summary: you decided to do a little prank, turns out forgetting three little words is the fastest way to send several grown men into an emotional crisis.

Daniel Park:

“I love you, don't forget to call me when you get home!"

You: “Okay. Bye.”

Pauses. Processes. Doesn’t say anything.

Says nothing for 10 minutes, then hits you with:

“Is this a test?”

You: “What?”

“A test of loyalty. Honesty. Trust. Emotional—”

He looked like a puppy, whining, drenched in the rain, getting told to stay outside the house because he destroyed the sofa. You feel so bad for him so you stay with him for 30 more minutes outside your house to calm down.

Gun Park:

“Love you.”

You: “Alright."

You blink, and he’s suddenly standing five inches closer.

“Say it.”

You: “Say what?”

“You know.”

Stares at you so hard your soul leaves your body, you say “I love you” with your full chest just to survive.

Goo Kim:

“Love you~”

You: “Mhm!”

“MHM???”

Starts spiraling instantly. Drops to the ground like a dying Victorian man.

“You said ‘mhm’ like I handed you a napkin, not my heart.”

Demands reparations in the form of 20 kisses.

Johan Seong:

"I love you."

You text: "Thanks, you too."

"You too..?"

Goes dead. Goes silent. Doesn't reply or even see your texts for a whole day.

You return home and see him glaring at you.

“I knew it. I was right all along. Trust is an illusion. Love is a scam.”

You comfort him and assure that it was just a prank, and after a while of convincing you still love him (of course you do), he breathes a sigh of relief.

You practically see Eden and Miro facepalming.

Zack Lee:

“Love you! See you later!”

You: “See ya!”

He stops. Blinks. Turns.

“…Wait.”

Follows you like a shadow. You lock the door? He stands outside. You go to work? He shows up during your lunch break.

“You forgot. I can wait. I’m patient. You’ll break before I do.”

Vasco:

“I love you!!” 🥺

You: “Hehe okay bye!”

He doesn’t move.

He just... stands there. For a while.

Then he goes to Jace:

“…Do you think they still love me even if they didn’t say it?”

Jace: panicking internally “THEY ABSOLUTELY DO.”

Jake Kim:

“Love you.”

You: “'Kay. Later!"

He nods. Then he realizes.

“Damn. That’s crazy.”

Lua overhears and with a stroke of luck (for Lua, not Jake) gossips to the girls at Big Deal street.

Word gets along fast in the street and Jake gets clowned in the groupchat within minutes.

Samuel Seo:

You: “Bye! I'll let you know when I get there.”

Samuel: “Sure. Love you.”

You wave and get on the elevator without saying it back.

He blinks.

Loses his composure for a second but realizes he's in public and regains his nonchalance fairly quickly.

"Tch. Typical.”

Pretends he doesn’t care. Totally does.

Spends the rest of the day overthinking while fixing his hair in every mirror he passes.

DG/James Lee:

He texts it casually: “Love you.”

You: “Alright, later.”

Doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t comment.

Just quietly nods and moves on.

But his next text to you is noticeably more formal.

“...Let me know when you get home.”

No emojis. No pet names.

That’s his code for: “I noticed. I’m not mad. But I noticed.”

Ryuhei Kuroda:

“Love you!"

You: “Okay, bye!”

Malfunctions instantly.

“No no no NO. Run that back. Say it again. With feeling. Full sentence. I’m not letting this slide.”

Dramatically reenacts the moment for the rest of the day like it’s a trauma flashback.

You kick him out of the house and begs you to take him back.

Jace Park:

"Bye. Love you."

You: "Mhm."

His first instinct? Apologize to you.

“I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable by saying it first I didn’t mean to rush anything unless you do love me then that’s cool but if not that’s okay too unless it’s not then—”

Send help. He’s spiraling respectfully.

"Okay, bye."

You stare at each other for 5 more seconds, like you both had something to say.

In the end, he just nods calmly.

Looks away.

You turn around and catch him brooding at the sky like he’s in a coming-of-age film.

Hooked(Pt2)

I'll be honest. I have no idea where this is all really going. But it's fun to write. Hope you guys enjoy, any ideas/constructive criticism, by all means. Help. Also, prerequisite "I don't speak Cajun or French" and I'm sorry if Google Translate makes you mad, but it's kinda all I got. Writing in accents is hard, despite speaking with a deep southern drawl my whole life XD And if ya wanna be tagged, I guess let me know? I think I'm doing it right.

She sighed and made her way back to her window, which was a little more difficult to find in the dark. Then she just stared up at it for a long moment. She had not thought this through, clearly. From the ground to the window was a five-foot gap. There was nothing to really put her fingers or toes into for grip, curse the perfect maintenance on the building. And she hadn’t thought to just drop a rope, of which there was a disturbing amount to be found, or something similar to be able to climb up. And with her phone dead, she couldn’t exactly ‘phone a friend’ for assistance. She rubbed her hands over her face in annoyance at herself.

Just as she was about to give up and turn back to the forest, it wouldn’t have been the first time sleeping in a tree, a voice called down from above, “Now, Petite, what’chu doin’ out here, huh? Gon’ an’ gotcha self locked out? Good thin’ Ol’ Gambit was out patrollin’. Lemme help ya up.” She looked up, eyes wide, to see Gambit looking out the window above her own. He had a smile on his face and looked like the cat that had gotten the canary. Which was to say, entirely too pleased with himself.

Normally she would deny help, just because she hated to bother other people with her problems, but this time she was willing to make an exception. She just nodded. Gambit smiled again, “Hang tight, be down in a jiff.” Then he was gone from the window and she was left with her thoughts. Thankfully, he didn’t leave her outside for long. Soon enough, he was walking up to her.

