(Teach me how) to Love You
simon “ghost” riley x gn!reader
cw: miscommunication. simon’s childhood trauma mentioned. little hurt/comfort. fluff.
wc: 2k
Pt.1  Pt.2  Pt.3
Simon’s convinced he’s never had that much fun before.
Your childhood bedroom was filled with memories, a few awards here and there, and so many photos of you. It was very easy to tell you were loved, and Simon couldn’t have enough of it.
He was too busy taking pictures of everything to notice the growing worry on your face. As carefully as possible, he took pictures of your old drawings, of a silly framed photo of you with black eyeliner and some hair covering your face. Simon didn’t know what it was to have memories worth remembering, so to see all of your belongings around, kept safe by your parents, Simon wanted to cry. Part of him wished he had been part of that, but deep down, he knew he wouldn’t have been welcome, especially not by someone as good as you.
All of those problems would’ve affected you, but because you two met later on, he was able to be himself instead of the broken shell his past left of him.
“Are you upset with me?”
The question had Simon turning sharply, his mind coming to a stop. “No. Why?”
“You reacted weirdly when I introduced you as my boyfriend to my grandma. I thought it was okay, but I should’ve checked. I’m sorry.”
“I’m not upset at all. If anything, I’m even happier than I was this morning,” Simon hummed, leaving his phone on your bed. “I was just surprised.”
“Surprised? Why?”
Simon didn’t know how to explain his fucked up brain didn’t catch up on things, and that he hadn’t known. In a way, he knew he was justified, because you never brought it up either, but Simon was not playing that game. His heart pounding in his chest, Simon gently took your hand. “If I say something stupid, will you be angry?”
A little frown made your mouth tilt down. “Well, I am upset now. You are not answering my question.”
“I can see that,” he cleared his throat. Needing a moment, he went to sit on your bed; his phone slipped to the floor but he barely paid attention to it, only focusing on you standing in front of him, shielding him from whatever you deemed dangerous. His own head, most of the times.
“Simon,” you signed. Your hand went to his shoulder, squeezing it and shaking him just enough for him to feel it. “Talk to me.”
“I… I didn’t know I was your boyfriend.”
Simon’s worst fear became true right there —a real frown on your face, because of him. The expression brought back bad memories, his throat closing up in a heartbeat. “If this is a joke, it’s not funny.”
“No. No, it’s not a joke. Come here.” Trying to keep his composure, Simon guided you to sit next to him. He kept his hands on your arms, hoping you wouldn’t suddenly pull away. “I didn’t know. I mean, I’ve liked you for a while, but I just assumed we were very close friends, and I didn’t even cross my mind you could ever be interested. Hell, I didn’t even know it myself.”
You were silent, the confusion only growing in your eyes. Simon wished he had the guts to get on his knees and beg you to stop looking at him like that. If you had yelled at him, he was sure he could handle that. Silence? He wanted to hug your thighs and cry.
“You’re serious.”
“I am.” Simon croaked, a burning sensation of fear making his stomach twist.
“When you told me you thought you were in love with me…”
“I had just realised it. I was confessing.”
Simon didn’t know what to expect. As a child, he was used to his parents snapping at him if he made a mistake; his cheek would burn if his mother decided it was a good idea to slap him so little Simon wouldn’t spill the milk again, or he would end up screaming in fear because his father was taking out his pet snake to teach him a lesson for talking back. Sometimes, the worst days for Simon, his father would entertain himself by smoking and using little him and baby Tommy as ashtrays, their mother long gone.
To have you go silent in front of him, processing things your way, Simon was unsure of what to do, so he could only try to fill the silence in a way he never had to before. He never felt the urge to overexplain himself to you, until that day.
“Listen, I— I fucked up, okay?” he rushed, looking away when your lips parted, no doubt to tell him to get lost. Simon’s hands gripped your wrists just enough for you to stay still, not restricting but pleading. “I didn’t know, but that’s no excuse. I should’ve known, of course, and you did nothing wrong. And if you want to hate me, that’s okay, I deserve it. Just give me a chance, will you? I promise I’ll change. Anything, everything.”
“What? Of course I won’t.” Your voice was high, disbelief clear in your face. “Hold on—”
“No, you’re right, I’m sorry. I’ll… Okay. I’ll drive you back tomorrow. I promise I won’t take long to grab my stuff once we’re there. I think Johnny’s flat is empty, if he moved in with his boyfriend like he said he would, so I might be able to live there.”
“What?” Your voice was smaller this time, but Simon couldn’t catch it, not with the way his heart was beating so loud he could barely hear himself think. He stood up, already rushing to grab his backpack and his phone. He could sleep in the car, and stay out of your way until you were ready to leave.
He fucked it up. The only good thing in his life and he screwed it up because he took too long to see it. Simon had nobody to blame but himself, and he couldn’t even look at you; he didn’t have the strength to try and beg.
Simon’s hands were trembling and you were still in silence, no doubt wondering how can anyone be this stupid. How could he not know? It was so obvious, too. He had to find a way to move on, because you didn’t want him anymore, and he was so, so alone again. He just never thought it would end like this, with Simon dragging his broken heart behind him. Or maybe he did. Nothing good ever lasted for him.
Two warm, firm arms wrapped around him and everything in his mind went blank, his eyes widening. Your chest was flush against his, the echo of your words vibrating inside of his ribcage but he couldn’t understand them. Simon was convinced you hated him, but there was no hate in the way your body rocked his, working like a strong shield and a thick blanket of comfort.
You were saying something, but his ears were buzzing, and his mind was like a puddle of fear, so he just stood there, his hands hovering over your back, not daring to do anything for a long moment while you hugged him. Simon could only stare in disbelief, not truly believing it, when you cupped his cheeks, worry and love in your eyes as you tried to speak to him.
“You idiot,” was the first thing Simon managed to understand. His lips parted, wanting to tell you that he was, the biggest idiot, please don’t leave, but your hands were firm, squishing his cheeks so much that he was unable to speak or move his head. “I don’t hate you. The fuck.”
“Ah?”
It was your turn to sit him down, handing him a pillow for his anxious hands to squeeze. Simon stared as you sat down next to him, all thoughts leaving his mind when a smile bloomed in your lips. “Okay, shut up and listen to me.”
The ten seconds of waiting was torture for Simon, watching you take a bottle of water from under your bed —he didn’t even want to know for how long it’s been there—, and take a sip before handing it to him. Your eyes told Simon he had to drink, but he didn’t dare moving.
“Are you breaking up with me?” Simon asked. Unexpectedly, that made you burst out laughing. He gaped, torn between feeling offended or hurt.
“No, of course not! No, Simon, I’m… not breaking up with you,” you huffed. The fondness in your tone caught him off guard. It didn’t make sense to him. “If you do move out, I will, though.”
His expression must've fallen, because you were suddenly hugging him again, patting his back.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be teasing right now,” you sighed, still fond. Your arms let go of him, but your hands remained on his wrists, your smile softer now. “I’m sorry. It was my mistake not making sure we were on the same page.”
“No, but it was my—”
“My fault, Simon, for assuming,” you interrupted him calmly. “I don’t want you to change yourself for me, and there’s nothing in you that needs to be changed either. I love the person you are now, as I loved the person I met almost three years ago. They’re different, but they’re both you.”
You let the silence stretch for a few seconds, making sure he genuinely understood. When Simon only stared, his nails digging into the pillow, your smile widened.
“There was no way you could’ve known, because we never talked about it. I don’t hate you, and I hope you didn’t mean it when you said you will move out,” your hands squeezed his own, hopeful. “Now, if it’s okay, I’d love you to be my boyfriend.”
Those words sent a rush of heat to his chest, choking him up. “Okay.”
“Are you going to cry?”
“Yes.”
“Can I hold you, then?”
“Please.”
As all the nights before, you slept curled against his chest, his arms wrapped around your shoulders as the two of you breathed each other in. There was nothing different, no sudden desire he had been holding back, no difference in the way he held you that night, and there were no hidden intentions in your lips pressing to his collarbone, murmuring something Simon didn’t care to understand. He only held you tighter against his chest, wondering if it’s the same for others, but it felt damn good.
Nothing truly changed, but everything was different now, because that one time two years ago, he thought he might understand the concept of romantic love while holding you —this time, he fell asleep with the certainty that it was love. It slept patient for two years, over a hundred weeks of it napping in a corner of their shared flat, arms crossed, wondering when he’d realise.
Now, all Simon had to do was look down at you, sleeping soundly in his arms, to fully understand it then.
Love was Johnny, who saved his life, the fresh clothes and the warm meals he prepared for Simon; it was Gaz, who always made sure he did well in school, and who had found help for his addictions, the one who instantly knew when he wasn’t happy; and Price, the older brother Simon didn’t know he needed, who would share his tobacco with him so Simon didn’t have to get it behind their backs, always making sure he didn’t overdo it —the one who taught him how to mourn Tommy, letting him heal. The world hadn’t been kind to Simon, but his friends filled his heart in a way nobody had. That was love.
You were love. Your patience, your laughter, your wits and the way you sang in the shower, loud enough so he had no choice but to join from the bedroom with his awful howling. You were love and comfort, your voice calling him into the bathroom because you had forgotten the towel, your half-playful whines of complaint when he forgot to do the dishes when he said he would, and your sudden pillow fights when he was bored out of his mind.
There was love in your shared routine, in your cuddles at night, in the calm discussions when the other had been accidentally too mean or when he was too late from work and found you snoring in the living room, your bed too big and too cold without him there.
There was love in every little part of you, floating over you like a second skin, and Simon was nothing if not greedy.

"Hah! You look so funny. I didn't even know birds could be arrested for being misbehaved." Lucca says mockingly, looking at the black crow.
The crow was indeed funny-looking, with its eyes pocking out and its beak weirdly small compared to the other crows.
"Do you forget where you are? This is an Animal Control office, Lucca." Norman answers Lucca with a eye-rolling. "Please don't poke the bird."
The tall man frowns in response and sighs, rolling around on his desk chair, "Don't poke the bird this! Don't poke the bird that! So many rules! When does this end?" he asks.
Norman doesn't show any kind of expression on his face, not even how much the flickering lights were bothering him. But his eyes then blink uncontrollably; not once, not twice, "Lucca." he says pausibly, "You are a police officer."
A sincere laugh escapes from Lucca's throat, leaving even the stupid bird fased.
"Oh, right!"
"Ok, listen to me carefully: My shift for today is done..." Norman calmly gets up, taking off his uniform shirt, "This bird is crazy. Please, I don't usually say this but I beg you..." dramatic pause, "Don't talk to the bird. Don't look at the bird. Don't free the bird. And please... Don't poke the fucking bird."
"Yes chief!" Lucca replies in a salutation gesture like he had understood.
Norman looks at Lucca six times to make sure everything will be okay before he leaves the room before going home.
The tall man starts playing with the pencils and pens laying around the gigantic wooden desk in front of him and making music that sounds good in his ears.
"Baby I can see your Halooo." He sings along the Beyoncé in his head like he's in some type of a concert.
"Preee"
Lucca jumps out of his chair admired by the bird's response to his singing.
"Hi birdie..." Suddenly the cage is not so far away as he gets closer and closer to it, hypnotozed by the crow's buggly eyes, "Oh, aren't you adorabl....e?" He says, unsure.
"Preeee"
His hand raises, as if it has its own soul and desires, but he is quick to hold it with the other one.
"Do not poke the bird." He repeats it to himself, "Do not poke the bird. Do not poke the bird. Do no pop the birb."
"Preee"
Lucca's finger is now inside the cage, popping the birb, as he laughs loudly, taking the finger out and putting inside the cage poking the bird making the bird yell and move its wings.
"Oh oh."
The bird gets angry mad, quickly destroying the cage's door and flying around the room.
"Oh no. Birdie, please."
"Preeee"
Lucca starts jumping as high as he could, trying to catch the black bird, but he would only fly higher and sometimes hitting the flicking lights.
Few minutes flew by as the bird did too...
Norman enters the room looking at the floor, unware at the situation, "I forgot to tell you..."
All of the desks were now white and the floor was full of watermelon and paper pieces, all thorn apart.
Lucca was there shirtless using his shirt as a whip on top of a cluttered table.
"Are you drunk right now?" Norman asks, clearly mad at the tall man's appearance.
"I thought that was certain... But I feel like we have way bigger concerns right now!" Lucca answers with a yell, throwing his shirt at the stupid crow.
Normal stops for a second to give a quick look at the dark room. All dirty from bird poop, fruit and paper.
"LUCCA!"
— Don't poke the bird.
Writing Prompt #3835
"Are you drunk right now?" He asked the pilot as they swerved to escape another enemy.
"I feel like we have way bigger concerns right now!"

KNOCK ME OFF MY FEET
WHUMPERLESS WHUMP EVENT DAY 16
Summary: (featuring fem!Shinsou) Shinsou missed lunch. Well, she's missed a lot more than that. Following her mentor's meal plan is no easy task.
Prompts: Collapsing in public/ Dizzy/ “Woah, there, you good?”
Warnings: Restricting food as punishment, weight shaming, child abuse
---
Hitomi’s stomach growled for what must have been the millionth time that day, and she flushed in embarrassment when it got her a raised eyebrow from her mentor.
“Did you eat lunch today?” Aizawa asked her, but his expression said he already knew the answer to that.
Hitomi looked away, “...no. I missed it,” she mumbled. She continued her stretches, not wanting to see the disapproval on his face.
“Here.”
She looked up and he casually tossed something to her. She caught it without registering what it was at first. When she looked down at her hand, she found one of Aizawa’s precious jelly packs.
“I gave you a meal plan, and I expect you to follow it,” he said, his tone stern, “it’s the only way you’ll be able to keep up with the level of activity required from you in training.”
Hitomi said nothing, sucking lightly on the jelly pack. The sweet lychee flavor subdued the bitter retort she had on the tip of her tongue and she did her best to keep a hold on her frustration.
Aizawa often treated her like she had much more control over her life than she actually did. She didn’t know how to tell him that despite her desire and willingness, following a meal plan was beyond her capability right now. Hell, sometimes just eating regularly wasn’t in the cards for her.
There was a lock on the fridge in her foster home, with a temperamental foster mother who thought children should “earn” their meals. Oftentimes, despite doing her best to stay out of trouble, Hitomi would find her dinner “privileges” revoked.
And forget about extra food. The first time Hitomi brought up Aizawa’s meal plan to her foster mother, the woman had sniffed derisively, said, “I don’t think you need any more food,” and gave her a little pinch on the stomach. It left Hitomi burning with embarrassment for the rest of the day. Further attempts at bringing it up only either brought about a similar response or comments about Hitomi’s greed and ungratefulness.
Yes, it was fucked up. Hitomi knew it was fucked up, but what could she do? She was just a kid, “just a stupid girl,” and she would continue to be one for a few years yet. Maybe she could complain, get shuffled off to a new home if they felt it was serious enough, but there were worse things than being hungry.
Besides, UA had free lunch, and they were quite generous with their helpings. So at least on school days she didn’t have to worry. She just happened to miss her lunch that day because her foster parents' little creep of a son decided it would be funny to rip up her English homework and she had to spend her lunch period redoing it. It wasn’t a big deal, she just had to push through like she always did.
She finished up the jelly pack and continued on with her training for the day. She had to admit, beneath all the stubbornness, that a small packet of sugar, electrolytes, and vitamins wasn’t going to sustain her for very long. By the end of training, her strength was fading fast. She felt weak and more than a little off kilter.
“Alright, that’s all for today,” Aizawa told her, and Hitomi was relieved, she really needed to sit down. “Now, remember to-”
“Who’s hungry!?” Aizawa was interrupted as the doors to the gym opened to reveal Yamada, his voice boosted just enough to reach them. Her homeroom teacher had a plastic bag full of takeout hanging from each hand, and he was already dressed down into civilian clothes. He began sashaying his way over to them, upbeat as always, “I’ve got a buncha chow and there’s plenty to go around! How about-”
Hitomi turned towards Yamada and the room spun. She stumbled and sank to her knees on the mats. “Shit…” she blinked hard once, then twice, trying to center herself as a sheen of sweat formed on her forehead.
There was a hand on her shoulder that withdrew when she jerked in surprise. Hitomi lifted her head to find both Aizawa and Yamada crouched in front of her. She immediately felt embarrassed about what had just happened.
“Easy there, listener,” Yamada cautioned. He had a more subdued grin on his face, his eyes tight with obvious concern. “You good?”
“What happened?” Aizawa asked her quietly, his hand still outstretched.
“I just got a little dizzy is all,” she brushed off the concerns, sitting up and folding her legs beneath her.
“Eraser mentioned you missed lunch today,” Yamada said gently, and Hitomi wondered when her mentor got the time to tell him about that. “Ya think maybe that had something to do with you taking a little tumble?”
He didn’t ask it in a mean or smug way, but Hitomi still felt a little chastised. She avoided their gazes, hands tucked into fists in frustration, “probably,” she admitted, wanting to sink into the ground.
“Well, then, it’s a good thing I just arrived with dinner,” Yamada declared, “so why don’t you join us for some refueling? Feelin’ some ramen?”
He was already up and sorting through the takeout bags before Hitomi could answer. She looked over at Aizawa and then back to Yamada, “no, it’s okay, it’s your guys’ food, I can’t-”
“He always gets too much,” Aizawa said easily. He shifted his body, getting comfortable on the mats beside her as Yamada set out containers and plastic bowls and utensils, laying out an entire feast on the floor for them. It did look like a lot of food, enough that she wouldn’t feel like her partaking would leave either of them without. “We don’t mind.”
“Yeah, c’mon, kitty cat,” with careful efficiency, Yamada poured some broth into a plastic bowl, then added in noodles and plenty of toppings. “Good food needs good company! And since ol’ Eraser here’s such a grump, I’m gonna sorely be needin’ some good company!”
“Hey,” Aizawa grunted, shooting Yamada a look, but Hitomi could tell it wasn’t serious.
Yamada handed Hitomi the bowl he just prepared. As soon as the smell of the savory broth hit her nose, she found she no longer had the strength to protest. Her mouth watered and her stomach grumbled again, almost as though it was begging her to stop arguing and just accept this much needed meal.
“Uh, okay,” she nodded stiffly, holding the bowl closer to herself. A spoon and some chopsticks were pushed her way next, and she took a sip, having to stop herself from making some sort of embarrassing noise in response to the wonderful flavor. Her cheeks warmed with the delight of a good meal, “thank you,” she said, a small smile forming on her face.
Hitomi looked up to see both Aizawa and Yamada watching her with…something in their expressions. Before she could interpret anything, they’d both turned to their own meals and Yamada was now regaling them with a funny story about a guest he’d had on his radio show in between slurps of noodles.
She ate and listened, sometimes adding comments or asking questions. It was a comfortable meal, something she wasn’t used to, and it was the first time in a long time that she’d left a dinner feeling full.
She told herself not to get used to it. This was just a one-time thing, a coincidence that she happened to be there and Yamada had happened to bring too much food.
But the weeks passed, and Yamada continued to show up after training, arms laden down with various dishes from his and Aizawa’s favorite places. And Hitomi continued to find herself with a full plate in her hands and leave with a full belly.
By the time Hitomi left her previous foster home and Aizawa and Yamada brought her to their home, to her final home in foster care, she was finally used to it all. The good food and the good company.

