how to make business plans: spend 2 weeks looking for a website to make a visual plan guide that you can collaborate with business partners, but you end up nowhere because all of them require paid subscriptions to do more than a few basic things. except you don't want to pay for these because you don't have a business yet and therefore no money!!!! but you need more than basic features (basically you can only put 50-100 items on your board with free account and i will definitely need more)
#WHY DOES EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET HAVE TO BE SUBSCRIPTION NOW#i miss the days where you could use a website and all the features for FREE.#or at best only have one-time fee or subs for advanced stuff only profitable big businesses need and can also afford#the average person is starting to get locked out of the internet. we already pay for the internet itself. everything is too expensive#i need to make my own business so i can afford to live but everything to mae a business costs too much!!!!!!!#im too autistic for this shit. “this shit” being “a profitable member of society”#i cant get a big cool job to make a ton of money and then afford to easily become a millionaire#i bet most millionaires and all billionairs didnt work a day in their life to afford to start their businesses#and if they say they did they lie#lee rambles#i found a free unlimited one but you have to download the program and save everything locally#so it doesn't look like you cam collab with other people which defeats the purpose of what im trying to do 😭#i wanted to use milanote or whatever its called because i liked how you can link separate pages to keep things clear/uncluttered#but i dont want to pay $12 a month i think it was? to put more than 100 items on the boards. that goes so fast#but i might have to use it and just cram things together in a messy fashion to not hit that limit......#you can double the amount by referring people to make an account but still. i hate bekng limited#and being forced to pay to not have limits!!!! let me be free and only pay for advanced stuff i can live without for fuck sake#i dont know what im doing. but im making an attempt to business or something

“Damian takes a pic with a mall santa, chaos ensues”~ anon
For 12 Days of Batfam prompts
“I do not see why traveling here was necessary.”
“Aw, don’t be like that, Dami! We’re going gift shopping!”
“Clearly. However, actually going to this cesspool of idiots is ridiculous. The internet exists for a reason, Richard. It is about time you learned how to use it.”
“That takes all the fun out of it though,” Dick pouts, landing a hand in Damian’s perfectly combed hair. “It’s practically like a tradition at this point. Besides, it’s a lot more fun to actually look at what you’re buying and not just try and guess what it’s like through a screen. What if it wasn’t like you wanted? What then?”
“Returns exist as well,” Damian grumbles, swatting at the hand still latched firmly to his scalp. “If the purchase is void, then a simple return is all that is necessary to begin again.”
“For once,” Tim sighs, cringing a bit at the obnoxious mall-music and over enthusiastic sales people trying to approach him, “I agree with the brat. This is uncomfortable and just… over the top. I know what I’m looking for, and reviews on products help determine if the thing is actually good. There isn’t any reason to be here, Dick.”
“On the contrary, my beloved brothers,” Dick grins, mouth stretching impossibly wide as his eyes land on something in the distance, “There is actually a fantastic reason for us to be here.”
As if deciding on something, Dick nods to himself before quickly turning around and clapping his hands together. “Okay, here’s the plan. We’re already here and it would be a waste to drive back after it took us an hour to get here, so we are staying.”
Cue the simultaneous groans.
“Ah, ah, ah,” Dick reprimands. “Let me finish. You guys can do anything you want. It’s the freakin mall, so it’s got other stuff than just stores. I don’t care what you do, as long as it’s legal. You could even just hang out in the food court, as long as you’re doing something. I need to do a couple things, but I will call you when I’m done and we’ll rendezvous somewhere.”
“You are leaving me here?” Damian asks, surprised. “With Drake of all people?”
Dick leans down to ruffle his hair again, but Damian moves away, a dark scowl edging its way onto his brow. “No, I refuse to be left alone with this imbecile.”
“As if I’d want to babysit you in the first place,” Tim mutters, glaring at the youngest.
Dick smiles pleasantly, a contrast to the way he squeezes both of their shoulders tightly, pulling them closer to him.
“We’re not going to have any problems, right boys?” he asks sweetly, eyes crinkling. “Because it would be a shame if I had to make use of that lovely return policy on all the gifts I had planned this year.”
“Do you take me for a child-”
“Seeing as this is the last week I have left in Gotham, it would be quite the disappointment if I didn’t get to train surf with either of you before I leave again too.”
Damian shuts his mouth quickly, the idea of banning dual patrol before the eldest’s departure more threatening than lost gifts.
“I don’t like train surfing,” Tim says smugly, crossing his arms in victory, “and I don’t like playing babysitter.”
Dick slowly tilts his head towards him, and the strain in his smile is enough to make Tim wither a bit.
“All I’m asking for is maybe an hour of alone time while I get some stuff done. You don’t have to do anything together, you don’t have to go shopping if you’re so adamant on doing it online, and you don’t have to eat. Just please stick together. That’s all. Please, Tim.”
His resolve lasts all of four seconds before it crumples, and Tim looks to the side as he groans out a forlorn, “Fine.”
“Great!” Dick exclaims, an easy smile blooming back onto his face. “I’ll see you guys in an hour.”
And just like that, Dick disappears into the crowd, leaving behind two very disgruntled boys in his steed.
They stand there, refusing to acknowledge one another’s presence, before Tim sighs again and thinks, Well, might as well be a big brother. Holiday spirit and all that jazz.
“Okay,” he starts, half-way turning to face the youngest again, “Is there anything you want to do?”
Damian doesn’t say a word.
“Any stores?”
Silence.
“They, uh, have a movie theater in here. Any movies?”
Damian still refuses to open his mouth.
Well, fuck me, I guess, Tim bemoans, having the inability to think of anything worse to do than spend his Saturday afternoon looking after the gremlin in his charge.
Suddenly, Damian turns on his heel and begins walking away. Tim frowns, chancing a quick glance behind him to see if Dick was secretly watching them and if he could make a break for it, but decides against it at the last second. A happy Dick Grayson was infinitely easier to deal with rather than a disappointed one.
Everyone knew disappointment was worse than anger.
He follows Damian quietly, keeping his distance and sidestepping the insane amount of people and sellers, all looking to get something. Tim doesn’t hate people, per-say. He finds them fascinating at times, but when he’s not looking to be fascinated, he just finds them uncomfortable to be around. Noisy, touchy, and all around obnoxious. There were precious few people Tim could say he liked to be around, and these strangers in the enormous mall were not them.
Damian walked with purpose, easily evading others and taking turns as if he knew where he was going. Perhaps he did, but Tim can’t recall a time where any of them actually frequented the mall often enough to know where things were. At least without looking at a map or asking an employee.
A minute later and Damian vanishes from sight. In a blink, he’s gone from the endless swirl of people and Tim panics slightly. How does someone lose a child so quickly? How is that possible? He was literally right in front of him, Tim had his gaze locked on the green hoodie, but it’s as if the brat was made of air. Poof, gone.
He pauses, turning this way and that in search of the elusive Wayne. It was unfortunate that the brat was shorter than the average 13 year old, if only by half an inch, but now was not the time to goad over heights. Tim is tempted to just text Dick and say he lost Damian, but hearing that in his head, after literally five minutes of being alone, does not sound like a fantastic idea. He can practically predict the lecture that would follow, words of, “Come on, I know you guys don’t get along super well, but he’s your brother,” and “I was gone for all of two seconds- how did he escape so easily?”
Tim groans, a common thing he’s been doing ever since they stepped into the epitome of capitalism, and resigns himself to continuing the search. Oh, he was so going to beat the brat during their next spar. This entire thing was not worth the discounts.
.
.
.
Damian smirks as he watches Drake fiddle around like a fool, searching blindly for him. If Drake had actually been paying attention, he would have seen Damian step into the small candle store to the right, hiding behind an outrageous depiction of Saint Nick practically shoving some holiday scent down his throat.
As it were, though, Drake was a twit with half the brains of a goldfish, and Damian feels a sense of satisfaction wash over him as the older teen walks away in the opposite direction.
He was free and alone. Perfect.
Well, not really.
Damian had agreed to go to the mall in the first place on the condition that it would just be he and Richard. It had sounded somewhat enjoyable, Richard hinting at some sort of surprise, but he was greatly displeased at the sight of another figure waiting for them in the car. Of all the people in the world to choose from. Of all the available and useless ignoramuses out there, Richard just had to ask Drake to come along.
Of course, he immediately protested because he had been promised that it would just be the two of them, but Richard insisted and used that horribly childish face with wide eyes and saddened sulk and giving in, at that point, was the only wise decision Damian could make from then on. In no way did he plan on spending this hour with Drake, awkwardly attempting conversation and suggestions that sounded boring enough to sleep to.
So, his plan of action was simple and executed flawlessly. All he had to do for the next 50 minutes was stay out of sight of both Drake and Richard, and the rest of that time was his to do with as he pleased.
He had already chosen gifts to present later on in the week, there was no need to do extra shopping, so all there really was to do was explore.
Which is exactly what he did for the next forty minutes before he felt his phone begin to vibrate in his back pocket. He pulls it out, squinting at the caller ID of Grayson.
He lets it ring for a few seconds, some part of him thinking the wait as some sort of pay-back for betraying his promise, and answers on the last ring.
“Damian?” Richard says, urgency coloring his voice.
Instantly, Damian is paying more attention. “Yes? What is it?”
“I need you to meet me at the center, it’s important.”
“The center?” Damian mutters, scanning the crowded walkways for a map. “Why? What is happening?”
“I’ll fill you in when you get here, okay? Just get here as fast as possible.”
“Affirmative.”
Richard hangs up first and Damian begins searching for the nearest wall-map. He finds one and tsks when he sees he’s in the far west region of the mall, the center, if he walked like a normal person, taking upwards of about five minutes to reach.
He’d been given no details, nothing except the urgent lilt in Richard’s voice, a dead give away to how nervous he was. Nervous about what though? What could possibly make Nightwing frantic in an area like this? It must be something mildly bad, or at least dangerous for civilians, for Richard to call him. Crowd control possibly.
He hadn’t heard anything other than the usual noise of the populace, so Damian rules out a fire or some maniac shooting. There doesn’t seem to be an urgency in the way the crowd shifts, no clear tell for panic.
His phone vibrates again and Damian immediately answers.
“Where are you?” Richard asks, that same nervousness pitching his voice.
“I am near a clothing store: Urban Outfitters,” he responds, picking up his pace slightly.
“Hurry,” Richard pleads. “You need to be here in two minutes or less or else I might- just hurry, please. When you reach the center, there will be a large Christmas tree off to the right. I’m over there. Find me when you get here.”
“Wait, Richard-” but Damian can’t get anything else in before the older man hangs up again.
The vagueness of the situation begins to worry Damian as well, doing as asked and trying his best to weave in between people and their annoying need to create a stiff, horizontal line wherever they walked. He curses when a little girl holding an absurdly shaped stuffed animal darts out in front of him, oblivious to the obstruction she’s caused.
She trips and falls, slapping into the smooth tile. Damian is tempted to walk around her, unmoved by her pitiable cries for her clumsiness, but when he glances back and sees no one else, no parent or sibling or literally any other bystander willing to help her, he rolls his eyes and turns back around. He holds out a hand and pulls the little girl to her feet, her tears silenced by the strange act of kindness.
“Where are your parents?” he asks gruffly, anxious as the precious seconds tick by.
“Uhhhh….I don’t know.”
I should’ve kept walking, Damian thinks to himself.
.
.
.
Tim is practically giddy with excitement. Dick stands behind him, arms crossed and peering over the heads of countless other parents and children, in search of Damian.
After having wandered around in a vain search for the brat, Tim had finally given in and texted Dick, apology in tow, when Dick had told him to meet him in the center of the mall. There, Tim had spotted the eldest standing in a long line filled with kids no older than eight and tired parents, disheveled and attempting to keep their children’s hair neat.
As soon as he’d tapped on his shoulder, Dick had reared around, the biggest shit-eating grin on his face as he said, “It’s tradition to get a picture with Santa.”
Tim less than fondly recalls his own picture with the infamous mall Santa, the old man smelling of cigarettes and too spicy cologne to mask it. All the bat-kids had taken a photo with the cheap Santa at some point or the other, Tim having been the oldest to do so at fifteen. Dick had taken his when he was ten, and Jason at eleven.
However, once he registers the actual words that had come out of Dick’s mouth, Tim feels something close to euphoria rise in his chest as he now understands it was the brat’s turn to sit on off-brand Santa’s lap and have his picture taken. Oh, would that be a sight to behold. Chaos to be sure. Most likely some screaming as well. A lot of protest and cursing. Maybe even some tears.
A sight to behold.
“I knew you guys wouldn’t stick together,” Dick explains, “So I figured I’d call you over here earlier. Then, I’ll call Damian once we’re close to the front and act like it’s an emergency so he’ll have no choice but to come quickly.”
Tim was impressed. “You know,” he says, eyeing Dick, “You’re a lot more evil than everyone thinks.”
“The term you’re looking for is evil mastermind, Timmy.”
“Uh huh,” Tim jokes, excitement building in his bones as he notices they’re only two spots away from what is destined to be the greatest moment of his life.
“Look! I see him!” Dick exclaims, pointing in the far distance.
Indeed, there was Damian in his green hoodie, half-jogging, half-walking as he headed towards the Christmas tree Dick had directed him to.
“We’re next,” Tim says anxiously, glancing at the teenager dressed as an elf, who was probably wondering why the two of them were standing in a line meant for children.
“It’s fine,” Dick reassures, his own thrill building. “He’ll be here.”
And, as if one cue, because malls are where miracles happen, Damian calls out, “Richard!”
Dick waves him over, compulsion in every movement of his arm. “Hurry, Dami!”
The teenager elf is now guiding them into the “Miracle Circle” and Dick yanks at the sleeve of Damian’s hoodie before he can even register what’s happening. Tim has to keep a hand over his mouth in order to stop himself from snickering at the bewildered look on the youngest’s face, eyes blown wide as he takes in the bright lights and tinsel.
“Richard,” he growl-whispers, “What is this?”
“Tradition,” Dick answers, tugging him closer to the overweight man sitting on the massive throne. “And it’s time you partake in it. I let you get away from it last year because I lost track of time, but not this year. This year, Dami, is where you finally experience,” he leans in closer, nearly whispering, “the joys of a mall Santa.”
“No,” Damian says, aghast as Dick pulls him closer and closer to the center. “No, I refuse. Unhand me this instant.”
He is powerless though against Dick’s firm grasp and excellent navigation skills. Everyone is watching. Everyone is staring.
“Hello there, little one,” mall Santa booms, arms out stretching as he reaches for Damian. “Come sit on Santa’s lap and tell me what you’d like for Christmas.”
“Richard,” Damian pleads, struggling as he eyes the suspicious fake beard, “If you do this, I will never forgive you.”
“I’m sorry, Dami,” Dick amends solemnly, a lie written all over his face. “I have to. It’s tradition.”
Faster than even Damian can react, Dick is sweeping him off his feet and plopping him onto the lap of a complete stranger.
“What’s your name?” mall Santa asks, Damian recoiling at the rank breath.
“Let me go,” he demands.
“Oh ho ho,” mall Santa chuckles, stomach jostling like a gross bowl of jelly. “We haven’t taken our picture yet!”
Mall Santa points a little off to the right, and it is with horror does Damian spot not only Richard, but Drake, Father, and Pennyworth aiming cameras at him.
Drake waves at him, shit-eating grin plastered shamelessly on his face. Richard is cooing through his phone, oo-ing and awe-ing at the scene. Father looks at least a little bit sympathetic, pity spelled out over his face as he watches his youngest son try to free himself from the mall Santa’s surprisingly strong grip. Pennyworth takes one picture, quickly putting away his phone.
Damian is sure that the one picture is enough to spell doom for the rest of his life.
“You know,” mall Santa whispers, nearly suffocating Damian in the vice-like hug he’s trapped in, “Most kids smile when they take pictures with Santa.”
“I am not inclined to smile for a pedophile,” Damian snarls back.
“Well,” mall Santa sighs, voice suddenly less cheery, “I guess that means you’re on the naughty list then, you little shit.”
Damian stills in his struggle, eyes widening as he turns to meet the green eyes of the man who holds him.
“Todd?” he hisses, humiliation rising as the man just chuckles, winking.
“Happy holidays, little boy,” Jason cheers, playing up the act. “If you’re good, Santa might-”
The next morning, the top headline from the Gotham Gazette reads,
Christmas Chaos: Youngest Wayne Punches Santa!
The article gets framed above the tree in their living room, and Damian waits for the day to exact his revenge. Soon. Soon.

