One of the things that irritates me when I watch restaurant feature shows from other countries is *how much cheaper* it is to eat out in other countries. Like, Canada seems the same as the US until you factor in that the CAD is valued lower on the market than the USD. My last visit to Hong Kong three of us ate well at random mall food court shops for the equivalent of USD5. And yeah, the froufrou fine dining was similarly priced to here but the everyday grab a bite places were dirt cheap. Watching the Udonsoba channel on YouTube and every last place is selling a full donburi meal for USD7. A kebab in the UK last I was there cost USD5 and was more food than a Big Mac meal, we all chuckle at that "Wigan 3 Course Meal" video but the prices are so low the whole thing cost the guy like USD7.

I can only think of one place where a full meal costs USD7 or less and its because the place is a quick service diner that gets you out in less than 20min and is meant to keep you in the casino, and it was still less food than he got.

And when you look at how much food we produce within our own country vs how much of what other countries use that they buy from us (like US rice in Japan), it is insane we pay so much for food. Not just eating out but at the grocery store.

And its even worse when you see how badly the farm workers, and many farmers, live and how little they are paid. Or hear about how much overproduction of milk we have that we have cheese caves to "use it up" but the price of milk and cheese is still so high at the grocery stores and kids are being forced to buy it at school to incur child debt.

And I know all the whys of it, which just irritates me so much more.

An apparently unpopular opinion: disabled people can have and do their hobbies. They deserve to have fun. They deserve to live their lives.

Their inability to do some things (like work, for example) does not mean they should be judged for… idk hanging out with their friends or to going outside. After all, having interests outside of work is often essential to our mental and physical health OUTSIDE of our disability.

And also *you might want to sit down for this* disabled people know what’s disabling for them (unless they people-please or push through due to necessity or survival of some sort). Disabilities don’t have to be visible or persistent to be disabling.

So yeah - my declaration: if an activity you want to do feels good and you’re able to do it, then do it. REGARDLESS OF YOUR DISABILITY WITH OTHER THINGS.

Both Colin and Edwina- in their situations- felt betrayed by someone they love.

Kate lied to Edwina TWICE; once about the Sheffield inheritance and the second time and the second time about having feelings for Anthony. When she called Kate her “half sister”, she felt in that moment.. that not only could she no longer count on Kate to be honest with her but that everything she ever told her was a lie.

Penelope lied to Colin about her being Lady Whistledown. When he accused Penelope of entrapping him, not only did he felt like everything she ever told him was a lie, but more important than that.. he felt as if history was repeating itself (which makes what he said a trauma response)- given what happened with Marina and her planning to trick him into a loveless marriage and to seduce him.. thereby making him believe that he got her pregnant.

Also, the reason why I say that Colin has been villainized for something he said out of anger is because it took some fans TWO YEARS to forgive him for his “I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington” comment at the end of season 2 (some of those people went so far as to verbally harass Luke over it)!!

Conclusion: Despite them being in very different situations and at different points in their lives, Colin and Edwina had every right to feel as angry as they were even though they were never known to put their anger out on display- which is why them saying what they said out of anger seemed so “out of character”. But when those people make Colin and Edwina out to be the bad guys, they were saying that as if they themselves have never said anything out of anger to someone they love- which is a part of being human.

It will never not be upsetting yet hilarious to me that Eli Shane is 15.

I mean, seriously, this kid spends an entire year, just fighting in Slugterra, he's been betrayed on several occasions, like he straight up let's Twist and Tad in his home, calls them his friends and they stab him in the back.

Is either being compared to his dad, or blamed for things his dad did.

Is probably dealing with the dilemma that his father is a murderer, as we still don't know what exactly happened to Tom Por or if Will Shane actually killed him.

Beating the Dead Horse

This is an apology post and I want my followers to hear things from me personally. I will understand if my followers do not want to associate with my page or my content after this. But I needed to talk about this. This is something that could affect my entire life and livelihood. I really didn’t want to have to do this. I am not a screen shot queen so I’m going off the few things I have.

How it feels to be free from one of the most toxic fandoms that literally made you an awful person to be around:

I had already apologized personally to the people I was mean to over a year ago, probably a year and a half by now. I have separated myself from this group entirely and tumblr as a whole. I’m tired of people beating the dead horse. I am tired of this person harassing me and others. I am tired of my name being in this person’s mouth as they pick and choose what to share. I am so tired of @s4intpupp. I will never speak about this again after this and I do not want people to keep messaging me about it. I want to be left alone and enjoy my life in the real world.

I am actually looking to take legal action against her because defamation of character and emotional distress are crimes. I wish to pursue this legally. If anyone knows anything more about her, I want her served court papers and I am taking her and her mother to court. This is detrimental to my career and livelihood and I will not put up with lies or slander. Especially because she used my real face. My real face is being used in a document that could potentially make me lose my license and everything I have built in the real world.

First of all, I want to own up to one thing. I did talk a lot of shit. I did not like that person at all and neither did the people around me at the time. I wasn’t a good person. But I did not make a fake account to terrorize someone. I also only made one singular ask against someone. To paint me as the complete villain is insane.

You have been proven to go after people several times when they do not agree with you and you have even made extremely racist comments on people’s posts. You’re not a good person. I also, was not a good person. But to claim I groom you when I called you my little sister is crazy. You instigate fights and cry when they do not go your way. Your boyfriend is a white supremacist and you are mixed? Make that make sense.

