My personal thoughts on some limbus company ships that are in my head. However, I only read up to canto 5 + festive intervallo ... also I am an outis fan and it shows.

TIER 1

i want to chew outis (as three genders)

This one is explanatory. I love Outis a LOT so I dedicate a tier just to talk about my fav pairs featuring her; all of which have characters that I project into a bit.

Dante x Outis: The Nobody (forgor) and The Nobody (???). I think this one is CLASSIC considering that Dante is the "player-insert" character to some extent. However, PM establishes that Dante is also their own character with unique lore, personality, and interactions (thank god because if Dante is an actual reader-insert, my aegosexuality would never let this ship work for me). Outis treats them very oddly compared to the way she treats the rest of the cast—which I find either amusing, hilarious, and or intriguing. Her respect for them is questionable yet ridiculously over-the-top in the facade(?) she set up for them. I think this ridiculousness around them makes her charming if not enigmatic. I want to see how these two interact the more information about either of them comes out. ALSO nblw sweep. In general I think their dynamic is GLORIOUS.

Yi Sang x Outis: HE JUST KEEPS APPEARING WITH HER AND I WISH THAT WAS MEEEEE 💥💥💥— Anyways there's something lovely about being a soggy pathetic researcher being kept around by a roughened pathetic war criminal. I promise I have more to say about these two but I am sleepy tired zzzzz (their different flavors of cold and somewhat level personalities is very interesting to me when paired together hes #justlikemeforreal and shes being so unawful about it making it really sweet but oh im so okay with it being complicated)

Don Quixote x Outis: I got spoiled a bit on their interactions on canto 7 and i CANNOT WAIT to catch up to that. THEYRE CUTE I CANT HELP IT + NAMEPLATE GANG + FAMILY ANGST TO NAME A FEW. Their energies CLASH in such a great way and I absolutely adore EVERY dontis interactions be it serious or funny. (i want to see outis feeling conflicted about donqui and wrestle with this girl's layers and how it ties to her own narrative as a whole and since donqui is a character who i can somewhat??? project into i also want to see her be jolly goofy to outis iykwim)

It's so funny thinking about it now, how I was just a simple person enjoying summer break, not even aware that in july, on a vacation oversea, they're going to meet a fictional man that will forever change them. To find THE man.

Sephiroth IS my first choice, the one who I love the most, and that is definite.

I dreamed about him, thought about him day and night. My heart would actually start beating faster the moment my eyes would catch even a glimpse of Sephiroth. I sympathized with him, understood him. He made me smiled brighter. I felt... so happier! I was fucking euphoric, even!!! Gosh, I can still remember that feeling, it's SO nostalgic... It's making me feel emotional right now.

I even CRIED for him several times, his terrible past and hard life made my heart ache. I wanted to show this man this love I harbored for him, to tell him how much he means to me. That he is my everything, that I would protect him, care for him, and that nothing could make me stop loving him. Nothing. Not even the fact that he became a villain, a tormentor, a destroyer. A shadow of his former self. A lonely, used, broken man.

There were times when I really wished he wasn't just fictional. So here I am, overwhelmed by this feeling of nostalgy and memories of me getting into Final Fantasy VII. Honestly, the whole game was an insane experience. It got quickly into my top 5 games of all time. The story, the characters, the music,the story, the worldbuilding, everything about it is just MAGICAL.

I wasn't even READY for what I was about to witness, a game so beautiful it changes you! And we're not even done yet! The part 3 of the Remakes awaits! I cannot wait for it to arrive. I wish I could blindly watch it all over again, if I could.

Rise Headcanons Based On Things My Siblings And I Did

Because of the post I just reblogged I was viscerally reminded of things me and my siblings used to do so have this.

Raph supposed to do dishes because it's his night, but he starts the water running and while hes waiting for the sink to fill he gets distracted in the livingroom by a tv show that came on. When Splinter sees the kitchen flooding he freaks out and turns the water off only to ask Raphael (while trying to hold it together cuz hes only ten) why he left the water running. And Raph just looking at him with surprise before "Mikey did it." Without missing a beat only for Splinter to laugh at him and cross his arms. "Try again, Orange cannot even reach the tap."