truth or dare | Bang Chan & Felix
Summary: finding out your best friends are cam boy. Admitting it to them they ask you to join for a game of sexual truth or dare
word count: 5.7k || Genre: poly! camboy chan, camboy Felix, blowjob, fingering, teasing, smut, love, kissing,
a/n: Inspired by this anon ask here. This was a joy to write so I really hope you enjoy. IM SO WHIPPED FOR CHAN AND FELIX. (I should have edited it more but I’m soooo burnt out sorry)
Tumblr media
Going to university was hard the studying, struggling for money, and the lack of sleep.  At least you had a bright side to this money pit hell. Bang Chan and Lee Felix your two friends.
Pressing your face against your palm you let out a sigh looking at the long list of math equations you just couldn't get. "Y/n I know it's hard, but I believe in you," you heard Chan say sitting next to you.
Currently, you and Chan were sitting outside in a shaded area for studying. Well, you were studying while Chan was making paper planes next to you. Glancing at him in jealousy you wish you could slack at a time like this. With a sigh, you whined out "I just can't get this."
"You can do this," Chan insisted moving your study material over to look at it "only oh," he paused "50 more problems to review," he trailed off gazing at the material.
"You guys are looking down," a deep voice said sitting opposite of you. Rolling your eyes to see Felix across from you.
"Just math studying she's not getting," Chan said going back to his general paper airplane.
Felix gave a small hum in understanding as he watched the two of you carefully. "Chan, we are hanging out tonight right," Felix asked pursing up his lips.
"Oh yeah boys’ night," Chan grinned lifting his hand for Felix to high five him.
"Can I come over," you asked eager hearing that. Boys night was normally 2 times a week on a Friday. The night where Chan and Felix would hang out without you more like it. Even after knowing them for a year they always refuted you going to this 'boys’ night'.
"Well," Felix trailed off gazing at you. You smirked always asking Felix since he never could deny you. You could see his brown eyes flicker to you and the blond wanting to say something.
"Sorry Y/n it's a guy thing," Chan quickly made up for Felix awkward disposition.
"You always say that," you huffed looking at Chan. "I'm one of your closest friends I mean I'm not like you and Felix, but I think I matter," you gave a fake pout.
Chan gave a gentle smile "aw look she's pouting how adorable," he hummed. You felt your stomach twist with the word 'adorable'. "You do matter but no dice sorry," he shrugged grabbing his bookbag.
"See ya Y/n," Chan said wrapping his arm around your neck for a side hug. "Guys night starts soon," he gave a wink. "Maybe one day you can join," he added.
"Yeah someday," Felix trailed off looking between you two. Felix gave you a small wave with a sheep smile "sorry Y/n guys night," he grinned giving you a small fist bump as they walked away together.
Without words, they were gone. Damn those boys you thought to yourself.
It's been hours since you've seen both of them and it was relatively frustrating. You would like to go to Chan's place for a night in. Being a college student, you were stuck in the dorm while Chan was privileged enough to have his own apartment a little way from the campus to go to.
Placing your bowl of old Chinese next to your side laptop you stretched your neck. Your roommate was always at her boyfriend’s, so it was just you at this point.
Opening your laptop, you just wanted to relax a little before you go to sleep. Looking at your phone your last text from Felix was a random meme he sent you. Smiling you quickly sent a reply to him.
The internet was dull, social media was boring and the loneliness of the night was getting to you. You were frustrated about school and your friends. Why couldn't you just come over? you thought trying figure out why didn't they want you to come.
Was it you? Did they want time away from you? Were they doing something illegal? you thought to yourself.
Without thinking you decided to play some games to get your mind off of them. They would be upfront with you if it was something about you.
Typing in an online game you sighed ready to melt away on a video game for the night. Playing the game, it got your mind off of Chan and Felix for a while. The mindlessness making you relaxed.
Pushing your headset away you saw the video game gave you a cam site pop up on the game. "what the," you hummed looking at the site.
It was bright and flashy site and it was called "Cams4you" quirking an eyebrow you looked at the site it was tasteful you must say. The layout kind of like YouTube but with streaming content. It wasn't all sexual some was asmr, talking, mukbangs.
The site was interesting your finger on your mouse looking at some of the safer cams. The asmr range was nice. Next to the live stream was a large red how many people were watching and then had a money jar where you could donate to the creator.
A large "want to see all the content sign up now," it read. Rolling your eyes, you wanted to click off but for some reason, you didn't. With a throwaway email account, you signed up for an account thankfully no credit card number required.
To your surprise, there was more content on the page. It was organized nicely with genres like cosplay, female, male all that gaze. A small smile slipped on your mouth as you clicked onto the male.
Browsing through the male streams you stopped to see an empty room in one. Wait that room looked familiar you thought to yourself. Clicking the link your finger slipped off the mousepad to see Felix in the background of the Cam.
Your Felix on a cam site. Staring at the screen clicked it watching in awe as he plopped himself down on the computer chair. He looked different the camcorder giving him a clear yet grainy vibe. His colored hair swept nicely across his forehead.
Your mind raced at reality. Lee Felix your friend was on a cam site. Then your mind processed he was at Chan's house. So that means Chan is in on this too.
Turning up the volume you heard Felix start to talk it looked like he was reading comments at this point. "Am I good," his deep voice was so different it was husky and smooth. He gave the camera a grin "I'm fine I'll probably go to sleep soon," he said nodding cutely.
Looking over at the door he gave a low whine "where is Chan at," he said. Looking down at this phone.
"I'm sorry guys no sexual stuff for me tonight I'm kind of out of it," he said looking at the camera. Your eyes went to the comments as they gave him hearts of 'it’s okay we still love you' kind of comments.
Chan came in a second later his shirt already off and it made you go completely still at seeing your friend’s bare chest. His broad shoulders gave him a large look as he sat down in the chair next to Felix.
"Did our baby girls miss me," Chan said leaning forward to look at the chan. You even noticed he had blue eye contacts in making him look positively handsome.
"Mmh a little but they still love me more," Felix flirted with the views giving them a small wink.
From there they just talked really until Felix excused himself to go to sleep in the living room. "Don't leave Felix you can sleep in my bed," Chan playfully yelled at his friend.
"No thanks I need sleep and not hearing you jerking off," Felix yelled back as he left.
It was weird seeing your friends so flirty to each other and the camera. They were naturals you thought. With another right click, you went to their channel checking it out. It was called Aussie Boys with a selfie of Felix and Chan as the icon. Most of the videos were available they did have pay to watch ones but mostly those were special event ones that were locked. Your eyes widen looking at the number of average views they get. It was a baseline 1,000 plus.
On your headset, you could hear Chan whimper for a second. The sound made your spine tingle. Looking at the video again you bit your lip watching Chan as he slowly peeled off his baggy pants.
Without question, you closed the laptop. This was too much you just learned they own a cam channel and watching Chan get off. Somewhere in your morals you just couldn't watch Chan get off.
An inner debate went off inside your mind and your stomach twist, you couldn't keep away from watching.
Opening your laptop, you refreshed the screen to see Chan lightly teasing his head. It was bright red and looked so aching. Your fingers tingled wanting to touch it.
"Ah fuck," his thick accent cussed out. Donations came flooding in as he jerked himself off. Leaning in the chair he looked eternal his blond hair so light his hand jerking himself off. You bite your lip wanting him.
You were fucked you thought to yourself.
After finding out Felix and Chan did a cam show you tried not to act differently toward them, but you saw them all. You've seen them bare, jerking off, kissing, laughing, moaning and it couldn't leave your mind.
You watched all the backlog of them on stream. They were funny and handsome had lots of donations and incredibly popular. Some streams were a teasing stream, some were mukbangs some just playing video games. People watched it because it was Bang Chan the handsome blond older Australian and his friend Felix the shy cute younger Australian.
You also noted about them they kept bringing up a third person in their stream. It struck you as weird. Slightly jealously filled you realizing they claimed she was a streamer and they knew her and wanted her to join them for a game.
In reality, you can't be jealous because they don't know you are aware of their activities. It was coming to a point you felt like you needed to tell them.
Sitting at a quiet coffee shop you sighed looking at the coffee you didn't know how to say it to them. They called you here because they wanted to have a talk.
"Hey y/n," you heard Chan say slipping into the chair on your side. He still looked amazing his blond hair swept nicely his smile bright as could be.
Felix gave you a small hey as he sat across from you. His disposition was still awkward you could tell. You gave them a warm smile back "hey guys," replied.
"I love this place," Felix hummed enjoying the privacy of the cafe.
You chatted lightly with them enjoying the moment with them. Forgetting about the whole cam thing until Chan had to bring it up.
"So, Y/n we brought you here today," Chan paused his brown eyes flickered from you to his hands. His thick hands twiddling their thumb.
"Chan, I don't think," Felix started. The dynamic was there Chan was the "leader" of this whole thing while Felix was more tentative.
"Your cam boys aren't you," you finally told them. Felix's eyes widen at your words his face slightly burned red at your words. “That’s what you wanted to tell me,” you said.
Chan smirked "And how did you find out about that," he raised an eyebrow at you. "Was our Y/n pleasuring herself to our stream," he teased.
You felt your face go red "you wish I had the cam program pop up and I clicked on it, you guys leave me every other Friday night I was bored," you declared. "I found your page and watched your streams," you said.
The tension slowly grew at your comment. You see there everything watched them do everything together. Felix choked on his drink lightly "so you saw," he blushed shyly looking at Chan.
"I did," you affirmed you saw it all of Felix his chest, his body his moans.
Chan leaned back on the chair "okay well that makes this easier now right Felix," Chan smirked looking at you and him.
"Sure," he hummed his deep voice doing things to you.
"Y/n please join us for a stream," Chan asked. Your eyes widen at the words you felt a little outer body at his words.
"Me," you asked looking between them. "So, in your new streams you were asking about me joining," you said shocked.
"So, you've been watching," Chan teased at your words.
In your mind, they were basically asking you to have sex on stream with them. "Do you want this Chan," you asked him. He gave a nod his eyes glazed with excitement. "And you Felix," you asked the other male.
Biting his lip, he gave a small "yeah," back at you.
This was odd in a good way you thought looking down at the clothing you were wearing. Chan told you to wear whatever you want. But he recommended something airy and cute for the stream. So, you decided to wear a black skirt for easy to remove and a tucked in shirt.
You marveled at the set up they had. The lights were bright giving them a good look to it, the camera was at least a 100 plus dollar one with a two-monitor set up. The camera was dead center in the room as it was angled to show you guys in the large gaming chairs and the bed nicely.
Chan was setting up the stream next to you while Felix was sitting next to you in his chair. You were sandwiched between the two of your friends.  Felix small hand played with your hand trying to comfort you.
The camera went with a red light signaling it was on. The monitor that mirrors what people were seeing showed it was showing you and Felix and Chan at the computer. "Hey guys," he hummed looking at the chat. People started to join at a rapid amount which made you assume they had alerts of the stream.
"Hello everyone," Felix deep voice hummed waving at the camera.
"Who’s the new person," Chan read the comment slowly a small smile lifted on his lips "she is our friend we were talking about," he hummed "and she's a little shy about being on camera so give her lots of encouragement," Chan spoke.
The chat did just that with lots of "hellos" and calling you "pretty". "Hey," you said waving at the chat a little stiff in front of the camera. Your heart was thudding against your ribcage eagerly with anticipation. You would be lying if you never thought about Felix or Chan in a sexual manner. They both were incredibly handsome, friendly and anyone you would love to be with them.
You all talked it out before even daring this. Chan explained and reassured you he wouldn't force you to do anything you didn't want to. Making sure you were comfortable with this new three-way relationship to move into a more sexual manner.
Felix grabbed your hand a little firmer. Gazing up at the younger male his eyes held so much eagerness in this. Before you knew it, you felt Felix capture your lips. It was a surprise, but you mellowed into the kiss.
"Felix is a little eager one," Chan hummed shifting in his seat. "I know our guest is pretty but wait for the game," Chan teased.
Breaking the kiss, you looked at Felix in shock at the kiss. It was soft and eager and everything you imagined it could be.
"Okay so today we are going to play Sexy Truth or Dare," he hummed at the camera. The comments spammed as he told them today's stream.
"Here are the cards," Chan said bringing up the cards they were black with a sexy kiss mark on them. "Are you guys ready," Chan smirked.
"Of course," you said feeling your stomach fill with excitement to finally get this started.
"And these cards are mostly truth a slight dare nothing too major yet we're saving that for later," Chan gave the camera a wink. It was shocking how good he was to the camera. His winks and looks made people pour money at him for just being him.
Your eyes widen in the list you saw a recent tip was 100 dollars from a random user they commented: "I can't wait for this". A shiver went down your spine realizing that people were actually watching you guys.
Felix glanced at you his cheeks a little red his freckles showing under the lights. While his hair held a shine to it. Your mind whirled being in-between those your good-looking friends. One who already kissed you.
Chan raised the card to Felix letting the other male take one.
Felix's eyes flickered looking between the two of you. Clearing his throat, he spoke the question "Would you rather spank someone or be spanked?" He read out. Looking at you guys and at the camera, he gave the views a smile. "Personally, I would rather be spanked," Felix said embarrassment laced his voice.
Chan gave a small giggle "Let me guess you couldn't go through with it," he poked fun at Felix.
"Felix wouldn't hurt a fly Chan," you hummed back grabbing Felix soft hand into yours. "He's our soft boy," you praised him.
Felix let out a little chuckle "I can show you how hard I can be," he raised an eyebrow at you. The subtle flirting making your body feel all fluttery inside.
Chan spoke up "Y/n take your card," lifting you the deck. Chan had this aura that made you feel so comfortable.
Taking the card, you realized it was a dare card. The dare was already pretty lewd you thought. "Blindfold yourself and try and guess who’s kissing you," you quirked an eyebrow. How situational is that?
"Did you," you started wanting to call him out for setting you with such a direct card so early.
"And look what we have here," Chan said looking at the camera picking up the blindfold for you. "Let's see if our good friend can tell us apart," Chan teased.
"Can I," he asked holding the black silk blindfold. Breathing in you gave a small nod in consent as he went over to tie it around your eyes.
"And just so she won't know me, and Chan will be on the same side so she can't tell," Felix added. You heard them both get up walking around to one side. You guessed on purpose to mix you up.
You felt a hand reach for your chin the person guiding your lips to theirs. Your mind raced as you met the person's lips. The excitement of not knowing you who were kissing made your mind whirl. Placing your lips to the person you imagined Chan or Felix kissing you making your body buzz with want. The first press of the lips was gentle testing the water kiss. Slowly as that came it was a harder kiss on your lips.
You felt a small peak of their tongue egging you to open your mouth. With ease, you did let them slip into your mouth. The kiss was hot and warm making you want more. But before you could really get into the kiss they pulled away.
Who was it? You felt like it was Chan. Felix wouldn't be so bold so early you thought. He did kiss you a second ago so maybe he was so bold.
Before you knew it, you felt a hand lifted to your chin so your lips met there's. You were stirring for more contact wanting more affection. The kiss was soft and tentative with a force you never felt before like the underline emotion was just pure want and need. Either Bang Chan or Felix didn't try for much tongue all they did was lightly lick your bottom lip in want. You felt yourself sticking your mouth out ready to open kiss him. He pulled away before you could really get into it.
The person sighed and got up as they placed themselves back into their chairs. "Y/n you can take off the blindfold," you heard Chan say. You felt on the other side must have been Felix helped you.
The light made you blink a little hard. "So, y/n who kissed you," Chan grinned.
A firm line formed on your lips as you decided. "I think the first one is," you paused he was more assertive so it must be Chan. "it was you Chan," you declared.
Chan gave a shocked expression for a second "wow that's talent," he praised.
Shifting a laugh, you nodded "Felix is a little more tentative overall," you added looking at the other handsome male.
Chan gave a flirty smile "kissing Y/n was nice right Felix," Chan asked the other boy. "I mean you did get to kiss her before me and all," he hummed.
Felix gave a small nod in understanding "her lips felt amazing," Felix said his eyes slightly looking up to remember the kiss. Being praised stirring up a good feeling in your body.
"Chan pick your card," you said reaching for the deck. Felix was busy thanking all the donors on the screen reading out the comments. One stuck in your mind "that Y/n looked perfect between the boys". The praise was almost endless, but did you look amazing between these two amazingly handsome males. Did you fit into this dynamic?
"Got a dare card," he smoothly said looking at the words. Reading it slowly he spoke "Whisper in the persons next to your ear something you've always wanted to see me do in bed," he said with a smooth accent.
"Sorry views this is for our Y/n ears only," Chan gave the camera a wink as he leaned down to your ear. His warm breath hitting your ear. "Y/n I want to see you whimper my name begging for my cock wanting it so bad yet not getting it," his smooth Aussie accent told you.
Immediately you shifted in your seat with want. "Bang Chan," you lightly gasped out covering your mouth.
Giving you a wink, he went back to the views. "Before the next round, I'll read out some comments,"
"Felix you look adorable today," Chan read the comment out. "He looks adorable all the time, to be honest, we're just lucky we get to see it."
Reading the comments, you got an understanding of the cam feel. It felt like a YouTube vide kind of. The comments were nice, donations were flooding in. You totally forgot at least 500 people were watching you kiss your best friends.
"Felix take a card," you hummed reaching for the deck and passing it to him. Giving you a firm smile he took a card.
Giving everyone an embarrassing smile "I watched hentai and I have no shame," he declared putting the card down. Your eyes widen at the confession admiring how confident he was in his answer.
Trading the cards to you, you picked one up and read it aloud. "Touch yourself for 60 seconds," you read out.
You stiffen your back at the comment. "Um is it okay if I sit on the bed," you asked.
"Anything that makes you comfortable," Felix said. Putting the card down you sat at the edge of the bed. The comments went wild with the realization sexual stuff will happen.
You looked at both of them in awkwardness as you lifted the skirt revealing your lace panties to them and the screen. Looking at yourself through the monitor you looked lewd. At that moment the whole room shifted with sexual tension.
You calmed yourself as you slowly brought your hand go down to pleasure yourself. You teased your slit drawing the wetness near. The exoticness of your two friends watching made you more aroused.
Touching yourself you were delicate and needy the tension slowly grew as you played with your clothed slit. Peeking out to see Chan with a pleased grin and Felix with a needy wanting look.
"Forget about these fucking cards," you heard Chan say in an aggressive manner as he put them down to go to the bed.
"Felix can you help out beautiful girl here," Chan hummed sitting on the bed pulling your back against his chest smoothly.
Felix did as he was instructed. Even in this situation, Chan was more of the dominant right now and you both fended to him. "Felix please," you begged spreading your legs open for him to touch you.
"We don't want her to come so early so just tease her," Chan hummed out the order. Leaning his mouth toward your neck he laid a few kisses on your neck as his hands went to your waist. His large hands met your waist as he roamed your body.
"Just relax," Chan whispered in your ear as his hands went further up to meet right below your bra. "I'm right here baby girl," his deep voice so naturally seductive making you buzz with want.
Felix slowly fingered you his gentle touch made you whimper for more. Looking down at the male he looked so focused on your slit. His fingers lightly petting you slowly only slightly entering to feel your velvety wetness. "She's so damp," Felix deep voice hummed. Spreading your fold to show the camera you off.
Chan hard manhood stood firm against your back as his hands groped your breast. He felt the fabric over them as he ran his smooth palm over them. Lifting the shirt up enough to show the stream. "I picked out her set for her," he mentioned proudly, of the black lace he bought you.
The stimulation with being in between two hot and bothered males made your body heat up. Chans fingers found your bra snapping it off in a cool manner. Letting your breast be free for him to play with.
"As much as I like it on you, I like it off a lot better," Chan uttered. His palm enveloped your breast as he played with them. "So warm in my palm," his dirty talk making you wet.
"She's so warm Chan," Felix spoke up finally as he teased you. Licking his lips, you knew he wanted to dive in and enjoy himself.
Chan one hand played with your nipple. Taking the small bud and playing with it "Oh I would love to see them filled with milk one day," he leaned down to whisper. The insinuation of breeding you made your spine chill with want.
"Ah," you let a mew at the feeling of him pinching and rubbing your nipple paired with Felix now inserting his finger into you this was too much. The familiar feeling of excitement pooled in your lower belly wanting to come soon.
"Mmh look at the chat praising you," Chan accent came out thicker at the moment. His fingers teased your nipples his one hand traveling down to your slit as he slowly found your clit as he played with it.
"Don't come, baby," he hummed in your ear. His hardness lightly rocking against your back. Both of their hands playing with you.
"You're close aren't you," Chan groaned in your ear. With a shaky head, you nodded feeling the coming orgasm fill your stomach.
"Felix stop touching," He demanded you turned your head to see Chan had a large smirk on his face. "Mmh clean his fingers for him won't you," Chan teased out.
The loss of contact made your body slightly settle. You gazed at Felix a gentle grin on his face "open," he ordered lightly.
Without words, you opened your mouth accepting his fingers tasting yourself. The visual of seeing Felix stand before you as you swirled your tongue on his fingers made you want them more. Cleaning his fingers, you probably looked so desperate at this point.
"Look what you've done to poor Felix," Chan pointed out the outline of a line of his dick showing in Felix's sweatpants. "Got him all riled up," he pointed out once again.
"Get on your fours baby girl," Chan told you a light pinch on your butt making you shift. Following his orders, you did what he asked. You wondered if Chan was naturally like this or was this a show for the cameras. Something inside you guessed this isn't an act.
"Now give Felix some pleasure he deserves it," Chan hummed watching from behind you as you grabbed Felix sweatpants pulling them down slightly revealing his briefs. He was already hard against them making an outline.
You ran your fingertips over his clothed dick lightly teasing the member. "Fuck Y/n," he gave deep moan at the lightest touch.
Feeling behind you Chan grabbed your hips tapping your ass lightly. "Her ass is amazing," Chan praised. He grabbed at it in a harsh manner feeling it.
"I want to feel it," Felix groaned as you kept your light touches up.
"One day you can have it," Chan teased out at Felix. "Today it’s all mine," he added.
Chan fingers lightly played with slit pulling the underwear down slightly. "So many donations I think people like the show," he hummed at the camera. The monitor gave you a perfect view of Chan behind you.
Pulling off Felix’s briefs to reveal his dick. "Suck it please," Felix whined out practically begging you. Grabbing it you lightly jerked him off. The feeling of Chan behind you made you moan as he slowly entered you.
You panted with want but wanted to please Felix as well. Wrapping your mouth on his dick you felt Chan lightly thrust in you making sure you could take him.
"Suck him off good Y/n," Chan egged you on. You moaned feeling Chan starting to slowly thrust into you. Your stomach stirring at the feeling of being fucked. Felix in front of you letting deep moans lace the air. You adored the sound of the younger male deep voice.
Chans hands were wrapped around your waist as he steadied you as he gave a gentle pace inside you. "Seeing you suck off Felix is so hot," he admitted a breathy groan laced his sentence.
Your gag reflex was lightly getting in the way, so you lightly backed off. Felix's hands met your head as he thrust into your open mouth his hips rocking in your mouth. The more he did that the more you gagged on him.
"Oh, fucking hell you clench around me every time you gag," Chan cursed "It feels amazing," he rocked into you harder.
The scene was lewd as it could be. You are blowing off your friend while your other friend took you from behind.
The warmth in your body was flaring up you felt your stomach tighten your skin so warm from the teasing. Wanting to help Felix before you came you focuses on the person in front of you.
You hollowed around him sucking him lightly. Your tongue peeking out giving kitten licks to his mushroomed head.
"She's so good," Felix gave a deep moan as he rocked his hips in your mouth. Pressing his fingers in your hair he lightly pushed you deeper as he balls tightened as he came in your mouth, you gagged lightly feeling the ropes of come touch the back of your throat.
"Fuck the clenching," Chan moaned from behind you. Felix unlaced his fingers from your hair his hand grabbing your chin letting the cum lightly drip out of your mouth.
"What a good girl we have here," Felix said a slight smirk on his face as his thumb touched the cum coming out. Catching it on his thumb he moved it to your mouth making you open your mouth to accept the fallen cum. "All of it my girl," his dark eyes held so much love and lust as you stared up at him accepting his finger cleaning it. The shift from cute too so sexual made you whine with want.
Chan wasn't done with you as his thrust became sloppier signaling, he was about to come. Your arms tired from holding yourself up you laid your head on the bed letting Chan fuck you into the bed.
You eyed Felix as he went back to the stream a lazy smile across his face. It made your heart flutter knowing you did that for him. You pleasured him into that handsome smile of his.
"You feel so good baby girl," Chan moaned as his hips were starting to stutter into you he was so close and so deep inside you.
Finally, after all the teasing, you could finally let go. You let the pleasure envelope you as he drove into you. The feeling of the tension washing over you signaled you came; a flow of moans left your mouth as you let go. The pleasure washed over you in an amazing way.
Chan soon chased his orgasm his Australian accent came out thick as he praised you.
Felix said some words you couldn't care less about to the stream thanking all the watchers and donors you think. Saying he loved the feedback and this experience as he shut off the stream and the bright studio lights in the room. Chan grabbed you pushing you on the bed.
You looked up at the male wide-eyed to see a lazy smile on his lips. "You're a natural," he praised you deciding to lay next to you.
"Yah why do you get to cuddle Y/n," Felix playfully pouted at the scene before him.
"Um because she likes me the best," Chan rolled his eyes covering you with his arm.
"I want your cuddles Felix," you whined reaching out for the other male. He accepted your arms and laid in them. Sighing with content you felt Felix shift on the bed.
"We really did that," Felix hummed laying in the packed bed.
"We sure did now go to sleep before I kick you out the bed," Chan laughed out lightly. You didn't know what morning had for you. At least you had your two best friends next to you.

