I DO I LOVE HIM SO MUCH (I want him to get animated ASAP). 

He’s probably in his zebra disguise when you first meet. I wouldn’t doubt that he’s doing some sort of investigation into the school 

Happens to pass by the art section of the school, and your artwork catches his eye. 

He ends up finishing what he was doing and swings back by the artwork to try and track down the artist. His curiosity gets the better of him

Ends up liking the artwork so much he asks your professor if it’s alright if he commissions you for a piece, or buy the artwork that’s already being displayed

It’s not until he buys at least three pieces that he meets you in person, and he’s honestly...a bit shocked and a bit unnerved that you’re a carnivore. He tries to hide it though, and does really well. 

Doesn’t want to be rude and still ends up getting art from you...just less frequently. Eventually you confront him and ask if you’ve done something wrong. He just says he’s running out of room for artwork. Ironically you see through his shit, you don’t need 350 degree vision to know that you being, well, you made this jerk zebra change his interest in your work

You somehow manage to make him agree to coffee (or tea) to discuss what’s going on. 

You end up talking for longer than he expected, and he finds he enjoys your company. It’s funny, the idea of who you were based on your work didn’t change to much after meeting you, but now he knows your name and face...and that you’re a carnivore. 

You guys go out for more coffee/tea every now and again. It’s a slow friendship before it becomes anything else. Yafya is emotionally constipated, and it takes quite a few months before he really begins to understand he’s caught some feelings. Then he panics.

It’s not you, it’s 100% him. 

Once he does grapple with his feelings is when he tells you who he really is, but doesn’t admit anything else. Again, he’s an mess emotionally. Trusting and then having that trust broken by Gosha has made him really self conscious about putting himself out there

It takes until the next year of you being in school before he tells you how he feels. Please be gentle with him. He acts like a big bad Beastar, but he’s emotionally vulnerable

Once you two start going out, he’s a supporter of your work. Whatever medium you work on, he gets you what you need. You may have to tell him to cut back, he may try to compensate his lack of emotional availability by gift giving. He’s trying.

Since you’re a younger carnivore, he’ll want to spar with you. If you’re not used to it, he’ll train you. Just because you’re a carnivore, doesn’t mean he doesn’t worry about you being at the university late. 

He asks questions about your artwork, what inspires you and such. If you have a deadline to meet, he’ll support you with food or coffee/tea/ect

Kind of overprotective of you. He wont admit it but he’s worried you’ll leave him for someone else, or get hurts because of your association 

Hug him. He’s so touched starved that he really needs it every now and again

Lay his head on your lap when his legs hurt. 

If you do digital artwork and you’re not self conscious, he’d love to watch you draw. It relaxes him so he can sleep easier. He also just sleeps easier in general since he knows you have his back

“Who’s the prettiest boy and girl?” Your voice was hearable over the whole staircase. The two snow-white dogs wagged their tails excessively, as the sniffed your hands before you brushed over their fur equally at the same time. “Yeah, that’s right,” you purred. “You are. Yes, yes.” Your baby voice was sickening to everyone who heard it, though you thought there was no one around to listen in on you as you tended to the dogs.

There was no measurement to describe the love you had for Melchior and Mercedes. Ever since you came to the palace you had gotten lost in their soft fur and curious eyes. You couldn’t see why others thought them to be vicious animals when all they ever did was giving you kisses and demanding pats from you.

You heard the clacking of boots, descending the stairs from above and even though you knew it was Lucio by the sound of him clearing his throat, you didn’t look up. But the animals' eyes shot into his direction for a split second before focusing back on you, seemingly more happy than they were before.

“[Name], I was hoping you’d come upstairs to see me. But I see you were held back by my vicious guards,” Lucio announced, waiting for you to give him the attention he demanded from everyone in his grasp. “Nu-uh,” you giggled, letting your cheek being smooched by Mercedes’s snout. “I came for the dogs,” you explained, laughing as they both inched closer.

“Of course, you’d- Wait, what?” you heard Lucio say disbelievingly.

You laughed louder, getting up from your crouched position, and carefully passing the two excited dogs. The count was already sulking, crossing his arms in front of his chest and watching you with a fiery gaze. “Ah, come on, Lucio. You know I am here for you,” you purred, settling a few steps below him and wrapping your arms around his hips so that your head could conveniently rest on his crossed arms.