The X reader post is actually about my irl ex friend who tried to steal my identity. We’re the same age. I cannot post her face nor her real name since I do not want a court case against me, but that girl was my high school friend, She even tried to SA me on her couch and broke into my garage back at my old place. She isolated me from all my friends. She had tried to show up to my house to become friends again so I wrote about it. The world does not revolve around you. I literally had forgotten you existed. Why on earth would I make a x reader about a minor? What the actual fuck.

I did block her because she’s an awful person and I blocked several of her accounts she made. She has so many accounts, it’s hard to keep track of them all. She has used these accounts to stalk and harass multiple people. Even to report accounts. Here are some of them.

When Blurr Showed Up On RiD2015, He Took The Blame For Sideswipe’s Poor Performance, Thinking That He Himself Was For The Blame of Sideswipe Knocking The Decepticon Into The Water And Letting Them Escape. Blurr Told Bumblebee On Screen ‘The Accident Was Totally My Fault, Bee, I Broke Formation To Drive Next To You’, Blurr Was Conditioned By Heatwave And The Rescue Team Into Believing Everything That Goes Wrong Is His Fault, Whether It Be Just a Malfunction of Technology or a Crash, Blurr Believes That He’s To Blame Because of How The Rescue Team Treated Him. Blurr Also Almost Dies In That Episode As Well, While Blurr Was Driving a Bomb Away From Bee’s Team, The Bomb Easily Could’ve Detonated And Killed Blurr On The Spot, But It Didn’t. Blurr Almost Dies Constantly But It’s Almost Never Taken Seriously, Always Used As a Joke Afterwards With The Rescue Bots And Brushed off With Bee’s Team.

Why Do I Believe Blurr Is a Teenager? Simple, He Behaves Very Similarly To Sideswipe, Who’s Described As a Teenager/Young Bot In Many Episodes of RiD2015 And Was Described In Season 4 As ‘Being Moved Around From Home To Home’, Like a Foster Child. Both Blurr And Sideswipe Are Careless At Times, Immature, Dislike Authority, Like Going Fast, And Are Implied To Be Teenagers Who Never Asked To Be On Earth In The First Place.

It Isn’t Blurr’s Fault That He Doesn’t Know How To Rescue, It’s Heatwave’s Fault For Not Teaching Him Properly or Trying To Understand Blurr’s Situation, It’s Optimus’ Fault For Not Listening To Blurr’s Complaints, It’s The Rescue Teams Fault For Treating Blurr Like He’s a Bad Person For Not Knowing How To Rescue. i find it absolutely fascinating/cool at how each dorm room in twst really shows each character's personality. lilia's dorm room is incredibly messy, and it has so many random things that don't even have the same color theme as diasomnia, lol.

it's messy and unorganized, too. it really shows that he's 700 years old and has been traveling the world back when he was young. in book 7, when silver and sebek were helping lilia clean his room before the farewell party, silver also found a lot of things that were already outdated.

What is going ON with the music industry, and specifically the Christian music industry

I admittedly don’t branch out enough and I hardly listen to new music. But I help out with music at my church, and almost every new song we’ve done in the past year is extremely bland. The lyrics are TRUE lyrics and they’re good truths about God to remember, but they’re ALL saying the same thing. The same phrases. They all are essentially the same few songs shuffled together.

I’m honestly so sick of it. My favorite Christian artist is Phil Wickham, and honestly, Phil peaked in like, 2013-2018. Even more narrowly, 2013–2016. He’s had some good outliers since then, but his albums are getting more and more bland, and the reason I was drawn to him in the first place WAS his rich lyrics. Like his Children of God album is probably my favorite album out there, with The Ascension as a close second.

But now I don’t even want to listen to his new stuff! And yeah, there are people writing better lyrics out there—but I guess what I’m annoyed by is that the POPULAR Christian songs these days don't have rich lyrics. Everything that’s popular is bland, in my current experience.

I am sick and tired of seeing people push this narrative that Luke and Nicola are secretly dating when they’ve both been seen in public WITH OTHER PEOPLE. It is a known fact that for over a year, Luke has been dating Antonia and it’s no secret that Nicola is with Jake.

By constantly pushing the “Luke and Nicola are secretly in a relationship” narrative and by repeatedly spreading rumors about two people you really DON’T know, you are creating another false narrative (whether that’s your intention or not)- one that suggests that Luke and Nicola are each taking advantage of someone just to keep their “relationship” private. Regardless of how you feel about both Antonia and Jake, that’s a fucked up thing to do to someone.. and Luke and Nicola don’t seem like the type of people to go out of their way to do that to somebody.

It’s one thing to ship Luke and Nicola, but it’s something completely different when you obliterate any and all boundaries by spreading rumors about two people who you’ll never truly know on a personal level. I know this is something that I’ve said before (most likely more than once), but I don’t really care. I don’t care how many times I have to say how wrong it is to spread rumors and claiming them to be facts- I will shout it from the top of the Empire State Building if I must.

All of this behavior is not only childish and disrespectful but it’s just flat out dumb.

i feel like it’s important within the yellowjackets fandom that has pretty much every ship possible, that we recognize the representation we were given — taivan have been extremely important to me as an individual considering this isn’t something we get very often, a black empowered lesbian who is in a relationship with a butch lesbian who are both characterized very well and played by two queer actors.

i’ve seen far too much taivan discourse on my TL recently and it breaks my heart, people are entitled to their own opinions but hating on a canon ship and then continuing to push an agenda about two characters that aren’t canonically interested in each other romantically (maybe even platonically) doesn’t sit very well with me and the other people i have curated this post with. it’s a very rare circumstance that this representation is brought to the light with a mainstream show and we should as a fandom collectively respect and view these two characters differently. i hope with season 3 they touch on their relationship more because representation goes such a long way even if it is only two characters.