❱❭ sgn task #01 ; “kiss me thru the phone"
a peak into kwon taeho’s phone;
✦ what kind of cell phone do you have? iphone 11 pro, midnight green
✦ how often do you use your cell phone? no more and no less than the average person my age. honestly depends on how much i’m not paying attention in class or other involuntary functions
✦ what is your phone’s lock screen photo? (see above)
✦ what is your phone’s home screen photo? (see above); just trying to catch some summer vibes, ya feel?
✦ how many contacts do you have in your phone? around 400? only cause i don’t bother to clear things out. i can’t remember who half of them are, and i definitely won’t be hitting them up anytime in this lifetime
✦ do you customize contact names or enter as given names? mostly given names; unless we’re close (or you’re a memorable character), in which case you’ll get a spirit emoji or something tacked onto the end. i’m not slick with nicknames, so unless you set one for yourself, i’d rather not try
✦ what is their default ringtone? whatever the factory setting is
✦ do you have personalized ringtones for your contacts or does everyone use the default ringtone? everyone on default; too much of a hassle otherwise, and i don’t take enough calls or have my volume up for it to matter anyways
✦ how many alarms do you have set and why? i only have one actively set for the morning but have way too many saved, for nearly every time of day. i’m a weirdo who’d rather spend 30 seconds scrolling through my endless list of alarms instead of just setting a new one for the time i need. also times always set on odd numbers (xx:01, xx:09, xx:13, etc.) and never on nice times that end in xx:00, xx:15, x:30, etc. because i hate even or clean-cut numbers
✦ what are your top 3 most used apps? imessage (+ other messaging apps), instagram, spotify
✦ what are your favorite apps? reddit is my guilty pleasure and safe space. twitter is fun even though i personally don’t tweet much (or else i’d spend all day fighting people on there, and i get enough of that in real life). also spotify because i’m almost always listening to something and can’t stand being idle in silence
✦ what are your last 3 google searches or the last 3 things you’ve asked your built in ai? ⮕ "memento movie ending interpretations” ⮕ "do you get notifications if someone screenshots your instagram story” ⮕ "can i feed my cat grapes”
✦ do you delete your internet search history or use incognito mode? if so, how often, and why? i’ll use incognito; not because i feel the need to hide anything, but because i don’t want too many one-time searches polluting my ‘recommended’ results later on. that shit’s the worst
✦ do you download music or use a streaming app? if so, which one and why? self-proclaimed spotify supremacist here. they have a comprehensive stock of both korean and non-korean stuff, which is a must. plus it’s so much easier to curate playlists, jump around, and discover new music without me having to fully commit to buying and downloading something (...does this say something more about me as a person?)
✦ what are the last 3 songs you’ve listen to on your phone? ♫ ‘error’ by ash island ft. loopy ♫ ‘all day (band ver.)’ by giriboy ♫ ‘please love me’ by colde (yeah, i’m a sucker for k-hiphop/rnb)
✦ what does your photo album consist of? it’s a pretty scary and eclectic place in there. to start, i take a lot of screenshots: receipts of when my friends say stupid things, school stuff, cocktail recipes, the outright ridiculous shit my dad’s various news outlets will put out (which i subsequently flame him for whenever we actually have to talk). so. many. cat. pics — but they’re fucking cute, alright? some random fit pics and fashion inspo. to be completely frank, there are more selfies than i’d like to admit and some... highly cringe gym pics. but none of that is being sent for anyone else’s eyes, so it’s chill. totally chill... and of course, i have a lot of stuff for photography club in the cloud.
✦ what is your texting style? do you reply quickly or are you a slow texter? do you send several messages at a time or paragraphs? i’m not the type to be texting a million people at once, so if we’re talking, i’ll probably reply pretty promptly. sometimes i’ll drop off the face of the earth, but try not to take it too personally. i definitely tend to spam send multiple, shorter messages as opposed to a single longer one. chaotic thoughts, grammar, and structure alike
✦ what are the last 3 texts you’ve sent? ⮕ vince: "is this dry needling thing supposed to be hurting still? it’s been a whole ass week...” ⮕ junhyung: "stop texting me” ⮕ hyunjoo: "hey, do you know when my mom is getting back home?”
✦ who do you text the most? couldn’t really tell you for sure. i’m not the type of person who needs to live update their life over text to somebody, and i’m not particularly invested in every little thing someone else is doing either, no offense. among my guy friends, we can maintain friendships without a whole lot of constant talking. so if i’m texting someone in high volume and frequency, it’s probably because we’re arguing over something (i’m sure you aren’t even surprised by now). or, it could be a girl i’m interested in and that’s like... not so common either.
✦ what are your top 6 used emojis? 😤 🙃 🥴 👀 🤷‍♂️ 😈
✦ how often do you call others? i hate phone calls. they’re clunky af, and you always have to awkwardly go “i-- oh-- no you go ahead” because you’re always interrupting each other. quite often people call me and i purposely watch it go to voicemail and text them back some time after, because i don’t want to pick up. so really, i only call when it’s really necessary. i think facetime is better and cool for casual though, so i’ll do that with friends instead.
✦ who were the last 3 calls made to and why? assuming you mean traditional phone calls... ⮕ dad (well more like my dad’s assistant) — to tell him to gtfo of my school life and stop signing on to throw money at (or ‘sponsor’) things without telling me. i can already tell he’s gearing up to pitch me the ‘you should take over the company’ case again when i get home for break ⮕ older sister — just to make sure she’s alive or well or whatever. total nuisance ⮕ campus police — i just had to... test a little something about their alarm infrastructure. please don’t ask any more
✦ who do you call the most? again, i don’t like calling people — few things in life are that urgent. but my mom, i guess. she calls me a lot when she’s not shooting for something, but i think it’s just to make herself feel like she’s doing the most as a mother
✦ do you have someone blocked? if so, who and why? no. i’m not petty or proactive enough to do something like that, even to the most annoying of people... now that i think about it, i should probably block an ex or two, just so drunk me won’t even get the chance to do anything stupid. but it’s not like i’ve ever done anything like that before, so whatever.
✦ are you apart of any group chats? with whom? just what you’d expect: swim team, photography club, people in my major, friends i’ll go out with on weekends, and so forth. albeit i’m that guy who shamelessly has the group on mute, so you’re probably going to have to aggressively @ me if you want me. then there’s the family group chat, which is mostly my parents getting on my case and making sure i have family obligations marked on my calendar while my sister sits back and laughs at my pain.
✦ do you use the notes app? yep... i have a lot of thoughts, okay?

