"take the bed." his voice was gravel under velvet. something scraped from the bottom of a glass you weren’t supposed to drink from. "i'll do it."

your fingers began to fly across the keyboard in professional earnest, but you were simply typing gibberish. anything to keep from facing the slight downturn of his lips, the languid, sleep-mused drop of his eyes. "don't even think about it."

soft footsteps (one, two, three, four). then the slow press of his chest against your back, the tingling heat of his frame against yours. he didn’t really touch you. not yet. but his arms bracketed yours, palms flat on either side of the laptop, caging you into the desk without force. your eyes dropped to the ink on his fingers.

"tell me to stop," lewis murmured, his words ghosting over the back of your neck. (oh. oh. oh, god.)

your voice didn't seem to be yours. "we have an early call time."

"tell me. to stop."

"i can't."

"you never can," he said, breath ghosting over your jaw, your temple, the shell of your ear. The blue strings ruined doodle worlds narrative- kinda… (SPOILER WARNING AND RANT WARNING)

Ok I’m just gonna clear up that when I reference the blue strings I DONT MEAN PLAYER. Im not hating on player I think they’re pretty cool I just don’t like the blue strings aspect. You’re also allowed to have your own opinion this is just my opinion and why I just absolutely dislike the blue strings and some solutions I have for the problem because since I don’t want to just complain. Also I kinda wanted to say that I’ve been a story fan for a really long time now and I love the story it’s just this part that makes me kinda mad cuz I really liked the story 😭.

(1) its addition is kinda pointless

This is kinda the least of my problems with the blue string but I’m adding it here anyways. The blue strings point is to basically explain why we as the player win every battle (aka why we are able to reset over and over again). But a mechanic like this does not need any explanation at all, it’s just a mechanic to help you progress the story. Things like LL, TOT, and even Pokémon all have the ability to let you reset and redo battles and they don’t give you an explanation why because it’s just a game mechanic. Things like these don’t need narrative explanation what’s so ever because they want you to progress the story. Doodle world would’ve been fine without this and people would know why we are able to reset because it’s just a game mechanic.

(2) it creates some plot holes in the story it already created

Also not my biggest problem with the blue strings but it needed to be addressed, basically we already took control of someone way before the icyridge incident even occurred, Aka Portia. No one really said anything when we took control of Portia nor anything happened (like no one pointed out how we were staring in the distance like we were in icyridge). Not much to say here but it could easily be fixed with adding a few lines of dialogue to Portia so I’m not gonna continue.

(3) it ruins the future narrative and creates future plot holes

THIS is my biggest problem. Since by narrative we are technically unbeatable why don’t we just go beat the shit out of Jospeh and win, like we know he’s evil and we are technically controlling the player so let’s just go beat him up. Like we know what he’s going to do, so why are we lolly gagging in Ambasa city when we could easily just stop all of this cuz we are just “so powerful that we win no matter what”. Like you could say “oh players holding back their true potential” like some mysterious figure but WHY WOULD WE DO THAT THE WORLD IS LITERALLY ABOUT TO END. This just makes no sense to me and why we aren’t doing something if we are technically a god. Even if Jospeh and his cultists are powerful according to the dumbass blue strings we CANT LOSE basically meaning the rest of the story has no point because no matter what we’re going to the win anyways and get what we want. Also it ruins ALL OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS TOO, like for example, Teneson and his Reragon. People have been hyping up for a battle between us and him but now I kinda feel bitter about it because narratively I know we are just going to automatically win. Like the battling itself would be fun but the story itself is just boring. Like what’s the point in making these strong characters if we are just going to win no matter what narratively. Basically the blue strings killed all of the suspense in the story and that’s what pissed me off because doodle world actually made pretty could stakes but ruined it all by adding the “auto win” mechanic to the blue strings. After this it’s going to be REALLY difficult to build stakes and tension.

(4) kinda something I thought up the last second but it just turns player into the OP MAIN CHARACTER FOR NO LOGICAL REASON troupe.

Now if it was player working hard, training well, and putting a lot of effort and determination into doodle battling, I would’ve accepted that player won every battle. And it also reflects the work of the actual player who’s grinding out really hard to get better doodles. But now its just “oh your kinda op now and can’t loose”. I’m kinda bias here because I HATE the op main character troupe, like that is my least favorite troupe of ALL TIME and for a good reason. Most of the time it’s not done well at all (list every isekai anime here) and the only time it is done decently is in comedy (one punch man, saiki k, etc) and ngl doodle world isn’t known for having golden writing and I have little to no faith that it’s going to be done well here. I’m just a hater of the Mary sue/ Gary Stu trope so if you enjoy that kudos to you because it makes me want to pull my hair out.

