It’s Day 364 of the Windy Wessagussett Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the SW at 5mph with gusts 9mph. The temperature was 42°, and felt like was 37°. I used the Light Periwinkle color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the wind was out of the SW. I knit in garter stitch to show the wind was blowing at 5mph. It was a dreary day in Wessagusset, starting out fogged in, and by this afternoon the fog began to lift which led to an awesome photo of Peddocks Island floating on the fog. Living on thecoast has some surprising picture opportunities on occasion. It rained most of the day, and has continued into the night. It will continue until 5am or so, before we get some clearing around noon. It will be shirt liv d with more rain moving in overnight again. We are going to be pretty soggy, including New Year’s Eve. It will out a real damper on the festivities in Boston, and raise havoc with the ice sculptures. There’s no sense lamenting what you can’t control. We lost Jimmy Carter today. I always admired all that he did for the least of us, and how he lived his life. It’s a sad day for this country he loved so much. We lost Jimmy Carter today - a perfect example of how we should live. Be safe out there.
