I feel you on the college quitting. I'm going back for an online program and it only lasts from January to april but I'm already nervous. I've quit college 3 times before this 😬
hey im so proud of you for trying again!!! its really scary and hard to do smth that you already know is gonna be difficult and draining but WE ARE STRONGER THAN HOMEWORK. also never forget the "Cs get degrees" creed
half ass it if you cant whole ass it
you can always lie and say your dog died for an extension
bullshit. bullshit. bullshit.
never believe the lie of "i can tell if you use wikipedia/spark notes"
not turning in anything is the enemy. if need be turn in a paper with a tittle and your name and nothing else
if you can get your professors to like you you can manipulate them
all nighters are (also) the enemy. go to sleep. nothing good happens after 3am
go to class. it doesnt matter if you have to get high and stare at the floor as long as you can be there
NUTS ARE HIGH PROTEIN AND HIGH FAT! BEST SNACKING FOOD EVER!!
treats are for when you are proud of yourself
treats are for when ur having a bad day
actual tips i have are to get a pomodoro extension on ur computer to help you focus but also give urslef breaks (i do it in blocks of 25-10 25-10 25-45) and to get sunlight on ur skin
#the hierarchy of students is:#gifted student -> over achiever -> average kid -> Cs get degrees -> burnout -> dropout#(this is a joke hierarchys are all bullshit)

"Mind stopping for a quick check before class?"
I've been rewatching Kill La Kill and remembered an old concept I had stored away from last year. That one got scrapped ages ago for being hard to write, so I started on a clean slate for this one. I think if submas were at Honnōji Academy, they'd either be engineering tech for the cable car system linked to the school or they'd work in the disciplinary committee to look after students.
I'm still roughing some details out for this but basically their job is to catch all the students who get absolutely bodied during the plot and run them back to the infirmary so they can come in the next day. When there aren't big fight scenes to deal with, they mostly just patrol the halls to check on students and make sure people aren't hurting each other during school hours. Consider them student health and welfare agents I suppose. They do straightforward work and were granted two star goku uniforms to make sure they had the speed and strength necessary to carry and treat students in a timely manner. Can't have an active student body if it takes weeks to get through patching them all, right?
Anyways I might design a powered up form for these guys later. It likely wouldn't be much different, but it'd be something light for them to operate in. No room for accessories when you're resetting bones and dressing up burns; I might consider having their hats swap out for masks and wide collars for lab coat lapels. It'd be fun to have their enforcement tools get turned into medical/surgical implements too, though that's gonna take some testing.
Bonus time: someone asked for oil. Do not oil them.
Have a good day.

They just help out in the infirmary and with monitoring

They could've been the best mother-son duo like (after Nagi-Junpei of course).

Neither of them will get better, in fact Junpei will be 100 times worse and will still die.
But imagine if Geto somehow lived through JJK0, kept the cult running, and Junpei joined him(I love my son but he's the perfect target for a cult). It's the battle of the exes between Gojo and Geto with their sopping wet cat sons they picked up off the streets(who are also into each other)
#itajun#junita#satosugu#yoshino junpei#geto suguru#jjk#i've seen SO MANY people hc Junpei with NanaMimi and Geto and like- YES#YES#Apparently Junpei straight up classifies people based on hierarchies a little#except he's on the lowest level of the totem pole and got to climb higher#meeting geto who'll validate him and his powers would be like discovering god for him#idk how he'd escape Mahito but let's PRETEND PEOPLE#truly the teacher-student duo that never could be#junpei tells geto life is meaningless and geto starts preaching about destroying every human ever as the solution

I’d like to think that at least 20% of Tsukasa’s irritation with the 1-2 oddball finish reputation comes from the fact that he’s known as “the loud one of the 2” despite frequently shouting his self introduction. but he would never admit this because it sounds egotistical (even to him). I also think that rui is very fond of the nickname not just because it annoys tsukasa but because it also ties him to tsukasa and is a constant reminder that his school life has changed.
#+ I think if tsukasa figured that last part out it would be hell for him because now he can’t rail against the nickname.#as always if it makes rui happy he will cave.#mine#Maslows hierarchy of needs but it’s just Kamiyama student opinions of ruikasa. I eat that shit up.

the rosier twins would've loved the gruesome parts of classic fairy tales, all the gore and guts, but also the beauty of it. the neat ending with a moral they think they're above listening to, the eloquent prose, the naive characters. they'd laugh and act like they wouldn't be tempted by the same things that tempt the main characters of the stories, when in reality their curiosity and yearning for knowledge would be the death of them if they weren't raised in such a secluded mansion.