for whom good omens is being written
Hey maggots and the rest of the fandom, it's the Good Omens Mascot here. Today I read a post about this tweet:
Tumblr media
The accompanying video genuinely made me cry. And I've been thinking about this for a long while, as far back as February, when I saw a lot of conflicting opinions on what people wanted from the third season. It really is true that no matter what you do, some people will be dissatisfied. But what matters is that Neil is writing this for Terry.
And I was reminded of some paragraphs from the Good Omens TV Companion, which I'd read in Amazon's sample excerpt of the book. I know this is a long post, but I really truly do think you all need to read these, I've done my best to select only the most important parts. Here you go:
'His Alzheimer's started progressing harder and faster than either of us had expected,' says Neil, referring to a period in which Terry recognized that despite everything he could no longer write. 'We had been friends for over thirty years, and during that time he had never asked me for anything. Then, out of the blue, I received an email from him with a special request. It read: “Listen, I know how busy you are. I know you don't have time to do this, but I want you to write the script for Good Omens. You are the only human being on this planet who has the passion, love and understanding for the old girl that I do. You have to do this for me so that I can see it." And I thought, “OK, if you put it like that then I'll do it."
'I had adapted my own work in the past, writing scripts for Death: The High Cost of Living and Sandman, but not a lot else was seen. I'd also written two episodes of Doctor Who, and so I felt like I knew what I was doing. Usually, having written something once I'd rather start something new, but having a very sick co-author saying I had to do this?' Neil spreads his hands as if the answer is clear to see. 'I had to step up to the plate.' A pause, then: 'All this took place in autumn 2014, around the time that the BBC radio adaptation of Good Omens was happening,' he continues, referring to the production scripted and co-directed by Dirk Maggs and starring Peter Serafinowicz and Mark Heap. ‘Terry had talked me into writing the TV adaptation, and I thought OK, I have a few years. Only I didn't have a few years,' he says. 'Terry was unconscious by December and dead by March.'
He pauses again. 'His passing took all of us by surprise,' Neil remembers. 'About a week later, I started writing, and it was very sad. The moments Terry felt closest to me were the moments I would get stuck during the writing process. In the old days, when we wrote the novel, I would send him what I'd done or phone him up. And he would say, "Aahh, the problem, Grasshopper, is in the way you phrase the question," and I would reply, "Just tell me what to do!" which somehow always started a conversation. 'In writing the script, there were times I'd really want to talk to Terry, and also places where I'd figure something out and do something really clever, and I would want to share it with him. So, instead, I would text Terry's former personal assistant, Rob Wilkins, now his representative on Earth. It was the nearest thing I had.'
(...) As Neil himself recognizes, this is an adaptation built upon the confidence that comes from three decades of writing for page and screen. But for all the wisdom of experience, he found that above all one factor guided him throughout the process. 'Terry isn't here, which leaves me as the guardian of the soul of the story,' he explains. 'It's funny because sometimes I found myself defending Terry's bits harder or more passionately than I would defend my own bits. Take Agnes Nutter,' he says, referring to what has become a key scene in the adaptation in which the seventeenth-century author of the book of prophecies foretelling the coming of the Antichrist is burned at the stake. ‘It was a huge, complicated and incredibly expensive shoot, with bonfires built and primed to explode as well as huge crowds in costume. It had to feel just like an English village in the 1640s, and of course everyone asked if there was a cheap way of doing it. 'One suggestion was that we could tell the story using old-fashioned woodcuts and have the narrator take us through what happened, but I just thought, “No”. Because I had brought aspects of the story like Crowley and the baby swap along to the mix, and Terry created Agnes Nutter. So, if I had cut out Agnes then I wouldn't be doing right by the person who gave me this job. Terry would've rolled over in his grave.'
And, finally, this paragraph:
"Once again, Neil cites the absence of his co-writer as his drive to ensure that Good Omens translated to the screen and remained true to the original vision. 'Terry's last request to me was to make this something he would be proud of. And so that has been my job.'"
I think that's so heartwrenchingly beautiful, and so I wanted you all to read this, too, just in case you (like me) don't have the Good Omens TV Companion. It adds another layer of depth and emotion to this already complex and amazing story that we all know and love.
Share this post, if you can, please, so that more people can read these excerpts :")
Tagging @neil-gaiman, @fuckyeahgoodomens and @orpiknight, even if you've definitely read these before :)

⭑.ᐟ He was just a pretty face. — perhaps, apollonian, charming, delicate. — Only. — There was no way you could start admiring that man, besides, he wasn't everything they keep saying, gossiping about; you weren't a teenager.
⤷ But, damn, in a few moments, you were judging and scolding Zoey, alongside Rumi, for admiring the new, damn, demonic boy band; and right now, you're reveling in the group's leader. — No, you weren't proud of that, not even a little bit.
⭑.ᐟ Jinu was looking for your contact; regardless of whether he could be rejected, snubbed, offended or completely threatened. — Funny, he liked the rude and confusing way you greeted him politely next to the girls. — The boy, demonic and enigmatic, dedicated himself to tormenting you.
⤷ Daring winks, mentioning your name in an interview, flirtatious greetings, or compliments on some song you wrote? — Oh, that man was a stupid curse; you wished you had the chance to kill him. — Mira was begging you to put this plan into action.
⤷ It was ridiculous; Jinu was ridiculous. — The feeling of vulnerability could never taste your chest, however, you knew that his actions made you curious, almost disturbed; it was not out of fear, anguish or lack of security, it would never be that. — After all, you had always been taught to bury those feelings in the tombs of demons.
⭑.ᐟ OH, THE GOSSIP? — Zoey, as always, updated on everything that was being said about HUNTR/X on all social networks; seriously, she was starting to outgrow Bobby. — So, every night, especially during breaks and rests, you all got together to read all the news, tweets.
⤷ And of course, your fans and SAJA BOYS were commenting, almost obsessively, about the amount of interactions that happened between you and Jinu; right, there were many, many tweets. — Photos and some videos of him looking at you, with those soft, venerable eyes, while answering a question from the interviewer or how you were together when it was time for the photo shoot for a magazine; there were many situations.
⤷ On the one hand, you were curious to read all those tweets, posts just out of curiosity about the fans' creativity, just for that. — Ah, a demon with a huntress, what a joke in terrible and horrible taste.
“OH, look at this one!” — Zoey exclaimed, with great enthusiasm, almost spilling her soda on the couch, earning a sigh from Rumi. — “I wish i had thought of that one before.” — She laughed as she tried to show and tell what the tweet would be; Mira and you looked at each other, not trying to contain your laughter.
“Say it!” — Participating in the excitement, you said to the youngest.
“Okay, okay…” — As she turned the tablet, Zoey showed two photos where you and Jinu were greeting each other; in the first photo, you had bowed and in the second, you stared at each other for a few seconds. — Do you remember this moment? — “Listen, “They look like a couple of divorced parents who still see each other every day because of their child and who are going to fall in love again.”” — She repeated what was written in the post.
“Oh, no…” — Your hand found the small, white pillow, then slapped it against your face, hiding your red, embarrassed cheeks.
⭑.ᐟ He intrigued you; he disturbed you. — There were times when you felt persecuted, but you allowed yourself to be; acting as if you were cat and mouse, or rather, two individuals who were hard to antagonize in any environment. — You swear you couldn't say whether or not you liked maintaining this feeling, a dangerous, forbidden feeling with a creature you knew was cruel.
⤷ Jinu could contemplate, worship your presence; sometimes, you didn't even need to know or fear that he was near. — It was always a mystery. — Likewise, how he enjoyed feeling all your anger, confusion and, perhaps, fascination in singing a part of the song that might — or might not — be for him.
“How can you sleep or live with yourself? a broken soul trapped in a nastiest shell.”

