👀 - what was the first dan and/or phil video you ever saw?the first dan video i ever watched was ‘i will go down with this ship’ and it was sent to me by my friend who said that it ‘was me in a nutshell’. i loved it and watched some more dan vids, before eventually discovering phil, my favourite person to ever exist (behind madi of course!). i liked phil’s quirky sense of humour and enjoyed the dnp dynamic. i kept watching and now look,,,,,i’m still here!

❤️- do you ship phan?i mean it’s less of a ship to me. i see it as something canon,,,, i know that sounds highly presumptuous but it’s fairly safe to say that they are together. they’re more married than my dad and step mum and while they may not be married (both are atheists and hate the idea of marriage), they might as well be. i see dnp in the small gestures and jokes they share, the loving smiles and constant need to be touching.

it’s totally okay to like one more than the other! it’s your personal preference, and i know it’s this big taboo thing in the phandom but i really think you shouldn’t feel bad for it or anything:)

i honestly relate to phil so much. i started watching dnp from his videos and having this big crush on him (basically i was like dan lol)

and there are a lot of aspects in dan’s personality i relate to as well (the existentialism, the way he struggled with choosing a path in life, trying to understand what his importance to the world is and a lot more)

but i think my problem with dan’s humor at first was that i don’t really like too much death jokes… i get it’s like a coping mechanism or maybe even a branding at this point but it made me uncomfortable. now i kind of stopped thinking about it and enjoy the other aspects of his humor, but that kind of made me take a step back at first.

i sometimes feel that maybe phil has a similar mindset to mine on that topic because we both had to deal with death and it’s hard for us to hear those jokes, and we sometimes try to avoide the topic with inecent, lighthearted humor because thinking about it makes us scared but maybe i’m just projecting my own issues on him lol 

and thank you so much lovely<3! i’m going to have the best time i’m sure of it :))