“So, how’d ya en’ up ou’ere, huh? We all thought you was hol’up in yer room.” He said with a grin as he motioned back the direction he had come from. No doubt, the front doors. She sighed as she turned to follow him, but not before she glanced up towards her window one last time. Gambit caught her glance easily and followed her gaze. It didn’t take much for him to put two and two together, “Ah, jumped out t’window, hm? Cleaver. T’oh a good teif knows to leave a proper ‘scape route. Or return route in dis case. Why not call’er text ta be let back in?”

She grabbed her phone out of her back pocket, showed him the dark screen, then drew her finger across her throat in the universal sign for ‘dead’. He shook his head, “I see. Well, guess you lucked out wit me bein’ a night owl, huh Petite?” She nodded, just once, and gave him a grateful look. Because he had saved her, even if it was just from a minor inconvenience of having to find a tree to sleep in for the night.

His emotions tasted like cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon on her tongue. Warm, soothing, and with a slight spice. Comfort, care, curiosity, and something light and airy that she couldn’t put a name to. She couldn’t read minds like Xavier or Jean, though she had heard even if she could it would be pointless since Gambit seemed to be able to counteract telepaths. She hadn’t gotten the details on the how, just overheard that he could. But whatever it was that enabled him to escape a telepath’s abilities didn’t seem to help him escape her Empathic abilities, because his emotions were like an open book to her.

They made it to the front doors; that Gambit had left propped open which allowed a warm inviting light spilling onto the stone steps from inside. Not many people realized it, but it wasn’t just living creatures that could have emotions. Wood and stone held residual emotion, particularly strong ones. She could feel the emotions that had seeped into the wood and stone of the mansion over the years of it being occupied. It was yet one more reason why she would hide away or try to escape as much as possible. Her first day in the mansion had nearly driven her to insanity before Xavier had managed to place a temporary shield around her mind to help dull the intensity. Now she was able to create her own mental shields that were almost as strong. Still not enough to be normal, but better.

 “Here ya’re Petite, even left th’ light on for ya.” Gambit teased. The playful teasing tone of his voice perfectly matched the happy-joy-warm-citrusy taste of his emotions. They were so strong that she could feel her own lips pulling into a smile against her will. And of course, he picked up on her smile instantly, “Aww, dat fer me? Should smile more, looks good on ya.” He stepped to the side and, as if he were a prince from a fairy tale, bowed with his arms motioning towards the door, “After you, Chaton.”

She shook her head, unable to stop the smile that seemed almost permanently etched on her face, and stepped inside the mansion. Once inside, she closed her eyes and took a breath. It was something she had to do anytime she walked into a place not one hundred percent her own. She allowed the emotions to flow through her, hateangerfearlovejoypeaceexcitementconcernprotectiveness; but she did not hold on to them. She processed the feelings, acknowledged them, and then released them back into the room. It was the only way she could maintain her sanity.

She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt a hand on her shoulder, “Ya alrigh’? Ya always quiet, but rarely ever see ya be still as death.” Concern, worry, anxiety; it all tasted like the bitter pith of citrus. She hated it instantly. She shook her head and forced a smile. She had taught herself ASL years ago, about two years after her Siren Song had reared its ugly head and all but forced her to be Mute. But she had learned that nearly no one knew ASL unless they had a loved one that was Mute or Deaf. Which, in turn, relegated her to notebooks or her phone’s talk-to-speech function. Her phone was dead, and she was clearly without a notebook, so that left her with the world’s worst rendition of charades as her only option of communication. So for now, she just went with a simple, unmistakable, hand sign. She held her pinky, ring, and middle fingers up; while her thumb and pointer made a circle. The universal sign for ‘Ok’, followed by pointing to herself.

Gambit chuckled, “One’a dees days, gonna hear that voice a’yers. But alrigh’, you’re good. I hear ya, loud and clear Petite. I’ll walk ya t’yer room.” Before she could physically protest, he placed his hand on her lower back and started to guide her. His emotions made it clear that he didn’t think she couldn’t take care of herself, which she would have taken immediate offense to, but he still felt protective. Curious, and was that affection? She bit her lip, suddenly shy and unsure of herself. She wasn’t sure what to make of those emotions.

“Here ya’re Petite. How’s ‘bout you head on in and get some shuteye, yeah?” He waited until she had opened her door and stepped over the threshold before he leaned into her space, crowding her against the doorway, yet leaving her a clear escape if she so chose, “And Petite? I happen ta be fond of chats. Da kitten ya made Stormy was cute. Still waitin’ fer my lil’ surprise.” He pressed the words against the shell of her ear, making her heartrate kick into triple time. And when he pressed a fleeting; barely there to the point of making her think she might have imaged it, kiss against her jaw, just under her ear, she almost felt like the world as a whole had come to a screeching halt.

He leaned back and gave her a playful wink and casual wave, “Fais de beaux rêves, Petite. Sweet dreams.” And like that, he was gone. And she was left to try and figure out if she had imagined everything that had happened, or if it had been real.

If you go with the viz translation, Green might have considered he had to kill Vio in that fight lmfao.

I lean very much on he wasn't going to and wanted to just knock his ass out but the flicker of "Oh shit. I might have to do something horrible" is still a present thought added here.

Since we KNOW Vio has a scar from Blue tossing that rock, and Blue even brought up he wonders how bad Green's scar is Green clutching his stomach here is uhhhh. Concerning haha.

Not beating the "Vio fucked up your stomach" allegations there Green.

Dark Link might have not really gotten the POINT of Green remembering this fight.

or maybe he's just too distracted to care.

