Whoopsie I haven't posted here in a while. Sorry, recently my cat passed away so I took some personal time to mourn him and I feel better now. I haven't drawn in a good while because of that and how I've been feeling drain after work UvU but I'm determined to get back to it. For 5:

The things I most associate with Orph are —

The colors green (both a deep phthalo and that of verdant grass), purple (a dusty, antiquated mauve), and gold (like the sun!)

Motifs of vines, taut strings, close ups of hands and/or poised fingers, streams of light cutting through the dark, and tabletops littered with worn sheet music

The sounds of string instruments (most obvious candidates being lyres/harps and things in the guitar family), birdsong and mourning dove cooing, the scratch of writing, and melodic whistling

The smell of old paper, Egyptian musk, lit candles, and the tang of metal

Madonna lilies, the texture of calloused fingertips, the taste of lipstick

Orph associates the following with me —

Various shades of green and blue (ranging from minty shades, pthalo as well, and deep azure), muted red, and charcoal

Motifs of wings, ink/paint stained skin or clothes, tousled bedsheets, frenzied artistry and sleepless nights, and death (or the fascination with the concept of)

The sounds of rustling pages, the scribble of a reed pen, small footsteps, and the cawing of crows

The scent and taste of mint, obviously UvU as well as lemon, oil paint, and incense

Larkspur, the heaviness that accompanies not wanting to get out of bed, weasels

For 7.

I've been so undecided as to whether Orph can actually dance fnhfmfb like it'd be really silly cutie if he couldn't but also what an absolute travesty.......I feel like it was something he would've done with much more wild abandon during living performances, and hasn't had the heart to consider remotely as a shade. Regardless of if he can or not, he oft deferred to Eurydice for it anyway, naturally so...like yes please partake in my music but look at my lady, see how she moves to it, are you looking at her yet

Nowadays with Minthe, it's not something he expects of them considering they don't seem much like the type to, but I think it can be an exceptionally rare treat for him. They'd be much more apt to do it in a public setting if they could dance With him amongst a crowd of others, but he's the one always Providing the music, and they wouldn't dream of making it into a Performance of some kind.....it's simply not their vibe. But were he to supply a bit of background music for them to paint to while they're sharing in each other's privacy, I think they'd deign to dance for him and him alone...

Same thing can be said for their singing; they're decently serviceable at it, can err on the side of "goodish" if their voice happens to be in the right condition at the time, but there's no way they'd make a point of actively singing With him. He usually catches em doing it unthinkingly when they're deep in their work, and he's Thoroughly endeared by it...sometimes pushes his luck by sneaking in a few plucks and strums to see if they'll continue as he plays, or even more mortifying for them if he'll offer up his voice to join theirs...

For 3.

Another in a long line of things I'm undecided about...would I marry Orpheus. Hum, hum, hum......I feel like it's not anything that Minthe is actively gunning for, they like the nature of their union being so Entwined without the whole big To-do of marriage. Orph feels similarly, but there's that nagging little feeling in the back of his head like......ohh...wouldn't it be so cool to call them your spouse............

If they were to marry, it'd be for the simple little pleasure of getting to Say that he's their husband; he'd be the one to ask much later down the line, and it'd be done in a very quiet and unassuming manner...no big surprises or declarations or anything like that since it'd only make Minthe skittish. Just a humble little note of thoughtfulness in his tone like "in the long, long time we've known each other, we've been friends and collaborators and lovers and partners...what say you to adding 'spouses' to the mix, eh" and they just look up from their work with a quirked brow......huh......it has a certain ring to it, now doesn't it.......
