What if, as a child, he mind-controlled the world into thinking nothing is serious, and that nothing has consequences, and as a result nobody's trauma is taken seriously?

As a teenager he's starting to realise his mistake and is half-heartedly fighting against this, which is why he's always the one to comment on how weird or extreme something is when nobody else seems to notice.

But it's too late, and he knows it. He can never undo his mind-control, and his world will always be a silly gag-anime where nothing serious is ever addressed.

This isn't the first time someone's said it, but I think it needs to be said again. STOP harassing people for the fandoms they are a part of.

I have been told to k!ll myself by someone for being a part of The Coffin Of Andy and LeyLey fandom and several other people have been called degenerates and sent death threats for liking the game. I have been insulted for liking Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and so have many fans. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Of course there are some exceptions and that much is obvious.

As you probably know, I am a BIG fan of Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal. I've seen posts of people calling fans of this show degenerates, idiots, people with no taste, snowflakes, etc.

It's horrible, really. GOD FORBID some people are in a fandom that you aren't. I'm not saying that some fandoms OVERALL are bad, but singling out a person who says they like My Hero Academia or The Amazing Digital Circus JUST BECAUSE of the fandom, is ridiculous.

No one deserves to be sent death threats and insults because of an interest.

I know it's really strange but I am okay with all sorts of depraved things (in fiction) but the moment it's teacher-student, I just immediately slam the eject button. Just an incredibly visceral reaction to any teacher-student relationships.

And people are shocked because I don't mind reading things like cannibalism, rape, torture, etc (which to them is less palatable?) But there really is something about teacher-student that immediately takes me out.