Green's fucking face when Dark says "I LIKE VIO TOO!" gets a fucking laugh out of me because holy shit he looks pissed.

Like the audacity of that statement given everything is so funny.

Dark flipping hair colors depending on who he's imitating/talking about is just a fun visual detail and makes me very happy this comic is in color.

Jealousy...It's best served with Depression From Dark Link.

Because dude just keeps sinking back into a depressive state. It's almost like Dark just, doesn't want to talk about himself at all with Green.

He'd rather Green talk about himself/his experiences.

SOooo since I'm here to give all the answers:

"Why WAS Dark crying in this scene?"

Cause of Vio.

He was crying Vio's tears.

His hair has changed to vio's color, and he doesn't even realize he's crying till Green points it out.

There's also the idea he didn't realize Green was TALKING to him since he's not used to being noticed.

Hehe flashback.

So something to note: Blue didn't talk to vio, but just came to sit with him...Weird.

I'm sure there will never be a follow up about that weird detail and it was thrown in for absolutely no reason. :D

So to loop back in on why Dark Link was crying, Vio is just, busted up on the inside about all the bullshit with Shadow Link.

But isn't really allowing himself to express that in any real way.

I added this in cause I felt we didn't get much closure on all the bullshit Vio did in the OG manga due to time. So, here ya go haha.

Vio really sums it up though. He "did" a lot of things by taking NO action. The guilt of inaction is haunting him HARD right now and it's just eating him up inside.

A continuous motif is when shown anything involving what Vio did to Shadow his face is obscured or not detailed, pitch black in shadows.

In this scene it's goopy which just adds this suffocating feel to his actions and words.

Vio's literally drowning in regret over his actions and can't reconcile with what he did.

Smth I honestly think the all ages rating completely holds back on us in the OG. Like I don't need over the top "oh nooo what have I become" but a LITTLE acknowledgement that vio watched Shadow (or at least it's heavily implied) kill people and outright text that he watched Shadow burn a forest would be nice.

We didn't see much of the consequences of Vio's actions even in just a self reflective idea despite them being SO HEAVILY FEATURED in the og manga.

Like we see the actions. We get no real closure for how vio is feeling about it. It's so odd.

Agh. So many emotions so hard to articulate the stuff behind them. XD

Green watching back on a past memory with just, a forlorn look on his face.

Dark is STILL crying and Green goes to wipe away his tears which just oomf.

Dark and Green's relationship is one I love VERY MUCH from a LOT of angles.

In a lot of ways in this scene specifically Dark is a stand in for Vio.

Green's wiping away Vio's tears from Dark. But it's still a sweet action regardless. He's showing kindness to an entity that hasn't been all that kind to him.

And on that note: Dark Link hasn't received much kindness from ANYONE.

Shadow's was basically entirely veiled in watching his own trauma from Vaati being thrown back in his face.

But there's not really strings attached to this action from Green. He's just wanting to comfort Dark, presumably as we'll see in a second BECAUSE he feels he failed when comforting Vio.

Anyway back to Vio and Green lmfao. I had too much to say about 2 panels of DarkGreen.

Vio questioning if Green hates him after this shit is a punch to the gut.

Haha guilt.

Guilt.

GUILT.

Green in FS just kinda fucked off and said "Screw them I don't care" when he was split up from them. (A reasonable response after so much bullshit lmfao)

but in doing so it opened him up to feeling a LOT of guilt over what DID go horribly wrong.

And it all sank in in this moment.

And current Green just watching back with sadness while giving Dark affection just aghhhh.

Pain. All I know is PAIN.

But as morbid as Green's words are it's true. Whether they succeed or fail at least they're together now.

Doesn't mean he's not still scared as hell.

This is the kind of characterization I wish we got from green in the og.

Like his bad leadership skills aren't really addressed in an impactful way outside of him fucking off for a bit haha. Which is never really brought up again after the pyramid bit and it only does in relation to how it affected HIM and not his team as a whole.

Green being more open about how he's a flawed leader is just smth I enjoyed adding.

Also hilarious you make such a disgusted face at the notion of smooching Shadow Link when page 358 is a moment green-

Smth I enjoy about Vio is just how much ANY link could be like him if they had enough removed from them.

Vio as a character to me is very much a side of Link that is completely willing to do ANYTHING to succeed and has NOTHING holding him back. Resulting in a very "not like link" link character.

The deadpan way Vio describes what he DID to Shadow Link.

Like in a lot of ways he's just. Numb. Like he's just dissociating with own actions.

It's less of a "Realization" that they're gonna have to deal with Shadow again at some point but the reminder still stings.

There's smth to be said on how I find a lot of people boil down the "Vidow is toxic thing" way to much and basically try to strip the convo of any nuance at ALL.

Here's an idea: They're both victims and perpetrators and they both care about each other but surprise surprise, being on two ends of the hero villain spectrum they were fucked from the start.

Vio lists what he did to Shadow here but Shadow was no fucking saint news flash: THEY TRIED TO KILL EACH OTHER. :D

They both did shitty as hell things to each other cause circumstances fucked them BOTH OVER.

Shadow: Pressured this bitch into joining him and DID NOT take NO for an answer and oh yeah tried to kill him when it turned out vio lied to him-

Literally wtf was Vio supposed to do when Shadow showed up in the woods. Pretending to be on his side just to not DIE if this massive lighting using man child decided to throw a fit if he kept saying no. Their entire team got wasted to shit by this guy and he tried to kill green at the start of the mangaaaaa.

Imo it's clear they care about each other it's freakin' circumstance that fucked them both over.