Word count: 11.3k help this took forever
a/n: this is the blue lock version of the fic concept I've done with Haikyu teams. I prefer to write characters older but college au makes this easier to so just imagine whatever age you want. Also y/f/n= your friend's name bc I couldn't think of one
Warnings: semi public sex, car sex, fingering, dirty talk, oral, unprotected sex, creampie, spitting, threesome, face sitting, squirting, toy use, finger in ass, chigiri is a sub/calling him good boy, virginity loss for rin, girl there’s a lot we got 10 men to get through so buckle up, also not proof read sorry
"Ugh, I am not going to miss August practices," your friend groaned, fanning herself with a clipboard.
"Seriously," you sigh. Usually you loved being the manager of your college's soccer team. It was a fun position and an easy way to get involved with a sport you enjoyed. Not to mention, your best friend was your co-manager, which meant you always had someone to chat with during practices.
The only time being the manager sucked where days like this, when you had to stand out in the blazing sun. Ego, the coach, made the team come in a week before the semester starts to begin training, which meant long days in the heat.
"Well, it's not all bad," your friend smirked, gesturing to the scene ahead of you. All of the players were currently running around shirtless, sweat dripping down their toned, sun-tanned bodies. The position certainly came with perks.
"Not a bad view, eh?" you replied.
"Ego's really cruel with his no hook up rule," your friend grumbled. You laughed, remembering how awkward the first team meeting you intended when Ego lectured everyone about not having sex with each other because it was a distraction. The players being off the table was definitely a downside of the position.
"I know," you sighed, "How am I supposed to graduate without knowing who's good in bed?"
"Right, like Rin is good on the field, but do you think his skills transfer?" your friend mused.
"Maybe Chigiri likes getting his hair pulled?"
"Do you think Barou makes girls call him the king while fucking?" You both snickered, drawing the attention of Isagi.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing!" you both responded in unison. You both turned away, trying to stifle laughter. As you regained your compsure, a thought popped into your head. You'd gone the past 3 year without breaking Ego's rule, but headed into your final year, you were feeling more daring...
"I have an idea."
"Which is?" your friend asked.
"What if I hooked up with all of them so we could get answers to our question?"
Your friend stared at you, incredulous. "You can't be serious."
"I fear I am," you replied. "Breaking the rules is fun every now and again."
"You'd have to break the rules like 10 times," she countered.
You shrugged. "I've behaved the last few years, I think I'm owed it. Besides, Ego will never find out because I'll make sure they'll keep their mouths shut. They can't know I'm hooking up with the other guys on the team, it would mess with the data."
Your friend rolled her eyes. "I didn't know this was so scientific. I bet it isn't even possible."
"Wanna put some money on that bet?"
"You're on."
You two spend the rest of practice hashing out the details of the bet. You had to sleep with the top ten players on the team, so could figure out who was the best. You couldn't tell them about the bet, nor could you let any of them find out, as it might mess with how good their performance is. You wanted to see how good they are when they didn't know it was a test. But if the team finds out, game over. And if Ego find out... well that was an awkward conversation you were keen on avoiding. You both agreed you had until the end of the school year and winner owed the other $300.
Karasu gave you your first opening. He was trying to convince the guys to go to a frat party with him, but after a week of tough practices no one was interested.
"I'll come with you, Karasu," you said with an innocent smile. "I think some of my roommates wanna go too, we can all go together." You added for the players who may be in earshot. Going alone might raise some suspicions. Karasu jumped at your offer and said he could pick you guys up at 8. Little did he know...
"Sorry Karasu, all my friends bailed," you lied, feigning disappointment. "Hope you don't mind if it's just me." Karasu's eyes raked over your body as you climbed into his car. You wore a mini skirt and a little top, which the glint in Karasu's eyes told you he enjoyed.
Just because Ego had a no hook up rule, it didn't mean the guys didn't look - or flirt - from time to time. Karasu was definitely one of the players that liked to push that boundary.
"Fine by me," he grinned. "We'll still have a good time."
The party, unfortunately, left much to be desired. It was the first big frat party of the year and it was beyond packed. The one drink you had was warm and crappy. Not to mention the music they had blasting sucked. You were barely there an hour when Karasu motioned for the exit.
"I'm sorry I dragged you out for such a shitty party," he sighed when you returned to the car.
"S'okay," you shrugged. "Hey it's still early, why don't we drive around and find a spot to chill for a bit?"
Karasu nodded, his hand on the back of your seat as he threw the car in reverse. "I think I know a spot."
It was only a few minute drive until you pulled up to a private little park, far from the main road. You couldn't believe your luck. You and Karasu slipped into easy conversation for a bit. The longer you spoke with him, the more you realized just how cute he was. You sorta went immune to the team's good looks since you've been around them for so long, but staring only at Karasu for so long reminded you that he was fine.
"What're you thinking about?" you asked him when he went quiet, giving you a particular look that made your stomach flip.
"I'm thinking," he replied, licking his lips, "That you look really good and that I really hate Ego's stupid rules."
"I can keep a secret if you can," you replied, leaning into him.
He held up his pinkie. "I won't tell a soul." You wrapped our pinkie around his with a triumphant grin. "Back seat has more space."
You crawled over the center console, followed closely by Karasu. He could see up your skirt, your ass barely covered by a little lace panty. He could feel himself growing hard as he tried to commit the image to memory.
You let out a little yelp as he playfully smacked your ass. "Sorry, couldn't help it."
You maneuvered to be straddling Karasu's lap. His hands tangled in your hair as he pulled you into a deep kiss. He was shy at all, kissing you with a hunger. You let out a pleasant hum as he nipped at your lower lip.
Your hips stirred over his lap as you felt him growing hard beneath you. Your skirt had completely hiked up around you waist, leaving you covered only in lace. Karasu let a groan as looked down at your clothed cunt pressed against his hard on through his jeans.
"Like what you see?" you teased rolling you hips. The friction against your aching cunt was delicious.
"You're so sexy," he mused, bringing his hands down to squeeze your tits through your top. You mewled, nestling your cunt against his thigh to grind down harder on him. You returned to kissing him as you rocked your hips, the rush of doing something you knew you shouldn't heightened pleasure building.
Your breaths were shortening the more you rolled your hips. You had to break the kiss as you desperately tried to chase your high. "Fuck, you think you could cum just like this?" Karasu asked, an excited edge in his voice.
You bit your lip and nodded, unable to find your voice. Karasu pulled your top down, exposing your boobs. He was greedy, sucking at your nipple and squeezing the other to help you along.
Your head collapsed on his shoulder as your body tensed and relaxed deeply into your orgasm. The breathy moans in Karasu's ear nearly made him come his pants.
"Fuck that was hot," he grinned. "Can I fuck you?" He was already slipping himself out of his pants. His tip was flushed and leaking, looking as needy as he sounded.
"Please." You were just as eager for more, positioning yourself over him. You let out a content sigh as you sunk down on to him.
"Fuck, you're soaked," he groaned, "All that for me?" He let you roll your hips, adjusting to him, but he couldn't hold himself back for long. He placed his hands on the seat, giving him leverage to fuck up into you.
"Karasu!" you cried. The air was thick, windows fogged from your panting breaths. Your hand streaked across the condensation as you tried to stabilized yourself.
It wasn't long before another wave of pleasure surged through your body, squeezing Karasu tightly. He let out a delicious groan as his hips stuttered and released into you. You collapsed onto of him, both of you panting.
"So worth breaking the rules," Karasu grinned. You smiled back, though for more reasons that Karasu realized. 1 down.
****
It had been a couple of weeks since your tryst with Karasu and you'd been holding your breath for Ego to call you into your office, or another player to make some suggestive comment. But there was no indication Karasu let anything slip. Your success emboldened you to set your sights on the next man
Barou always used the team gym later at night, after the rest of team had filtered out. He hated working out with them, complaining that they were loud and obnoxious. You, however, he didn't mind.
You were intimidating by Barou when you first met him, but quickly learned he was all bark and no bite. Well, with women that is. Though he had that tough exterior and an imposing size, he was always respectful towards you.
Truthfully, it was Rin you were most nervous to tackle in this challenge. Though physically less intimidating, he was certainly colder. Though Barou was smart, you had a feeling he would fall into the same pit fall most men do: thinking with the wrong head, so to speak. Rin, however, was more calculated, more observant. You feared he see through your charade. But that was a problem for future you.
You were grateful that Barou let you use the team gym in evenings with him, as you could avoid the crowded campus gym and men that ogled at every woman that walked in. For the most part, you and Barou did your own thing. Sometimes you would spot each other, but really you were just sharing the space with minimal interactions. You knew. Barou liked to do his own thing while working out and didn't wanna push it. Tonight, though, you had other plans.
You donned your cutest workout gear: tiny bike shorts and sports bra in your favorite color. You went about your normal workout, though not going as hard as you normally did so you could keep an eye on Barou. He looked as he normally did during a gym session, shirt off, hair down, wearing only small athletic shorts. He was certainly not making it hard to want him.
Barou was currently at the bench trying to beat his personal record of an incline press. He always had an impressive amount of weight loaded on his bar, but today it looked impossibly heavy. Grunts of frustration echoed in the empty gym as he couldn't quite lift the weight high enough to count as a rep. He set the bar down on the rack with a metallic clang and huff of frustraion. Now was your time.
"You know," you wandered over casually, "I heard that more testosterone can help men lift more.
Barou's brow furrowed. "Does it look like I'm low on testosterone to you?"
You appraised his broad form, thick with muscles, veins snaking down the length of his arms from the pump of his work out. A light layer of sweat made his body sheen. "Certainly not." You shrugged, not letting your true interest show. "Just thought it was an interesting theory. Probably bull shit."
Barou's eyes flickered between you and weight rack You could see the gears turning, the desire to conquer the a weight that would put him far above his teammates. "You'd be willing to try?"
"Sure, why not," you replied. "Could be a cool experiment."
"Alright, c'mere." You did as you were bid, your heart fluttering in your chest beneath his gaze. You slid on to him as casually as you could, your legs straddling his.
Barou was obviously bigger than Karasu, but you could feel the difference even just by being on his lap. His body was thick, forcing your legs open wider to accommodate his width. His muscles flexed beneath you as he shift on the bench to prepare for this lift. You bit down on your lip, hoping he wouldn't notice your blush.
Barou wrapped his hands around the bar, focus etched on his face as he lifted it off the rack. You weren't sure if you were surprised or not that it actually worked. It took some exertion on his end, muscles bulging, skin flushed, grunts that would sound very... suggestive out of context. But he was able to bench the weight for 3 reps, when he wasn't able to get a single one prior.
"Fuck, I can't believe that worked," he panted, setting the weight back down on the rack. When he sat up you were just inches apart.
"Knew you could do it," you said, innocently rolling your hips forward. "You're the strongest guy on the team by far." A little ego stroking never hurt.
"That why you were so eager to sit in my lap?" Barou replied shifting beneath you. You could swear you could feel his cock hardening beneath you. "Could feel you watching me all night." His eyes flickered down your body, taking in your barely covered body. "In this little outfit. Did you put this on for me?"
You batted your eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Barou tsked. "If you asked for what you want, you might get it y/n." His hands, rough and warm, were resting on your outer thighs, leaving no question of what he was suggesting.
"And if I want you?"
His fingers dug into you. "Be careful what you wish for." He pulled you into him, you chest flush against his. His kiss was possessive, dominating. He kneaded your ass as your tongues slid over each other. His skin was hot against yours with only the thinnest layers of material between your aching cunt and his growingly hard cock.
You went to reach between the two of you, to squeeze his length, but Barou gripped your wrist. "I'm in charge here."
"Oh yeah?" you challenged.
In a flash Barou had man handled you into being bent over the bend. "Yeah." He ground his cock against your ass. "That what you want?" You mewled but that wasn't good enough for Barou. He brought his hand against your ass with a sharp slap, making you gasp. "Answer me when I ask you something."
"Yes Barou I want it! Please-" your voice broke off as he pressed his thumb against your clit.
"Good girl." You could hear the smirk in his voice. "Gonna give you what you want." He pulled down your shorts, running his fingers through your wetness. "Soaked like a slut for me, huh?" He slid in two thick fingers inside you. "Gotta prep you for me."
Barou thrust his fingers hard and fast, but not unpleasantly. The pads of his fingers brushed against your gspot, making your cunt throb and spasm. Your ass wiggled back against him, wanting more, to feel him deeper. You were on precipice of an orgasm when Barou yanked his hand away.
You let out whine. "If you're gonna cum it's gonna be around my cock." You peaked back as you heard him shedding his shorts. His cock huge - long and thick, veins running up the sides. Your cunt throbbed with anticipation.
"Fuck." You couldn't contain yourself as his fat tip pressed into you. It ached, but in a sinfully pleasant way. Barou ran his hand down your spine, arching you for him while he gave a few shallow thrusts to adjust.
He quickly picked up his pace, the weight of him behind every thrust. It stole your breath, your cunt drooling.
"Making a fucking mess on me," Barou growled, watching the way you coating his length, dripping down on the bench. "Dirty girl." He gripped your hips, holding you just how he wanted. Your fingers dug into the bench, holding on for dear life as he fucked up.
"Barou I-" You choked out. You couldn't form a sentence with the way he took you.
"Go on and cum, y/n," Barou instructed. "Wanna feel you squeezing me." You wouldn't have been able to hold on much longer anyway at this pace. Pleasure exploded through your body, hot and heavy. Barou growled at your cunt throbbing around him. He fucked you through your orgasm, releasing only at the tail end of your high. The feeling of his hot cum shooting ropes into you prolonging you pleasure.
Barou slipped out of you with a grunt. "We need to clean up." Though he was amused by the mixture of yours releases coating his cock and spilled on the bench, his drive to clean was kicking in. He picked up the towel he brought with him while work out, gently wiping between your legs. It was oddly tender compared to his prior actions.
"Hey Barou, would you mind if we didn't tell anyone about this?" you asked. "I don't want to get in trouble with Ego. Plus, I can only imagine what the other guys would say."
Barou could feel a headache coming just by thinking of what stupid shit his teammates he would say. "I'm not telling them shit."
That was a good enough promise for you. 2 down.
****
The first few games of the season went well. Everyone was happy with the team's winning streak. Well, everyone but Isagi. He has yet to score a goal, which was bugging him incessantly.
"You just need to relax man," Bachira, who scored in today's game, told him. "You stress too much. It messes with your game." You eavesdropped on their conversation, pretending to take account of equipment as they packed their bags to head out.
"That's easy for you to say when you've already scored twice this season," Isagi grumbled.
"Just play better," Nagi yawned, not even bothering to look back at Isagi's disgruntled face.
"Or get laid, that ought to calm you down!" Reo snickered, jogging to catch up with Nagi. Not a bad idea Reo...
"Gee, thanks," Isagi snapped.
"Hey Isagi! Ego wants to talk to you," you called to him.
Isagi sighed. "I'll catch up with you later Bachira." He trudged over to you, looking defeated. "Am I about to get yelled at?"
"Well, I sorta lied." Isagi's brow quirked. "Ego didn't want to talk to you, I did."
"Oh? What's up?"
"Bachira's right," you replied, "I know I'm not a soccer expert, but I've learned a lot from watching. I can tell your game is off from the stress. You're playing stiff."
Isagi sighed. "I know, but the problem is I don't know how to not be. Everyone's scored this season except me. I don't wanna fall behind."
"Maybe Reo was right," you suggested.
Isagi let out a humorless laugh. "Yeah, I'm sure he is. But I don't exactly have any women who are willing to hook up for the sake of my game."
"I would, you know, for the sake of your game," you replied.
Isagi looked shocked. "Are you serious? But Ego's rules."
You shrugged. "He'd never find out, it's not like he’d be there during it." Isagi shuttered at the thought. "Look, as a friend and manager who wants to see the team do well, I'm offering to help. If we don't tell anybody else there's no way we'd get in trouble."
You could see the gears turning in Isagi's head. Best case scenario, he was thinking, he has sex with the hot manager and goes on a scoring streak. Worst case scenario, his play doesn't get any better, but he at least got to fuck the hot manager. He liked those odds.
"Okay, sure. If you really don't mind."
It was just too easy.
You agreed to meet at your place, as your roommate was spending the night at her boyfriend's. Isagi looked anxious as you led him to your room.
"This is supposed to be helping to relax," you commented with an amused smile. You laid on your bed, propped up on your elbows. Isagi eyed you hungrily, but his body was still tense.
"I'm still half expecting Ego to pop out and lecture me," Isagi replied.
You chuckled. "Gonna spend the whole night thinking about Ego or are you gonna come over here and let me take care of you?"
The latter sounded much more appealing, obviously so Isagi crawled on top of you on the bed. "If you change you min-"
"Shh," you pressed your finger to his lips. "Don't stress, just kiss me." You curled your fingers around the back of his neck, pulling him into you. His kiss was tentative at first, but quickly melted into comfortable rhythm.
Isagi palmed your tits, lightly grinding against you. He was hard already, making you smirk. You slid down between your bodies, squeezing him through his sweats. He gasped into the kiss.
"So sensitive,"you noted. "It's been a minute, huh?
"Too long," Isagi replied, pulling his shirt off. You followed suit, stripping yourself from the waist up. He eyed you hungrily, body already relaxing at the sight of you.
"Let's not keep you waiting any longer, yeah?" You hooked your finger into his sweats, tugging them down. His size was average, but he was flushed a pretty shade of pink. He teased your entrance with his tip, nudging at your clit. You let out a pleasant hum.
Isagi pressed in sigh you with a satisfied size. "God, you feel good." His head fell back as he slowly dragged himself in and out of you. He felt like he had to warm up, afraid he would bust too soon after going so long without.
Eventually he picked up his pace. He cupped the back of one of your knees, pressing it up to your chest. The angle pressed him deeper inside you, hitting a spot that made you breathless. "Mmm, so good Isagi."
He cock twitched at his name on your tongue. It spurred him on, snapping his hips faster. The base of him brushed against your clit, building your pleasure with each thrust. You wrapped your arms around his muscular back, letting your nails rake down his skin. The sensation sent Isagi over the edge.
He let out a low curse as his hips stuttered and he spilled inside you. The sensation of warmth filling you, along with the throb of his cock set you over the edge. You sighed contently into his neck as he slowly rode out your highs.
"Thanks for that," Isagi said later as you both redressed.
"You can thank me once you start playing better," you teased.
Low and behold, Isagi scored twice the very next game. He shot a lopsided grin as the team celebrated the win, though no one knew how you were the key to the success. Another one crossed off the list.
****
A few weeks later, your next opportunity arose. The team was lamenting about upcoming midterms, which they have to pass in order to be eligible play on the team.
"I'm screwed for my economics test," Bachira groaned at the end of practice.
"Don't ask me for help, dude. I gotta focus on my stats test or I'm screwed," Karasu replied, leaving Bachira to groan in the grass.
"Are you taking economics with professor Johnson?" you asked.
Bachira perked up. "Yes, he's the worst."
You nodded sympathetically. "For real, I struggled in his class last semester. I could help you, if you want. I still have some old notes."
"Seriously? That would be awesome," Bachira replied.
You met up the following evening at the library. You found a quiet spot deep into the stacks so you and Bachira could focus. He was not kidding when he said he was bad, but slowly you got him up to speed.
You weren't sure if you were reading into things because you had an ulterior motive, but you swore you felt tension. Perhaps it was the setting, the way you had to lean into to each other and speak in hushed voices. Your thighs brushed each others, fingertips brushing the other's hands as you pointed out facts on the page. The scent of him filling your nose, fresh and a little sweet.
"y/n," Bachira said softly, amusement clear in his voice. "You're staring."
You blushed, but used the moment to your advantage. "You're a little distracting."
"Oh yeah?" His hand brushed against your leg. "What should we do about that?"
You leaned in closer, allowing him to brush higher up your thigh. "You wanna take a little break, Bachira?" Your voice was a sweet hum in his ear.
"Was just thinking I need to thank you for the help," Bachira replied. He ghosted over your center, cat-like eyes flicking to yours for any signs of discomfort. When you should none, he applied a little pressure. "I've got some ideas, but might be better somewhere more... private."
"I like the sound of that," you murmured, already feeling yourself growing slick. "But we have to be careful, if someone sees we could get in trouble with Ego."
"Well, Isagi's visting his family tonight, so I have the place to myself," Bachira replied, lazily rubbing light circles over you. "As you for everyone else, it's late now and I doubt we'll see the guys on campus. Plus, I can keep a secret."
You smiled wickedly. "Let's do it."
You both scrambled to pack up your books. You weaved through the stacks, occupied by only a few devout studiers. It was later than you thought, night fully set in. You were grateful for the cover of darkness as you snuck to Bachira's car, both giggling.
Bachira drove with his hand on your thigh, teasing you lightly. Something about the gleam in his eye when he looked at you made you squirm, like you knew he had something good in store. Mercifully, the apartment he shared with Isagi was not far from campus.
You were on each other once the door closed behind you. Bachira kissed you as he led you back to his bedroom. Both your shirts were already off by the time you hit the bed. Bachira climbed on top of you, kissing you playfully as he continued to tease you through your leggings.
Bachira pulled away from the kiss, breathless and pupils wide. "Are you okay with toys?"
"Hmm?" you couldn't comprehend his question through the fog of lust.
Bachira dug through his nightstand, pulling out a little vibrator. You instinctively rubbed your thighs together at the thought of Bachira using that on you. "Can I?"
"Please."
Bachira grinned, sliding your leggings off and returning to you kissing you. He ran his hands up and down your body, giving extra attention to your tits and thighs. Eventually, he flicked on the vibrator, lazily dragging it from the valley of your chest down to the apex of your thighs. He stopped just above your throbbing clit before dragging it back up to the top.
He chuckled into the kiss as you squirmed when the vibrator ran across your nipples. He slid his tongue into your mouth, kissing you damn near stupid as the little bullet went back down your body.
You let out a little sigh into his mouth as he lightly pressed the vibrator to your clothed clit. He teased you with it, giving just enough pressure for it to feel good, but not enough to do anything. Any time he suspected pleasure was building, he pulled it away. Your hips bucked, desperate for more.
"Bachira," he name a plea on your lips.
"I'm being mean huh? Teasing you like this?" he pressed the vibrator harder into you for emphasis, savoring your gasp. "I'm supposed to be thanking you."
Bachira slid your underwear off, licking his lips at the string of arousal. "Fuck, I think I might need a little taste." He settled between your legs, licking up your slit. Your back arched as he sucked at your clit, messy and eager. He flicked the vibrator back on, alternating between licking at your clit and letting the vibrator do the work.
It took only a few moments of Bachira between your legs to send a surge of pleasure through your body. You clawed at the sheets, gasping his name as the feeling consumed you.
"Tastes so sweet," Bachira mused, licking his lips. He wriggled out of his pants, cock heavy and leaking. "Ready for more?" You nodded, eagerly pulling him closer. Bachira ran his cock leisurely through your slick folds. He flicked the vibrator on, running in down the length of him. He let out a low moan as it brushed against his tip.
He slid the vibrator between the two of you. You jolted as the buzz hit your swollen clit. Your cunt clenched around nothing as he continued to rut himself through your slick. You could feel Bachira's cock twitching against you and all you wanted was to feel that inside.
"Need you, fuck-," you gasped. "Inside, please."
Bachira obliged with a grin. "Can't say no to that." He slid into you with ease, on account of how wet you were. He groaned at the feeling of your wrapped around him.
Bachira snapped his hips, gradually picking up the pace. He loved the little sounds you made, proof of how desperate and sensitive you were. He wanted to push it further, flicking the vibrator on and pressing it against your throbbing clit.
You gasped, feeling over stimulated already. The feeling building in you was white hot. "Bachira I'm gonna-" you choked out a sob as gushed all over him, soaking his lower half.
"Fuck that was hot," Bachira replied, fucking you harder through it. He couldn't hold out longer, seeing you soaked and wriggling beneath him. You felt his cock throb as he filled you with a satisfied sigh.
"Sorry about your sheets," you said when you both caught your breath.
Bachira scoffed. "I'm not even slightly upset about that."
You ended up staying the night at his place, but went to practice the next day separately, as if nothing happened. A few days later, Bachira happily announced he passed his test to the team, throwing a sly wink your way. 4 down, 6 to go.
****
It had been a few weeks since the Bachira hook up and, honestly, you had half a mind to just forget the whole plan and go back for seconds. However, the competitive part of you couldn't give up a bet. Not to mention, you were interested in what the other contenders had to offer.
The semester was winding down and you found yourself at a party at the soccer house. Everyone was celebrating finals ending and a season that was successful so far. You wanted to get in one more before break started to put you in a good place to complete the challenge by next year.
As you were scanning the crowd for prospects, Reo caught your eye. He was chatting with Nagi, of course, and you got a weird feeling that they had been looking at you first. Talking about you. You gave Reo an inviting smile, who whispered soemthing to Nagi before jogging over to you.
"Hey, y/n," Reo greeted.
"Did I catch you staring, Reo?" you teased lightly.
He grinned, throwing his hands up. "You caught me. Nagi and I were talking about you, not going to lie."
"Oh? What about?" you asked.
Reo shifted on his feet, a nervous tell. His eyes flickered back to Nagi, who was watching with a flicker of interest across his normally bored expression.
"It's kinda weird."
You shrugged. "I like weird."
"Well," he began, "Nagi and I... we've always wanted to share a girl. You know, a bucket list sorta thing."
"Reo, are you asking me to have a threesome with you and Nagi?" you couldn't keep the smirk out of your voice.
Reo chuckled, "Well, yeah. I know it's random and kinda weird. Don't feel obligated to say yes obviously. We just... think you're hot and cool and were wondering if you'd be down."
What a gift you'd just been given. You didn't wanna look too eager though.
"I'm down, but..." you feigned concern, "Ego's rules... If people found out, it be a disaster."
"Nagi and I won't tell a soul, we promise," Reo assured you. "We're not trying to get you in trouble - or ourselves for that matter."
That easily, you found yourself in Reo and Nagi's shared place off campus. Most of the guys either rented little apartments or shared a house with 4 other guys, but Reo and Nagi a whole house to themselves. Unsurprising, given Reo's wealth. He could easily have the place to himself, but, again, unsurprisingly, he'd rather share with Nagi.
"Wow," you couldn't prevent the word from slipping out as you saw the massive bed Nagi was currently lounging on. He wore grey sweats and a t shirt and looked good enough to already get you excited.
"Glad I went for the king size now," Reo said, ushering you into the room.
"I'm glad you went for it too," Nagi replied, stretching his long limbs. His shirt lifted up, a sliver of skin above his boxers peaking out. Good lord.
"So, how do you wanna..." you trailed of as you sat down on the bed.
"Kiss Nagi," Reo instructed you, authority trickling into his voice.
"Yeah, c'mere," Nagi smiled lazily. Didn't have to tell you twice. You crawled over to the white haired man, who grabbed you when you were in reach. You let out a surprised giggle as he pulled you on top of him, before his lips found yours.
His mouth moved against yours with ease, tongue slipping to brush yours. His large hands settled on your ass, giving little squeezes every now and then. You wiggled your hips in approval, loving the feel of him beneath you. You could feel Reo's on the two of you, watching hungrily as his best friend slid his hands up your shirt.
You sat up, allowing him to pull it off you. You rolled your hips against him, getting him hard beneath you. "Hot," he said, running his hands up your sides before cupping you tits.
You glanced over at Reo, who was obviously hard at the sight of you and Nagi. The way he looked at you two made you cunt throb. "Don't keep us waiting, Reo," you beckoned to him.
The purpled haired man was happy to have an excuse to join. The bed dipped at he crawled over to you. You cupped his face and kissed him while Nagi toyed with you tits. You let out a little gasp as he squeezed your nipples.
"You're hoggin her," Nagi huffed, pulling you back to kiss him again. Reo laid down next to him and you went between kissing both men. Then, when you pulled back for some air, they turned and kissed each other. And fuck it was hot.
You couldn't resist joining in. The three of you kissed, a tangle of lips and tongues. Clothes were shed, hands across bodies, until everyone was breathless.
"Want you on my face," Nagi drawled.
"Think you could give me head during?" Reo asked. He'd been palming himself since you and Nagi started kissing and was desperate for some relief
You nodded eagerly and everyone shifted into a position that would allow everyone to be satisfied. Nagi licked a stripe up your cunt, making you gasp. He attached his lips to neglected clit, sucking. You tried to focus on Reo as you leaned over to kiss down his body. You swirled your tongue over his flushed, dripping tip. You licked up his length before taking him in your mouth.
Reo let out a content sigh as your cheeks hollowed around him. He ran his fingers through your hair, holding it out of your face as your bobbed your head on him. Meanwhile, Nagi continued to devour you, fucking you with his tongue. The moan the escaped you vibrated down Reo's cock, making him groan.
The sound of both of you being pleasured egged Nagi on, his tongue moving faster across your slit and your clit. It only took a few moments more for your to fall apart, cunt clenching around his wriggling tongue. The sensation of you cumming while sucking him off pushed Reo over the edge. His head feel back as he released on your tongue with a satisfied groan.
"Ride me?" Nagi asked when you caught your breath. It wasn't lost on you that Nagi found away to be involved in this without physically exerting himself much, but with what he could do with his tongue, you weren't mad.
Reo slid his hand down your body, wanting a taste of you. He lazily fingered your cunt open. "Fuck, you got her soaked Nagi," he breathed. "Bet she's gonna feel amazing." He sucked your release off his fingers with a pleasant hum.
You were straddling Nagi's hips, holding the base of his cock to line him up to you. He had his hands behind his head, watch you with a lazi grin as you slid down on him. You breathed through your teeth as you stretched around the size of him. He was easily one of the biggest so far.
"Mmm, just like that," Nagi drawled as you rolled your hips. Reo slid behind you, wraps his arms around to play with your tits. He tweaked your nipples, making you yelp. "Oh she liked that, Reo. Can feel her squeezing me."
Reo chuckled against your skin, continuing to palm your breast while your rode his best friend. Nagi cock twitched at the side of Reo kissing and touching you. "I think she'll really like this," nearly purred. His hand slid down your body, finding your aching clit.
"Fuck," you cried as he rubbed quick circles over the bud. Your hips stuttered as you tried to keep pace despite the bubble of pleasure growing in your tummy. Nagi finally decided to help you out, gripping your hips to fuck up into you. The sensation of him deep inside you as Reo toyed with your clit burst that bubble, euphoria flooding your veins.
Nagi fucked you through the orgasm, chasing his own high. You were totally spent, but that didn't stop of the boys from playing with you. A familiar sensation built up, but you didn't even have the voice to warn them before gushing all over.
"Fucking hell," Nagi groaned at the sight of you squirting on his cock. His release hit him immediately, pressing deeply into you one last time to fill you.
"God that was hot," Reo said. He helped you off Nagi, as your legs were like jelly. He ran to get a towel, helping you both clean up.
"So, did that live up to your bucket list expectations?" you asked.
Both men grinned. "Definitely."
Little did they know, they helped you with a list of your own.