The Last Laugh
“When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping!”
Tumblr media
Hey, guys. This is Collin. I know that we’re only four episodes into this blog now, and things are just starting to roll…but unfortunately, I’ve decided that the stress of college and work is too much, so I’m going to have to go on an indefinite hiatus…
April fools!
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT
Villain: The Joker Robin: No Writer: Carl Swenson Director: Kevin Altieri Animator: Akom Airdate: September 22, 1992 Episode Grade: B
The Joker’s back on the show already, and again, he has formulated an overly-complicated plot which seems to be designed specifically to lead Batman directly to him. We start by seeing a boat full of repulsively green trash chugging through the Gotham river. It’s emitting an absolutely foul stench, and while we aren’t sure if this is a typical occurrence, knowing this city, I wouldn’t doubt it one bit. Char, my girlfriend and watching-buddy got the impression that Gotham is indeed an old, dark, gothic city, but this was her first exposure to the griminess that is often associated with it. This time, however, the griminess seems to be a little bit more pleasant; in fact every citizen who notices it seems to burst out laughing! The garbage is emitting a powerful laughing gas that doesn’t just cause a rush of giggles, but it also seems to send its victims completely out of control, and they start ignoring all of their surroundings altogether. It’s like they’re not even aware of their laughter, as the fumes get them as high as a kite.
Meanwhile, still in Gotham, but away from the city, we cut to a really great shot of Wayne Manor. Inside, Bruce is sprucing himself up, and we discover that it is April Fools’ Day thanks to Alfred once again being the lovable savage that he seems to be. Offering to “draw” Bruce a bath, he quite literally draws him a picture of a bath, hoping to at least get a smile out of him. But alas, when he’s not reaching for his rich playboy persona, we see that Bruce is actually quite the stick in the mud. I love Kevin Conroy’s way of creating two voices for the character, something that had never really been done before this show. I actually believe this was Kevin’s idea, which is no surprise given his acting background. He somehow does it in a way that makes the Bruce Wayne persona seem even more fake, despite that voice being closer to Kevin’s actual voice.
Bruce Wayne dedicating himself to living a lie like that must truly be tough. Think about how that must hamper his relationships, and it starts to explain the social state that he finds himself in later down the DCAU timeline. I’m someone who is an introvert, and sometimes the amount of energy required to socialize is more than I would like to admit. But if I had to pretend to be someone I’m not every day when my true self is as dark as Batman’s character (and let’s be real, Batman is our main character, Bruce Wayne only exists as a name on his legal documents), it would be a lot worse. The seeds were planted this early, and it shows the thought, consistency, and understanding that Radomski, Timm, and co had for the character right away. This wasn’t your average Saturday morning version of Batman.
Obviously as more and more people throughout the city begin to become affected by the laughing gas, it does not go unnoticed by news outlets. Bruce immediately comes to the same conclusion as many of us watching; The Joker. It’s merely a matter of finding him and figuring out what he is up to. Meanwhile back in the city, we find out just that; The Joker and two of his goons are using the gas-induced obliviousness of the citizens on the street to rob them right under their noses. Even police officers are in tears, not paying the least bit of attention. The Joker, of course, is cracking comments and laughing his ass off the whole time. Some of his lines are legitimately hilarious in this episode, I’ve gotta say! While he was entertaining as all hell in Christmas With The Joker, it was more in a simple whacky, over-the-top, cartoon way. He still has some of that aspect here, but a lot more of it comes from genuinely clever writing. Some of his most well known lines from the show come from this episode. “So we’ll just punch some air holes!” and “YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!” to name a couple, the latter being downright legendary.
So far, this episode gives the simple vibe of a fun Joker romp without much meat on its bones, and much of it is. But the stakes do raise as we cut back to the Batcave. Batman is analyzing some of the gas, and learning that it causes “permanent insanity”. We’ll come back to this a little bit later, but obviously he has to do something. Not just because of the robberies and accidents happening, but also just because of the mental health factor. Insanity? Not particularly good for you. All of a sudden, however, we hear a crash come from upstairs when he attempts to call Alfred down into the cave. He runs upstairs, and here we see Alfred, smashing artifacts and furniture with a broom as we hear him belt out cackles unlike anything we have heard from him. The gas is inside the house. Batman immediately dons a gas mask and heads out to stop it, presumably taking care of Alfred first. Alfred, and Wayne Manor in general, being the thing in danger isn’t an element the show does a lot, and I think the moderation allows it to stand out a lot more. It can immediately turn a silly episode like this into something much more serious. Char was gasping and worrying the entire time, not wanting Alfred to be hurt. I think she’s growing to really like him. This is helped by the fact that Alfred was recast for this episode, and his new actor, Afrem Zimbalist Jr (unfortunately no longer with us) would remain for the entire rest of the DCAU. Both of us like this change a lot. I think this new voice helps with Alfred’s miniature character evolution, as it just suits this personality more. The first voice (Clive Revill) wasn’t bad by any means. Paired with the version of Alfred that’s a bit more stereotypical “5-star restaurant waiter”, it felt pretty natural. But Afrem…he brings the character to life like no one else can. There’s no way I can picture Clive laughing maniacally the way that Alfred did here. Also…and maybe it’s just me…but even though for the first three episodes Alfred was voiced by a man who was actually English, it sounded more like a fake accent than Afrem’s! And maybe this is because I’m an ignorant American who doesn’t hear English accents every day, nor am I aware of all the regional variations. I don’t know. But virtually everyone who talks about this new portrayal absolutely loves it, so I’m likely not alone with this aspect either.
Back in the river, we see that the garbage boat is fake. Below the water, what looks like the top of a boat is being carried by a submarine. Looking through the periscope of the sub, the Joker catches sight of Batman’s eyes, staring back at him through the lens. Then, BAM. Batman smacks it, causing the entire thing to rattle, and sending the Joker to the floor. Boy are we getting some great drawings in this episode. Batman’s face through the lens looks amazing! We also had some fun, yet purposely ugly shots of people laughing on the streets earlier, and then the Joker getting knocked away from the periscope is gold. After this, we see that Batman is towing around the “boat” with his own Batboat (its first appearance), which pisses the Joker off. So we get a fight scene between the goons and Batman, which is one of the better action scenes we’ve gotten up to this point. Is it still a little bit stilted? Yes, most definitely. But is it Spider-Man the Animated Series level? Not a chance. I did get some excitement here, and the big hunk of metal known in this episode (and throughout the Internet) as Captain Clown is a robot, so we got a little bit of extra fun here. The Fox censors were not as sensitive if the beating was not being done to an actual human being (even if it’s hard to tell whether or not it's human just by looking), and we got to see Batman throw an actual hard punch. The fight against the other two gives me the impression of martial arts and self defense, which also makes sense given Batman’s background (which will be covered later). The scene ends, however, with Batman being locked in a container and thrown into the water, with the container leaking in through the many holes that the Joker stabs into it with a knife. Seeing the Joker whip out a knife like that and puncture it with Batman inside is really jarring given that this is episode four, and we hadn’t really seen that kind of near-violence prior. Yeah, Batman dodged the stabs, but if one of those had hit, he’d be done. Another glimpse into the dangerous psychopath aspect of a character you don’t always expect to fear. To be clear, this was jarring in a good way.
Situations like this are hard to write for, because you have to be able to come up with a solution that isn’t anticlimactic or complete bullshit. Here Batman calls his Batboat with his utility belt and has it slice the container up with its laser gun blast. It was thinking outside the box a little bit (no pun intended), and having the laser miss during the first shot was a good touch. Granted, I also don’t recall this laser getting much use later down the line (you would think a powerful tool like this would be heavily utilized, hinting at it being added just because of this predicament, but then again, welcome to the world of Batman’s gadgets), so overall I don’t think it was perfect. Pretty cool, though, and I’m not gonna complain. I wasn’t expecting it, and I did find it exciting. Also, 12 words: Batman’s anger once he manages to swim back up to the surface.
To speed things up a little bit, Batman gets to the service, finds where the Joker has gone, defeats the thugs by exposing them to their own laughing gas, and even manages to decimate Captain Clown in a trash compactor. After this, the rest of the episode is pretty much just a chase sequence, and it almost reminds me of a video game. Batman is basically going through an obstacle course. We get a couple more really great shots here, one of the Joker creepily riding a conveyor belt through the shadows, and one of Batman sliding down the garbage shoot. I’m surprised this was animated by Akom, as I specifically remember their animation being generally C-tier when I watched the entirety of Animaniacs (with TMS obviously being the best). Perhaps it was all in the storyboards. The more detailed they are, obviously Akom has more to go by with less room to mess things up. Batman ends up confronting the Joker on a walkway above a vat of molten metal, where Joker throws some razor sharp playing-cards at him. He misses once, and then for the second card, Batman manages to catch it. This is a scene that makes you audibly go, “Awww shit”, and you can tell Joker is thinking the same thing. Char brought up something interesting here. The Joker constructs these incredible plans to disrupt Batman’s day. I swear, he plans everything. But only up until a certain point, because he banks too much on certain aspects. He swore that throwing Batman into the river would have finished him. It’s like the SpongeBob episode where Plankton says something like, “I never thought I’d get this far”. Once Batman makes contact with that card razor, Joker panics and immediately tries to run away, ultimately defeating himself as he trips himself up with a rope. He plays with Batman one step too far. He doesn’t realize when to stop. He pokes the bear, and although he may ultimately be a glorified, crazy mobster, he’s not a fighter. Despite this realization of Char’s, which I totally vibe with, just two episodes ago we had the Joker tripping, falling, and being caught by Batman. So overall I do consider this ending a little cheap. A low point to an otherwise entertaining episode.
Well, I guess it’s not quite the ending. Because after this, we are back with Bruce Wayne and Alfred. Alfred seems to be feeling healthy again, but he is distraught since he broke a priceless artifact earlier when he was exposed to the insanity gas. Bruce tells him not to worry, and that it can simply come out of his paycheck, but also assures him that he’s joking, and it’s all an April Fools’ joke. Bruce even chuckles about it. I love this segment, and even though Bruce can be a stick in the mud as I said, every once in a while he can let himself have a little bit of fun.
For some additional things that didn’t quite fit in with the previous paragraphs, I found myself wondering what Joker was exactly planning on accomplishing after the robberies. I almost think that he was honestly expecting to be caught by Batman, or he was at least not planning past the stage of killing him. But I guess with such an unpredictable maniac, you’d have to be able to read his thoughts to really understand a lot of it. Also, Batman’s computer specifically said that the gas causes permanent insanity. Yet at the end, everyone seems to be fine. Does it require more exposure? Does it mean that it’s permanent for just as long as it’s being inhaled? Was it simply wrong? I was a little confused by this. Mark Hamill’s performance was amazing as always, and as I explained the way that Mark tends to almost visually morph into the character while he voices him, Char mentioned something about him and the Joker becoming one like with the Venom symbiote and Eddie. Accurate observation. And lastly, she mentioned something about how this Joker is someone where you never know when you’ll be on their bad side. I got flashes of a certain early scene from Return Of the Joker here, and I cannot wait for her to see that film.
Char’s grade: A
Major firsts: The Batboat, a form of Joker’s laughing gas
Next time: Pretty Poison
By the way, I’m still messing around and trying to figure out the best format for these blog entries. I don’t think I’ve quite found something that works for me yet, so for a bit, the posts may be a little inconsistent in how they’re laid out. Experimentation! I want to try and make them a little bit less like summaries, and more discussion/reaction-based. Thanks for bearing with me! Also, any constructive feedback is appreciated!