(5) lastly, I just don’t want to play out someone’s power fantasy

Kinda a short one but I want to play a game with a decent story, and if it continues to go down this route I feel like it is just gonna become a power fantasy. Like someone pointed out like in the icyridge battle scene “everyone has complete trust in you to do it” like no bro, I want to battle along side them and stuff like that, not show off how powerful I am and shit and compete and have a fun and engaging narrative. I want to work together as a team not just solo everybody. I’m just most interested in flawed, less powerful mcs that actually have to work their way up and collaborate with others and not just a oh your a god now teehee. It’s really difficult to explain this last bullet since it’s more of just my feelings so I apologize if it doesn’t make sense.

“What are you doing?” You spoke up suddenly as he made his way towards you, he couldn’t help but notice the crack in your voice. You struggled against the rope but to no avail, he just laughed at your stupid attempt. “Don’t worry about getting out of thoes, you won’t need to, not for what i have planned.” He whispered into your ear, causing you to jump at the sensation of his breath against your face. You could see his smile from the corner of your eye, the light bouncing off his glasses obscured his from your view.

It didn’t take long for you to end up on your face, cheek smashed against the cold concrete before your hands were restrained once again. You made a noise of disagreement as you felt his cold hands on the exposed part of your hips, your shirt having slid up from the movement in position. “Hey don’t worry, im gonna take really good care of you.” He reassured leaning over your form from behind,his hips pressing against you. You couldn’t even deny how turned on you were, having to stop yourself from whining from the lack of touch as he moved back and took his hands away.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” You whimpered from your place on the ground, you could feel him remove your restraints from the bottom of the chair just to redo them. “Don’t fucking touch me!” You yelled, scooting back only for Gideon to pull you back by your ankles. “Well, you can’t exactly do it yourself now can you?” He laughed at you as if you were the stupidest person alive. It didnt take him long to get rid of your shirt, your back now exposed against the cold concrete causing you to whimper at the feeling. You could tell Gideon wanted to say something. “If you have something to say spit it out.” You mumbled. Gideon laughed “i was gonna make fun of you for whimpering and i havent even touched you yet.” He said while making quick work of your pants, deciding to leave your underwear on for now.

“You’re such an asshole.” You complained, glaring at him from your spot on the ground. He grabbed your face pulling you up once again, squishing your cheeks together. “and you’re such a slut, arent you?” He growled pushing your head back. so the way endings in awakening work is a bit off if you have the gay mod because it reads single people normally, but married people have the man’s ending read, and then his wife just. attached. and so that alters which ending you see for both of them. unfortunately, that means if i have f/f pairs, which most of them were, i dont get to see any because none of them were read. and at least with the second gen, i did almost entirely f/f pairs, which dont show up, or m/m pairs, which had nothing written, so. everyone please give it up for gerome and cynthia, the only second gen ending i got to see!

awakening lunatic sucks! but project thabes makes it suck a little less. in all honesty i had a lot of fun, awakenings a good game to revisit, and finding a way to make it challenging while being able to use my favorite units (awakening second gen) ever was awesome. normally having all 13 (or 14 in this case, with both morgans) would break the game, but lunatic kept the enemies strong, so it didnt matter what my units had. i actually got overwhelmed a lot 😭 HUGE difficulty jump between hard and lunatic all i’m saying. and then the games like “hey now u have lunatic+ if that interests you” NOOOOO THANKS.

anyways. here are my top three guys according to the medal thingies at the end

im so proud of them :3 of all the kids really but yeah these three were huge standouts. virion actually got a change in the mod where one of his subclasses was swapped for myrmidon, so yarne got to inherit astra which was actually insane? it procced ALL THE TIME so. that was crazy. chrom!inigo and fred!cynthia are always good thats not new but they were really clutch in the last few chapters. i had them both hopping around classes for most of the game bc thabes redoes skill progression so. IT TOOK CYNTHIA SO LONG TO LEARN LUNA. ITS FROM WYVERN LORD. GOD. she went through a LOT of classes yall dont even know. also honorable mention to marc and morgan, the best rallybots ever, and dancer lucina, who was outserving everyone she was in a scene with. my girl.