Do you all think that Normals yearbook club that recapped the yearbooks of the past just covered what was in the book or was he trying to get the extra drama too by consulting PPL who were in highschool that year and reading b/w the lines?
Then I would have died to join the club because it would be so entertaining.
Do you think he would have covered the last year's yearbook every year as a back to school special so new kids wouldn't feel like an outsider? And to find good parts of school where he wasn't shunned?
He would redo the last year one everytime a new kid joined mid-year?
Do you think he has done yearbook recaps of the years the kiddads were in highschool and interrogated each of them and their classmates (except Nicky, maybe he got Nickys scoop later but idk if he covered what he got from him in the club). So he knows way too much about their mundane shenanigans and that makes them uncomfy in a way idk

That made me think, like, what if Fem!Yuu was crossdressing as a boy because she thinks in an all-boys school she would get bullied or even made fun of for just being a girl (internalized misogyny because of a bad upbringing), but surprisingly the ones who find out treat her well, and that gets her emotional.
Yeah now she doesn't want to return to her world because at least she get treated as decent human here.
NO I GET THIS. you may get treated like shit in this world but at least you're equal shit!!! if I had the choice between that and living in this hellscape...
I also think crossdressing fem!yuu is a fairly popular headcanon. I think a lot of girls would prefer to hide their identities for safety/security/confidence etc
#*ੈ✩‧₊˚asks!#especially if they're the same age/younger than the main cast yk#I think older yuus would have some advantage because they'd be less likely to be approached#nrc students seem to have a thing about age hierarchy

Recently watched hierarchy(the kdrama) and I think it would have been much less dissapointing if the writer's realised they were writing a story about Jae-i finding herself, not Kang Ha's revenge. Most if not all storylines revolve around her. Like, I'm pretty sure that from the third episode and onwards we barely see Kang Ha.
#hierarchy#kdrama#I watched it all in one day#when I made it to the final episodes I was like#????#Idk it had some interesting parts#but the fact we had to sympathise with the rich kids...#And the fact that the bullying just stopped#so easily#Also don't get me started on that teacher-student relationship#Everything just felt kind of weird and out of touch

There's no way to move forward without a reform of the education system but they need to start in city schools bc I (who went to a rural less-than-20-students-total school for the 1st 8 years) am more well adjusted than all of my classmates combined and that's saying something. Considering how I don't even think I'm real and all.
#they act like literal children and reject everyone that doesn't conform to their norma#they believe in a “us vs them” mentality when it comes to everyone#for example teachers and students#our class vs our parallel classes#our year vs the year younger than us#our school vs the other schools#the “normal” people vs the annoying/weird people (aka my friendgroup)#they believe so desperately in a social hierarchy and that being at the top could benefit them somehow#it's very... illogical and superstitious#that's the word. superstitious. like you'll become lesser than if you break the made up rules. if you dare see a teacher as human or deem#people other than the members of your in-group as “normal”#it's all bullshit and counterproductive#everyone is human always so let's not get weird about it

famously i never say violent things on the hyperbolic bitching and moaning website but i seriously do think my broadcasting professor should kill herself violently in front of me so sorry girl. the only reason id retract that a little bit is to be like well u r a woman at a shitty university and she has been nice to me at points and been cool a couple times but idrc
#abby talks#first of all. bitchy to give me one point below 50% for that stupid ass video i had to have sam help me with#im not even reading all of the feedback i do not care.#i just wish she could be serious for two seconds. i am a senior i apologize that BROADCASTING 1 is nowhere near my top priority#and unfortunately i have to form a hierarchy of priorities and sometimes the trickle down takes a while. and like.#i do not need to prove my ability to make a video or write any kind of script or whatever in the same way younger students do.#sorry! and ok whatever classes have the right to have late policies and i have to be a conscientious student but like#ohhhhhhhhh my god your honor who cares like fr who cares.

