Erina was still in the car and she was driving around the block trying to find an open spot to park. It is impossible to find one though and she is already five minutes late so she ends up going a bit furthr, still in search of a parking spot. After she parked she texted.

She walked to the meeting spot and when she saw him standing out of the cafe and under one of those decorations out of it she spotted the mistletoe. She approached him. “Hi. Did you stand under that on purpose?”

“People who care comfort instead of throwing the decisions we made in our faces.” She sighed, that wasn’t the reaction she expected from him for sure. “When I told you about what happened in the night club I expected to be comforted not be told that my job was the reason why. It’s not my fault if men are disgusting.” She had just shared with him the fact she had her body touched inappropriatedly in the club after a performance of hers. At least her blood was a lot less hot now or she would be yelling at him and crying. “I like my job, men that don’t know the limits.”

It was a party and somehow it had gotten to the point where they decided to play one of those cheesy games that they did back in their middle school or even high school days, 7 minutes in heaven. Minhyuk couldn’t help but laugh to himself when they started playing, then soon enough he ended up in the closet with a beautiful woman. He smiled at her, “Well, I guess this isn’t so bad since I ended up with a beautiful woman like yourself.” He chuckled and moved his hands to her hips to pull her close to his body, then closed the rest of the way leaving only an inch between their lips. “We might as well have some fun since we have 7 minutes in here, hm?” He chuckled softly before he pressed his lips against hers. Minhyuk kissed her slowly, then soon his tongue slipped out and ran along her lips asking for entrance as his hands moved to hold her a bit better against his body.

The singer used his first name, being a little bold and almost regretted having done so but being so infuriated clouded her judgement.

     Yes, she was tired of hearing about that marvelous woman, pure perfection that he couldn’t get over. Jihae was sure that his big love was a gorgeous human being in and out, someone she could never be and in fact she had never wanted to be. Even though she always tried to come off as cool and cold, Jihae did believe in love and romance, however not everyone was made for that. At least that was what she kept telling herself to prevent her heart from hurting and also not to hurt others. Some were like dandelion wine while some were like tequila made of cactus. Jihae was obviously the later one.

“You have told me enough about her to know that she’s just a usual woman. There are plenty like that in Korea and in the world. It’s time to move on and stop focusing on her as on some perfection.” The police officer wasn’t going to be tender and understanding with him or with anyone else. That woman had no filter when she was talking. “Being stuck at her you’re going to miss out meeting other nice women. You’re a fine man and there are a lot of nice women. One of them will love you and show you that that girl you’re so obsessed with is not the one.” She shrugged her shoulders before taking a sip of the beer that she had brought along with pizza that night. “I think your ‘love’ has already grown into a psychological obsession and an excuse to get drunk.” That was too much. She knew that. Then again, Jihae has always been too much.

that woman left leaving dahlia in deep thoughts. the problem was bigger than  she thought. coming to hyungshik with a baby and telling him that it’s his and he should take responsibility. given that it was someone from before she met him, she didn’t think that it was some kind of cheating thing but she couldn’t leave a poor kid without a dad, especially if hyungshik wasn’t sure that the kid wasn't his. 

“hyungshik....” she finally spoke standing up from the couch. “i must go ... i...think it’s best that we break up. it was nice while it lasted. but i don’t want to be together at this point. if that kid is yours... i don’t want to take away the kid’s right to have his dad...” she didn’t even face him while she said those words, because she knew the moment that she would look into his eyes, she would take back what she was saying. “so i’m sorry but... this is it for us.” she took a few steps to the side and avoided any eye-contact at that moment. it took all her resolution to hide the tears that were menacingly welling up.

“have you never worn a wig before?” chorong modeled her new cotton candy synthetic hair messily over her real hair, dark bangs shadowing pink ones. they were going to be wearing matching wigs for the valentine’s party tonight, of course she’d make it look nicer before they went though. she offered the baby pink wig to her friend, “put this on.”

Despite those mama doe instincts of hers, exhaustion had won and sleep claimed her before she could actually see their son. She slept so good too. Deep and restful. She’d feel at least a little recharged by the time she came to. Of course it’d be questionable when exactly she’d wake up. The events that passed had been dragged out for quite awhile.

And so she laid there. Sleeping and healing. But eventually a noise woke her up. She had no idea how much time had passed. Could have been hours. Or maybe only half an hour. But regardless, she only took a moment to be groggy and confused before everything hit her at once and she suddenly jerked awake. In a soft raspy voice that made it very clear she had a slight sore throat, she croaked out,

“Tae? Taekwoonie? Where is he? Did he cry? Is he okay? Is he here? Where’s my baby?”

She was a nervous wreck and they weren’t even home yet. They were still in the hospital. Motherhood was going to be one long and bumpy ride.

      Jihae wasn’t perfect either and after loosing her father she could be found in the bar with the bottle of wine more and more often. Life has never felt so heavy and in fact she didn’t want to live much, she just wanted to hold her revenge with the people who were at fault for her father’s death. Crashing them, destroying them and wipe them of existence. It was a heavy burden and she wasn’t always as strong as she wished to be.

That night however, she was strong enough to stop the fight that was definitely unequal. Yes, yes, the business man was the one who was picking the fight but those three were definitely using his state to beat him up. It wasn’t usual of her to stick into someone else’s business but as it was mentioned earlier the fight would be unfair and it’d be annoying. Just as the noise that they were making.

The man was attractive and Jihae wasn’t blind. She could sense power, masculinity and a little bit of arrogance that she could find sexy at times. At least at that moment he seemed sexy to her so the kiss wasn’t rejected, she even let her clothes fall down on the floor before she learned where was his living-room, then she had an glimpse of his bathroom and she did learn that his bed was a firm one. The police officer was tipsy but she did understand what she was doing and she wasn’t planning to regret it.

The only awkward thing was that she didn’t know his name. The woman mewled a light moan as she stretched her body that was a little sore. It would be way worse if she wasn’t so physically fit. For a second she couldn’t realize what was going on and where she was before she turned around to face the stranger (or not so much of a stranger anymore). “Damn..” With the whisper she tugged up the blanket to cover her nude body.

Roy quickly took a taxi because he was too lazy to drive on a winter, and slippery road anyway. He was too familiar with the pick up routine, he waited at the cafe he always wait for her to be arrived, ordering one hot coffee to warm his body. He took a glance at the announcement board to see that he plane was safely landed already.

This will be another meeting after they decided to get back together. So all the excitement was still fresh, it felt like they (or at least him) traveled back in time to when they just started their relationship.

rei was already out of the airport going at the arrivals while her luggage rolled behind her. she looked around searching for roy when she spotted someone whos he was certain it was him. she sped up her pace and once she caught up she smiled. “should i pull that mask you are wearing? mister royboy?” she said and winked at him. “i missed you way too much while i was gone! is your car parked here?”