anyways so for second gen pairs i did: lucina/f!morgan, owain/m!morgan, inigo/laurent, yarne/brady, severa/kjelle, nah/noire, and cynthia/gerome and you know what. i think i have a great taste. a lot of these were born from being unable to do other pairings but thats ok. i liked how it turned out. though i was gonna do nah/noire anyways because they were actually like. an insane duo. honestly im surprised noire didnt get a medal thing bc i feel like her nostanking with nah backing her up got me out of so much shit. maybe its because i didnt see her ending… oh. oh wait thats probably it. well. anyways.

i think awakening is not a properly balanced game, nor are the maps made for a difficulty like this. towards the end game especially, the maps are just. flat. most of them anyways, and they just become really repetitive and bland and boring. and despite this being the game with the tactician character of all the time, they dont really allow you flexible strategies, because if youre not pair up stat stacking, you will die! and that sucks. mid game is alright, but the last arc is really weak and kinda dampered my whole experience. im glad i did it, but i wouldnt actually reccomend it to anyone unless you like to play like that (which is totally fine! its just not my thing). definitely requires some solid planning as well. all in all, not the worst fire emblem ive played but… well. im not doing it again. ok anyways heres inigo mouthing off at grima

something i feel is unfortunate in abuse in media is how little diversity we often get. like we get a lot in bg3, which makes me appreciate it more.

but a lot of times when you're in an abusive situation, even if you have the forethought to constantly go "this isn't normal", your body adjusts. you get tired of fighting the current and go along with it just to conserve the energy you need to stay alive. for a lot of people they don't even fully realize how abusive a situation is until long after they get out

in a lot of media ive consumed when a character goes through abuse trauma like, the second they get out of it they break down crying and have catharsis and act like a frightened little animal. this isn't to say no one has ever done this, im sure a lot of people have had those moments where they finally escape and act just like that the days following.

but in my experience it just kinda. goes on? at least for a while. the abuse missing leaves a weird gap in your life you are kind of desperate to fill. or you try to jump back into how your life was 'before'. you compartmentalize it. wonder if you're handling it 'correctly'. you wake up weeks or months or years after the abuse and realize "oh. that was fucked up" and break down crying. sometimes you appear completely normal but you just cant eat or sleep right and youre cranky for no reason and everyone thinks you're a massive asshole to them for no reason. sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night feeling unsafe and sleep on the bathroom floor with the doors locked a weapon in hand and the next day feel stupid for it. sometimes you live your life like nothing is wrong for years until one day something triggers the trauma and you are sent spiraling down further and further to new lows you never thought possible and never even comprehended during the active abuse.

healing doesn't happen linearly where you get rescued, act vulnerable and innocent, recover, and then you're fine. most of the time it's just a mess all over the place. most of the time you never really just 'get over it', you just learn to cope with it better and seem more put together. it took me like, a year or two to even figure out i was abused pretty badly. i sure as shit hadn't been processing any of it in that time. was i just languishing in bed? no, i was, as far as i knew, going about my day to day life as normal.

it was like noticing a major structural problem in a house and being like "aw fuck. i have to tear all this down and start over before it collapses in on me" after trying to brush it aside and ignore it. and of course most people cant just move all of their shit out that day. i waited, trying to figure out how i was gonna do it. all the little problems in the house you can normally ignore just seemed to get worse by the day. but eventually i moved my shit out and tore it all down, ripped up the foundation, and started anew. and nothing about it was easy, because like. the house was my life and how i interacted with people around me? so for a while i just felt like i had nothing, until i got the foundation squared away. then i had some walls and a roof while proverbially living in a tent out back. then i had proper insulation and walls and plumbing and i could kinda move back in. the house still isnt done. sometimes something happens and it all seems to go to shit and i have to redo a bunch of stuff. but its getting better. the new house is a lot safer. many people will wonder how i didnt notice sooner or why the new house wasnt built faster but they can shove it.

i’m irritable today :( i noticed at work (15 minutes before the end of my shift) when making a chococat for a group of friends who decided to take turns stepping on the pedal and felt very like. 😤🙄 bc they each stepped on it like just a tiny bit until the last guy who just held it until it was done (thank fucking god i was getting annoyed bc each of them only held it for like 2 seconds and took like twice as long to switch off) i managed to be normal about it but god there was a small child waiting in line and like crying off and on, the family was like crowding the stuffer too like i thought they were trying to cut in line but they didn’t it was just really stressful for some reason.