Top New Technology Trends for 2021
Today's technology is advancing rapidly, allowing for faster change and advancement, causing the rate of change to accelerate until it eventually becomes exponential. However, it's not just technology trends and cutting edge technologies that are evolving. A lot more has changed this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, so IT pros are realizing their role in tomorrow's contactless world will not stay the same. And an IT expert in 2020-21 will constantly learn, unlearn and learn anew (out of necessity, if not out of desire).
what does that mean to you? It means staying up to date with new technology trends. And it means keeping an eye on the future to know what skills you will need to secure a safe job tomorrow and even learn how to get there. Everyone is bowing to the global pandemic, most of the global IT population is leaning back and working from home. And if you're looking to make the most of your time at home, here are the top ten new technology trends to watch out for and try out in 2021 to potentially save one of the jobs these new technology trends will create.
Tumblr media
Data Science
Data science is a universe in itself. It is a systematic study of raw data and making insightful observations. From those observations, one can take relevant actions to establish a goal. Data acquisition, data cleaning, feature engineering, modeling, and visualization are some major parts of this universe.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has already generated a lot of buzz in the last decade, but it remains one of the new technology trends as the effects it has on our lives, work, and play are only felt at an early stage. AI is already known for its superiority in image and speech recognition, navigation apps, personal assistants for smartphones, carpooling, and much more.
In addition, AI will continue to be used to analyze interactions to discover underlying contexts and insights, to predict demand for services such as hospitals, to help authorities make better decisions about resource use, and to understand changing patterns of customer behavior Real-time, real-time revenue growth, and personalized experience enhancement by analyzing data in close proximity.
The AI  souk will grow to $ 190 billion by 2025, with worldwide spending on cognitive and AI systems reaching over $ 57 billion in 2021. With the spread of AI in different sectors, new jobs are being created in development, programming, testing, support, and maintenance, to name a few. On the flip side, AI also offers some of the highest salaries, ranging from over $ 1.25,000 per year (machine learning engineer) to up to $ 145,000 per year (AI architect) today - making it the best the new technology trend that you have to watch out for!
Machine learning, the subset of AI, is also used in all industries, which creates an enormous need for qualified specialists. Forrester predicts that AI, machine learning, and computerization will make 9 percent of new jobs in the U.S. by 2025, including robotic surveillance professionals, data scientists, automation specialists, and content curators. This is another new technology trend that you need to consider too!
Robotic Process Automation
Like AI and machine learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is another technology that automates jobs. RPA is the exploitation of software to mechanize business processes such as interpreting applications, processing transactions, handling data, and even answering emails. RPA automates repetitive tasks that used to be done.
Although Forrester Research estimates that RPA automation will jeopardize the livelihoods of 230 million or more knowledge workers or about 9 percent of the global workforce, RPA is also creating new jobs and transforming existing jobs. McKinsey notes that less than 5 percent of occupations can be fully automated, but about 60 percent can be partially automated.
For you as an Information technology professional looking to the prospect and trying to understand new technology trends, RPA offers numerous career opportunities, including developer, project manager, business analyst, solution architect, and consultant. And these jobs pay off well. An RPA developer can makeover £ 534,000 a year - this is the next technology trend to keep an eye out for!
Edge Computing
Cloud computing used to be a new technology trend and has become mainstream. The main players AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform dominate the market. The acceptance of cloud computing continues to grow as more and more companies migrate to a cloud solution. However, it is no longer an emerging technology trend. Edge is.
As the amount of data businesses deal with continues to grow, in some situations they have recognized the shortcomings of cloud computing. Edge computing was designed to solve some of these problems and bypass the latency caused by cloud computing and move data to a data center for processing. It can exist if you will, “on the edge,” closer to where computing needs to take place. Because of this, edge computing can be used to process time-sensitive data at remote locations with limited or no connectivity to a central location. In such situations, frame computing can act as a small data center.
Edge computing will increase as the use of IoT (Internet of Things) devices increases. The global edge computing market is projected to reach $ 6.72 billion by 2022. And this new technology trend should only grow and not fewer and create different jobs, especially for software developers.
Quantum Computing
The next notable technology trend is quantum computing, a form of computing that uses quantum phenomena such as superposition and quantum entanglement. This amazing technology trend is also helping to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and developing potential vaccines as data can be easily queried, monitored, analyzed, and processed regardless of the source. Another area where quantum computing has applications is in banking and finance for managing credit risk for high-frequency trading and fraud detection.
Quantum computers are now many times faster than regular computers, and big brands like Splunk, Honeywell, Microsoft, AWS, Google, and many others are now involved in innovations in the quantum computing field. Revenues for the universal quantum computing market are probable to exceed $ 2.5 billion by 2029. To make a name for yourself in this new trending technology, you must have experience in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, probability, information theory, and machine learning.
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality
The next notable technological trend is quantum computing, a form of computation that uses quantum phenomena such as quantum superposition and entanglement. This amazing technological trend is also helping prevent the spread of the coronavirus and develop potential vaccines, as data can be easily queried, monitored, analyzed, and processed regardless of the source. Another area in which quantum computing has applications in banking and finance for credit risk management for high-frequency trading and fraud detection.
Quantum computers are now several times faster than conventional computers, and big brands like Splunk, Honeywell, Microsoft, AWS, Google and many others are now involved in innovations in the field of quantum computers. Global quantum computing market revenues are expected to exceed $ 2.5 billion by 2029. To make a name for yourself in this new trending technology, you must have experience in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, probability, information theory, and machine learning.
Blockchain
Although most people think of blockchain technology in terms of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, blockchain provides security that is useful in many other ways. In the simplest case, blockchain can be described as data that you can only add, not remove, or change. Hence the term "chain" because you are creating a data chain. Not being able to change the previous blocks is what makes them so safe. In addition, blockchains are consensus-driven so that no one can take control of the data. With blockchain, you don't need a trusted third party to monitor or validate transactions.
Blockchain is being incorporated and implemented in several industries, and as the use of blockchain technology increases, so too does the need for qualified specialists. A bird's eye view of a blockchain developer who specializes in developing and implementing architectures and solutions using blockchain technology. The average annual salary for a blockchain developer is £ 469,000.
If you are fascinated by blockchain and its applications and want to start your career in this trending technology, this is the right time to start. To get started with blockchain, you must have hands-on experience with programming languages, the basics of OOPS, flat and relational databases, data structures, web app development, and networking.
Internet of Things
Another promising new technology trend is the IoT. Many “things” are now created with WiFi connectivity, which means they can be connected to the Internet and each other. Hence the Internet of Things or IoT. The Internet of Things is the future and has already made it possible to connect devices, household appliances, cars, and much more with data and exchange data via the Internet.
As consumers, we already use IoT and benefit from it. We can remotely lock our doors if we forget when to go to work and preheat our ovens on the way home from work while also tracking our fitness on our Fitbits. But companies have a lot to gain now and in the near future. The IoT can enable organizations to better secure, operate, and make better decisions when data is collected and analyzed. It can enable predictive maintenance, expedite medical care, improve customer service, and offer benefits we haven't even imagined.
And we are only at the beginning of this new technology trend: According to forecasts, around 50 billion of these IoT devices will be in use worldwide by 2030, creating a huge network of interconnected devices that includes everything from smartphones to kitchen appliances. Global spending on the Internet of Things (IoT) is projected to reach $ 1.1 trillion in 2022. New technologies like 5G are expected to drive market growth in the coming years.
If you want to get into this trending technology, you need to be familiar with the basics of information security, AI, and machine learning, networking, the hardware interface, data analysis, automation, and understanding of embedded systems, as well as having devices and design skills.
5G
The next technology trend following the IoT is 5G. Where 3G and 4G technologies have enabled us to surf the internet, use data-driven services, increase bandwidth for streaming on Spotify or YouTube, and much more, 5G services are expected to revolutionize our lives. by enabling services based on advanced technologies such as AR and VR, as well as cloud-based gaming services such as Google Stadia, NVidia GeForce Now, and many more. It is expected to be used in factories, HD cameras that will help improve safety and traffic management, smart grid control, and smart retail.
Almost every telecommunications company like Verizon, Tmobile, Apple, Nokia Corp., and Qualcomm is currently working on building 5G applications. 5G services are expected to roll out globally in 2021. By the end of 2021, more than 50 operators will offer services in around 30 countries. This is a new technology trend that you need to watch out for and also secure.
Cyber Security
Cybersecurity doesn't seem like an emerging technology since it's been around for a while, but it's evolving in the same way as other technologies. In part, this is because threats are always new. The malicious hackers trying to illegally access data will not give up anytime soon and will continue to find ways to tackle even the toughest security measures. In part, this is because new technologies are being adapted to improve security. As long as we have hackers, cybersecurity will remain a trending technology as it is constantly evolving to defend itself against these hackers.
As facts of the strong need for cybersecurity professionals, the number of cybersecurity jobs is growing three times faster than other tech jobs. Also, the need for adequate cybersecurity is so great that $ 6 trillion will be spent on cybersecurity worldwide by 2021.
You need to note that as challenging as the field may be, it also offers lucrative six-figure income. The roles can range from ethical hackers to security engineers to chief security officers and offer a promising career path for someone who wants to get into this evergreen environment and stick with the trending technology.
For future reference