In terms of what they did to EACH OTHER I'd say Vidow is pretty even on that board. (If we don't count what Shadow did to other people in which, lmfao Shadow, the bad guy character is clearly more evil)

I have a lot of thoughts about Vidow lmfao.

I happen to like the fact they're a doomed romance I can give a happier and worse ending but that's just me-

I'm just gonna say it:

I am in love with the last panel for a LOT of reasons.

So many.

Like idk where to even start holy shit.

1st of all: Dark giving green the flower. I've shit posted he wanted Green to eat it but that's not a joke lmfao.

2nd of all: Dark Link being a sweetie not only in his actions but his words. It was very fun to write him with someone he truly deeply respects.

Vaati he considers too dumb to live and Shadow he straight up thinks is the evilest entity alive. Zelda he barely interacted with and I've given my thoughts on them I think but like, there's not enough there to really deeply dive into yet.

Green, GREEN IS SOMEONE HE OUTRIGHT LIKES! And we get to actually see Green and Dark interact for an extended period UNLIKE Dark and Zelda. (I will have a LOT to say about them later lmfao)

And what Dark is saying here just, is the truth. Green is downplaying what he did MAJORLY, and Dark getting him back into a realistic sense of what is even feasible for one person to do is a welcome thing.

Overall I'm very happy with the dialogue I ended up with being "You did what you could with what you knew, that's all anyone could ask of you."

It's words I think a lot of people need to hear at one point or another.

Also, Dark Link is in a very similar boat AS GREEN. Vaati puts insane expectations on him and acts like he's a failure for not meeting them. Dark hasn't quite been hit with the "i'm not good enough" stick yet to take any of that seriously but they are in a similar boat of having the weight of their own worlds on their shoulders.

This is an experience he can actually RELATE to Green on in his own way.

In a lot of ways, darks lack of insecurity, and him kind standing up for Green here is a reflection of how he doesn’t view himself as a failure despite being treated like one. He's seen failure and doesn't deem Green or himself failures and won't beat around the bush in saying as much.

Overall I think the point that Dark makes, that sometimes there is nothing else you can do. And digging yourself into a guilt hole is not helping. Reminding yourself "I did what I could with what I knew" is a good thing to keep close to your heart. I think that point feels very strong coming from him. XD

You as a single person can't fix everything and you shouldn't have to.

Dark's infamous bitching about Vaati doing NOTHING while he does all the work, and him saying to Green "Bro you did the best you can" feels so personal and well indented coming from him. Which ah, has been so lacking in someone who thus far has been around people like Shadow and Vaati. XD

3rd of all:

This highlights an aspect of Dark that has been, rather shrouded in a questionable variable.

If he can TRUELY be a helpful entity or if he's only really evil. Obviously there's clues that Dark is more than what he seemed at first since he uttered that he wanted kisses and cuddles lmfao.

But this highlights the "Dark is a fucked up therapist" angle.

Lastly this whole interaction just stands out as smth that doesn't benefit Dark in a single way. In fact it might actually be a detriment to him.

One of his self described tasks is to destroy their mentality so they can't do anything to Vaati. But respects Green too much to not say smth when Green is being an idiot towards himself. XD

Having Dark being a nuanced character is smth I enjoy a lot because he's just so complicated. Shadow's whole "I'm the hero link think" didn't go beyond basically just jabbing at Link there was a dude with his face running around being bad and reveled in being bad.

But I like exploring a character who TRUELY thinks they are like Link and not just doing it as a jab. Dark's delusions that he IS a good hero is what makes him so fun to me. (I do like Shadow's characterization but making Dark and Shadow substantially different from each other was the goal. XD)

Cause Dark Link's thoughts that he's a hero aren't skin deep or just him talking himself up vs Shadow. Dark's mind is constantly contradicting itself to what he's supposed to be doing.

His main goal often defaulting to just wanting connection with others even if it kinda bites his other goals in the ass. Cause dude is lonely as hell as well as depressed and connecting with others kind of becomes his main driving force vs his actual purpose. XD

Suffice to say: I like this one panel a lot and DarkGreen as a whole means a lot to me from a story standpoint not just pure shipping fodder. XD (Even though unironically I do think they're one of the best ships in the comic from a dynamic standpoint.)

I think Dark is an important character in EVERYONE progressing their development in FSR and I do like how he's so flexible as to be a good foil or nudge characters in certain directions.

Darkgreen as a dynamic specifically just hits good cause of how it feeds into Green's arc of accepting help and listening to the fact he's not a failure and that this time, he doesn't have to pile things on his own shoulders and he can rely on his team. (Which is similar to his arc from the manga but the twist here is that he feels he needs to bare the weight of being the team leader.)

Dark kind of ended up being a "Safe" person to talk about his anxieties about.

Which is very ironic.

Lmfao. Green wasn't expecting that at ALL from this dude.

panel 2 is funny cause haha more funny out of pocket things Dark says involving "romance" (His urge to be close to people)

The "huh?" "Huh?" back and forth is inspired by smth in AOT lmfao go figure but two characters "huh?" ing at each other just gets a laugh out of me.

Like they're both confused to shit.

Green especially must have a ton of crap going on up there because this dude is ALL OVER THE PLACE during this conversation but admitting "Hey I'd want you to kiss me too" is probs the weirdest part lmfao.

The absurdity and audacity is just, laughable.

I don't remember who exactly Dark is quoting but I know SOMEONE said "Shadow link's a really bad guy" (I really wanna say it is green lol) and I thought it'd be funny if Dark repeated them here considering the circumstances. XD

It sounds childish as fuck but also cements WHY Dark doesn't like Shadow Link immediately at least in context to Green. Since Green doesn't know anything about their scuffle.