i keep saying edibles literally don’t do anything for me but i think they give me a veeeeery slight buffer between me and being irritable asf. so that’s not nothing ig. my therapist suggested a tincture might work differently, since sublingual ingestion is like a slightly different thing from going thru the digestive tract, so i’m gonna try that.

thanks!! and honestly, researching how curly hair sits on the hair + how curly hair generally works helps out a lot lool. i think it's pretty useful if you keep like a reference board with a bunch of examples of the kind of hair that you want to draw, and just refer to that when you're stuck on something. anyway, how i approach curly is typically like this:

here is the kind of research i would've done beforehand. i took examples from people who i think will have the same hair texture as jaime, but obvs ur references depend on who or what your drawing. what you're want to look out for is to know where the scalp is, the silhouette of the hair (or the general shape of it), and how the hair is sitting on the scalp.

here we can see that the hair poofs out a bit from the scalp but the style gradiates downwards by the end. it's at its tallest at the crown of the head, and there's a space on the side where the hair ascends before curving.

and if you take a look closer to the references, you can see how the hair strands are shaped. i tend to draw hair in clumps so i observe them that way. this depends on how you like to draw obviously, but for me, it usually goes something like this:

so combining what i researched before above and that, my idea of how ill draw curly hair would be like

and bc of it's curved shape, the hair strands--since they are not curling in the same direction after all-- are pushing away from each other which gives it a lift and it gives that kind of poofy look-- as opposed to straight hair which just falls downwards

i think the key thing to keep in mind is that you're not drawing a hat or a wig. if you want to keep it organic, you have to show how the hair is growing from the scalp. there are other factors to take into consideration too since hair differs from person to person so stuff like length, hair texture, the hair quality etc. they all differ depending on the character that you're drawing but they're all really helpful things to keep in mind!

anyway, how i draw jaime's hair is usually like this:

i like making a rough draft beforehand because i don't want to redo anything when im drawing the lineart lool. anyway, in that draft you can see how i want the hair to be shaped plus where the hair parting is, the sideburns, etc. i also like styling jaime's hair a bit as in it gets shorter in the nape of the neck--which i think would be inaccurate for his setting--but i dont care it looks good lmao. you can also see how im gonna draw the hair strands + i tried to make the direction of the curls go differently from each other since it looks organic that way imo.

and this is the final product!! you can see that i kept the general curved shape for the curls but i also added extra tails to show that his hair growing a bit. i also added extra singular strands so his hair looks more unkempt. i differed from the draft though and made the back of jaime's hair a bit more shaggier than planned, but other than this is what i wanted to go for in the draft so im pretty pleased with it.

another tip i have though is to make sure to turn off the sketching layers from time to time and see how the end product is looking like. sometimes the shape might end up looking a bit goofier than how you wanted it (speaking from personal experience) so don't be afraid to erase and add on parts!!

but i hope this helps!! really, my biggest suggestion is to just do a bit of research first to get a general gist of how it works before drawing it. sometimes, tutorials show you how to draw it but not exactly why you should draw it that way and for me personally, knowing why it works like that gives me a clearer understanding of how to approach the subject.

HI oh my gosh thank u so much ??!!! ur literally the sweetest please :,) i’ve been meaning to do an updated editing tut thing and i have some time tonight so here u go !

the main things i do are; repainting/fixing clipping, shading, highlights, extra highlights + touch ups, and hair usually in that order. it takes me between 1-3 hours for each one, depends on the complexity and what i have to fix. for the guild posts i took them in cas but either way i use srwe to get a cleaner image in game.

also i’ll link the brushes i use throughout the tut,  i use procreate but im p sure u can use the brushes in photoshop too if im not mistaken.

okay tut below the cut cause this got longer than i thought lmao

repainting/fixing clipping: so for this i usually go in w a hard airbrush (linked at bottom) and well.. repaint or i’ll cover up any clipping with hair or accessories. i also usually do this when the clothes look really pixelated, i like using the smudge tool as well. here’s some examples. i just follow what shadows n highlights are already on the sim for this and color pick from the selected area

2. shading: my general shading process is the same as this post here, especially w the areas. like i said above i usually follow what shadows reshade has already laid out for me but also i’ll add my own in where i see fit. 

the only things that have mostly changed from that post are; 1. i use a diff brush which i’ll link at the end, and 2. i use this color (hex code: e88d6f) on a multiply layer, gaussian blur 1-10% and layer opacity between 50-80%. just depends on what looks best to me. (oh also i shade clothes w a color pick on a multiply layer now instead of w black)

3. highlights: also pretty similar as above, i use an overlay layer, this color (hex code: ffded2) gaussian blur it, and set the opacity between 40-80%. again just depends on what looks nice. i also add a lil glow to the eyes on this layer w that color as well, makes them pop a bit.