You let out a sigh as you checked your phone. Isagi lost his wallet. Again. Practice had ended about an hour ago, but he knew you'd be around organizing all the equipment, which is why you got a text begging you to check the locker room. Of course you would, but not without telling him he's an idiot in desperate need of some air tags.
Typically you didn't go in the locker rooms, since that is where the guys changed, but with practice long over, you felt it was safe. You swept through the few rows of lockers, spying no wallet. You were texting Isagi as much when someone stepped out from the shower area.
"Y/n?" Otoya questioned. He was clad in nothing but a towel, which was hanging dangerously low on his hips. His hair was wet and messy, water droplets were rolling down his toned body. You fought the urge to lick your lips.
"Shit, I'm sorry Otoya," you said, "I thought everyone left. Isagi asked for me to look for something."
He chuckled, seemingly unbothered he was practically naked in front of you. "Let me guess, he lost his wallet."
You nodded. "You'd be right. I'm really sorry, though, I didn't mean to intrude."
He shrugged. "No worries, it doesn't bother me. Hell, I may have asked you to join me if I knew you were here." He tossed it out like a joke, but you could sense a current of truth.
You knew Otoya was a bit of a flirt, so you felt like it was worth the risk to be bold back. "That's too bad, I would have absolutely taken you up on that."
Otoya's eyes widened, clearly surprised his stupid flirting was actually getting him somewhere. "Seriously?"
"Seriously," you nodded, "I mean, look at you. I can't say no to that."
"I mean... I'm thinking I actually need another shower," Otoya replied, "If you care to join."
"Only if you think we won't get caught... you know how Ego is," you replied. This would definitely be risky, even though everyone should be long gone. It was a thrilling thought, pushing the boundary of what you could get away with.
"I'm the last guy here," Otoya assured you, "And I won't tell. I don't Ego on my ass more than he already is."
"Guess I won't be needing these, then." You slipped out of your leggings. "Or this." You pulled off your shirt, leaving you in just your underwear.
"Shit, I think I might be dream." Otoya eyed you hungrily. You giggled as he took your hand, pulling you to the showers. Luckily, Ego put a lot of money into the team's facilities, so the showers were actually quite nice - nothing like the typical grimy locker room showers.
Otoya stepped inside the stall, turning the shower on to a nice, warm temperature. He turned to you, beckoning for you to join him. You closed the curtain behind you, pulling him into the small dry are for a kiss. Otoya happily wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his body. His muscles were warm and firm against you and you could already feel him growing hard through the towel.
He pulled away from you, dropping the towel with a confident grin. You could see why - he was well endowed. He stepped under the water, reaching out his hand to you. "C'mon, I wanna get you wet," he said with a teasing smirk.
You laughed coyly as you shed your bra and panties, Otoya's eyes on you the whole time. The warmth of the water pulled a sigh from you as you returned to kissing him. He pulled away, grinning wickedly as an idea hit him. He lathered up some soap in his hands, rubbing it across your tits.
"You look good like this," he mused at the bubbles coating your skin. The soap allowed his hands to guide over you easily, making it more fun to play with your tits as he kissing you.
He pressed you against the stall wall, his thigh sliding between your legs. You mewled at the feeling of his strong muscle against your needy cunt. He slipped his free hand between you two, toying with your clit. You hummed pleasantly when he slid tow fingers inside, working you open for him.
"God, you're soaked," he said, voice strained. "Can't wait any longer."
"Don't keep me waiting then." You nipped at his lips as he pumped his length, before pressing into you. You gripped his shoulders as he split you open. He gave long, slow strokes as you adjusted to the feel of each other. His pupils flared open as he watched himself slide in and out of out.
Before you knew it, he cupped his hand under your knee, holding it up so he could get deeper inside you. You moaned in satisfaction at the feeling. You knew you should be quiet - you were still in the team locker room even if they should be gone, but you couldn't help yourself.
Otoya loved it, pumping into you harder to pull more noises out of you. His eyes flickered to the detachable shower head, a wicked gleam shining in them. He took it from the wall, aiming the gush of water at your clit.
"Shit," you cried out at the sudden surge of stimulation. "S-so good." You were breathless as your nails dug into him, desperate to hold on.
"Don't hold back," he panted. "Wanna hear you cumming my name." Your leg wrapped around him in response, pulling him closer as you tipped over the edge. Your orgasm hit you hard, the added stimulation of the shower head making it intense. If it wasn't for Otoya holding you up, your knees would have given out.
The sound of his name on your lips as your squeezed him broke his stamina. Otoya slowed as he milked his orgasm, filling you with all he had.
You were both flushed and giddy as you cleaned each other up in the shower. Otoya tossed you a towel after, grinning. "Any time you need a shower buddy, give me a call."
"Will do," you smiled. 3 more to go.