Mobile App Development
Mobile app development is one such sector that is growing at a fast pace and going to continue in the near future as well.
Apps have been here for a long time but, you can’t serve similar things to the audience for years, there has to be updates and upgrades to keep them hooked with your app.
Presently, there are 2.8 Million apps in the Google Play Store and 2.1 Million apps in the Apple App Store.
Mobile app development is one of the sectors that is growing at a very fast pace and going to continue in the near future.
By 2025, the mobile industry will have 5.9 billion unique mobile subscribers or 71% of the expected population of the Earth.
Do you know that a modern smartphone user has an average of 35 mobile applications installed on the mobile device?
However, many of them are removed after the first use. This is often associated with poor performance or low productivity.
Also, the mobile industry continues to grow and the number of mobile startups is only growing.
Since their introduction in 2008, mobile app trends have changed. A forecast from Statista report highlights that in 2017, mobile users downloaded 178.1 billion apps on their devices. That figure is expected to shoot up to 258.2 billion in 2022.
What do you think will happen to the mobile market over the next decade?
This is definitely a good news for startups as well as medium-sized businesses that are facing a lot of difficulty in reaching the target audience while creating a buzz regarding their products/services.
With the rapidly evolving mobile landscape and increased use of the lean methodology in mobile app development, improving brand recognition, customer engagement and attaining more significant growth is no longer a big deal.
To help an entrepreneur understand the significance of having a mobile app for his/her business, take a look at current trends and future of the mobile app market.
Mobile App Trends for 2020 and Future
1) User Experience Will Take Precedence
The mobile app industry is currently dominating. There are many social media entertainment, ecommerce, banking applications etc.
The biggest players are Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Amazon etc. But this didn’t stop the new players to try their hands in the mobile app market.
According to Statista, in the 3rd quarter of 2018, there were 2.1 million apps for Android users and 2 million for Apple users.
In the future, more emphasis will be given on app security as well as optimization.
Google itself is working in that direction by setting out guidelines that require app developers to optimize their apps for the latest Android version.
Similarly, Apple has also made it clear that abandoned apps, those that are outdated or can’t run will be removed from the App Store. In the nutshell, all these efforts will lead to a more refined and elevated user experience.
2) The Design Approach
This one is an initial factor and the mobile app programmers know that.
Intuitive design is something which is necessary for having a sound user experience.
Effective display of information on the mobile interface has the power to attract more and more users on mobile applications like Instagram, Pinterest etc. This makes them interactive and responsive interfaces.
Moreover, mobile app designers are developing applications that can tackle various mobile challenges like user interruption and partial use of attention.
These applications today take complete advantage of technologies having novel features like:
Circular design pattern
Interactive content layer cards
Manipulation of content
3) Mobile Security High On Agenda
No matter how mind-blowing a certain technology is presented to be, people will only take it seriously if it promises total security.
There’s more awareness now about the threat of cyber attacks and the kind of damage they can inflict with all the critical data available on the internet.
Although banking apps run the greatest risk of being attacked, any app that stores its users’ personal data becomes a potential target.
For example, in late 2016, two hackers were able to get the names, email address, and mobile phone number of 57 million users of the Uber app.
This urgency to offer enhanced security is felt throughout the mobile app market. As a result, we’ll see app developers work on strict guidelines with major emphasis on security.
In the future of mobile apps, there will be no place for apps that can’t guarantee the security of user’s data.
4) More Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Apps
Augmented and virtual reality are the futuristic technologies that are going to play a significant role in the mobile app development industry.
The popular game-Pokemon Go gave a glimpse of how it can be integrated in the mobile ecosystem.
Besides gaming applications, mobile app development services will extend massively into ecommerce & marketing apps.
According to Gartner, by the end of 2020, almost 100 million consumers will be shopping online or in the physical brick and mortar store when Augmented Reality is used.
AR helps users to connect with the content in a more detailed manner. This encourages companies to hire mobile app developers in order to set high standards for user interface design.
5) Cloud-based mobile apps
Cloud technology already had a large impact on the mobile app development world. Mobile developers have tapped into the cloud’s ability to store large amounts of data in cyberspace.
Well, this has allowed them to develop apps that are no longer limited to the internal storage limitations of physical devices.
By placing the mobile app data in the cloud, users can successfully run apps without having to install them.
To improve storage capabilities, cloud-based apps not only increase productivity but make development easier and faster, too. As we move into 2020, the popularity of developing cloud platform -based applications will rise.
6) Instant Apps – Colossal Potential
As the name itself suggests, instant apps work instantly as you tap on the url.
This further eliminated the requirement to install apps on the smartphone.
Now is the time that instant apps have started making a mark in the industry.
The app usage is on the rise but the people still have qualm when it comes to accepting new applications.
According to Statista, more than 50% of the smartphone users download zero new apps per month.
Also, more than 21% of users abandon the app after using it for once. App discovery can still do with some improvements.
Many users rely a great deal on App Store reviews to give new apps a try. Mobile app development came up with the brilliant instant app that offers plenty of solutions.
When there are ecommerce apps, you’ll have to manually fill in your card details in your first usage.
The mobile app development services came up with this brilliant idea to create instant apps that offer a more convenient solution, wherein customers can make payment directly via Google Pay or Apple Pay.
This strategy has the potential to take mobile commerce transactions through the roof. Therefore, there’s every reason the Instant Apps have given more push in the mobile app markets.
7) Mobile App Development for IoT Opens Endless Possibilities
The future of mobile app development is not only about mobile phones and tablets anymore.
All of us are in the era of cloud computing and smart devices. The mobile application development for IOT will be even bigger in the upcoming future.
With the rising popularity Android and smartphone devices, it is a serious time that you take into consideration the true potential of smart devices
When you look back a decade, you can look at the various technological changes that have been introduced in a very short timespan.
The dedicated mobile app developers will tell you that there are endless possibilities when it comes to technology.
The more technology advances, the better we become at pinpointing its limitations, which further helps in defining the areas of improvement.
The Internet of Things is a hot topic today. There are many smart devices created one after the other as per our requirements.
The smart home solutions have thermostats, cameras, doorbells, alarm systems, locks, smoke alarms.
Besides these, there are exciting smart personal assistants like Google Home, Amazon Echo or Apple HomePod.
All of them are quite popular but besides these, there are 26 billion devices that will be connected by the end of 2020 and this has been reported by Gartner survey.
Smartphones have different features like GPS and multiple connectivity options viz. Wifi, Bluetooth, and NFC which are essential for IoT’s utilization. As a result of this, the mobile app’s demand will rise concurrently with the IoT’s proliferation.
You must have also seen self-driving cars by Google, the thermostat, the Ring controlling everything and the refrigerator that reads your tweets.
As different devices start getting interconnected, the opportunity for software to app value to the smart devices become even better.
Then the competition will be focusing on which has the best quality software.
Even today hiring talented mobile app developers is a real challenge but later, it will become more difficult. Well, this is where the future of mobile app development becomes a mine of opportunities.
8) Going Global
Outsourcing mobile app development is already so popular and it is expected to rise more in the coming years.
Driven mainly by lower production costs and the improved quality of service and development offered by companies and developers offshore.
As per a report by ContractIQ, mobile app developers in the US charge a median of $150 per hour compared to approximately $35 in South America and Eastern Europe.
Undoubtedly, many agree to the age old adage ‘What you pay for is what you get’, suggesting that lower mobile app development costs could only mean poorer quality.
However, it is very common knowledge that the mobile developers have the ability to produce quality work, with many showcasing their top-notch skills on GitHub.
The future of mobile app development will also see a rise in mobile apps in all the emerging nations.
As mobile devices have now become a part of everyday life, it is without doubt that mobile technology will change the social and economic aspects of life in the global developing world.
A 2014 UNESCO study suggested that mobile technology could help tackle illiteracy and improve education in developing countries. Globally, we foresee that there will be a push for more mobile apps that could help to save lives and improve the quality of lives in developing countries.
9) Mobile Development for the Future
When the mobile app was first introduced, no one could have ever imagined that a decade later, technology would be at the center of how society functions.
When it comes to mobile app development, it is clear that moving forward into 2020 developers and businesses need to invest in developing for the future.
In each successive iteration of mobile app development, technology has moved a step ahead every time making our lives better.
There is still a lot of potential. The future of app trends will be shaped by how businesses harness technology to solve various issues.
After the identification of trends in advancements to technology but in user behaviors and preferences as well, mobile app developers will be able to adapt and deliver technology that provides real value in everyday life.

Net Neutrality Hurts YOU
Apparently, some people (mostly Anarcho-Capitalists) still have no idea what no Net Neutrality would mean for the US---even after the outrage from EA’s decision to put restrictions on how many hours you can play to get unlockable characters and making it so the only way around that is paying $100 or more per character, or else you couldn’t play matches because only one person can play that one character and if all default characters are being played, you couldn’t choose a character and get kicked for not choosing one.
So apart from the issue of small businesses and starting entrepreneurs being pushed out by larger corporations (and many gamers do use indie apps like Curse Client, TeamSpeak and Discord and community sites like ModDB), let’s focus on how you---the average consumer---would be affected:
Think of the internet as being a physical highway. Nearly every part of America is connected by highways, which also connect cities to each other and offer an easily-accessible and faster route to the different areas within a city (much faster than walking or by navigating the many turns and intersections through several neighborhoods to get there).
Every mile or two, there’s an access ramp that lets you get onto the highway. Wherever you are in a city or outside of one, there’s a way for you to access the highway. Naturally, at particular times of the day (i.e. Rush Hour around 6-9am and 4-7pm) and on special days (like the weekends and during Holidays), there’s more traffic and things slow down, but traffic happens wherever people drive and that can’t be helped.
For all the tax-dollars you and millions of others contribute, the highway’s kept open and is maintained by construction, law enforcement and emergency services to keep things running smoothly. The highway is a public service available to anyone who has a car.
Now imagine the highway being like this:
The highway is now the private property of a for-profit corporation. It’s no longer accessible to the general public, it’s available only to subscribers to that corporation and the subscription fee---by nature of it being for profit and not solely for maintenance costs---is more expensive per person using the highway. Not everyone is pitching-in money to cover the costs and because of the lack of people paying, the burden of payment falls to the select few who’ve subscribed.
When you can afford to pay the subscription (monthly or yearly) and so long as you keep paying your subscription, you’re given permission to use the highway. On its face, a smaller group using the same highway might seem faster than if the entire public had access to it. But---as always---there’s a catch...
The access ramps to the highway are now restricted to that company’s subscribers. If your ideal on-ramp to get onto the highway happens to be owned by a different company than the one you subscribe to, then you can’t use that on-ramp. If you do intend to switch companies, you’ll have to negotiate the contract you signed with that first company---and we know that companies like Verizon, Sprint and AT&T have contracts that either lock you in for a set term (one year, two years, etc.) that needs to expire before you switch or demand that you pay a fine for switching and will give you no refunds for all those months you paid for (paid earlier or in advance, it doesn’t matter).
To avoid all that bureaucratic and financial hassle, you just make the extra effort to go a different route to the access ramp your subscription lets you use. But there’s more to this catch...
The off-ramps taking you off the highway and where your destination is are also owned by these companies. Again, if the ramp closer to where you need to go isn’t owned by the company you’re paying, that’s tough luck for you. Before you enter that contract, it’d be best for you to plan-out where you’re going and what routes you need to take and find the company that best suits your activity.
But as it just so happens, different companies have different levels of quality to their services and different companies offer different services.
Let’s say that you’re stuck in traffic and you can’t get to where you’re going (soon or even at all). Just out of the corner of your eye, you see someone speeding down another highway to where you’re going---or, alternatively, that speeding car’s using a lane you’re not in. Either that other company has a faster route to where you need to go or that person’s paid more for that “express” service. Again, you either have to switch companies or subscribe to a different (more expensive) service plan to use the faster route.
But now, we have the issue of your family and friends using the highway.
If your Mother wants to go shopping, your Brother needs to go to the library for a class paper and you want to get to the Big Game with your friends, you’ll have to navigate the course of your company’s highway to access those things your family needs/wants and to get there quickly. In hindsight, maybe you should’ve gotten the “Shopping Package” from the company so that Mom can do her shopping---but that would’ve meant you’d have to give up your speedy access to all the games you want to go to or that you’d have to pay a higher subscription to have both shopping and games services.
With all the extra effort of taking your Mom shopping (where tons of other people are already going to or already there) AND getting your Bro the research he needs for class, you’re going to be late to the game or your seat’s going to be taken by someone who got there first---someone who either didn’t need the shopping and school/work services in their subscription or could afford all those services together (or simply had the better company that did all those services for less or just got him to the game faster).
Naturally, since the highways are now private property, the company can do with it as it wants and you’re paying for it. If they feel like closing-off your ideal route or want to stop providing the services you and your family uses, tough luck again. At the same time, they could also raise the subscription to pay for new on and off-ramps or to add another lane to the highway. Or the company could go broke and you need a new service provider.
Or the company decides “Fuck it, let’s close this part of the highway because we get more money from this other part of the highway and the profits from those people can more than cover the lost profits from dissatisfied customers”. Or, as businesses happen to do, merge companies together---which may slow you down with the added population or charge you more in a subscription or for added services.
TL;DR: I could’ve just said that the corporations could shove a shitload of toll-booths on the highway and gotten the point across that you really DON’T want toll-booths on your internet super-highway (unless you somehow achieve orgasm by paying fucktons more than you would be paying for basic public services), but some people honestly need that much explaining to get the damn point.
So either you be a good American citizen and allow everyone with a computer to access whatever they want to on the internet by supporting Net Neutrality, or put your fate in the hands of a distant corporation that operates according to its interests rather than yours by killing Neutrality

qqq options trading female advisor North Carolina As you are looking at the charts for the Asset and you see the current price start to go Up then a few minutes later it goes Down by an almost equal amount, then a few minutes after that it goes Up again. If you look at the average price during this time period you should see that it remains almost the same. Some traders call it "Flat lined", but the trading term is " Sideways Moving". This is where you apply the "DDSS" strategy and DO NOT make any Trades for that Asset. A Sideways Moving price is very hard to predict and most of the time your prediction will be wrong. Stay away from it and look for another Asset that has an obvious Up or Down Trend Line. I must admit, the RTSB and DDSS strategies are really attention getters to highlight that you must pay attention to what you are doing as you can lose money fast if you do not do your own research before trading. In conventional options trading you use the Spread or Straddle strategy to buy CALLS and sell PUTS on the same Asset. However, in Binary Options trading you can't place a Call and PUT trade for the same Asset unless you are using two different trading Brokers which is not recommended. The basic idea of the Spread in Binary Options is to find two Assets where the Trend line is Up for one and Down for the other. On the Asset that the Trend line is up you place a CALL trade on it while on the Asset where the Trend line is down you place a PUT trade on it at the same time. The Spread strategy is often called "hedging your bet". If both trades end In-the-Money you could receive an 81% payout on both of them. A $100 Trade Price on each of the trades would result in a $162 profit. A loss in one CALL trade can be offset or even profitable by a PUT trade made on a different Asset in another trade made at the same time. The simplicity of the Price Up or the Price Down and two mouse click trading with as much as an 81% profit has caught the attention of a whole new segment of investors. "RTSB" - The Simplified StrategyAlong with the simplified trading comes a simplified strategy for trading Binary Options. I like to call it "RTSB" which stands for "Read the Screen Bud". Yep, that is right. Open your eyes, turn off the TV, stop texting your friends, close your chat room windows, and look at what is on the trading screen right in front of you. In addition to displaying the current price and trading period every Binary Options trading screen has a button that will allow you to display the chart of the previous trading period. While "RTSB" is the visual cue to look at what is in front of you the analytical cue is for you to look at whether the price of the Asset is going Up or Down. The direction of movement is called the Trend Line and the question you need to answer for yourself is whether the Trend is going Up or is it going Down. If the Trend is going Up then you would consider making a CALL trade. However, if the Trend is going Down you want to consider making a PUT trade. The "DDSS" StrategyThe "DDSS" Strategy is also quite simple, "Don't Do Something Stupid". This strategy is best explained by an example. As you are looking at the charts for the Asset and you see the current price start to go Up then a few minutes later it goes Down by an almost equal amount, then a few minutes after that it goes Up again. If you look at the average price during this time period you should see that it remains almost the same. Some traders call it "Flat lined", but the trading term is " Sideways Moving". the best options trading course West Virginia If you find before the expiry time, that the price movement is in your favour, you can hedge the contract and lock in the already made profits.
How can we make use of the binary options to make money?1. Trade on the most active and liquid securities: A trader should always do trade on those companies which are very active on the indices and do larger volumes of trade each day. These will be highly capitalized growth oriented companies and you can always expect their prices to go up. 2. Do the opposite if the market has risen already: In a day if you have missed out on a market rally caused by a sector a particular company, then don't feel sad. You could trade for the opposite as the prices are to settle at the end of the day. 3. Give importance for quantity than quality: The most important thing that you should consider while engaging in binary trading options is that you should consider quantity over quality of the securities. Binary options trading will offer you more return when you go for quantity of shares than to its quality. The traders need not worry about the magnitude but consider only direction of the security price. 4.