They go swimming in the sewers and start playing "shark" together with Raph as the shark and he scares them all so badly with it that they race for the sides to get out and while grabbing him, Raph gets kicked in the forehead by Donnie by accident. He doesnt apologize after hes just salty and sulking because he was so thoroughly frightened.

Mikey wanting to spend time with Leo so he is painting on the floor in his room while Leo reads a comic book and part way through he spills the messy paint water onto the rug and stains it hot pink. Leo is very displeased up until Mikey looks like hes gonna cry, then Leo is sighing and saying it's okay. The stain is still there to this day and now Leo just says it "adds character"

Raph stealing the flintstone vitamins when Splinter isn't looking- completely egged on by his younger brothers and then they all sit in their room eating them when they should be sleeping (Raph is the only one who can get past the child safety seal on the bottle) Splinter finds them out pretty fast with Raph once more trying to say his younger siblings did it and Splinter getting Leo, Mikey, and Donnie to try opening it only for them to fail. Splinter just stares at Raph until he confesses.

Raph getting his siblings one at a time to lay in the middle of a blanket before folding the sides up around them and then lifting it off the ground to spin them full force while they laugh and screech in excitement.

Mikey having one drawing he was particularly proud of and Leo meaning to tease him by pretending to rip it only he actually does by accident and then, like an idiot, he commits to the bit and rips it in half. Mikey is devastated and brawls his eyes out for an hour. Leo comes into his room and apologizes of his own accord and then offers to let Mikey destroy one of his favourite posters. Mikey absolutely unleashes hell onto it.

Leo and Donnie would play with Lego and K'nex together while a movie they both like plays in the background. Leo isnt great at it, but Donnie helps him out when he can and in the meantime builds something with ease just by looking at the pictures. (Donnie always steals the good parts and the little toy motors they put in the K'nex sets)

Mikey Leo and Donnie think it's funny to tell Raph they're going to watch a Lou Jitsu movie only for Raph to get comfy on the floor in a pile of blankets and pillows, tail wagging from excitment, only for that goosebumps movie Night Of The Living Dummy to come on. Raph now hates puppets.

Raph chases his younger sibs with things they're afraid of 100% they think hes finally done but five seconds later when they've calmed down he slowly brings the item out and instantly theyre racing away from it all over again.

Donnie preferring no one else to be in his lab so Mikey just sits outside of the door and leans against it, trying to pretend be wasn't there when Donnie comes out of the lab. Bonus points if Donnie leaves and Mikey sneaks into the lab and tries to be out of there before Donnie comes back, but it never works out and Donnie is LIVID as he chases Mikey back to his room. Mikey loving to make little box forts and pillow forts, he makes a really REALLY cool box fort once and Donnie is helping him decorate it along with Raph, Leo comes in with bb guns and shoots at the box fort only to realize maybe that's not a good idea when the bb goes RIGHT through the cardboard and Raph comes out and holds him upside down by his feet to shake the bb gun out of his grubby little hands.

Mikey got a good percentage of his music taste from his brothers but as they got older and he still listened to some of it, they taunt him relentlessly about his music choices even when he reminds them he got his taste from them.

ACH i’m glad I really love ’em… omg I have so much to say about the novels I feel like I’m gonna ramble for a hundred years but TLDR; they’re the terok nor trilogy and they’re called night of the wolves, dawn of the eagles, day of the vipers, and are about the occupation of Bajor from the cardassian DS9. the ones concerning baby odo’s upbringing are dawn of the eagles and night of the wolves:)

honestly i skimmed them a lot for character parts because the writing and OCs didn’t really have me hooked personally, but oh man those parts were stellar. It skips a lot since it follows a lot of chsracters but we get Odo learning to talk, babbling like a baby and being a creepy little slime baby not knowing how to make a real body :) Just adored it! Also his basic education, confusion about gender(yayyy), confusion about identity, and very downplayed but still present mora brand parental abuse. more details and rambles about the novels and details under readmore LOL

Also, Odo’s first years outside. We also get his days as an officer. One ”oh huh” thing is that Mora says it’ll be at least 10 years til he’s can think and function like an adult when he starts working, (which I find particularly interesting as he remarks to Laas he first gained sentience 30 years ago in season 7— making him 23 at the start if the show, and the youngest core crew member any way you slice it.) (extra extra funny that In the beginning script Odo was pitched as a ”middle aged clint eastwood type”— gee, that changed quick!)