The second semester was progressing and while you only had 3 men left to get through, you felt the pressure to get this bet completed. You were still concerned about Rin, and decided you would tackle him last. You were keeping your eyes and ears open for opportunities for the other two, which Yukimiya thankfully gave you.
You shared a favorite band, who were dropping a new album. Yukimiya invited you over to his place to listen to it. He had record player and a great set of speakers, making the music sound heavenly. You both sat on his bed, letting the songs wash over you.
"I think this is their best album yet," Yukimiya commented as it came to an end. You nodded in agreement as you both launched into a discussion about the music. All the while, you drifted closer to each other, thighs and hands brushing each other. Even if it wasn't for the bet you were working on, you would feel drawn Yukimiya. He was handsome, sweet, and fun to talk with.
"What?" you asked when you noticed him staring at you.
"Nothing," he said with a sheepish grin, "You're just pretty."
You didn't have to fake the blush or the smile that crept across your face. "Thanks, for what it's worth, you're cute."
"Cute enough to break some rules?" Yukimiya suggested playfully.
You feigned offense. "Did you invite me here just for that?"
"Not just for that," Yukimiya teased back, "But I would be lying if I didn't it's something I wanted."
"And I said I wanted it too?" you dropped your voice to a slightly more sultry tone. Yukimiya shifted closer to you at the sound.
"I would say if no one finds out, it doesn't matter if a rule is broken."
"Mmm, I like the way you think." He cupped your face a pulled you in for a kiss. He was slightly more reserved than the other men you'd kissed, but still confident and purposeful. Like he wanted to enjoy himself, but not rush through it. There was something about the slowness that drove you mad, desperate for more.
"Someone's eager," Yukimiya mused as your ground against him. He ran his thumb over your bottom lip, swollen from kissing. "Guess I should get you out of these." He took your shirt in his hand, pulling it off, before peeling off your pants.
"This what you wanted?" He asked as he rubbed light circles over your clothed cunt. A bemused smile played at his lips as he felt your underwear growing damp.
"Want more," you breathed, kissing at his neck as he toyed with you.
"Look at yourself," Yukimiya said, turning your so your back was flush his front. You were facing the mirror across from his bed. Your skin was flushed, the wet spot on your panties glaringly obvious. Yukimiya was peering at you from over your shoulder, a mischievous grin on his face. "So pretty when you're needy."
He pulled your underwear to the side, sliding his fingers through your wetness. He let out a pleased sigh as he slide two digits in, lazily stroking. Once they were coated in your slick, pulled them out to toy with your clit.
"You're good at that," you huffed breathlessly as he worked you up with his fingers. Going back and forth between fingering your cunt and stimulating your clit. The slow, steady increase in his pace had your cunt drooling and desperate for release.
"Fuck you're soaked," Yukimiya groaned, his eyes were glued to the mirror, watching his fingers slide in and out of you. "Gonna cum for me? Make a mess?"
"P-please, want it Yuki," you babbled, so close to the high you wanted. Yukimiya guided you there easily, cursing as your cunt clenched around his fingers and your body shuddered. He licked his lips watching you drip on to his lap.
He was already shifting beneath you, slipping himself out of his pants and boxers. Now he was feeling desperate, wanting to know what it felt like to be buried inside you. "Not done with you yet."
"Good, because neither am I," you replied. You leaned forward and arched your back, making it easier for him to slide inside you. You both mewled with pleasure. You rocked your hips, feeling his cock slide through your walls. You throbbed at the sight of you fucking yourself on him in the mirror.
Yukimiya couldn't tear his eyes away either, though he was looking down directly at where he slid inside you. He wanted more, to make you cum harder on him. You heard him spit before you felt it drop on your ass, warm and wet. He gripped your ass with one hand, while a finger of the other circled the tight hole.
"Oh fuck-" you gasped as he pressed his finger in your ass. That addition alone sent a jolt of pleasure through you, making each grind of your hips more intense. Yuki was transfixed at the sight of him filling you, loving the sounds you made.
You didn't last long after that, his name spilling from your lips as you practically collapsed from the intensity of the climax that hit you. It was light and heavy at the same time, making your head swim.
"Shit y/n," Yukimiya groaned, his cock twitching inside you. "You're like heaven." His head feel back with a groan as he spilled inside you, a beautiful sight for you to watch in the mirror.
Yukimiya helped clean you up before you parted ways with promises to discuss the album more when you weren't so... distracted. A surge of excitement hit you when you realized how close you were to winning.

The Blue Lock team made the playoffs, so, naturally, a party was in order. The house rented by some of the team members was filled with players and their friends, yourself included. Everyone was a bit drunker than normal, celebrating a successful season and boasting about all the goals they would score in the championship game.
You chuckled as you observed the scene, practically tasting the testosterone from all the posturing. Normally, you would have thought the team house was way too risky, given all the other guys around that could be potential witnesses. But tonight, there was enough of a crowd - and more than enough alcohol - that you were certain, given the right circumstance, you could pull it off. Your body tingled with excitement as you considered your options.
"Hey, y/n," Karasu grinned. He loved to be a little flirty with you, even though it's been months since you hooked up with him. "Were playing spin the bottle in the basement. Wanna come?"
Well, that was certainly an opening. "Sure."
You followed him down to the basement, where a sizable circle was formed on the floor. Some of the faces your recognized, some you didn't. Your eyes flickered Chigiri, who smiled shyly at you. You gave him a coy smile as you settled into a spot.
It took awhile for the bottle to work its way around to you. It was an endless cycle of spinning glass, teasing and giggling as the match made their way to the closet, where they spent 5 minutes kissing. Though, with the flush and panting of a few that left you wondered if they were using their time for a bit more.
When it was your turn, you had to hold in the cheer you wanted to let out as the bottle settled on exactly who you wanted. "Guess it's my lucky day," Chigiri flirted. You grinned; if only he knew how true that was for you.
You both made for the closet, sliding into a heated darkness as the door shut behind you. You felt Chigiri's hands on your waist as you wrapped your arms around his neck. His lips were soft and almost sweet. You wouldn't be surprised if he was wearing some sort of cherry chapstick.
Chigiri was a little shy and tentative as he kissed you, which somehow spurred you on more. You stepped forward, pressing him against the wall. He moaned into your mouth as your body rubbed against his. The sound of it - practically a whimper - unlocked something in you.
You pulled away, just barely able to see the needy look Chigiri gave you through the darkness. "Are you hard, Chigiri?" you purred, ghosting your hand across his jeans.
"S-shit, I'm sorry." he mumbled.
"No need to apologize." You traced circles over the bulge in his pants. "Makes me wish we had more time. I could take care of that for you."
"Really?" he perked up.
"Of course," you replied. You nuzzled against his neck, kissing him. "Wanna make you feel good." You could feel him gulp at your words.
"Maybe...maybe we could go to my room after?" he was struggled to keep his voice even with how your lips brushed against his skin.
"We'd have to be sneaky," you replied, "Don't want us getting in trouble, you know?" Chigiri, unsurprisingly, was on board with whatever you wanted. You a made to go back to the circle, where Chigiri would go back to his room after a round. You would wait 3 more rounds before joining him, as to not arouse suspicion.
That plan led you to Chigiri's room about 10 minutes later, where you found him waiting on the bed for you. You practically pounced on him, not holding back how deeply you wanted to kiss him. Chigiri settled on the bed beneath you, letting you take control.
You stripped him down to his boxers, peppering kissing along his exposed skin. You sat back, admiring how Chigiri looked: skin flushed, hair haloed around him, and a needy gleam in his eye.
"You're so pretty, Chigiri," you hummed, running your finger down his chest. You toyed with the waistband of his boxers, watching him squirm.
He blushed at your compliment. He's not used to being called pretty as a guy, but he liked how it sounded coming from you. He liked even more that you were dipping your hand into his boxers, running your finger down his hard length.
"Bet you'd look even prettier cumming for me," you mused, pulling his boxers off. His tip was flushed a pretty shade of pink and already leaking. "Would you like that?"
"Please," he urged, voice strained with anticipation. You obliged, spitting into your hand and pumping him. You paid extra attention to his tip, swirling your finger over the tip and spreading his pre. You leaned down to press a kiss to it, making him whimper. The sound, the desperation caused your own arousal to pool between your legs.
"So sensitive," you hummed. You pumped his faster, giving an extra squeeze to work him up. You pushed to the point of the edge, just to slow down and hear him whine. You could keep it up for hours, but the desperate way he looked at you wore through your patience.
"F-fuck y/n, 'm-m close," Chigiri stumbled over his words.
"Cum for me, Chigiri," you purred. You watched as his tummy dipped from the effort of his release. He whimpered loudly as he came all over you hand and his tummy. "Good boy."
Chigiri let out a little whine at your words. He already getting hard again as he watched you lick up his release. You made your way back to his lips. You finally started to remove your clothes, letting Chigiri catch his breath and feel your body. By the time you were bare, he was rock hard again.

The energy in practice was tense, despite the team having won the semi finals and punched their ticket to the championships the night prior. The game, however, had been way too close, entering over time. Blue Lock got won by the skin of their teeth, thanks to the tie breaking goal by Rin.
"You idiots better not play like that in the finals," Rin snapped at the end of practice.
Barou bristled. "I could win the whole damn championship myself."
"Oh yeah? We only won yesterday because of my two goals," Rin fired back. "If it wasn't for me you'd be watching the championship from the stands."
"We all contributed, Rin," Isagi intervened. "You acting like a pompous ass isn't going to win us the championship."
"Nobody asked you, Isagi," Rin practically spot.
"Don't waste your breath, Isagi," Karasu butted in, a mean glint in his eyes. "Rin's just miserable because the only place he can score is on the field."
The group snickered as Rin's scowl deepened. You were surprised at the insinuation - was Rin a virgin? It was somewhat hard to believe given his good looks as status as one of the best athletes in campus but that look on his face...
"Whatever," Rin grumbled, heading away from the group. "When you all have to watch me score a hat trick in the finals, you'll wish you trained more instead of acting like fools."
Everyone dispersed after that and you waited a few minutes before following Rin to where you knew he was heading - the yoga room. He was the only one on the team who used it, so you knew you'd find him alone. You joined him on occasion, which he tolerated because you were pretty good at it and didn't bother him.
You knew this was your only shot and, frankly, the only time you felt nervous in this whole ordeal. If anyone was going to say no to you and blow this whole thing it would be Rin. But it was now or never.
"Hey Rin," you greeted. He was already seated on a mat. He gave you a grunt in reply. "Sorry those guys were such assholes to you."
Rin shrugged. "They're idiots. I don't care." Something in his voice told you he might care despite his cool exterior, so you continued.
"They are," you nodded, "But if you wanted those idiots to be wrong, I could help."
His eyes slid to you. "What do you mean?"
"The whole not scoring off the field thing," you replied. "Maybe I'm overstepping, but if what they said it true and you don't want it to be, I would be down."
"Are you offering to sleep with me?" Rin asked. "I don't need pity, you know."
Shit. You had to stay calm. "It's not pity, you're a good looking guy and the best on the team. Why wouldn't I?" You could see the slightest shift in his eyes, so you continued. "Besides, these guys think they're so smart. It would make them look stupid if they were dogging you for something that wasn't even true."
Rin was silent, mulling your offer over. His gaze was intense, but you knew you couldn't look away, couldn't show weakness. Rin was a perfectionist, if he thought you weren't up to his level, he would certainly say no.
"Okay," he said finally. You bit back a cheer. "But I don't want them knowing it was you. I don't need them thinking I got pity sex."
You could have kissed him for making it so easy. "That's fine with me." You made arrangements to meet at his place later that night. He was not one for wasting any time, apparently. His apartment was just how you expected: neat and orderly.
He sat on his bed, looking up at you with a look in his eye you'd never seen before.
"Are you nervous, Rin?" you asked, incredulous.
His brow furrowed. "No." But he couldn't stop the tint from from rising in his cheek.
"We don't have to you, know you," you said. Sure, it would suck to lose, but you wouldn't want it at the cost of making him uncomfortable.
"I'm not nervous," Rin reiterated. "Let's just get it going, okay?"
You rolled your eyes, but sat on the bed next to him. "So romantic."
The kiss was a bit tentative and stiff at first, but Rin slowly warmed to your rhythm. You spent some time like that, just letting him get used to you and not forcing anything too soon. Eventually, Rin's hands ventured to your body, feeling you up. You took it as permission to put your hands on him, climbing into his lap.
This kiss became progressively heated as you explored each other. You ground against him lightly, pulling stifled groans from Rin. He grunted impatiently, pulling at your clothing. You obliged his silent demand, getting your top off. You leaned over him, forcing him to lay back on the bed. He kept his eyes cool and almost bored, but you didn't miss the bob in his throat as he took in the sight of your tits.
"How far have you gone?" you asked, sliding your hand up under his shirt.
"I've fingered a girl," he told you.
"Oh? So is the soccer guy good with his hands?" you teased.
"I guess you'll find out," he replied, pulling you into him. He was growing my sure of himself now, sliding his hand between your legs. He teased you through your leggings as your tongues tangled. Eventually, he found his way inside your pants.
He didn't disappoint by jamming his fingers into you, as you'd fear a virgin would. He took the time to work you wet, before slipping two fingers inside. He pumped them confidently, finding the spot that made your breath hitch.
"Sounds like the soccer guy is good with his hands," Rin mused. You didn't protest as you let him work you up to an orgasm. He rubbed your clit in circles as pleasure rushed your body, making you cry out.
"You know, I'm surprised you are virgin," you commented as you caught your breath. He was good at that.
Rin shrugged. "I was focused on soccer."
You couldn't help but laugh at that, which made Rin scowl. However, he didnt' seem to care anymore as your stripped both of you of the rest of your clothes. "I'm gonna need you to focus on me now," you flirted. "At least for a few minutes."
Rin scoffed. "I'll last more than a few minutes."
You grinned. "Well see about that."
You couldn't lie, it felt good to see the Rin Itoshi falter beneath you as you pressed him inside you. The warmth and wetness was like nothing he had ever felt before. As you moved your hips, there was a flare of panic in him that he would, in fact, spill in you immediately. However, he refused to give you the satisfaction, nor hurt his own pride.
"You feel good Rin," you moaned, putting a little extra emphasis on it just to tease him. Despite your teasing, Rin was holding together better than you expected. He quickly learned your rhythm, finding a way to match your thrusts and press deeper inside you. It shouldn't surprise you, given how Rin approaches soccer. He was never passive about anything, needing to be the best at any new skill he learned.
"Fuck," he huffed, a crack in his calm facade. The feeling of you squeezing him was quickly wearing down his restraint. You were egged on by this show of weakness, bouncing on him even faster. Rin, not to be bested, found your clit once against and circled the sensitive bud.
When your second release hit you, it broke Roin too. The feel of your already tight cunt clamping down on his aching length was too much. He cursed again, fingers digging into your skin as he spilled inside you.
"Honestly, I thought people were over hyping sex," Rin commented as you both redressed, "But now I kind of get why those guys are such idiots about it."
You snorted. "I'm just happy I could help." But even more happy that you just won yourself a bet.
****
"I have to know, who is the best!" Your friend demanded.
"I got a top five for you," you smiled wickedly, excited to share your findings.
In 5th place was Chigiri. You never thought you'd enjoy being the more dominant one, but you thoroughly enjoyed taking charge of Chigiri.
"Of course that pretty boy liked that," your friend grinned.
In 4th place Barou. A bit rough, but he knew how to make it good. Plus, he was by far the biggest on the team.
"Barou having the biggest dick is shocking to no one," you friend commented.
3rd place was a tie between Nagi and Reo. Because you had them together, it was too hard to place them individually. Despite how much you enjoyed yourself, it also felt unfair to rank them higher since they had partner. But fairness be damned they earned a spot on the list.
Your friend sighed wistfully, wishing that she too could find herself between Nagi and Reo.
2nd place went to Yukimiya, which did not shock your friend at all.
"He's so fine, I could have told he'd be up there. But, then who's number one?"
"The winner is..." you made a little drum roll. "Bachira." You had not been able to stop thinking about how he so easily he toyed your body. How easily he pulled out the best orgasm out of you.
"Damn, who knew he had it in him?" you friend commented. "Guess I'm not that surprised he's a freak, though."
"Definitely not surprising, but very appreciated." You smiled, not just because you were a couple hundred dollars richer from winning this bet, but because you were already plotting how you could get some seconds.