Content Marketing All-Stars Q&A: David L. Smith of Mediasmith
GSD&M
Tumblr media
If you want to know where digital marketing is headed, there may be no one better to ask than David L. Smith.
Smith, the CEO and Founder of Mediasmith, has been a longtime pioneer of new media strategy, execution, and measurement. Since the early days of the Internet in Silicon Valley, he’s been using, refining, and explaining emerging digital approaches.
So, which trends has Smith seen take shape in 2017? How does he see digital media and advertising evolving in the coming years?
Check out our All-Star Q&A below to find out:
Q: What is your background and what does Mediasmith focus on?
A: I go back all the way to the Mad Men era.  I worked for an agency as a media planner in New York in the late 60s.   A lot of what you see in the show is true, though we didn't drink before lunch.
I learned a lot from that period. In the early 70s, I came out to San Francisco and I've been here ever since.
This company, Mediasmith, has been around since 1989. We were founded in a marketplace where many of the independent media services at that time were just buyers.  Their thing was: “We can buy it for you cheaper.”   Because I'm a planner and a strategist, I saw a place for a company that was more strategy-oriented rather than just execution-oriented, or what they call now, activation-oriented.
Because of our proximity to Silicon Valley we’ve been involved with new technologies from the start. We got involved with the web in the mid-90s, and worked with a lot of early metrics companies such as DoubleClick.
Even today, metrics and data are a strong part of the underpinnings of Mediasmith.
People know us as being digitally-oriented, though 30 to 40% of what we do is still traditional media. We provide clients with a media mix that includes online and offline.  We work in literally every medium that you could imagine for clients both in the US and abroad. It's media strategy, planning, buying, tracking, optimization, and analytics.
Q: Which digital trends have you seen take shape in 2017? Specifically, are there certain approaches, tactics, or platforms that you've seen as a major impact this year?
A: Certainly the emergence of new platforms like Snap. The continued growth of social media in general is an all-encompassing thing, whether that’s the president commenting on Twitter or simply the clout of a company like Facebook.
Another trend is the maturation of programmatic buying. We’re seeing more programmatic direct buys, not just using programmatic for leftover inventory. While that's been around for a while, it received a big boost this year.
A third trend is the whole area related to quality, fraud detection, brand safety, and transparency; understanding who's getting paid what within the digital ecosystem. It comes down to ads being seen by humans and making sure that your advertising is going to be effective. The first step of that is viewability; making sure that people rather than bots are making the call to a page.
Tumblr media
Also, an increasing number of clients and advertisers are using multi–touch attribution. They want to know how much credit should go to different digital channels. Search, which is often the last-click, has tended to get all the credit versus a display ad where somebody was initially lured in.
It’s about understanding how everything fits together -- mobile, display, social, video, email, etcetera -- and understanding how to credit each of those things properly.
Then there’s the holy grail of measurement: being able to do attribution between online and offline.  That is what more and more clients are looking for.  Nobody has the silver bullet for online and offline attribution, but there’s a lot of progress being made.
Q: What are some examples of new or different things that you have worked with your clients on this year?
A: One is kind of a man–bites–dog story: twenty years ago when we wanted to buy digital, we bought a lot of it from print media and the digital was bonus. These days, and especially this year more than ever, we will buy digital campaigns and the print will be bonus.
That shows the maturation and power of digital. The fact that the publishers are willing to bonus ads in their magazines or in their newspapers in exchange for a significant digital buy.
Another thing that we've seen this year, and that we've started to apply more and more for our clients, is the whole area of influencer marketing. There's a lot of controversy about it, but when done well it can be very effective.
An example is that we were able to use celebrity chefs for a promotion with our client, BJ's Restaurants Inc.. It was an effective promotion because it used chefs outside of our own client but had an association in the related area.
Something that’s old-is-new-again is that clients today are looking to work across multiple media. Many agencies have sprung up focusing on a single channel – say Facebook or search – but increasingly, brands want to work across online and offline, or within multiple areas of digital. The idea of maximizing effectiveness across channels is coming back to the fore, rather than having a lot of individual efforts.
Q: As you look towards the year ahead, which digital trends are you watching?
A: So much of the stuff that's going on is really exciting.
Whether it's twelve months or it's two or three years, over the next period of time we're set to see the big impact of AI. And that’s already becoming visible. A great example is the way that Amazon uses it. If you like this, you might like that -- that kind of thing. And Facebook and Google are using artificial intelligence to bring us better targeting and to bring the consumer more appropriate content.
Another area is augmented reality. There’s been all this talk about virtual reality but augmented reality is going to be a bigger and bigger factor. It’s not just Google Glass 2.0; you’ll be able to walk down the street and see what’s in various stores through an overlaid display, or see the ingredients in a package, or see what a sweater is made from. And then there’s the inevitable combination of AR and VR, mixed reality (MR), which will be even more impressive.
Then there are driverless cars. People talk about it hitting the mainstream in years, maybe 2020, but in Arizona there are literally going to be driverless taxis in the next few months.
That’s going to produce a whole new medium: if the average person commutes for 60-90 minutes a day in their car and the driving is automated, then there’s an opportunity to install screens in the cars. Passengers can do conference calls, check their email and schedule, watch entertainment, whatever they want.
One more is the blockchain.  It is being seriously looked at to help with the whole area of payments; to make sure that we're paying for something that is legitimate and understanding who's getting paid what in the media ecosystem. Blockchain is not necessarily fast enough to assist programmatic advertising today, but it will as computers inevitably get faster and faster.   It’s going to be a big part of our industry.
Tumblr media
IOT is starting to penetrate many homes. This is the deployment of sensors in almost everything new that you buy for your house. Thermostats, front door locks with cameras, lightbulbs, and many other things that can be controlled from your phone remotely.
Lastly Voice, led by Amazon’s Alexa but with significant entries by Google (OK Google), Apple (Siri) and Microsoft (Cortana). Voice is quickly becoming the new I/O mechanism, replacing the keyboard.
As a result of the above, the number of new media channels and platforms will explode over the next 5 years. And they will all have their own “native” metrics. Making the job of attribution even harder.
It’s an exciting time to be in the media business. And I can’t wait to see what is next.

This Company Wants You to Invest in Kehinde Wiley, Sneakers, and Skateboard Decks

Art collectors usually want to show off a little. It’s no accident that major artworks snagged at auction are often referred to as “trophies”—in theory, they’re meant to be lived with, displayed, and marveled over. But a new breed of art-investment platforms are banking on the idea that a younger class of collectors may be intrigued by co-ownership, a model in which each individual owns only a fraction of the work in question.
Co-ownership platforms treat paintings and sculptures in the manner of publicly traded assets, offering shares to collectors whose budgets might be quite modest. The latest player in this burgeoning field is Otis, a platform that skews toward a demographic somewhere between the mainstream art world and hypebeast culture. Launching this week, Otis’s first offering will be Kehinde Wiley’s St. Jerome Hearing the Trumpet of Last Judgement (2018), purchased by the platform for $237,500 earlier this year. This will be followed by co-investment opportunities in more unexpected items, from Supreme skateboard decks and vintage comic books to an Hermès Birkin bag and a Rolex 6265 Daytona watch. A KAWS tondo painting will also be part of the initial suite of offerings; given the recent market frenzy around the artist, it seems likely to spark interest.
There’s a lot to puzzle over here. Why, for instance, would someone invest $50, or $5,000, to claim a small percentage of an artwork (or a watch) that they’ll never be able to live with (or wear)? And if one of the goals is to provide buyers with the feeling that they’re supporting the arts, why would they choose one of these new platforms over a model like Kickstarter, which already allows small donors to become patrons?
For Michael Karnjanaprakorn, the thirtysomething who founded Skillshare before launching Otis, the answers to those questions are nuanced. The name itself is likewise layered. Otis is a name that implies “wealth” in Old German, but also nods to Kanye West and Jay-Z’s 2011 song of the same name, which prominently features an Otis Redding sample; and, like Oscar and Casper, it’s an approachable, anthropomorphic moniker.
Karnjanaprakorn envisions the future Otis user’s motivations as being a mix of financial interest (actually making a return on their investment) and a desire to have a deeper relationship with the “cultural artifacts of our generation.” Co-ownership of real estate is also part of the mix, and early promotional materials also cite a wild and slightly confusing array of other assets, from vertical farms to films and albums.
Tumblr media

“We’re not really an auction house; we’re not really a fund, an art gallery, a museum, or a collector,” Karnjanaprakorn added. “We’re a combination of all of those things.” He posited Otis as “a culturally relevant, community-owned museum, powered by the people in the community.”
Artworks and other items co-owned by Otis users will be on display in a dedicated location in New York’s East Village; Karnjanaprakorn compares it to something like the Brant Foundation’s wildly popular Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition, which was free to the public, but required timed tickets for entry. Otis owners would receive priority access, of course. “It was really important to make sure that none of the artwork that we acquired would ever be locked up and hidden in storage,” he said.
Otis’s model isn’t dissimilar to other co-ownership platforms, like the U.K.–based Feral Horses. A user can buy however many shares of an artwork they desire during the initial offering. Otis aims to retain each work for a period of around 5 to 10 years, after which it could be sold at a profit, theoretically driving gains for co-owners. (At some point, the goal is to allow owners to trade or sell their individual shares.) Karnjanaprakorn said that Otis would operate like “a tier-one collector, or a museum”—in other words, like an institution dedicated to nurturing the longer arc of an artist’s career, rather than someone looking to flip works for a quick and easy payday.
Still, I remained a bit stuck on the concept: Wouldn’t someone with $500 or $1,000 to burn want to put that money toward a more modest artwork they could actually hang in their bedroom, rather than one they could merely go visit as a fractional “owner?” Karnjanaprakorn doesn’t see those things as mutually exclusive.
“There’s always a part of a market that’s inaccessible to someone,” he said. “If you want to buy a print and put it in your home, you can definitely do that. But if you want to also own a piece of a Basquiat—you can do that, as well. There’s the utility of privately being able to enjoy the artwork in your house, but there’s also the public utility of feeling like you’re a co-owner.”
Francesco Bellanca, co-founder of Feral Horses, echoed many of these points. That platform launched in 2017; initially, its plan was to acquire artworks that would then be leased to third parties, though they have since abandoned this part of the funding model.
“It comes down to a bigger conversation on the meaning of ownership itself,” Bellanca said. “We don’t want to be a replacement for art purchases. We don’t believe that people should choose between buying artwork and hanging it at home, or buying shares on Feral Horses.”

Bellanca’s platform is likewise trying to chart a path between investment and a certain form of patronage or inclusion—a sense of community among co-owners. “We’re in the market to offer a different value proposition; we want to allow people to connect, own, and invest in art more than they are today,” he explained. “On the other hand, we don’t want to think of Feral Horses as a way to coldly speculate on art.”
That said, Bellanca sees more opportunities for gains in a co-ownership model, versus a nascent collector who is buying modestly priced works and hoping the artist becomes the next overnight sensation. “Buying a $1,000 artwork is statistically not going to be a great investment—at least financially,” he said. “In the art market, there’s an inverse correlation between supply and demand, making it very hard for emerging artists to grow in value. But with the model of co-ownership, you can have access to higher-value pieces, increasing your chances of getting a positive return on investment.”
Feral Horses users can currently try to sell their shares at any point in time, at whatever price they choose. The total number of shares available for any given artwork is set in advance by the platform. For instance, a painting by Patrick Hughes is broken down into 7,200 possible shares, each offered at £10 (about $12.50), since the work’s estimated value is currently £72,000 ($90,100). With previous Feral Horses artworks, Bellanca claimed that “we saw our users selling in the secondary market for an average 25 percent profit on the initial price.” Prospective co-owners are also offered additional, more tangible perks, not dissimilar to the tiered rewards offered to Kickstarter patrons: books, poster prints, studio visits with the artist.
Masterworks, a platform established in 2017, is also vying for art co-owners, especially those who might be wooed by hard statistics. In-house editorial poses questions like: “Can Andy Warhol Beat the S&P 500?” (Short answer: Yes.) Currently, the site is pushing a 1979 Warhol work from his “Reversal” series, acquired by Masterworks for $1.8 million. “Similar” works, the site avers, have enjoyed an 11.25% internal rate of return (IRR). Users are not, as of now, allowed to sell their shares after the initial offering; any profits would only accrue when Masterworks unloads the Warhol at some point in the future.
There are plenty of reasons to be both optimistic and skeptical about this new crop of co-ownership platforms. They all stress a desire to “democratize” the market, but that presupposes a large audience of small-scale investors with hundreds or thousands of dollars to invest in art assets (rather than, say, paying off their student loan debts or mortgages). Otis does add an interesting spin on the existing model by seemingly appealing to a younger demographic—readers of Complex or Juxtapoz, rather than Artforum. It will be interesting to see if Otis’s bet pays off; if a younger guard of collectors will actually be interested in fractional ownership. When a new product drops at the Supreme store in Lower Manhattan, for instance, a line of young buyers wraps around the block. Will Otis be able to capture the attention of this crowd, for whom snagging a so-called “grail” most definitely means not having to share it with anyone else?
An artist like KAWS is an interesting case, and one in which Otis’s distinct focus overlaps with the more traditional white cube. “When we first started working on this, every single person we talked to in the art world said to stay away from him,” Karnjanaprakorn recalled. “He’d be a flash in the pan; he has no support; he’s a street artist; he sold out because he did the collaboration with Uniqlo. People are having a really difficult time understanding why he’s doing so well as an artist; it’s because he built a global fan base, and he leveraged the internet to do that.”
Otis is hoping to similarly leverage the internet to allow even modest investors to buy into that wave. And if it works for street artists–turned–art market darlings, perhaps it’ll also work for less intuitive investments, from Supreme gear to Incredible Hulk comic books.