Of course Green pries a bit because figuring out Dark and Shadow got beef is...interesting to say the least.

He saw Shadow shaking him like a magic 8 ball so he's not THAT surprised but still that's weird.

Dark fundamentally seems to not really understand why he pissed Shadow off or he's being obtuse on purpose. Take your pick. Either way he's very to the point on him perceiving Green as "Hating" Shadow Link.

When in reality it's a lot more complicated than that.

Green also catches Dark refers to himself as a hero here which, confuses him but also intrigues him a bit.

Since I'm pretty sure this is the first time Dark has proclaimed himself to be a hero in Green's presence. XD

And considering Green's context: That's a wild ass thing to say.

I think it's interesting Green feels safe enough to confide in Dark at all...

Or you could take it how I kinda thought and by mere proxy of Dark not really being someone he can't afford to not let down, he can be honest about his feelings.

The other 3 colors and Shadow he has to have an heir of control and leadership around. Dark, doesn't expect squat from him, Dark is kinda their enemy...and he isn't someone Green needs to have a mask around.

Dark also giving him wiggle room to feel safe for that second I think Green just kinda, broke and wanted to talk about his feelings with SOMEONE and that SOMEONE just happens to be the nightmare monster that's a mental terror.

I think he's also lowkey defensive about why he's still a bit ehhhhh relationship wise with Shadow Link. XD

Because Green's wording here is WEIRD

"Nothing was the same after...ALL of it." - is more in reference to their entire journey and while Dark is the curse destroying their head Green can't blame him for shit that SHADOW did to make them mentally unwell as hell haha.

Like...Well the things Green describes above.

SPECIFICALLY the "You didn't laugh while me and Vio nearly killed each other" is...AMUSING because Dark did just watch kinda in surprise at that lmfao. His take away from that fight was "You like Vio? I like vio too. ^w^"

Green's not aware that Dark did uh, goofy things involving vio at the start of this comic haha.

Green's general bitterness towards Shadow makes a ton of sense. As Green puts it, Shadow put them through HELL. And he has every right to be pissed I think even if Shadow helped them in the end.

1 - It's called denial sweetheart they were both in it last night. XDDDD Vidow be complicated ya just gotta accept it.

2 - I fucking love Dark Link. He's just a treasure. Confused by Vio and Shadow's confusing ass relationship.

3 - Green's got that sexy self reflection to make his opinions nuanced.

The admittion Dark thinks Green is a good hero also gives insight into what Dark THINKS a good hero IS to begin with.

What's fun here is just how different of a character Green is to Vaati or Shadow. Dark Link (At this point) hasn't had anything to berate Green on being hypocritical or weird about. (That wasn't Green's direct insecurities that Dark was just parroting) When in comparison to Vaati or Shadow who are "lying idiots". XD

Green downplays any good things he does while wallowing in his mistakes And Dark's like "...What are you talking about???"

Also Green. That last statement. You shouldn't have said it haha.

1 - That moment where Dark just, freezes and stops talking and STARES. Greens' like "Uh...you okay" wordlessly.

2. Creepy face.

3. Oh dear it's worse. XD I cannot remove the inflections from that one Lazy town meme "WOULD YOU LIKE TOO!?" and it makes me laugh but Dark's in general just, creepy as hell in these panels.

Also fun time into getting into Dark Link blushing since I don't know if I've gone into that:

Dark Link blushes for a lot of reasons but tends to do it when he's emotionally unstable. And he FOR SURE IS after Green made that throw away statement that he's unable to see into memories.

Dark Link is ALL too eager to share that experience though. For better or for worse.

I call him a sweaty weirdo for a reason. Dude be sweaty. XD

This entire page is hilarious and horrible for Green but Dark having no emotional filters is the norm for him at this point hah.

The main take away here is that Dark wants a "yes" out of Green when it comes to letting Green see something.

Green's horrified "WHAAAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR FACE!?" is the first time someone's ACTUALLY referenced verbally that Dark makes disturbing expressions. XD

Which is another thing Dark does involuntarily when over excited. Like it's obvious Dark's not a normal human and I don't exactly think the hylian-ish form we see of him is his natural state. I think it's the result of him mimicking Link's appearance.

I think the interesting take away is that Green kinda catches on imediately Dark isn't acting this way to scare or hurt him but just has zero emotional regulation. But who'd fault Green for being scared from this behavior. XD

Dark's dialogue is all sorts of concerning here. Saying "They can watch whatever Green would like", which is very much a push to get Green to watch SOMETHING with him to a point where he doesn't care WHAT it is as long as they do it. But describes the process as "Sickening" which... Seems to throw the idea it'd be "fun" out the window but he proceeds to say "It'll be SO fun we'll both THROW UP"

Which uhhh.

Okay then buddy.

The response Green gives, which is to just gently push Dark off him is a far cry from how Vaati and Shadow treat him physically.

Green's got insane patience.

Which speaking of that, if Dark is ONLY used to physically violent actions towards himself, him shoving Green on the ground and not really thinking about it makes a lot more sense.

I think the most gentle thing someone's done was Shadow and Vaati patting him on the head.

It's funny to me how Dark kind of realizes his behavior was inappropriate from Green's reaction and apologizes. Which, again is smth you wouldn't expect out of your casual evil villain man.

Green comes to the conclusion that Dark is nuttier than a squirrel which...took ya long enough bud XD

Again Green kind of applies "This is a bad guy who's trying to trick me" logic. Which we know isn't really Dark's style.

Lying is what his DAD does after all-

Dark confusing the words "Catch" with like, the physical action of catching something which is just smth I find cute.

