Ok so I love the comic The Prince of Southland on webtoon and I’m going crazy rn bc I’m reading a book called Fake It Till You Bake It and the male love interest’s name is Donovan Dell and rule 39 is there’s no such thing as a coincidence so I’m currently freaking out for no reason :)

okay so I've been binging CSI: Vegas, because I used to watch a ton of CSI as a kid, and it's alright background television but I keep thinking of it as worse NCIS: Hawai'i. I swear I'm not just saying this because NCIS has Lucy/Whistler. Like,

both shows are 2021 spinoffs of long-running CBS procedurals

whose original shows had lily-white main casts but are now clearly trying to be more diverse

boss lady is a woman of color everyone respects and thinks is a badass, she's divorced with at least one kid

there's an asian woman who is the friendly, spunky one, relatively newer while still being on the A-team

more senior white dude agent who is tight with boss lady

unfortunately, csi is a sequel, and is weighed down by its legacy characters (who I mostly like! Grissom was a childhood fave, and I like listening to Sara's accent), and has 10-12 episode seasons which is a hard spot for a procedural. insufficient to care about the newbie's personal drama while dealing with OGs' as well.

....also no Kai with good shirts and T-shirts. No one on NCIS: Vegas has good fashion. No one.

Scorpio moon—Channels their pain into acting. May play obscene roles with hatred, terror, sadness. Betrayal. These signs are great at channeling their past into their work because their body remembers it all. Great at scenes of sobbing from the depths of their soul. Great at action movies, thriller, psychological thriller.

Pisces degrees, pisces placements, pisces-venus asp- Love for music and film industry. Mostly into aesthetics and atmospheric films. Focuses more on creating mood and setting the environment. Loves to capture scenes of utter rawness and chaos. Yet it’s romanticized, they have a poetic way of acting.

Pisces also has an idol they look up to and take a lot of inspiration from them!

Gemini placements—Great at analyzing moments and scenes to deliver a great performance. Some Gemini’s go on to play roles involving a government, FBI, NCIS, CIA, etc. Mostly men are into calculated, pressurized roles such as playing a single father, Agent, cop, firefighter. Gemini women also tend to do the same, they play roles in which it describes an “alter ego,” “hidden” persona, like Natalie Portman in Black Swan. That film falls under psychology horror. So, it's official: NCIS: Tony and Ziva is coming in September, which is only a few short weeks away!! Seriously… it'll fly by in the blink of an eye!

If you've been here for a while, you'll know that I'm a long-time Tiva lover, and this is the most excited for anything I have ever been, for obvious reasons!

But it recently dawned on me that there are people out there who may only be meeting Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David for the first time through the spinoff trailer, and wanting to watch the show because it looks awesome! (I wholeheartedly agree!)

Of course, this is a couple that spanned 8 years on NCIS, and over 190 episodes. That's a whole lot of television! While it is possible to watch all of them before the show premieres in August – and I would highly recommend it, as there's so many small moments you'd miss, and it's the best way to fully understand them –I realise that it might not be for everybody. If you only want to watch the mothership for Tiva, then you probably don't want to see most of the unnecessary filler episodes in the middle. Which is why I've made this – a breakdown of all Tiva episodes you need to watch before the spinoff comes out! (i.e things you need to see so there are very few gaps in your knowledge!) • Major Tiva episodes are highlighted in bold italics. • Anything else on the list are episodes that are recommended you watch, but which are not absolutely pivotal for you to be able to understand their story.

Perhaps I'm biased, but if you can watch all 190-odd episodes, do it. It's the best way to truly understand these two characters and their relationship (and everything they've been through). And I feel it likely that the spinoff will contain small easter eggs and references to tiny Tiva moments, so to appreciate and recognise them all, I highly recommend watching every Tiva episode in existence! <3

What he doesn’t expect is a Georgia Peach. A pretty whisp of a thing with a cobalt blue scarf tied around her throat and a smile that could light up the darkest of nights.

He’s attracted to you almost immediately. It’s the first stirring he’s had since the divorce and it catches him off guard with the intensity of it. He tries to push it away, to ignore it but that feeling, it grows the more time he spends around you.

Inside work, outside work.

He starts to heal from the wounds left by his previous marriage. He learns to laugh again, to enjoy himself. You’re still a transplant in this city and he’s a native. He spends his free time showing you all the places the tourists don’t see, the secret jazz clubs, the tucked away eateries, the hidden book shops. He lets you into his world and before he knows it you’re a part of it, an integral one.

It's when you go away to a training conference in Missouri that Dwayne realises he has a problem. The ache he feels in his chest, it’s not normal. It’s not the kind of feeling you have for someone you consider to be a friend or a colleague.

He lies awake at night wondering how you’re doing, if you’re enjoying the seminars, if you’ve met someone. That last thought drives him a little crazy so he pays close attention when you’re regaling the rest of the team with your adventures, trying to pick up on anything underneath the surface.