Sick And Tired Of Doing Tax Returns The Old Way? Read This
Actual trading events where things went very wrong - and the ways to avoid them
The Six Sure-Fire Ways to Fail Trading Commodities:
5) Load Up With Everything You Have in Your Account
We?ve all see the same stuff about commodity trading management of your capital...regarding how we should only risk 5-10% individuals account one any single trading idea, etc. Much from the trading folklore is false, but this idea could be the truth.
During the last 2006 gold commodity market increase, I sometimes chatted with commodity futures brokers about the anonymous results of their customers who traded their very own accounts. No names, just results. There was one futures and option trader who stood out. He was right about the gold market. He hated buying way out-of-the-money inflated choices on futures (for good reason) and stayed with futures contracts only.
He was a brave soul who had about $100,000 to do business with and held maybe 5 futures contracts for the long term. As gold futures moved from the $500/oz area toward $650, he was creating a good score. I was proud hearing of his capability to sit through the corrections and combine for the dips. He was around about 12 futures contracts. His protective stops were down maybe 25 full points away from your action. His stops were safe at the time for the reason that volatility was mild. His was obviously a textbook campaign up to now.
Then came your day if the gold futures market took its first sharp dip and stopped him out. He made about $60,000 on the trade, but was angry he got stopped out. The gold market became popular again to the upside. He lost his discipline and started buying breakouts. Gold futures contracts went in a nasty chopping range for the month as he bought futures most days and also got stopped out for losses.
Determine your objectives in terms of short and long lasting.
He was livid. He then started buying larger and larger lots and moving his stops farther away. The market always figures ways to screw the majority at any one time and continued to adopt him out. In short order he gave back the $60K profit and a few of his principal.
Once the objectives are finalized, seek the kind of investments to get.
This was his second warning to halt and close the lid on on himself, but he didn?t obtain the message. The gold market had changed coming from a trending market to a chop. Finally he thought we would change his tactics and join?em inside chop game. He started buying 20-lot futures within the middle of the night with stop loss orders some amount of money away. This wasn?t his game and the man lost again, dropping another $50K. The market did start to trend up again because he added more new money to his account to acquire the breakouts. The days were drained with this gold bull leg. Gold future contracts were sometimes having daily swings of $50. It was totally Jaws V.
Calculate the level of risk to face up to it.
Then he decided he needed to acquire gold call options to survive this intra-day and overnight volatility. He loaded through to strikes at 900 and 1000,? far out-of-the-money. At about this time gold futures contracts finally made their top at over $700/oz as he correctly forecast within the beginning. He would are already up over $120K just by sitting tight.
Determine your location regarding needs and goals.
Since that period, gold futures have declined sharply in the low $530 range. His option account eroded to worthless. While holding call options, he had gotten stubborn and decided industry wouldn't boot him out, whatever. Does this circumstance?
Make sure you might have time for you to follow-through your commitments.
What can we study from this? He started out well, but unfortunately developed a multitude of errors inside end. He had a hard and fast scenario, lost his discipline, traded too large for his account and bought far out-of-the-money gold options that have been inflated in value. It?s sad, really. The saddest part is he was correct for the direction from the gold futures market! He KNEW gold was increasing along started buying futures contracts inside the lower $500/oz zone.
Be consistent and organized. Make thorough efforts in what you may do.
He was right as rain for a lot of months and was doing fine. But industry changed coming from a trending, to some chopping, then finally to a bearish decline. This is quite normal in normal markets. Remember to always trade for a normal market! He was always looking for a classic gold-bug blow-off scenario. Sure it'll happen again someday, and not often enough to risk funds on it each time.
Be ready to accept each of the new thoughts and acquire out your myths of your respective bag.

I'm proud of myself
So... Idk y I'm making this post... But here goes nothing... Tl/dr at the end..
So, flashback a few months and you would have probably seen me hiding from the world in my room. At the time, I felt as if the world was too much and in a way, I was able to relate to all those pics about how 'the world is scary as an adult, and thus I wanna be a kid again'.
I was in college studying econs, a new language (French), and 2 psy subjects l, in which one of them was driving me mad. I would now say it was just due to the way I overthinked my assignments, coursework and tests, and how I mismanaged my time due to finding everything burdening and thus pushing it aside to deal with them when I'm ready, and guess what?
I never allocated time for them. And so they piled up and I panicked until one day, I was running late for one of my classes. My mom was yelling at me, I was trying to put on my pants, and it just happened. I knew how to get away from it all. I would just drop out.
It seemed so simple. Just stay in my room and don't open the door. Then it would all somehow magically go away. So, I stopped yelling back at my mom to inform her that I'm coming. I shut my door, locked it, took of my clothes, and just laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling as my room got brighter as it was in the morning.
And then the hell ensued. You see, I have done this all before, skip a few classes and what not. But that was in school, which is kinda free in my country. But this is college. My parents worked so hard to ensure we had the money to go to uni and this is what I'm doing. And yes, I was a very spoilt brat.
My mom first started to make sure that I really know how much $$ I'm pouring down the drain. Then she called my dad, who said this may only happen for 1 day as he knew last night I was awake on my laptop (I was watching code geass.. Although I do remember watching it when I was a child... So I guess it's rewatching), so I would have been tired (which I was... So this could be one of the reasons)
You see, while I did say this may have a way I "escape from it all", at the time, my plan was to skip a few days of uni and catch up. Which certainly wasn't the case. So like old times sake, everytime I went down, I got my usual lecture on how I'm wasting my life (told in a sad tone), how others are working so hard to try and get a life as good as mine (told in a frustrated tone), and how my "friends" were missing me (which I don't even have... Wut??), by my mother.
But the real kicker is that I just did not catch up at all. I just thought I'll do it later. And again, that never happened. After 3 days, which was the normal amount of days I would skip continuously, my mom kinda realise that I ain't gonna head beck to uni.
So, I don't really remember the sequence of events, but it went a little something like this.
1) my mom called up the uni to try and figure out what happened (like if there was bullying or anything... Idk... I didn't even know she called until later on)
2) my mom started to find if there is a place she can dump my sorry ass at (I think I'll elaborate on this topic later on)
3) she started to see if she can block only my electronics from the house wifi (cos the in Internet is always the root cause of all "youth deviance"
4) "pled" with me/tell me how she hates me for doing this
5) everyone branding me a freeloader
6) stop letting me have any food/eating up all the leftovers so I would not have anything to eat anymore if I sneak downstairs to eat late at night when they are asleep
7) keep reminding me about how my parents won't live long (they are very old and both have health conditions which have also been passed down onto me and my sister [.. Yay])
So, you may say this is normal for family to do this to guide you back to go to uni. But not for me. I still do not know the rules in Malaysia and if how my parents were planning to boot me out was legal. But they were getting there alright. Now at the beginning of last year, I got my phone replaced with a new one, and this new phone already had Instagram downloaded. So I started to go back into Instagram. I would post regularly and such (like the post underneath this is).
But during this time, I felt so ashamed that I decided to hide the fact that I have stopped going to uni from my school friends. I only posted food related pics such as the one from deepavalli. I even deleted the posting I made about the invitation I got to go to a ceremony (?) for getting on the deans list during my 2nd semester (I'll elaborate on this topic later).
But after some time, I kinda got uses to it. My mom gave me a deadline that if I did not continue next sam (the sam that has just passed), she was kicking me out. I started to find places to stay and work opportunities. And that was when it kicked in. There isn't really any good future of you don't have at least a degree in Malaysia. Like you can barely find anything. Many jobs that pay less are often given to kids who are still in school for a part time job, or they don't pay enough for you to survive if you are to live on your own, till you would need to get a few part time jobs, or go to the dark side (underground stuff... Something that idk how to get to). So basically I'm screwed.
And then a few days later, I found a song back fom the mid 2000's. It was a song about a child dying (the song is called "Terlalu Istimewa"). It just got me thi King about how everyone's gonna go, and throughout my parents last few years, do I really want them to have to wonder what is going to happen to their failure of a daughter? I went to my parents bedroom when my mom was in it alone, and I told her the golden words she was wanting to hear for some time (I forgot what exactly I said though).
"I think I'll go back to uni"
Of course I knew what all is gonna happen. At the time I thought my grades were gonna be flopped as I definitely f'ing failed. But to my surprise, my mom said that she will call in and see when we can see the head of my course. She said they already prepared for this and that it is all going to be well.
Remember when I said my mom wanted to send me somewhere. This is where the truth is unfolded. So I was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome when I was 13 in 2012. She had sent me to a home for 2 months when I did a similar shenanigan in 2015. But it costed my family a lot so they brought me back home. Till this day I still do not quite comprehend what my syndrome is (eventhough I'm majoring in bloody psychology), and how I was diagnosed with it.
So why is this important, you may ask. Because I was literally DYING when she told me that she had "explained" to the lecturer (the head of the department is also my lecturer... And I'm getting her again next semester). I just wanted a metroid to hit earth and kill me. I don't like it when people say "oh this person has something wrong with them" and etc. I feel as if they look down on me (but not y'all on Tumblr as you dont see me in real life). When I registered to join my uni, I specifically told my mom to never, ever mention about it. In fact, I found it quite hilarious that someone like me is studying psychology.
But the fact that she has told that made me so scared. I just wanted to hide under my blankets for the rest of existence. But then again, I'm gonna turn 20 soon, so I better act my age (this year I'm turning 20... All this time I felt as if if I still had a 1 in front of my age, I was still young... But I'm now gonna turn 20, a quarter of the average human life expectancy is over 😭😭😭).
So I went in the next day and got found out that mom was ready for my lil' shitty "tantrum" and stopped me 1/2 way, so she dropped me out of the subjects instead of making me fail them for not finishing my assignments and such. She also got back some of the tuition fees. My lecturer did not judge me that much (but let's see this coming semester), and I did not bump into my group mates (we have a lot of group assignments... So yeah... I let the down a lot).
So now that all of that is out of the way, you may be wondering what happened this sam. Well, let's say I was really bloody scared during the first few days as I thought I was going to bump into my old group mates and such. That was not the case of course. Other than the librarian exclaiming that I skipped 1/2 the sam out loud to a few kids, nothing else happened. I retook the psychology subject that gave me a hard time last sam, rekindled a few friendships that drifted apart due to time, and kinda mended back my relationship with my mom.
Some of my group mates this year seemed a little tough to deal with, but hey, it ain't a group project without someone (or in my case, some people) slacking off. I had to do some spoonfeeding to some of my group mates eventhough I too was lost at some parts, but I can vow that when people say teaching others help you comprehend the topic better, it is true but can only be done if you have patience and good blood pressure.
But of course there were also some stuff that ticked me off. I would often claim myself to be a lazy, procrastinating perfectionist. This is because I'm very lazy and I always want to show the best, I mean who doesn't. So when it came to the deans list this that was mentioned earlier, I wanted to go. But for my 3rd sam, I got out of the deans list for not maintaining my cgpa. In fact I only got in due to getting a 3.52 for my cgpa (to get in you need a 3.5), so I was already ashamed for that. I did not feel as if I was worthy of it I guess. So when I came back this sam, I was determined to get back in.
But as things got tough and I say the nice GPA slipping away from me with every orang and red grade I got (not godd grades to get), I felt myself returning back tk my old ways. Sleeping late doing nothing. There was even a lime in which I skipped a class, but I lied and told mom it was cancelled. She bought the lie as usual. It was at that moment I realised that many other uni students were like me. You can see that the new students always aim for high grades but the seniors just aim to pass the subjects. I know that is a crappy attitude to have, but my sister was also able to graduate just be receiving the passing grades all the way. I realised that this is the way we need to be in order to survive. And it is not wrong.
I know if my mom were to hear me say this she would be disappointed and I k ow many of you would be saying "you need to be the best person you can be" etc. But honestly if it means breaking down like that again, then no. I do not wanna make other people worry about me and such if it means I can't always be the best so be it. If it means I would not need to always be worrying if the way my sentence could be better and such instead of "having fun" etc, then yes, I would gladly give it all up. Honestly, I feel as if going to uni has made me a different person. I felt so self-conscious and it made me feel like shit.
But I guess what I'm trying to convey is that if you feel like the world is too burdening, don't f'ing kill yourself (like some weirdos tell you to on Tumblr [srsly, you would rather get rid of porn instead of the real cancerous negative on this platform... I see that your priorities are as straight as ever Tumblr]). Instead try to find something to inspire you, or maybe if you are not a bloody social pariah like me, you may find friend to support you. And always remember, there are others who have it worst that you. So STOP BEING A F'ING CRYBABY, GET OUT FROM UNDERNEATH YOUR BLOODY COMFORTERS, AND REJOIN THE REAL World. Cos guess what, no one is gonna spoonfeed you and take care of you till the bloody end. You need to stand up for yourself cos this world is a disgusting and cruel place.
Tl/dr: I stopped going to uni, found some inspiration to go back. Then things got tough again, I stopped caring, bacame a husk of who I turned into since entering the competitive world of uni, and now I have found happiness.