I'm sure I've touched on it before but Dark's conflation of "Fun" and "Pain" has been smth with him from the start of the comic. (Masochist much lmfao)

And on a level he kinda knows it'll make Green miserable to watch something with him but kinda doesn't care and just wants to do it WITH SOMEONE for once. Thus he doesn't want any payment because, well. Asking for payment would be rude.

I just like his completely broken logic on that because it shows how mangled Dark's idea of things like pleasurable and painful experiences are.

Green's determination is a turn on for Dark apparently.

Just kidding but Green. Green. Awww Green.

I think I once saw someone says that Tsukasa is possibly sensitive, like- He often doesn't really show what he's really feeling, but he's quick to jump to conclusions (Like the time he thought Amane hated him for some reason)

And, if u take a closer look at his eyes in this panel...

It's almost like he's crying-? Okay, not really; There are no tears falling, but it really looks like he was about to cry.

Heey, you are brazilian, ain't ya? XD It made me so happy, ok I'll put the answer in english (so everyone can understand) and in portuguese for you, ok?

If you want, you can skip to the text in Portuguese, but I will only include the images in the English parts. OK? OK!

Tsukasa's eyes, of course, those eyes.

Particularly, the way the eyes are represented in this work is spectacular. The eyes can reflect the feelings of the characters without them needing to say a word, I like talking about these eyes, whether they are Amane, Yashiro, they speak and you noticed that.

Every now and then we see Hanako reflected in Yashiro's eyes, like a work of art, her eyes reflect him while shining brightly, what can you read by looking at them? The joy of seeing the person she loves again after so long, the surprise that he is there in front of her, and she has tried so hard that she is about to cry, and she actually does.

So take a good look at those eyes

So for a moment, Hanako looks like this

And in another, like this

The watery eyes, the ones that show that we are about to burst into tears at any moment. Those are Tsukasa's eyes too.

Baby Tsukasa is the more human version of him. We can see how loving and affectionate he is, whether with his parents, his brother and even with animals.

It's worth remembering that Tsukasa didn't know what that creature in the house did with the animals (not even us).

He is sentimental, but like Amane he shows it with attitudes, and even so he talks more than his brother. How many times did you see Tsukasa saying that he loved him?

How many times have you seen Amane say this?

If we make a comparison Amane loses very easily. Tsukasa demonstrates that he loves him even after death. Even though his brother was responsible for his death.

The moment we almost see Tsukasa cry is when he finds out that his older brother kills him in the future. Because Tsukasa apparently feels rejected by his brother, so he tries his best to make Amane love him.

His brother is sick, so he might be thinking "Amane doesn't like me, but what if I bring him a new ball, will he like me? What if I bring him another book?"

You see? Every moment we follow Tsukasa's childhood he is bringing something to Amane, he is doing something for Amane, he is by Amane's side, it is always Amane.

He is a twin, we know that twin brothers are more attached than ordinary brothers, so in addition to all this love between them, Tsukasa is about to lose the brother he loves so much to an illness.

Can you feel his pain?

"My brother is going to die, and he hates me, I want him to love me, I want him to live"

Tsukasa did what he could to save his brother, and the love he showed him was what he thought was right. Tsukasa loves toys, so he figured his brother would love them too.

Kou told him that just because they are twins doesn't mean they know everything about each other. That's what Tsukasa thought, if I love it, Amane loves it too, so I'll give it to him and he'll love me for it.

Then he finds out that the brother he tried so hard to save, who he did so much to be loved by, kills him.

So this reaction. A Tsukasa about to cry

Then the heartache came, he didn't come back just because he missed Amane, he came back to understand why his brother killed him.

It was as if he confirmed right there that Amane really hated him. Is there greater proof than this?

Then he comes back. And his eyes still reflect who he was, even though he's changed, don't you think?

The innocent eyes are here

and the melancholic ones too…. No shine

Just a dark blur

Proof that this hurt is reflected even in the sealed Tsukasa is the first thing he says to his brother when he meets him again.

"Will you protect her? but you killed me"

He will protect the girl using the knife that killed him. Can you feel the hurt in that sentence?

Even though he is hurt, Tsukasa shows that he loves him, no matter what version of him he is. He suffers because he tried so hard for this brother, he literally gave his life to save his, and Amane took Tsukasa's life again.

He received the first stab the moment he discovers this.

And he is about to cry, because his effort was in vain. He did everything for his brother, and his brother still hates him. That's what he thinks. So it's okay if Tsukasa does bad things, Amane really hates him, it doesn't matter anymore.

Tsukasa likes to see Amane's expressions, maybe because his brother doesn't say what he feels, but as I've said several times

His eyes reflect his feelings.

Tsukasa wants to see how Amane feels, and he gets it that way.

Then…

Baby Tsukasa has feelings, he shows it all the time. Don't confuse him with the sealed Tsukasa, this one is a chaotic mess that was created to control Amane, those dark dull eyes of the sealed Tsukasa are hard to read. There may be some feeling in him, but we don't know what and if he will show us.

One day we will know how Tsukasa really feels. For now I just want to hug him.

Particularmente, a forma como os olhos são representados nessa obra é espetacular. Os olhos conseguem refletir o sentimento dos personagens sem que eles precisem falar uma palavra, eu gosto de falar sobre esses olhos, sejam de Amane, Yashiro, eles falam e você percebeu isso.

Vez ou outra nós vemos Hanako refletido nos olhos de Yashiro, como uma obra de arte, os olhos dela o refletem enquanto brilham intensamente, o que você consegue ler olhando para eles? A alegria por rever a pessoa que ama depois de tanto tempo, a surpresa por ele estar ali na sua frente, e ela se esforçou tanto que está a ponto de chorar, e ela realmente o faz.