he thinks it’s a joke at first. you’ve no real reason to actually want to leave him, right? he’s utterly convinced that there was nothing wrong with the relationship. and to be fair, there wasn’t. other than the fact he was possessive as shit and always had tabs on you. would scare off your friends and constantly linger around you whenever he wasn’t terrorizing the masses. the second he realizes that you’re serious? he doesn’t take it very well. you won’t ever find someone better than him. he won’t let you. just what human could ever be better than him?
“You’re not very good at jokes,” Mark says—voice and expression both hauntingly blank. It sends chills down your spine for the simple fact he’s never had such an empty tone. The way he looks at you is something that you can’t exactly put into words. Maybe he’s disappointed. Maybe he’s annoyed, or expectant, or some other emotion that you cannot be bothered to decipher. Not when there’s blood staining your clothes and his, the floor, your cheeks and his hands. Whatever ‘friend’ you were hanging out with was dead before they’d hit the ground. It’s been twelve days since you had gathered the courage to tell Mark you wanted a break, and it took him this long to take you seriously. Thought, it hadn’t taken much effort for him to take a life. “I don’t know why you thought this was a good idea. . .” He hummed, tilting his head as he crouched down in front of you, watching you tremble like a deer in front of an incomprehensible creature. ”But let’s not do this again, hm?”
Tumblr media
OMNI MARK
calm. at least, he seems calm. but he also doesn’t take you very seriously. acts as he usually does, even asks you when the next date night is. as if he’ll even be able to make it with his schedule and how often he cancels on you. looks at you as though you’ve said something ludicrous when you answer that there isn’t a date night—you’re not together anymore. surely, you don’t know what you’re talking about. if you wanted him to plan the next date, you could have just told him. he’s usually the one that does all the thinking, anyway, so it doesn’t really matter. honestly, what made you think you could walk away from him? the one human he cares for, and you’ve the nerve to try and separate from him? funny.
“We’re not dating, Mark.” The way the two of you stare at each other for a few tense moments is a little awkward, though he doesn’t seem to care. He holds eye contact with you before sighing—like you’re a child who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Like you’ve garnered the nerve to tell some dry joke. “If you have a problem,” Mark starts, arms crossed against his chest as he ignores your exasperated expression, “we talk it out. Like a couple is supposed to do.” “But we’re not a couple anymore. That is what I’m telling you.” You’re attempting to be reasonable, you really are, but you swear up and down he’s making you feel like the crazy one. This has got to be the third time you’ve had this conversation with him, and it hasn’t even been a week. There isn’t any way you can get through to him and you just don’t understand why. Mark scoffs, again, ignoring you. “I’ll make sure I’m not busy. Crime’s been going down, so it should be fine. They’ll manage without me.” “Just kill me already.” You mutter to yourself, unable to decide whether or not you’ll be able to ever get your point across. . . . You’ll just try again tomorrow.
Tumblr media
FULL MASK MARK
more pathetic than mainstream mark. this man is like a wet cat in the rain. tries to maintain distance, but ends up following you everyday, texts you without thinking about it while he attempts to reason that it’s okay. you just need some distance and time, and maybe you’ll both get better. ends up outside your window after a particularly bad fight with a villain he had. he didn’t do it on purpose, he just sort of ended up here. call it muscle memory if you will. all he knows is that he’s a mess without you—needs you like oxygen, can barely think or focus on anything without you. probably the only one that tries to be the best he can be for you outside of the main universe. and probably the only one you didn’t really want to break up with.
“ ‘m sorry.”
“Markus.”
“ ‘m sorry,” Mark sniffles, face tucked into your neck as he clings to you. You’d think of it as pathetic if it were anyone but him, honestly. He’d shown up with your favorite candy and drink, bloody and looking like a stray abandoned on the side of the street. You practically had to drag him through the window when he tried to turn back around. It took a bit of insisting and a med-kit to get him cleaned and patched up, despite him reminding you that he technically didn’t need it. You snapped at him to shut up before inevitably pulling him to your room again—letting him stay the night was an easy decision, almost too easy. As of right now, he was simply listening to the sound of your heartbeat, your soft breathing, enjoying the way your gentle fingers tangled in his hair. It was sweet. Familiar. Something Mark had missed so much it made his heart ache and hurt, to the point felt as though it was being ripped apart. Though, if it were done by your hands, he wouldn’t mind.

toxic!rafe will blow your phone up the second you post something on instagram that he’s ‘iffy’ about.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you posted a photo dump which consisted of some random photos of the beach, some of your friends, one of you and rafe of course, but the one that had rafe seeing red was the last slide, which was you in a bikini. he texted you several times at first, and while you were literally typing your response, he called you. your fingers were typing so fast to respond to him that you accidentally declined the call, and he did not like that. you immediately went to call him back, but another text from rafe rolled in, saying ‘fuck you don’t talk to me we’re done’ you sighed loudly, knowing damn well he was talking out of his ass right now, so you sat back and waited for the inevitable next string of texts to roll in. which they did, only seconds later.
rafe <3: do you get off on making me mad or something
rafe <3: like i’m racking my brain trying to understand why you do the things you do and that’s all i can come up with
rafe <3: and i see at least 4 guys have already liked your post like that’s crazy to me?? thought i told you to block all the guys that followed you?? of course you didn’t
rafe <3: also who even took that pic of you??? bc i know damn well it wasn’t me so who the fuck you posing for with your fucking ass and tits out? WHAT THE FUCK
rafe <3: DO NOT PUT YOUR SHIT ON DO NOT DISTURB answer me rn.
rafe <3: nah it’s cool actually i’m gonna go hit up my other gfs so you have a good night.
you rolled your eyes at that last text, deciding to fully turn your phone off. you knew he would likely try to text or call you again very soon but you didn’t want to deal with it right now. this wasn’t your first rodeo, you knew nothing you could say to him right now would calm him down, so letting him freak out on his own was the best method to his madness.
three hours had passed since you turned your phone off. you had caught up on some reading and turned on your current favorite show, but found yourself interrupted by a knock at your front door. you expected it to be rafe, but instead it was a large bouquet of your favorite flowers and a gift bag. you glanced around to see if rafe was lurking around, but saw nothing. when he freaked out over text and was able to reread his actions, he usually waited a bit longer to show his face as opposed to a verbal argument.
you brought the flowers inside and set them on the counter before grabbing the card attached to the side of the bouquet.
sorry we argued. you are so beautiful and i love you so much. got you a little gift and sent you some money for food and i set your appointment with your nail girl for tomorrow at 10. love you forever baby -rafe
you couldn’t help but smile just a little. the flowers were beautiful and the note was pretty sweet, so you chose to ignore the part where he said ‘we argued.’ you didn’t get a word in, but you let it slide. especially after you opened the gift bag to see the new dior bag you had been wanting.
you hurried to turn on your phone, immediately seeing a $500 apple payment from rafe as well as a new text from a few minutes ago.
rafe <3: hope you like the flowers and bag baby. love you! :)
you: i love them. thanks rafe, love you too
rafe <3: good to hear. lmk what you end up getting for dinner and i’ll pick you up tomorrow to take you to your nail apt. can’t wait to see you baby
you would order yourself dinner that was obviously way less than $500, but you would send rafe a picture and thank him again. you’d facetime him before bed and conversation flowed like nothing had even happened just hours before. he’d ask you what color nails you were getting, tell you funny stories about the old men at the country club and excitedly plan what you two were going to do the next day. the cycle seemed like it would never end, but you often forgot about the bad when he was talking so sweetly to you and all you could think about was how excited you were to see him tomorrow.

Rin Itoshi wasn’t nosy.
He didn’t care about pointless conversations, especially when they had nothing to do with soccer.
And yet, here he was—standing just out of sight, muscles tense, pretending he wasn’t listening to your conversation.
He had only stopped by the locker room to grab his water bottle, but the second he heard your voice, he froze. He had no reason to stay, no reason to care. But then Isagi asked that question, and suddenly, walking away felt impossible.
“So, what’s your type?”
Rin didn’t know why he was waiting for your answer. It wasn’t like it mattered.
But when you hummed thoughtfully and finally replied, he regretted ever pausing to listen.
“My type?” you mused. “I think I like guys who are warm, funny, and super outgoing. Y’know, someone who can make me laugh.”
Rin’s grip on his bottle tightened.
Outgoing. Warm. Someone who makes you laugh.
That was the exact opposite of him in every possible way.
Isagi snorted. “So basically the complete opposite of Rin?”
Bachira gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. “Oof. Critical hit. Poor Rin-chan.”
You laughed, not even denying it, and Rin felt something sharp twist in his chest.
It shouldn’t bother him.
It shouldn’t feel like he just lost a match before it even started.
But it did.
Because, for the longest time, Rin had been harboring a quiet, inconvenient crush on you.
You were everything he wasn’t—bright, sociable, easy to like. People naturally gravitated toward you. You had a way of lighting up any room you walked into, while Rin… Rin was the type to stay in the corner, arms crossed, scowling at the world.
He knew he wasn’t the kind of person people liked. And now, hearing you say it so casually, so easily, just confirmed what he already knew.
He forced himself to walk past you, shoulders tense, pretending he didn’t hear a single word. But as he passed, you turned toward him, blinking in mild surprise.
“Rin? You okay?”
“Fine,” he muttered, not looking at you.
You tilted your head, smiling. “You should smile more, y’know. You’re kinda scary like this.”
Like this. Like always.
Rin gritted his teeth. “I don’t care.”
He walked away before he could see your expression.
Before he could let himself hope.
---
Later that night, Rin lay awake, staring at the ceiling.
It was stupid. He was being stupid.
Why did he care so much? It wasn’t like he ever thought he had a chance.
But still… the thought of you being with someone else—someone warm, someone outgoing—made something ugly coil in his stomach.
He hated it.
Because he wanted to be that person.
But he wasn’t.
And maybe he never would be.
---
A few days later…
“You really don’t think Rin’s attractive?”
Bachira’s voice was teasing, sing-songy, and Rin—who had just taken a sip of water—nearly choked.
You rolled your eyes. “That’s not what I said.”
Rin paused, heart pounding.
“Oh?” Bachira wiggled his brows. “So you do think he’s attractive?”
You huffed. “Of course I do. I’m not blind. He’s probably the most good-looking guy here.”
Rin froze.
Wait. What?
Isagi laughed. “Then why isn’t he your type?”
You shrugged. “I dunno. It’s not like I wouldn’t date him. I just… I always imagined myself with someone different, you know?”
Rin didn’t know.
All he knew was that your words sent his heart into a freefall.
It wasn’t a no.
It wasn’t a never.
And maybe—just maybe—he still had a chance.
Before he could fully process it, you turned to him with a smirk.
“By the way, Rin…”
He blinked. “What?”
You grinned. “It was a prank.”
Rin stared. “What.”
You giggled. “The whole ‘outgoing guys are my type’ thing? I made it up.”
Rin’s brain short-circuited.
Bachira burst out laughing. “Damn, Rin-chan, you looked so pissed the other day.”
“I wasn’t pissed,” Rin muttered, scowling.
You leaned closer, eyes shining with amusement. “Were you jealous?”
“No.”
“You totally were.”
“Shut up.”
You giggled, nudging his shoulder. “Relax, dummy. I don’t actually have a type. But if I did…” You paused, tapping your chin. “It’d probably be someone serious, talented, and a little grumpy.”
Rin’s heart stopped.
Wait.
Was that—was that supposed to be him?
You winked before he could respond, walking off with a satisfied smile.
Bachira patted his shoulder. “Congrats, Rin-chan. You might actually have a chance.”
Rin didn’t respond.
He was too busy trying (and failing) to stop himself from hoping.

Sae Itoshi didn’t consider himself an easily bothered person.
Annoyed? Sure. Impatient? All the time. But bothered? No.
That was, until you decided to test that theory.
The two of you were sitting together at a quiet café, his treat after he made a promise to take you out once he had a break from training. It was rare for him to have time like this, so he enjoyed the peace—until you opened your mouth.
“So,” you started, casually stirring your drink, “I figured out my type.”
Sae raised an eyebrow, sipping his coffee. “You figured it out? What, were you confused before?”
You smirked. “Not confused, just undecided.”
He rolled his eyes. “And?”
You leaned back in your seat, tapping a finger against your chin as if deep in thought. “I think I like guys who are cheerful. Y’know, warm and goofy, someone who makes me laugh all the time. A golden retriever type.”
Sae paused mid-sip.
Slowly, he lowered his cup, staring at you with an unreadable expression. “…Huh.”
You bit the inside of your cheek to keep from laughing. He was so bad at hiding his reactions.
“What?” you asked, feigning innocence.
“Nothing,” he muttered, averting his gaze. He set his cup down, a little harder than necessary. “Just sounds annoying.”
You snorted. “You think everything is annoying.”
“I have good reason to.”
You grinned. “So you’re saying you don’t fit my type?”
Sae exhaled, crossing his arms. “I don’t think anyone has ever described me as warm, goofy, or cheerful.”
“True,” you mused, taking a sip of your drink. “Guess that means I’d never date you.”
Sae went silent.
You expected him to roll his eyes or make some sarcastic remark. But instead, he just stared at you for a moment, lips pressing into a thin line. Then, without a word, he picked up his phone and started scrolling.
You blinked. “Uh… what are you doing?”
“Looking up flights back to Spain,” he deadpanned.
You burst out laughing. “Sae!”
“What?” he said, not looking up. “If I’m not your type, I clearly have no reason to be here.”
You were wheezing at this point. “Oh my God, are you pouting?”
“I don’t pout.”
“You so do,” you teased, leaning forward with a smirk. “What, did you want me to say you’re my type?”
Sae clicked his tongue, locking his phone and slipping it back into his pocket. “I don’t care what you say.”
“Uh-huh.”
“I don’t.”
“Sure, sure.”
You took another sip of your drink, watching him struggle to keep his expression neutral.
“…It was a prank, by the way,” you finally admitted, grinning. “I made that up.”
Sae’s eye twitched. “You’re an idiot.”
“I know.”
Silence. Then—
“…What’s your actual type?” he muttered, not quite meeting your gaze.
You shrugged. “Not sure. But if I had to choose…” You leaned forward slightly, voice teasing. “I think I like serious, talented guys who pretend not to care but totally do.”
Sae’s grip tightened around his coffee cup.
“…Huh.”
You smiled. “Still booking that flight?”
He scoffed, rolling his eyes—but this time, there was the slightest hint of a smile on his lips.
“Shut up.”

“You shouldn’t be up this late”
Bakugo’s voice whispered, filling the silence in the dorm kitchen. He was right, and usually you weren’t. You valued your sleep, often being one of the first in the class to call it a night. But tonight was different. Your thoughts, your heart, were restless. Despite following your nighttime routine, which was curated specifically to help you wind down and rest, you still found yourself tossing and turning. Not even your ocean sounds could help you drift to sleep. Thats why when Bakugo spoke, you sighed heavily and let your shoulders droop.
“Yeah. I know.”
He took a few steps toward you, leaning against the countertop. “So what’s got you awake?” You shrugged at him, watching the water in the electric kettle begin to form small bubbles. “Dunno…just can’t sleep I guess.” You looked over to him, taking soft note of his tired eyes and disheveled hair. “And you? You aren’t usually awake at this time either.” He shrugged right back at you. “Dunno…can’t sleep I guess” he echoed your words, and it made you smile just a bit.
You both knew why the other was awake, or at least you both had some inkling. Between how the ambush attack played out and Midoriya running away, neither of you have had time to really process all of what has gone on. You haven’t had time to think about how your lives had been flipped one eighty. But since Midoriya was back safe and sound, and there was no real information on the League or their next move, everything was at a standstill. That meant your brain was finally coming up to speed on what had gone on recently…and it was overwhelming. It felt like your mind was in over drive, thinking so many thoughts at once that it was causing you to lose sleep.
“…There’s a lot of water in this kettle. Would you like some tea?” Bakugo didn’t answer, just walked over to the mug cabinet and grabbed both of your designated mugs. Yours had your hero insignia, and he had his. It was Nezu’s Christmas gift for all of the hero course students. Bakugo opened the tea drawer, grabbing you each a packet of sleepytime zen tea before walking back over to you. You worked in silence then, enjoying each other’s company as you made your own cups.
Your relationship with Bakugo was unique. You admired him, even when he was a bit of an asshole at the beginning of the school year. You’ve enjoyed watching him grow and working beside him as a teammate. You were inspired by his tenacity and drive. You liked how smart and witty he was, and how he could be funny even when he didn’t realize it. It also didn’t hurt that he was actually pretty cute. And all of the same things went for you in his eyes. He admired your kindness and your courage. He was inspired by the way you had such a big heart but you were no push over, standing up to him when he got too rough with his words or during training. In his eyes, it was like you were one of the only people to give him a chance, getting to know him past his rough exterior. You two had gotten closer during the year, training and studying together sometimes. You began to sit next to him for lunch, stealing small pieces of chicken from his plate while he stole beef from yours. You were the only one with that privilege. Eventually, you became this unlabeled, unspoken thing. You didn’t have to confess your feelings because he knew, and you knew how he felt about you even if he’s never admitted it.
You softly sipped your tea, allowing the warm liquid to run down your throat and causing you to sigh. He stirred his own cup, watching the spoon go around and around. Technically, there was nothing else for you two to do in the kitchen. Technically, you could’ve parted ways right here and drank your own cups in your rooms. But you couldn’t bear to leave him. Deep down, you both didn’t want to be alone tonight.
“Bakugo?” He looked up as you said his name. “Could I sleep over in your room tonight? I don’t think I want to be alone”
All he did was scoff, pick up his mug and began walking towards the staircase. When he realized you weren’t following, he scowled and turned to look at you.
“Let’s go brat. I’m missing out on my beauty sleep”

