once again thinking about how andreil is actually the perfect relationship because of how deeply they both understand each other and how they are the only ones to do so. thinking about the first time neil opens up to anyone and it's to andrew in tfc and the look in andrew's eyes is "perfect understanding". and the same look in his eyes right before he kisses neil for the first time when neil is at the end of his rope, and andrew understands because he's been there too. neil knowing when to push andrew and when to leave him be. neil understanding that andrew is primarily self-destructive and more of a harm to himself than to anyone else and asking him "how have you survived this long when you're so violently self-destructive?". neil being the only one who actually wants andrew off his drugs for his own good, not for exy or out of curiosity. neil never forcing or coercing andrew into doing anything he doesn't want to do, he gets what he wants simply by asking, and that's enough. andrew's interest in neil turning into understanding turning into care turning into love, against his will. their hours-long conversation on the bus in tkm where they literally just yap about their lives without any transactions or deals involved. them learning to talk to each other without the exchange of truths. their first ever proper conversation back in tfc when neil thinks he's talking to aaron, showing how they can actually talk and communicate and have a good conversation. neil always taking andrew at face value rather than making assumptions based on his past or his attitude. the trust they have in each other even before they ever get together. them genuinely enjoying each other's company, the way no one else does. nora sakavic you invented love actually.

main timeline timebomb is strictly platonic, in my opinion, but i also think that there’s a reason for that.

more than anything, jinx needs a friend. throughout the series, she’s never had a FRIEND. she’s had a sister, she had a child who depended on her, she had people who cared about her like sevika, but she never had a FRIEND. and that’s why ekko being there for her platonically is miles more important than him being there for her romantically.

i keep seeing posts saying he loves powder, not jinx, and they make me so angry because it’s simply not true. he loves powder romantically, because that universes powder didn’t need friends because she already had them.

jinx, however, has no one, especially after isha dies. vi is too caught up in caitlyn, sevika is off doing her own thing, silco is gone—she has no one there for her. jinx didn’t need romantic love, she needed a friend, and so that’s what main timeline ekko was for her—and to me, that’s more beautiful than any romantic storyline they ever could’ve written. ekko loved her enough to stop her from killing herself. ekko loved her enough to seek her out.

ekko came to her, just as reed shannon said, as a friend, because he loves her, and that’s the sweetest thing he could’ve done.

listen I know everyone is being super normal about stuff in Icarus's mind palace, and we've talked about a lot of he things in there but also.

can we pay attention to the fact that the flock is in there. like I don't know if I currently have enough brain cells to articulate why that's important to me but like.

they've been with Icarus no matter what. no matter what changed, (literally in terms of wack) the flock was around. And even when they were barely focused on taking care of themself Icarus always made sure they were alright. They spent so much time building aviaries for them and some of them slept on their bed and his last request was for Rae to take care of them.

anyways I think we should all be super duper normal about the flock pretty please for my sake<3

So I would like to rant about Bodoc because (slight onyx Storm spoilers?)

Bodhi as we know feels forgotten, overlooked and left behind.

And you have Ridoc who is this shining loud presence who does everything at 100% all the time.

Can you imagine how loved Ridoc is gonna make Bodhi feel? Ridoc’a loud unapologetic intense love is exactly what Bodhi needs.

And Bodhi is exceptional, so good in everything he does, and he will take Ridoc seriously, not just see his unmatched sense of humour but also all his strength because he’s so observant and I just love them and please make them canon.

(also Xaden saying that Bodhi is exceptional 🥹 I want more of their bond please they are the only blood family they have left)
