have a flaw. Piercing green eyes always bored into me when we spoke to each other. He was unironically funny sometimes, and I liked his dedication to be anti consumerism. But I knew he’d never be into someone who worked in tech.

“Hey, you guys talking about me?” Came the monotone voice. I looked up to see the floppy haired boy and blushed.

“We were actually,” Jane said, coming over to us.

“Jane,” I hissed.

“Oh, what are yall saying?” He asked us.

“Ugh, y/n likes a guy, but she’s worried about asking him out,” Jane said, completely setting me up.

“What?” Kyle asked, mouth hanging open in shock. “Why would you be scared. You’re like the perfect girl.”

“Oh thank you,” I murmured awkwardly. “I just don’t know if he’ll accept me, because of my job. There’s some….. preconceived ideas about my career.”

“I hope no one would be that shallow, but that does kinda suck,” Kyle sighed, shaking the hair out of his eyes.

“Why’s that?” I asked.

“I was gonna ask you out to be honest,” he admitted, biting his bottom lip.

“Oh really?” I exclaimed, and I heard Jane make a knowing noise in her throat.

“Yeah, I mean, if you’d want that,” he trailed off.

“You don’t mind my work?” I murmured.

“Well, don’t put a computer chip in my brain or anything, but it isn’t a deal breaker that you work in tech,” he explained.

“I’d love to go out with you Kyle,” I blushed.

“Awesome, here’s my landline number, you tell me a good time and I’ll organise something,” he beamed at me. I’d never seen Kyle smile like that before and it made me swoon.

“I will.”

THERE WAS THIS GAME I FUCKING LOVED AS A KID! it was called "fat princess"

i played it on PS3, i logged HOURS and HOURS on that stupid (/aff) game.

its a game where there are two princesses. the gamemode i would always play, is that theres two castles, your castle holds the enemies princess and the enemies castle holds your princess. you must break into the enemies castle, free your princess and carry her back into your castle, and have both princesses in your castle.

there were also different classes, towers you could capture, materials you needed to get, upgrades, catapults, cake to feed your prisoner, etc.

AND THE DLCS- with the dlcs, you could turn into a pirate, ninja, or giant, i loved that shit. being a giant was my fave ever

AND IF YOUR TEAM WON THE GAME, AND IF YOU WERE THE HIGHEST SCORER: you turned into the grim reaper and were invincible.

there was also this magic potion thing, my memories of this are a lil fuzzy because i didnt use it much, but you could throw a potion that would turn players into chickens.

deadass i was convinced this game was like a fever dream, i totally forgot this was real until a few months ago

anyways! the point is! i want to play it again.

i dont speak corporate, i dont speak techy languages, etc, but from my googling and from what i can understand, the company that made the game shut down(?)/merged with sony. sony didnt care about the game and just shut it down. there was an ios/mobile game that was released ages ago, but that also got shut down. im pretty sure theres a new fat princess game for PS4/5, but i dont have either of those consoles, not to mention that im pretty sure its a whole different game entirely.

if its not possible, thats okay, and ill be fine

but if there is any possible way for me to be able to play my fat princess again, i would be super fucking grateful to any advice/tips/help!