We also get Kira’s resistance days which I think tend to be written in a kind of corny YA fashion but it might be fun for some people! And also get a Quark Odo meeting much like in — and we also get Odo’s first-first time seeing Kira when she breaks into his lab, which I think is extra gender fun because he thinks she’s a boy before he’s like wait… she has a different vibe…. bit corny but fun:) Odo also helps out with Bajoran resistance fighting as he gains further understanding, and in fact it’s Kira who recommends him for the job of security chief at DS9 so Ok. Interesting.

All in all I’m kindof a snob when it comes to published writing and also I hate most DS9 novels they’re all well, tv tie-in novels but also theu’re either boring as hell, misogynist, racist, or like everyone is an evil sex pervert. The Terok Nor ones are fine, buuuut I would honestly skim if you’re not a diehard for lukewarm space politics, I don’t think the conflict or OCs are especially interwsting and the first book is just about Dukat and Doesn’t explore him in any way I personally find interesting. Dawn of the eagles can be found on internet archive but the others aren’t hard to find Somewhere if you catch my drift.

Also if by any chance you’re interested in any other DS9 pockets my two cents are the only ones that are fun are:

what a fucking doozy, yall. that was hard to watch, but damn was it done well. some notes, thoughts, observations from me: (all /rp and in regards to characters unless noted otherwise)

wilbur, predictably, totally brushed tommy off when he presented all of the stone he’d gathered. “i forgot i asked you for stone lol” OUCH.

 tommy’s body language acting REALLY leaped out here: his expression instantly fell in disappointment when wilbur said that (he’d been so excited and proud) (also the stoner bit was so fucking funny lmao) 

even after, when tommy was pretending to bounce back and like it didnt upset him, you could still see in his face the disappointment, thinly veiled. wow. thats subtle shit there. istg does this mans have secret actor training or WHAT

wilbur was dodgy about telling tommy what was in the note quackity left at his grave, and after insistence from tommy, lied about it. but tommy didnt believe him for a second. because he’s been lied to so fucking often

if this stream shows anything, its that tommy has seriously wisened up lately.

relatively small detail, and possibly unintentional but.. wilbur did not run from a creeper. he just stood there looking at it and let tommy kill it 

which could have.. interesting implications (is he still suicidual? maybe. its hard to tell. is he letting tommy protect him? likely)

wilbur snapping at tommy to shut up :’) and not in the fun way. FUCK man, that hurt. imo, THAT’S the real wilbur now.

okay so, the initial scene of wilbur trying to force his way into las nevadas is interesting. q obviously knows better than to let him in his ranks. and meanwhile tommy is gawking at all of the fancy set ups

on one hand, as q and wilbur’s arguing intensifies, tommy gawking at a swimming pool relieves some of the tension from that scene. very clever

on the other... to me it is very very clear that tommy is definitely purposefully acting dense because having these two powerful adults he was once so close to arguing is so fucking stressful and its just easier to pretend its not happening

i already know yall are gonna make a bunch of jokes about how its like “hehe quackity and wilbur arguing over tommy like parents” but. legitimately. as someone who’s been in that situation a TON. it’s really really uncomfortable, and what tommy’s doing is exactly how i’d try to handle it sometimes.

i think some people thought they’d work together but there was no way. there’s too much inbetween them. 

on a lighter note, while the bit of “are you two kissing” / “do you have a crush on quackity” is one of those tension breakers, its also REALLY FUCKING FUNNY LMAO. you cannot convince me cc!wilbur and tommy havent seen the “they fucked” post BAHAHA

anyway. this is fucking painful to watch have i mentioned that. they really do not let tommy get a word in. wilbur speaks for him CONSTANTLY

i think on some level, tommy knows that about wilbur, too. the end of the stream struck me. “there’s something strange going on here. with both of them.” tommy isnt stupid. but its so much harder to break trust in someone you once looked up to so wholly. and wilbur is so good at twisting him around his finger.

“we’re family tommy. we’re blood.” tommy’s loyalty and sense of family is fierce, and wilbur knows it.

but no matter what those two men may say to tommy, when they lose their silky acts, when they scream and let out harsh words, they reveal their hands.