fighting tooth and nail to get through netflix's hierarchy, the most compelling narrative element onscreen is choi yunseok (kim taejung) being caked up Like That for no gotdamb reason. yeah the emotional thrulines are not giving but you know what is? that ass. his card tricks ain't the only magic bout that boy can i hear a little commotion!!
#netflix hierarchy#kdrama#kim tae jung#김태정#also#i'm on the second to last episode and his sleight of hand has not been relevant beyond a ~menacing~ card spring#and like the drug dealing but that's w/e#it's just a very funny skill for the brute squad character to have#but anyways that 25yr old man is busting the seams of those schoolboy slacks and is fooling exactly nobody as a high school student

this man chose the worst person to talk about competitiveness with lmao
#do you think i care??? do you think i believe some deserve better than others??? that there's some sort of hierarchy in everything??? that+#we should be wary when people around us ask us for help???that cooperating is secondary???? that we are tools first and then people????#you're absolutely wrong and the reason I find it hard to talk to/get close to many other students#if you aint gonna talk to me as a person but as whatever im studying and/or the marks i get on it. get out#getting annoyed at this atp#tw vent#how can this be so common istg#how can people rush this much to isolate others and do so with such- ugh#ive seen too much#*puts down glasses* ive seen enough#when i tell you even a therapist was surprised at the things ive wtinessed/experienced on this lmao#idc + everyone deserves care and the chance + a mark says nothing about how that person actually is + be more mindful +#everyone in here are humans

Something that's really hitting me while I work on this edit is how Wilhelm just... doesn't have many close friends. Especially during season three. He hardly speaks with anyone that isn't Felice, Simon or the Royal Court. His constant scandals (regardless of if they're his fault, because it only matters if they think it's his fault) make it impossible for people to want to be close with him, since they don't want to go down with him. Combined with his general dislike of being a public figure he ends up with very few people he can rely on outside of his boyfriend and his best friend. If either of those relationships hit turmoil (which they do) he has nobody.
#my only hope is removing himself from the crown means he makes more friends#also yes he has like Walter and Henry and shit but they're not close to him at all#plus they (like most students there tbh) put the hierarchy thing above friendship enough to probably be a risk to Wilhelm's security lowkey#like they're a bunch of gossips at that school#anyway pray for me finding Wilhelm happily interacting with someone other than Simon in s3 bc I need that scene#ellieoughposting#this probably isn't that coherent im on pain killers etc

Honestly, I am pretty frustrated by the "haha why would anyone hate ace people" responses to Rowling's tweet.
Don't get me wrong, the support is nice. But if you want to be an ally, you have to do so on our terms, not yours. And that means actually engaging with the aspec community, not just posting positivity every now and again. And what those responses highlight to me is what I've known for a while; you guys only support aspec people when it's easy and convenient.
It's easy to support aspec people when it's J.K. Rowling being awful again. It's easy to support us when it's just reblogging an "aspec people are queer" post.
But what about when we are talking about amatonormativity and the relationship hierarchy? When we are discussing the enforcement of compulsory sexuality? When we are pushing for greater awareness and support for aspec identities that are not asexuality or aromanticism? When we are criticizing terminology that you use but harms us? Because I can tell you right now, I rarely see allo people engage with those posts.
Why do people hate asexuality (or any other aspec identity)? Because it challenges the societal norms that benefit them. And that is uncomfortable and scary. So they turn to hate and oppression in order to assure that the changes we push by just openly existing never happen.
That means that to be a good aspec ally, you can't just make a positivity post every now and again, and you can't just laugh about how stupid aphobes are. You have to openly challenge the societal norms that harm us, even if they benefit you. Including but not limited to:
The idea that romantic and sexual attraction is the default state of being (amatonormativity)
The idea that a romantic, sexual relationship completes a person
People in marriages receiving special privileges and benefits
The idea that platonic, familial, etc. attraction are default states of being
The idea that not feeling some form of attraction must be compensated for through another form of attraction
The idea that love (not just romantic) is inherently morally good, while not feeling love is inherently a moral failing
The idea that any one form of relationship is inherently more important or deeper than any other (relationship hierarchy)
The idea that any one thing makes someone human
The idea that not having sex is shameful or infantile
The idea that having sex without romantic love is callous
Gendered divides of sexual and romantic attraction
Other aspec people please feel free to add on/challenge any of this. Allo (not aspec) people please feel free to ask questions.

“[X] should be run more like a business”
No, no it shouldn’t. “Run like a business” is shorthand for “cuts corners, preys on consumers, and rewards those who do the most work with the least compensation.”
Schools should not be run like businesses, they should be run like schools — focused on educating students, not making money for shareholders or forcing employees to become de facto customer service agents
Government should not be run like a business, it should be run like a government — spending every last dime it pulls in for the sake of protecting its citizenry and making society more beneficial for all
Businesses shouldn’t even be run like businesses — they should be focused on providing a useful product or service and compensating those that provide that product or service fairly for the work they put in.
I don’t want jack shit run like a business, I want our society to be run like a fucking society. If you want society run like a business, that just tells me where in the business hierarchy you see yourself — the part that does not belong to a healthy society