"Is this always how they act?" Jonathan asks. He has to lean close and yell a little for Robin to hear him over the noise of the house party.
"Yup," she says.
She, Jonathan, and Argyle continue to stare at Eddie, sitting in an easy chair, Steve perched happily on his lap. Eddie has a whole bowl of bbq Lay's, and Steve will lean back for a chip, which Eddie feeds him with a smile.
"And they're definitely not dating?" Argyle asks when Steve leans back to whisper in Eddie's ear, mouth pressed close. It's deeply gratifying that they just got in from California and already they see it.
"Steve says no."
"You think he's lying?" Jonathan asks.
"I think he doesn't realize he likes Eddie yet."
Eddie tugs at Steve's hair, and Steve turns back, gives him a smile that's so intimate Robin can't stare directly at it. Instead, she turns to her friends, but Argyle is still watching Eddie and Steve. He's drumming his fingers against his chin, expression what Robin could only call mischievous.
"What are you planning?" Jonathan asks.
"Just helping some bros find true love."
Jonathan looks mildly concerned but before he can say anything, Nancy makes her appearance. And they're something, becoming something, and she cares about Eddie and Steve getting their shit together, but Nancy is smiling and she's so, so pretty. It's easy to get lost in the blue of her eyes and the sweep of her hair and forget about everything else.
---
A few hours later and they're all sitting around a coffee table in the basement, just the six of them. It's sort of funny, she thinks, how it always ends up being the six of them.
They're crossfaded already, but that hasn't stopped Eddie and Argyle from lighting another joint. Her thoughts have gone light and floaty, all that's holding her to earth the press Steve's leg and Nancy's hand against hers.
Argyle is sort of monologuing and she doesn't think any of them are paying much mind, but then he stops mid-sentence, grips Jonathan's shoulder tight enough that his knuckles go white. "Dudes. What if we played Truth or Dare?"
Nancy snorts. "Not on your life."
"I don't think I can move?" She says. She leans into Steve, sighing with contentment.
"I, for one, would love to see Buckley complete a dare," Eddie says.
She sticks her tongue out at him. "I've done plenty. Band kid, remember?"
"Ugh, curse the horny trumpeters." Eddie slumps on the coffee table in defeat.
"I'll have you know, they were very wholesome games."
Steve squints at her. "Wasn't there an orgy in someone's pool?"
She sniffs, looks away instead of answering, which makes everyone laugh.
"Speaking of sex," Argyle says. "No one catch your eye tonight, Harrington?"
"Wasn't really looking."
"That's new," Jonathan says.
Steve laughs. "I'm tired of hooking up."
He's told her that too, countless times. She thinks the real reason he hasn't dated in months is sitting right next to him, drumming his fingers on the coffee table.
"Maybe you've just lost your touch," Argyle says.
"I have not!" Steve clutches a hand over his heart. "If I wanted to, I could pull any girl upstairs."
"C'mon, my dude, no way you're that good."
"I was!" He looks to Robin, Nancy, Jonathan. "I was, back me up!"
"I don't know, Scoops wasn't your best work," she says.
"No, no, we said Scoops doesn't count! It was the hat. The outfit! I did fine after!"
"I happened to think the sailor costume was very cute," Eddie says.
"Thank you," Steve preens. He shifts away from her to lean into Eddie, who grins.
"I don't think we can trust Eddie's judgement here," Nancy says.
Steve points at her. "Yes, and I remember you being totally uninterested."
She squeaks in indignation, Robin smothering her own giggles behind her hand. "It was--it was hormones!"
"Yeah, very uninterested in me." Jonathan chimes in. There's a little second where no one reacts--the fact that Nancy was technically still with Steve when that happened ringing unspoken between them--before Nancy and Steve start to giggle.
"I've hooked up with everyone I've ever tried to," Argyle chimes in, nonchalant.
"No way," the whole group says.
"I've got the touch."
"C'mon, that literally can't be true just by like...stats," Steve says.
"Don't know what to tell you, my dude." Argyle's smile is smug. "I'm really good."
"You're just jealous," she tells him. She nudges his shoulder so he knows she's joking.
"No! Jealousy has nothing to do with it."
They erupt at that, calling out the obvious lie.
"I'm not upset!" Steve shouts over them. "I'm just saying, it didn't happen. Sorry, Argyle. You have bizzaro charm, but there's no way it has a 100% success rate."
"Sounds like jealousy to me, Stevie." Eddie cocks his head with a smirk.
"Harrington, you're so cute when you're competitive," Argyle says. "Anyway, it worked on--"
"Don't say Jonathan," Nancy, Steve, and Robin all say.
"Hey! Why not me?'
"Well, it's just--" Nancy waves her hand in the air. "You're. I mean. It's not hard."
Jonathan groans, hides his face in his hands as they laugh.
"I'll prove it to you," Argyle says to Steve. "100% success rate."
"What?"
"I'm going to seduce you."
"Oh, shit," she says.
She knows what's going to happen even before Steve puts his hands on his hips, awkwardly cause they're sitting, cocks an eyebrow, and says, "Okay."
Eddie grumbles something she can't make out, but Steve shakes his head, laughs. "Nah, it's just for fun, right?"
"Until it works." Argyle tosses his hair.
Steve rolls his eyes. "Gimme your best shot."
They rearrange around the table, Eddie and Argyle swapping places.
Everyone is quiet for a second, Steve reaches for his drink. "You got great hands, Harrington," Argyle says.
"I--oh, what?" Steve splutters. He goes a little pink, and Robin thinks it's the first time she's seen him this flustered by a compliment.
"Yeah." Argyle takes his hand, traces along his palm and knuckles. "Big. Strong. Like you could really take care of someone."
Eddie kicks the table, sending it rocking, scattering empty cups and chip bags. Steve is crimson, totally oblivious to Eddie's flailing.
"Thanks," he mumbles. He doesn't pull his hand away. Robin, everyone, is riveted.
"No one's ever told you that?"
"No. No one."
"That's too bad. It's probably all about your hair and your eyes and your body."
Steve smiles and it's one she recognizes, flirty and a little wicked. "You noticed my body?"
Argyle laughs. "Oh, c'mon, you know everyone notices that."
"Would you believe it if I told you I don't get enough compliments?"
"Not on your life."
Steve leans into him, giggles. "Well, worth a shot, right?"
"Always. You wanna know the first thing I noticed about you?"
"Ass, right?"
"It was how much you love your friends but you hide it behind a facade of disapproval. Made me think maybe you weren't used to the love you want to give being reciprocated."
They're all locked in on Argyle and Steve, but she notices Eddie flinch, move like he's about to stand, Nancy reaching out to stop him. She thinks, then, for the first time, that maybe this is mean to him. He doesn't know it's not real.
"Oh," Steve says. His voice breaks, a little, and her heart breaks for him. "I--oh."
"Your ass was the second thing I noticed," Argyle quips and the tension around the table breaks, Steve giggling.
With smooth confidence she never would have expected him to possess, Argyle cards his fingers through Steve's hair. "Just had to touch it for myself." His voice is soft.
"That all you want to touch?"
Argyle grins. "Not even a little bit."
She watches, stunned, as Steve leans in, face almost touching Argyle's. Eddie makes a noise, a pained cough, and Steve leaps to his feet.
"I can't kiss you!" He half-yells, stumbling.
"And why not?" Argyle asks. He's got a wild smile on his face.
"I'm in love with Eddie!" Steve's eyes are wide, panicked.
"I'm sorry," Steve says to him. "Eddie, I--"
But before he can get the words out, Eddie's climbing over the coffee table, sending drinks and snacks flying, the calls for him to get down ignored as he trips into Steve's arms.
"You love me?" Eddie asks.
"I'm sorry I couldn't say it before. I--got in my head about it and I--I hoped it didn't seem like I was leading you on because my words kept getting stuck, and--"
"Sweetheart." Eddie stops him. "I--" He breaks off, notices that the rest of them are raptly listening to the confession. "Do you want to go somewhere we can talk?"
They disappear upstairs, and she turns to Argyle in awe. "I can't believe that actually worked."
"What can I say, I'm a miracle worker. Are there more Doritos?"
---
Early in the morning, they're piled in Nancy's station wagon, Jonathan driving them home. She and Nancy are in the middle seat, Steve and Eddie in the back. Steve's curled against him, face pressed to his neck, hidden by a cloud of hair. She wants to ask what happened, how their conversation went, if they're official and how long Steve's known he's in love, but Nancy moves closer, head dropping to Robin's shoulder. Their fingers entwine and Robin closes her eyes, smiles.
"Tomorrow?" Nancy asks.
She nods. "Tomorrow."

general masterlist
Tumblr media
No way. There is just no way.
Satoru felt his eyes itch and twitch uncomfortably. Despite the opaque black tint of his sunglasses, he could still distinctly see you happily giggling.
“Geto-san, that’s so funny!”
With Suguru. His ride or die. Your massive crush.
Your crisp laughter rang in his ears, scorching his ego and igniting it in flames—that was precisely the reaction he had hoped to receive from you too!
"Aren't they just cute?" Yaga was suddenly beside him with a wistful smile, looking at you and his other student a few feet away. "What do the television say again... a perfect match? In this case, a perfect match made in jujutsu school, then."
And responding to your bubbly self, creating the very picture of perfect match made in jujutsu school indeed, Suguru was every bit as enthusiastic. “Nah, wait until you see this—”
"Perfect match my ass," Satoru grumbled outwardly, rolling his eyes, but he immediately dashed away before his teacher could bonk him in the head for cussing.
It was harmless conversation, or jokes, or whatever. Because Suguru couldn't possibly reciprocate your feelings. His type is women of gravure magazines—Satoru had deemed it as such.
…Right?
At this point, he wasn't in enough denial to say that he didn't like you, because he had made it so clear that he was, in fact, obsessed. He wasn’t shying away from the things he did, which included annoying you constantly, asking you out after school, helping you in missions, and sending you few pick up lines here and there.
And he thought he was certain he could whisk you off your feet. After all, who else could measure up to him and win?
Heh, no one.
(or basically that's just him ignoring the intrusive little voice in his mind that whispered, “Suguru!”)
“So what's with the nice act, huh?” Satoru blew his bangs in a huff as he questioned his best friend with a twinge of dissatisfaction. “Do you like her or something?”
Suguru quirked his eyebrow at him. “What?”
“Don’t play dumb. I have noticed how you two have been joined at the hip lately,” and with deliberate intention to spite his best friend, he made the sourest face as he mockingly recited, “Wait till you see this~”
Instantly realizing what he meant, Suguru burst into a loud snicker. “Come on, Satoru, really? Surely you aren't that petty. We were just chatting—”
“Not that. I know. What I'm asking now is that do you like her or not?”
It wasn't a rare sight to see Satoru with a pout and a frown, and usually he'd humor him. But this time, even Suguru could see that there was something different in the way he asked this. And should he say something that irked him then—
“Heh, so what if I am?”
That's the wrong answer.
Satoru halted abruptly, whipping his head around in sheer shock. "What the heck?"
“She’s a nice junior, kind, easy on the eyes,” Suguru shrugged, flashing him a dauntless smile. “Only a fool would let the chance pass up. Satoru, if you keep dawdling, one of these days, I just might—”
“Wha—hey!? That’s totally foul—!”
“Nah, they do say all is fair in love and war now, isn’t it?”
By a mind-boggling twist of events, apparently his best friend was also a guy after his dream girl. Satoru was irked, challenged, and he would never admit it, but a tiny part of him recoiled because Suguru clearly had an early start and a boost—you favored him first.
This was unexpected, and now he was conjuring up various scenarios of what he should do. He must act fast or else...
Little did he know that Suguru was thoroughly relishing his restlessness.
Tumblr media
Everyone around you said that your relationship with Gojo Satoru... is intriguing to say the least. And especially ever since that one botched mission you two went, you also felt there was a shift in your dynamics.
And if by intriguing they mean him constantly blocking your way and invading your space, then yes, it definitely is.
"Okay, okay, but wait, just hear me out!"
You halted your steps and faced him with an annoyed frown. You really had no time for this. You were about to be sent on a mission. "Gojo, really, can't you just—"
"Okay, I know he's dashing, or whatever," he huffed, the last word he said with a hint of disdain. "But hear me out, and I'm sure you'll reconsider."
"Who are you talki—"
"Who else!? Suguru, of course!"
You couldn't possibly arch your eyebrow even higher, and before you could say anything, he somehow took it as his cue to keep going.
“First, he eats curses. Cursed spirits! He eats them like rice balls! Can you imagine just how foul the taste is?”
"Gojo, I don't have the time—"
"Then! Going from that, just imagine kissing him," he stressed, eyeing you intensely as your own eyes felt like popping out by the sheer suggestion. "What if you taste the cursed spirits rice ball?"
"You're unbeliev—"
"Wait! Can you even kiss him? What if his cursed spirits suddenly pop out of him? Are you willing to kiss his little friends—"
"He's your best friend!" you finally interjected, obviously and utterly in shock by his unhinged rambling. "How could you say all of that?"
"No, you're getting me wrong." Satoru's clicked his tongue. "I'm just listing facts why it's better for you not to end up with him."
You barked a dry laugh. "And? Better with you, you mean? That's awfully biased."
"Why yes of course! Self-promo is never bad," he blatantly retorted. "Let me just tell you aallll you need to know about me!"
He audibly cracked his knuckles and puffed out his chest. "You know already, I'm strong. I can protect you well. My cursed technique doesn't involve eating curses, so you don't have to worry about tasting the said curses on my lips."
How could he blurt all of this with that perpetually playful expression? A chuckle escaped you unwittingly and that only spurred him to go on.
"And I'm handsome!" he boldly claimed, pointing at his face with pride. "And obviously I don't need to say this, but I'm filthy rich—"
At that, you burst into hearty laughter, unable to hold it in any longer.
Satoru's eyes sparkled, lit as if someone had just made his day. "All in all, you know what I mean. Everything with me, all of it is going to be fantastic!"
Even you couldn't deny that all of this exchange had been so amusing. Hilariously so. "You're down bad, huh?" you tried to taunt, although it seemed like a burst of snicker. Yet, you were caught off-guard when he said:
"For you?" his little smirk made your insides suddenly all jumbled up. "Yes."
Huh? What is this? Your bravado faltered a bit as your heart did a somersault inside.
It wasn't supposed to thump this hard. You weren't supposed to feel this overwhelming urge to squeal too. And your face wasn't supposed to grow this hot...
Seeing that, Satoru celebrated his little win, a wicked smile on his glistening lips—that somehow looked rather attractive to you now. "How? Thinking twice now, are we?"
But he couldn't believe that after all this, you would still cunningly retort with, "Ha! You wish, Gojo Satoru."
His stunned face was so comical that you chuckled once again. You wanted to rebuff him more, but before you could, Haibara's voice called you from a distance. "Heeey! Let's go! Or we're gonna be late!"
"I suppose that's my cue," you lightly shrugged, and before you left him in a dust, you could've sworn you saw a flicker of brewing tantrum behind those glasses, which brought a smirk on your face. "See ya, try harder, and I might look at your way."
Satoru was at his wit's end as he saw you sauntering away. What more that he could do so that you could be his? To keep your eyes on him and him only?
And yet, little did he know, in that beginning of summer in 2006, even before you realized it yourself, you had already did.
Tumblr media
Epilogue
In another corner of the school, eagerly spying on you were...
"Wait! Can you even kiss him? What if his cursed spirits suddenly pop out of him? Are you willing to kiss his little friends—"
"Did he just..." Suguru gaped, utterly in disbelief at what his own best friend said of him. "Did he just say that?"
Shoko let out a satisfied guffaw. "Oh, he definitely did."
"I can't believe he's tarnishing my name over a girl."
"Well, you know very well he could do way worse than that just to get what he wants," she threw him a thin smile, while exhaling a puff of smoke. "And hey, you lose. You gotta pay me."
Suguru turned to her in surprise. "Huh? Oh—oh, darn it. Shoko, can't you be less stingy?"
"Well, whose bright idea was it to pull that stunt on him and bet on whether Gojo would approach her in less than a day?"