He gave an unsatisfied grunt and turned his head away, pouting. Tightening your grip around him, you let go with one arm to rub your hand affectionately over his back. “Pat me, Darling,” you mumbled, kissing a few times on top of his still human arm. He was weak to your pleads, and you knew him too well to not get advantage of that.

His pout turned into a blush at the sound of a pet name, and he clicked your tongue as he finally looked down on you. Opening his arms, he brushed his metal left over your head, being very careful to not accidentally hurt you with the claws. You closed in the distance to his chest, sighing against his shirt contently.

“You know, Lucio,” you started after a while of him affectionately returning your hug and tending to your wish. “Instead of being jealous of the dogs, we could just take a walk all together.” Finishing your sentence you duck out of his grasp, hearing a dramatic gasp escape his lips, and quickly ran down the stairs.

“Me? Jealous? Of the dogs?” Lucio shrieked, taking two steps at once while descending after you.

“You two heard him, come on, we are going on a walk,” you animated the dogs, following them with loud laughs as they took off running down the hallways, Lucio right behind you. You didn’t mind him catching up, holding you back by the arm while you laughed. Even before he could start a heated argument with you, you caught his lips in a kiss, not letting him back away, but instead kissing him for so long until he gave in.

Letting go of him finally, he had calmed down and you took his hand to tug him along as you two went after the dogs, going for a much appreciate walk and some alone time for you.

Hinooooo I miss him so 😢😢😢 and the way the colored Agatha like ??? Why? The only one I liked was Free and Ibuki to some degree but yeah the manga shishigumi is superior in every way

If they don’t introduce Hino and Sabu like they’re as badass as they actually are I’ma be sad

They somehow made Agata extra light?? He’s meant to be a darker color, it kinda becomes a huge deal in the manga later on so I was disappointed and sad

Couldn't agree more Pina was probably one of the only characters I was completely satisfied with I also miss some of the stuff they cut out like at the beginning of the season when Louis walks out of the school and the shishigumi are waiting for him I thought that reveal was EPIC and was very sad they cut it I also miss the scene where Legoshi borrows Gouhins ex wife clothes and he says "do I look like your wife" I laughed out loud then Also all the scrapped -

I FORGOT ABOU THAT OH BOY THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO COOL!! The drama kid in him would have really been in the spot light. Why they gotta let me down with my bois?

I DO HAVE A THEORY ABOUT GOSHA THOUGH!

I think maybe they’re trying to rearrange Gosha’s story. In the manga it’s implied/told he was a soldier (chapter 85), and that doesn’t fit in with the story told later on. In the story he goes from high school (dropped out maybe?) to be with Toki, then a dad to Leano, then a grandpa to Legoshi. I think they’re trying to get his timeline down better. Gosha being a soldier could work, but that would mean he’d be technically a child soldier, since there is nothing in his character that leads me to believe he would abandon Leano to fight in a war that is NOT happening (it happened years prior). I’m HOPING the flashback will come with teaser of Gosha later on, maybe they’re decided to do a big reveal down the road and have it be like BAM! Gosha. I’m hoping. The flashback with Jack could be added in technically at any point? Maybe when Legoshi moves out and everyone visits, Jack would have a flashback at the point to the awkward boi who is now living on his own, but who knows? 

I think part of what they struggle with is the fact Paru has the Dragon Ball problem. She starts storylines or has ideas and many of them seem forgotten or dropped later on (poor Kyuu, so much potential). Sometimes it feels like she straight up forgot about them??  It feels very similar to how the writer of Dragon Ball, who has admittedly forgotten parts of his own story, frequently retcons or adjusts his story to go with whatever plot comes to mind. It’s messy and leads to a lot of speculation, and I think the animation studio is struggling with that.

I’m really hoping they don’t ruin Yahya/Yafya. He’s one of my favorites of the series (ties with Free, my absolute fave). I don’t see how they could, outside making him a bigger butthole than he already is or making him seem emotionless (which is how he comes off, but his inner thoughts and pained expressions let we as the readers know better). I’m worried about that part. 

Part of the fun of Beastars is the WORLD BUILDING for me. There is so much depth and thought put into it, the second season has me worried they wont show everything Paru has put into it. 

I AM really glad Pina got more spotlight. He was really well done and I really enjoyed him. I think I may actually like him more thanks to the anime, which isn’t something I could say for a lot of the cast

I need to read the manga again, it’s been a while