Tsukasa bebê é a versão mais humana dele. Nós conseguimos ver o quão amoroso e carinhoso ele é, seja com os pais, o irmão e até mesmo com os animais.

Vale lembrar que Tsukasa não sabia o que aquela criatura da casa fazia com os animais (nem mesmo a gente).

Ele é sentimental, mas assim como Amane ele demonstra com atitudes, e mesmo assim ele fala mais do que o irmão. Quantas vezes você viu Tsukasa falando que o amava?

Quantas vezes você viu Amane falar isso?

Se fizermos uma comparação Amane perde com muita facilidade. Tsukasa demonstra que o ama mesmo após a morte. Mesmo o irmão sendo o próprio responsável por sua morte.

O momento em que quase vemos Tsukasa chorar é quando ele descobre que seu irmão mais velho o mata no futuro. Porque Tsukasa aparentemente se sente rejeitado pelo irmão, então ele se esforça ao máximo para fazer Amane amá-lo.

Seu irmão está doente, então ele pode estar pensando "Amane não gosta de mim, mas e se eu levar uma bola nova para ele, será que ele vai gostar de mim? E se eu levar outro livro?"

Você vê? Em todos os momentos em que acompanhamos a infância de Tsukasa ele está levando algo para Amane, está fazendo algo por Amane, está ao lado de Amane, é sempre o Amane.

Ele é gêmeo, nós sabemos que irmãos gêmeos são mais apegados que irmãos comuns, então além de todo esse amor entre eles, Tsukasa está a ponto de perder o irmão que ele tanto ama para uma doença.

você consegue sentir a dor dele?

Meu irmão vai morrer, e ele me odeia, eu quero que ele me ame, quero que ele viva.

Tsukasa fez o que estava ao seu alcance para salvar o irmão, e o amor que ele demonstrou para ele era o que ele achava ser certo. Tsukasa ama brinquedos, então ele imaginou que o irmão ia amar também.

O Kou disse a ele que não é porque são gêmeos que eles sabem tudo um do outro. Era o que Tsukasa pensava, se eu amo isso, Amane também ama, então vou dar a ele e ele vai me amar por isso.

Então ele descobre que o irmão que ele se esforçou tanto para salvar, que ele fez tanto para ser amado por ele, o mata.

Então essa reação. Um Tsukasa a ponto de chorar

Então veio a mágoa, ele não voltou apenas por sentir falta de Amane, ele voltou para entender porque o irmão o matou.

Foi como se ele confirmasse ali que Amane realmente o odiava. Existe prova maior que essa?

Então ele volta. E seus olhos ainda refletem quem ele era, ainda que tenha mudado, você não acha?

e os melancólicos também…. Sem brilho, apenas um borrão escuro. (Imagens)

Uma prova de que essa mágoa reflete até mesmo no Tsukasa selado é a primeira coisa que ele fala ao irmão quando o reencontra. (Imagens)

Vai proteger a garota usando a faca que o matou. Você consegue sentir a mágoa nessa frase?

Mesmo magoado, Tsukasa demonstra que o ama, não importa qual versão dele seja. Ele sofre porque se esforçou tanto por esse irmão, ele literalmente deu a sua vida para salvar a dele, e Amane tirou a vida de Tsukasa novamente.

Ele recebeu a primeira facada no momento em que descobre isso.

E ele está a ponto de chorar, porque seu esforço foi em vão. Ele fez tudo pelo irmão, e o irmão ainda o odeia. É o que ele pensa. Então está tudo bem se Tsukasa fizer coisas ruins, Amane o odeia mesmo, não importa mais.

Tsukasa gosta de ver as expressões de Amane, talvez porque o irmão não fale o que sente, mas como eu já falei várias vezes

Seus olhos refletem seus sentimentos.

Tsukasa quer ver como Amane se sente, e ele consegue dessa forma.

Então…

Tsukasa bebê tem sentimentos, ele mostra a todo momento. Não o confunda com o Tsukasa selado, este é uma bagunça caótica que foi criado para controlar Amane, aqueles olhos escuros e sem brilho do Tsukasa selado são difíceis de ler. Pode existir algum sentimento nele, mas não sabemos qual e se ele vai nos mostrar.

Um dia saberemos como Tsukasa realmente se sente. Por enquanto eu apenas quero abraçá-lo.

Made a bunch of random Orange sketches 'cause I was bored 😅

(I just realized I forgot to give him ears on the 3/4 view ones...oops 😅)

The bottom three sketches where his hair is all spiky like Red's are his design when he's older (a teenager). It is so hard to draw though so it looks weird on the front view and especially the side view where it also flares out a lot in the back (but I'm not very good at drawing side view to begin with so...yeah 😅). Child Orange though is much easier for me to draw, so most of these are child Orange (including a side view attempt of child Orange as well which looks less weird than teen Orange in my opinion).

If you can't read the text because of my terrible handwriting, the grin has a "Hehe!" laughing sound above it, the rage face where he's speaking says, "If y'all hate this world so much why don'cha go back t'space where ya belong?!" (He's roasting Team Galactic here and Dia and Pearl are shocked hearing that come from the kid who, while he has a fiery temper, he normally doesn't talk to people he doesn't know or trust...but Team Galactic made him reach breaking point and he burned them good...and the best part is...that's not even the full quote! XD) The little confused/suspicious face has a question mark next to it for obvious reasons, and the one where he's holding up a Poké Ball says "Grrr...Battle! NOW!" (someone insulted his ability to be a Trainer and he's ready to prove them wrong).