It’s none of his business, he reminds himself as he watches you throw your head back and laugh. But he wants to make it his business.

He tries to stay away after that, to distance himself but you pick up on it almost immediately, cornering him in the kitchen one morning when he’s half asleep making chicory.

“Did I do something wrong?” You ask him and the hurt expression on your features, it kills him.

“No it’s just me.” He says softly, leaning against the counter and sipping from his mug. “I’m out of sorts lately.”

“Maybe I can help?” You say earnestly but he shakes his head in response into your words.

“No.” He says, clasping his mug to his chest, his heart tearing itself apart within the confines of his ribcage. “No I don’t think you can.”

Kisses that burn like fire

This case was tough. Especially for you, because you lost your best friend when the F-18 Hornet jet crashed during a training flight.

It was a technical failure, as you found out. But that was only a small consolation, because you already missed him terribly.

Tony and Tim had already finished their paperwork and left, while you were still struggling with it. You just couldn't bring yourself to describe how he died.

It was already late, and everyone except you and Gibbs had already gone home.

And since you definitely needed a break, you got up and walked to the windows. You'd been standing there for a while, thinking.

Two things were going through your head: the death of your best friend and how short life could be. This is where your feelings for your boss came into play, as you had fallen madly in love with him over the course of your time on his team.

But he didn't know that and he was never meant to find out, because his rule number 12 was unavoidable.

Suddenly, you smelled the familiar scent of sawdust and soap. Gibbs. Of course. And when you looked at him, he was looking at you with that look that always saw more than you wanted to show.

"Tell me," he said shortly.

"It's fine," you replied. But his intense gaze said exactly what you had already suspected. He didn't believe a word you said.

Suddenly, you felt his hands on your shoulders, gently turning you toward him. You looked at him expectantly and cautiously. Finally, he sighed and then spoke gently: "You miss him."

Sadly, you looked away from him: "Yes."

"And you think about how short life can be." It wasn't a question from him, but a statement, which you nevertheless confirmed with a brief nod.

Then he smiled softly and said, "And you think about me and your desires."

Shocked, you looked at him with wide eyes, your heart racing. Were you that easy to read?

Gibbs laughed briefly: "Ever since we met, you've undressed me with your eyes, every time you felt unobserved."

God, that was embarrassing. You looked down, your face turned bright red and you hoped you could vanish into thin air right then and there. But you weren't so lucky. Especially since he was still holding you by your upper arms.

"You don't have to be embarrassed," Gibbs' voice suddenly whispered in your ear. His lips touched the shell of your ear, making you shiver pleasantly. His breath gently brushed against your cheek, giving you goosebumps. 

Barely audibly you begged him: "This isn't a good time for jokes."

Those words weren't meant for Gibbs, but with his super hearing he heard them anyway.

He carefully took your chin in his hand and turned your head back to him. Your eyes met. His gaze revealed a thousand emotions and captivated you.

"I wasn't joking and I can prove it," he assured you quietly. Always holding your gaze with his he slowly approached you. Then he closed his eyes and what happened next was beyond your imagination.

Because he gently pressed a kiss to your lips, as if asking for permission. You could hardly believe that this rough, tough guy could be so gentle and careful.

When your lips touched tenderly for the first time, both of your hearts skipped a beat, only to immediately burst into flames.

You closed your eyes and since you didn't resist, Jethro pulled you closer and placed his lips fully on yours. But faster than either of you wanted, he ended the kiss and moved back a little, breathing heavily.

His burning, questioning and almost pleading gaze took your breath away.

"I know it's wrong and has no future, but I love you. Ever since we first met," you blurted out.

Jethro's pupils dilated. Could it really be that someone as fascinating as you was interested in him? He cautiously asked:

"And what do you want to hear from me now, Y/N? That I feel the same way?"

His question unsettled you and you had to swallow hard. You began to tremble and sweat, afraid of his reaction and your voice was barely a whisper as you replied, "It would be very nice, but I know it's just a beautiful dream."

There was silence for a moment.

Then he said, "Maybe it's wrong. But it wouldn't be a lie."

He chuckled, "You know. There are kisses that burn like fire because they change everything. But I can't help it."

Then he kissed you, but it wasn't a gentle and cautious kiss, not a tentative “what if.”

It was a kiss that carried weeks of suppressed thoughts, glances, touches. Hot, intense, almost furious.

You didn't know how long you stood there, only that nothing was the same anymore. The world, time, your thoughts. There were only you two.

Your lips and tongues seemed to be forever inseparable fused together and if you didn't stop soon, the flames would consume you. And that wouldn't be a good idea in the middle of the office.

You both felt like you were burning, yet you couldn't separate. And when you finally pulled away, he looked at you as if he still couldn't believe what had happened.

You looked at each other, completely out of breath, like after a marathon. Your arms were still wrapped around each other, but slowly your minds was switching back on.