green-eyed — michael "robby" robinavitch x fem!reader Robby thinks the newest transfer, Dr. Chase, is flirting with you. Things get a bit complicated.
warnings: jealous and insecure trope, robby says something mean, hurt/comfort, dr. chase from house md cameo, not too angsty, happy end—yes, I'm a sucker for it. a/n: I think we can acknowledge that robby is slightly toxic. I mean, he’s emotionally constipated and still hasn’t gone to therapy, I would assume his behavior at work is similar to how he is with relationships—which is probably why he and Collins broke up—so even though this fic could be resolved so easily with good communication, said good communication is sadly something our dear robby and reader don’t have mastered yet. enjoy! masterlist
Tumblr media
Robby thinks it’s been a while since he’s seen you laugh like that. Throwing your head back, tears in your eyes, covering your mouth because that’s a thing you do. And he’s gutted that he’s not the one in front of you being the reason for your laughs. He used to make you laugh like that all the time.
It’s Chase, the new hot-shot transfer doctor. Who has an Australian accent. Who could blame you? He’s young, blonde, blue-eyed, toned—a real life Ken. He’s a damn good doctor, too. The nurses call him Dr. Hemsworth behind his back. Wonderful. Robby hates how easily people gravitate to him. And now it’s your turn.
Robby stands across the ER, jaw tight, eyes flicking between Chase—leaning in to show you something on his phone—and the rest of the room, like maybe he can find something else to focus on. Out of habit, his hand drifts to the back of his neck. Your shoulders are practically touching. A few nurses glance over and giggle. One of them mutters something he doesn’t catch—but whatever it is, it makes his stomach twist.
Robby’s hands curl into fists inside his pockets. It’s stupid. He knows it’s stupid. He trusts you, but some ugly part of him starts whispering things he can’t silence.
She should be with someone her age.
Someone who doesn’t feel like a goddamn relic when she’s in a room full of twenty or thirty-somethings.
His lips press into a thin line hidden under his beard as he storms your way. He doesn’t even realize his legs are moving until he’s about half-way.
“Quit flirting at work. Both of you,” he snaps.
You look up, startled.
Chase lifts his eyebrows, all amused charm. “Just showing her a video, mate.”
Robby doesn’t even look at him. “Go do your job, then.” It comes out sharper than intended, but he doesn’t take it back.
The room goes still for a beat. Chase gives you an apologetic shrug and steps away, but you’re already turning toward Robby, brow furrowed.
“Was that necessary?” You chase after him, keeping up with his big steps.
He doesn’t answer.
“Hey. Robby. What’s going on?” You manage to stop him by the stairwell.
“Nothing.”
“Come on,” you press, softer now. “Talk to me. Please.”
He halts, jaw tight, eyes not quite meeting yours. “Something funny happen during rounds?”
“What?”
“Just… looked like you were having a real good time.” He doesn’t say it mean, exactly.
You blink. “With Chase?”
He shrugs like it’s nothing. Like your laughter a few minutes ago didn’t go straight to his chest and start twisting. “You tell me.”
You step in front of him, blocking his path. “Robby… are you jealous?”
“I’m just saying,” he mutters, crossing his arms, “I’m not young, or charming, or built like a damn Marvel character. Sorry if I don’t love watching people act like you two were—”
You stare at him, stunned. “You think I was flirting with him?”
“I think everyone sure thought you were.”
There it is. Not quite an accusation. Not quite a confession. Not quite fair, either. But honest in a way Robby can’t seem to help right now.
“It looked like you actually wanted to be there,” Robby says. “With someone who suits you better.”
That breaks something open inside you. “What the hell does that mean?”
“It means this”—he gestures vaguely, bitterly, between you—“was a mistake.”
And that stings, even if you know he’s only saying that because he wants it to hurt you. “Really, Robby? You can tell that we’re a mistake because Chase was talking to me?”
“It’s not about him,” Robby snaps. “It’s about you eventually realizing I’m too old, too tired, too fucking cynical for you. And when that happens, I’ll be the one left picking up the pieces, wondering why I ever thought I could be enough.”
And then you realize. This is not jealousy. This is insecurity. Now you see the desperation in his eyes, but his shoulders are still so high and tense it masks it. You see the way he shuffles around, can’t seem to quiet down his own thoughts.
“You’re wrong.” You say.
“You can’t know that.”
“I do. Because I’ve already chosen you.”
Robby looks at you, and for a second, something flickers behind his eyes—hope, maybe—but he kills it quickly, walls going back up.
“I need to get back to work.”
You reach for his hand. “Robby—”
He pulls away. “Don’t.”
That single word makes you stop. And then he’s gone, out the stairwell door and back into the ER, leaving you in silence.
Robby knows he messed up. He knows you didn’t deserve that. But his heart’s pounding like he just ran a mile, and he can’t stop the thought looping over and over: that you’ll realize he’s right sooner or later. And then eventually, you’ll just leave like everyone else does.
So Robby does what Robby does best. He runs. He buries it deep, distracts himself just enough to keep from falling apart. Lets it all pile up behind a steady face, hoping it won’t spill over. And if it does? That’s a mess for later.
You decide to give Robby some space—after multiple attempts to approach him and him avoiding you, and finally find him at the end of your shift, standing at the exit, hands in his pockets. You know he’s waiting for you, and he always will, even when he’s doubting himself, even when his world is crashing down. Because that’s who Robby is. He shows up for people even when he’s hurting. It’s what makes you love him so much, and it’s killing you that he’d do this to himself.
You stand next to him. “You ready to talk?”
His head lifts to look at you slowly. He sighs, rubs his hands down his face. “No, not really. But I have a feeling we’re doing this anyway.”
“You don’t get to say all of that and just walk away, Robby.”
He shakes his head. “I didn’t mean to—”
“Yes, you did.” You cut in, soft but firm. “That was preemptive damage control. You meant to hurt me before I could hurt you.”
His lips twitch, but he doesn't say anything, just looks down because he knows you're right.
You sigh softly, reaching for his hand. This time, he doesn’t pull away.
“You think you’re too old for me? That I’d leave you for someone else? God, Robby—” You squeeze, cupping his jaw so he’ll look at you, and his own doubt in himself kills you. “I love you. I want you. You, who listens to me when I don’t even know what I need. Who calms me down with one look. Who knows me better than myself.”
He’s staring at you now, eyes locked on yours, holding his breath because he’s afraid to hope.
“I don’t care if people think we don’t ‘match.’ I don’t care if you have lines on your face or if your knees make that weird sound when you stand up. I love you. Even when you push me away because you don’t believe you’re enough—but you are, Robby. You’re more than enough.”
“I never once looked at you and wished for someone else. I look at you, and I thank God it’s you.”
His eyes are red, doubt and exhaustion evident, and he keeps staring down at your intertwined fingers—like if he lets go, he’ll lose something he can’t live without.
“Okay?” you whisper, nudging him gently.
Robby doesn't say anything at first. His eyes are glassy, the corners red, and he swallows hard like the lump in his throat might choke him if he tries to speak. He's looking at you like he doesn't know what he ever did to deserve you.
His lips part. Nothing comes out.
He tries again, and still—nothing. Not because he doesn't have anything to say, but because there's too much he wants to say. Because you just shattered every wall he’s built with so much certainty and care, and now all that’s left of him is the raw truth of how deeply and desperately he loves you.
So he just nods, a little breathless, and pulls you into his arms. He hugs you tight in front of the ER, deciding that he doesn’t care—no, fuck it, he wants everyone to see. To see that he has you now. That he has someone he cares about. Someone he loves.
“Okay,” he says, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
You finally let out a breath of relief, sinking into him, your arms tightening around his waist. “Still think this was a mistake?”
He exhales slowly, resting his chin on your head. “No. But I think I’m going to need a lot of reminding.”
You hum, lips brushing the nearest patch of skin you can reach. “I’ve got time.”

neighbor!reader x simon 'ghost' riley pt 6
masterlist
The morning after you had shared a bottle of wine with your mysterious neighbor, Simon, you woke up to a new bottle of wine and your wine glasses, washed, from the night before on your welcome mat. You had expected the glasses, since you had forgotten them at his place after all, but not the wine.
Not that you were going to complain about that.
Wine nights with your neighbor, Simon, didn't become a regular thing. You weren't sure he had any regular things. His schedule was completely irregular, he was in and out at odd times, never following any sort of pattern.
Not that you were paying attention or anything.
You had a day off in the middle of the week, for some reason, and you decided to fill the day with baking, because why not? The weather was getting colder, the days seemed to get shorter, and you just needed something to lift your spirits.
It was just past eleven in the morning. Your Bluetooth speaker was playing absently in the background as you baked. You had already finished a few batches of cookies, making extras of the ones you knew were Simon’s favorites-
Not that you paid attention. Literally. At all.
It wasn’t until you were on your second loaf of chocolate chip bread that you finally looked up, for some reason, and there it was. The biggest spider you had ever seen in your life, right on the ceiling above your oven.
And you let out a scream.
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley heard that scream.
He immediately knew it was you, and that it had come from your apartment. If his mask hadn’t already been on from when he had run his morning errands, he probably would have forgone it entirely in his haste to get to you, to the source of your cries.
However, he didn’t expect the reason for your scream to be a spider on the ceiling.
“Can’t reach it from down there?” He almost sounded amused.
You jumped when you heard his gruff voice behind you. “Simon-! How did you get in-?”
“You left the door unlocked. Again. You need to stop doing that,” he chastised you before brushing you aside to get a better look at the beast on the ceiling. “Huh. That’s what made you scream?”
“Maybe…”
“It’s just a spider, love. It won’t hurt you.”
“I don’t like spiders,” you grumbled as you watched him grab the spider with his bare hands without even having to grab a step-stool, get on his tip-toes, or anything. His muscles seemed to bulge through the simple black t-shirt he was wearing with the movement. You couldn’t help but stare, although you tried not to look like you were gawking.
Damn.
“Clearly,” he hummed. “Are you baking again?”
That brought you back to reality, at least a bit more than you were. “Oh-! Yeah, I am,” you replied. You thought about making a joke about how you weren’t baking again, you were baking still, but you decided it wasn’t funny enough of a joke to try out on your neighbor. “Was it the smell that gave it away?”
“That, and the flour on your apron,” he replied gruffly, though you could almost hear a chuckle in there somewhere.
You could feel your cheeks heat up a bit, but you couldn’t tell why. Of course you had flour on you- you were baking, after all. Why were you blushing that he pointed it out?
“What have you been baking this time?” he asked you, still holding the spider in his bare hand. His gaze had shifted to the multitude of baking racks around your kitchen and on your dining room table, mostly filled with cooling baked goods. Cookies, dessert bread, muffins-
“Oh, just a little bit of everything,” you answer absently. “Anything that looks good to you?”
Now, Ghost had a decision here. He could go with the safe choice- picking a dessert that you had made, and you would likely let him have some, if not all of it. That was almost a guarantee, in his mind.
But he could also go with the wild card choice. He could say something that looked good to him that wasn’t something that you had baked that morning. But that was the more risky option. It could go one way or another, and quickly at that.
“Are those snickerdoodles…?”
He went with the safe choice. For now.

hi! can i request more jealous/possessive nicholas? perhaps with some making up?🥹
ty!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❛ 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 ❜ . . . nicholas chavez
SUMMARY, Nicholas and his girlfriend get into a heated argument after he ignores her all night while out with friends, leading her to turn off her location and go out.
A/N, thanks for requesting!! hope u like it
WARNINGS, none
Nicholas knew he had messed up the second he walked through the door. His phone had been blowing up with unread messages, but he had ignored them—too caught up in the chaos of the night with his friends. She was sitting on the couch, arms crossed, glaring at him like she had been waiting for this confrontation all night.
“You couldn’t send one text?” she snapped as soon as he stepped inside, her voice sharp. “Not one?”
Nicholas sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. “I told you I was going out with the guys. What’s the big deal?”
“The big deal is you disappeared! You didn’t answer my calls, didn’t respond to any of my texts. Do you know how that looks? Like you couldn’t care less.” Her eyes flashed with anger, and Nicholas could feel his own frustration rising.
“I was just out having a good time. Why are you blowing this up into something bigger than it is?”
“Because you don’t get it!” She stood up, her voice getting louder. “You always do this. You vanish with your friends and act like I don’t exist for the whole night. It’s like I’m not even on your radar when you’re with them.”
Nicholas clenched his fists, feeling cornered. “I wasn’t ignoring you. I just… didn’t think it was that big of a deal to be off my phone for a few hours.”
“A few hours? Nicholas, it was the entire night! I was worried about you!”
She turned away, grabbing her bag and phone from the counter. Nicholas could see her fingers tapping at her screen, and his stomach twisted when he realized what she was doing.
“Seriously?” he asked, watching as she turned off her location. “You’re pulling this again?”
“If you can’t bother to text me back, then you don’t get to know where I am,” she said coolly, her eyes daring him to say something. Without another word, she stormed out of the apartment, leaving him standing there, frustrated and angry.
Hours passed, and Nicholas was left stewing, replaying the argument over and over. She had every right to be pissed, but the way she just shut him out like that, like he didn’t matter… it made his blood boil. He picked up his phone to check if she’d cooled off yet, but instead, he saw it—a new Instagram story.
She was at the club. Smiling. Laughing. And there, standing next to her, was some guy.
Nicholas’s heart pounded in his chest as he grabbed his keys and headed out the door. He knew where she was. He wasn’t about to sit there while some random guy made her laugh like nothing had happened.
When he got to the club, it didn’t take long to spot her. She was leaning against the bar, talking to the same guy from her story. Nicholas’s jaw tightened, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. She was doing this on purpose. She knew he’d see it, knew it would set him off.
Without a second thought, Nicholas pushed through the crowd, his eyes locked on her. He reached her in a few quick strides, his hand gripping her arm, pulling her away from the guy before either of them knew what was happening.
“Nick, what the hell?” she protested, but he didn’t stop. He dragged her through the crowd, ignoring her complaints until they were outside in the humid night air. He didn’t let go until they reached his car, opening the passenger door with more force than necessary.
“Get in,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.
She hesitated, eyes flashing with defiance, but she got into the car, slamming the door behind her. Nicholas got in on the driver’s side, gripping the steering wheel to calm the storm inside him before turning to face her.
“You think that was funny?” he growled, his voice barely controlled. “Turning off your location and posting that story, letting me see you with him?”
She glared at him, her arms crossed. “Maybe now you know how it feels when you disappear on me for a whole night.”
“That’s what this is about? Payback?” His voice rose, his anger spilling over. “I was out with my friends, but you—what? You run off to the club, posting stories, talking to random guys just to piss me off?”
“I wasn’t trying to piss you off, Nicholas,” she shot back, her voice sharp. “But maybe I wanted you to notice. Maybe I wanted you to feel what I felt when you ignored me all night.”
“Well, congratulations. You got my attention,” he said through gritted teeth, his eyes dark with frustration. “I don’t like seeing you with other guys.”
“Maybe if you actually paid attention to me, I wouldn’t have to find someone else to talk to.”
Nicholas’s temper flared, and without thinking, he reached out, pulling her closer, his grip firm but not rough. “You don’t need anyone else,” he said, his voice low and possessive. “I don’t want you talking to anyone but me.”
Her breath hitched, their faces inches apart now, the tension between them thick and charged. She tried to stay angry, but there was something about the way he was looking at her, the raw intensity in his eyes, that made her pulse quicken.
“You don’t get to ignore me and then act like you own me,” she said, her voice faltering slightly, though the fire in her eyes hadn’t dimmed.
“I do own you,” Nicholas growled, his hand still gripping her waist. “You’re mine.”
For a moment, the air between them was heavy with everything they hadn’t said. The anger, the frustration, the possessiveness—it all tangled together in the space between their heated breaths.
She opened her mouth to argue, but before she could, Nicholas’s lips crashed against hers, silencing whatever protest was about to leave her mouth. She resisted for half a second, but then she gave in, kissing him back with the same intensity, the same fire.
The kiss was rough, desperate, fueled by all the emotions they had been keeping bottled up. When they finally pulled apart, their foreheads resting against each other, they were both breathing hard, the anger between them replaced by something rawer, something deeper.
“I hate it when you shut me out,” Nicholas murmured, his voice softer now, though still laced with possessiveness. “I hate it when you go to someone else.”
“I only do it because I’m scared you don’t care,” she whispered, her fingers brushing his jaw, softer than before.
“I care,” he said firmly. “More than you know.”
They sat in silence for a moment, the tension easing as they held each other. Eventually, she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder.
“I don’t want anyone else but you,” she admitted softly.
Nicholas pulled her closer, kissing the top of her head. “Good. Because you’re mine.”
They stayed like that for a while, their earlier argument forgotten, replaced by the certainty that, no matter how much they fought, they always found their way back to each other.