Adore the lanterns Macky hung up here, he really likes them!! There's some of those during the Brotherhood's dinner scene too. Probably his decor suggestion for their little kingdom :D When we next see him again when the gang drops off, he's in a whole new cave because the last one was over a cliff, this new one seems to be in Wukong's secret room? Would this be the monkey equivalent of couch surfing 🤔 also dwaa, he's just napping with the monkey but lol sir? Why are you opening your blind eye to check, I mean. is it the instinct of possibly being right side dominant? but he's smiling happily at the hugs and MK's choice 🥺 *punches his shoulder* knew you had a heart in there bud! So goofy, he swings on the vines of the shadows. The physics of this power is fascinating. I suppose Wukong has difficulties facing things and that could seem like ignoring them, but not because he doesn't care. I'd say MK is pretty accurate in his assessment here. But the question is: Which assessment does Wukong agree with VS what's true. Remember when I was so hooked on Macky's intro? Finally four whopping seasons later. "It's great seeing ya bud!" Yeah he was just throwing Wukong's line here right back at him. Same emphasis on "bud" and all. A whole divorce and couple centuries dead and he's STILL hooked on that. The fact that it was followed up with "just run off like you always do." is extra ouch because it's what Peng always saw him as and Wukong never stepped in and here he's AGREEING. Have you always thought that. I'm glad you're having a breakdown over all the cuteness, as promised ^_^ and the voices yesss, they managed to capture so much nuance here I ADORE IT. Best animated verbal fight EVER.

Shadow!mike

So uh yeah suprisingly enough he does exist, but uh imma explain some stuff before he just appeared XD, so i think it happend after the whole rip out soul thing where mike shoved his soul back in and contuined the walk around, and then found a little place of the shadow realm that looked like a city, while mike was exploring he spotted a shadowy cat which seemed to trust him immediately when seeing him, and in the dream it played the little noise then noelle or susie fully join the party in deltarune and put text saying "the shadow cat joined your party" mike then had a thought of naming it, and then suggested some names (i forgot all of the names he suggested XD) and then the shadow cat picked the name "shade" so mike now has shade and stitchy on his party, and yes stitchy does kinda count as a pokemon cues of a fight with shadow!miki, stitchy kinda protected mike anyways, mike keeps exploring and spots some shadowy plushie cats that were moving around, they were called the patchworks, alot of them seemed scared of mike then they noticed him and skittered off, mike was confused but crouched down to one, who had a spot over his eye(also all the pathworks have differnt colored patches on them), the cat seemed scared but mike reached his hand out and then said "..hey its okay.....i wont hurt you...." which the cat was still cautious but slowly trusted mike, enough to join the party, this one i got to nickname and the only name i thought of for it was "spot" it liked it, and after that mike got up and contuined to explore, he left the little city and then encountered shadow!steven who seemed more pissed then normal and said "you traitor..." mike was obviously confused and said "what....do you mean?" and shadow!steven responded with "OH DONT TRY TO PLAY COY WITH ME YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID, YOUR PROBABLY GONNA BETRAY STITCHY ASWELL", mike was still confused but now almost crying and just hugged onto stitchy(also this stuff might be a little out of order), after a bit(im unsure what happend cues after the crying scene the dream ended), mike arrived at a shadowy lake, and then meets shadow!mike who was just sitting by the lake, and then said "oh...hello...do you want to watch the water aswell", mike agrees and sits next to him to watch the water, now uh its hard to piecse together what happend cues i got multiple dreams of these 2 just chillin so imma just try to piecse it together here, so mike and shadow!mike chat for a bit, and mike asked "uh....so do you have any nicknames for your brother?" and shadow!mike awnsered with "raspberry....or....i call him....razz" mike was kind of suprised by this, and shadow!mike said another thing "ya know even tho he hates everyone with my name.....he is usually one big goofball, thats the main reason i nickname him raspberry cues his sweet like one....ha...i wish i could help get him back to the goofball he once was", now uh time for it to be more confusing, cues shadow!mike presumably said something that made mike mad and say "were nothing alike, sure we share a name but i actually care about my brother unlike you" which i think happend before shadow!mike just went sad boi, but im unsure, and also another thing that happend is mike giving shade to shadow!mike sense he was stressed and shade seemed to trust him, and shadow!mike just hugged shade and said "....kitty..." while crying, but uh ye, also another thing i forgot to say mike doesnt have dewdrop at all on his team in this dream which is weird, so i kinda think maybe dewdrop is missing but idk, anyways thats mainly it XD

I've worked many years in food service, though I'm not there now, and like---

one of the first things my aunt said to my mom when she found out I was waitressing is 'ya know there's a lot of drugs in the restaurants...' and like-- fuck she was right

most of the people I worked with had some kind of past, and while not everyone was fixing their lives (saw a handful of co-workers actively making their lives WORSE), I saw a lot of people working hard to make shit better for themselves, and a lot of people trying their best to turn their life around

I've had co-workers come into work high (no not just weed, but also that lol), not come in cause they were in jail, and 5 of my former co-workers are dead (that I know of), 3 of whom died while we were still working together

(one of them I actually closed with the night before. I'm not gonna pretend we were close or that I liked him, we actually very obviously hated each other to the point where it was kind of a running joke at work, but it's still bonkers to see him one night then get a text the next morning that he was gone...)

idk man, I do really like that they're not shying away from like--- restaurant crews can come from some pretty messy back grounds

idk I don't have a point to this, but I will say I like Mackenzie more knowing he has a past

also wow a cook that's been to jail-- honestly you probably wouldn't be a real cook if you didn't XD (or been in the military, lots of ex-armed forces dudes in restructuring)