Or not, because it was finally on hiatus and your hearts were taking over.

"You'll regret this tomorrow morning," you finally realized sadly.

But Jethro shook his head. "No. Never. But I'll think about what it means."

You nodded, because you assumed your fairytale, in which you would finally get your dream man, was finally over. The worst part was that you now knew what you were missing out on and what you could never have.

"What do we do now?" you asked him while you still felt his kiss like embers on your lips. It wasn't too late. Everything was still possible.

Maybe there was still hope for both of you. But you knew there was no turning back. You had confessed your feelings to him, and now it was up to him what would come of it. If anything. Because thanks to rule number 12, he would certainly make sure you were transferred to another team.

But Leroy Jethro Gibbs rarely did what was expected of him.

"I've wanted you since the first time I saw you," he confessed.

"And now that I know you feel the same way..." He paused to kiss you deeply again and then continued, "...I'll never let you go again."

Police Procedural (like CSI, NCIS, or Criminal Minds) starring the Coruscant Guard.

Fox is the lead detective, by virtue of being the oldest brothers.

The main investigators are: Fox, Thorn, Stone, Thire, and Hound.

Fox is a damn good investigator, but he's sleep deprived 80% of the time. He keeps telling his brothers he's going to retire to someplace tropical and live on a boat, but they all know he won't do it. He hates the ocean.

Fox's side plot is that he's in the middle of planning his wedding, but his fiancee is cheating on him with her ex from high school, and he has a meet cute with a local dancer who is encouraging him to break up with her before he ruins his life. (Look, these shows are dramatic, I don't make the rules.)

Thorn is a former law student turned investigator. He's easy to talk to, so he's the one sent to talk to victims, especially when the victims are young.

His long-term side story involves his batchmates trying to get him back into law school. And he has to keep insisting that it's not what he planned, but he's happy working with Fox.

Stone is a career military man who lost his arm in an explosion and was medically discharged. Fox offered him a job, and Stone jumped at the chance. He rarely investigates in person, but he always knows the right person to help him get the answers he needs.

Stone's long-term side plot involves him going to therapy for PTSD, as well as running a support group for people in similar positions.

Thire is the baby of the group, a college grad who is slowly working on a Master's in criminology. Fox had to fight to allow Thire to work under him, and he's personally mentoring Thire.

Thire's personal story revolves around his relationship with his best friend, who works as an aide to the County Medical Examiner. His story is about him realizing that he's falling in love with his best friend.

And finally, there's Hound, who heads up K9 division of the Investigative team. He and Grizzer are usually only called in for search and rescue operations.

Hound's personal plot line revolves around Grizzer and his relationship with another member of the search and rescue squad, they start off dating but slowly come to realize that they're better off as friends.

1. Parker and Hardison - Leverage

The absolute sweetest couple maybe ever. The way Hardison just... loves Parker, without ultimatums or impatience. Just there once she's ready to meet his feelings with her own. And Parker, knowing she's developed feelings for... 'pretzels' and admitting it in the only way she can initially. So good.

You give me two amoral queens, have them be evil and immortal, and have them fall in love? I was a goner from the word go. Giving them a sci-fi kid just added fuel to the fire.

Talk about ripping out my heart. In a story built around two people more trapped by fate than anyone, they save each other by doing the one thing fate has no say over.

(I usually prefer my romances to be the B and C plots, but these two? They are the exception that proves the rule. This whole show is their love story and I was spellbound for 36 episodes straight).

So. Much. Pining. And the inclusion of the cruelest 'I love you' known to man, because who doesn't love a good 'I've been shot, and the guy who shot me just let me call my girlfriend but I'm using the call to give out clues about how to find me, so I'm pretending you're Abigail, but he's listening and he wants me to tell you that I love you and I know... think... suspect... that saying it will hurt you, but I don't have a choice and I'm so sorry'.

They both know what it feels like to lose someone you love. Which is why the way them kinda having at least a scene a season where one of them thinks the other just got killed is brutal. But I live for the looks on their faces when they figure out they're wrong.

A new family is moving in to the Netflix neighborhood — and this one’s got secrets.

The streamer has set a Thursday, June 19 release date for The Waterfront, a new drama series from Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek, The Vampire Diaries) about the Buckleys, a prominent North Carolina family who has ruled over their local fishing and restaurant scenes for decades.

“But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley recovers from two heart attacks,” the official logline warns, “and his wife Belle and son Cane venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat. As their attempts spiral out of control and into treacherous waters, Harlan steps back in to take command.”

And that’s just the business side of things. “Facing her own demons, Buckley daughter Bree — an addict in recovery who’s lost custody of her son — finds herself entangled in a complicated relationship that could threaten the family’s future forever,” the logline continues.

Holt McCallany (Mindhunter) stars as Harlan Buckley, along with Maria Bello (NCIS) as wife Belle, Jake Weary (Animal Kingdom) as son Cane and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) as daughter Bree.