4. extra highlights: so this one ur gonna want the highlights brush from this brush pack here (hair pack). it’s rlly snazzy, i use it on the nose, jawline, and eyes (examples below) usually using the same color as above for highlights or i’ll color pick from the sim. i set this layer to an add (linear dodge if ur in ps) layer, opacity varies, if it’s too bright i’ll just turn it down until it’s not lmao.

5. hair: oh boy. okay ur gonna want that brush pack from above, this thing actually saved my life w hair. i duplicate my base sim layer and alpha lock it. from there i’ll use the soft hair brush from that pack both as a regular brush and a smudge brush. my best advice here is to color pick when painting and follow the direction the hair goes. i’ll add a time-lapse below because i feel like showing is better than anything. i also use that highlights brush from the hair pack and add some lil stray strands. i can't tell u how many times i redo the hair, it can get annoying sometimes but just take ur time !!

last bonus tip is to have fun with it !! ur making art and it’s the process that makes it exciting, i like to always try something new when making an edit. i see it like painting (which it is actually now that i'm thinking about it lmao) but just go nuts !! i used to super rush my stuff and i never rlly liked it so w these i took it slow and found what worked for me.

Yes, kinda, and I can understand why. He has to compromise with a lot of people in the commentary community, so any wrong move and he would get backlash and possible get into more drama. He has gone through a lot of online theatre over the years, so I can see why he is choosing to be so careful with every fucking thing, like even removing my Mr. Leaps character from his intro we made for him... He doesnt want any more risk as he knows the consequences. When I started out in my drama, I had zero experience of any online battles, I didnt even know how to make a commentary video at the time, as I was only starting out that summer of 2020 with a few shitty history vids with bad editing. I can see how bad of a response I made towards Daft pina at the time now, since I didnt even write it. It was my editor who wrote most of it, and I just gave the general points to talk about (there was also no time to think about it, since I wanted a response to Daft asap), as I didnt know how to put it into proper English commentary when all I did prior was animation for years. Animation/art =/= commentary, you just use completely different parts of the brain I noticed when you do one of those. I made that first QnA video in like 2019, and you dont wanna know how long it took me to record and redo most of it, I hated how I sounded, I hated what words I used, it was all so ugly to me, I juist had no experience of talking to random online people at the time - my brain was developing in other fields (animation, cinema stuff, music/score), so I guess you can say I was a retard when it came to speaking online.

 Over the years I followed a few drama stories, like the Onision one, a bit of LEafyis Here, and few Daft pina stuff when he was a :good guy: in the eyes of the public, but you dont really learn about the stakes or the consequences in such situations unless youve been there yourself. Its a completely different understanding when youre just a viewer or a spectator, so you dont see the full picture on whats happening behind the stage. I was very late to realize how much damage online battles can do to someone, both mentally and financially. It can develop into serious trauma if youre relying on online audience to pay the bills. Luckily for me, most of the subs are not interested in any drama stuff, as I mainly lost audience who watched the history vids, while the usual main series I make seem to be doing the same , so deathbed stuff gets the most views, while other parodies can be huge hit or miss, so I dont want to do them anymore, as its huge gamble. For Just a Robot, he has built his online career with commentary, so its obvious he will lose it all in an instant once the community turns on him. I do think he isnt brave to just stick to his own opinion and not care what others will think, but its also not gonna align with his community if he does go out of line. 

Daft Pina is a recent example of what happens when commentary turns on you. He has lost a lot of power over the years, but of course he will never fully vanish like Creepshow art, since he has way too many “friends” in art circles who seem to be his safety net, though you can see his sub count has dropped since last year, and so did his views. SonnyTM has made a great recent video on Daft, to show what I mean, you can watch that vid on his channel.

I heard Bob say,"Well its not my fault, shes just kind and has a great sense of humor and sarcasm" Bosip spat back at Bob suprisingly calmly, and so on the arguing continued until i broke it off with a loud fake cough, "erm, sorry to ruin yall guyses argue, but who is the lucky gal that yall are fighting over" i said with a smirk while slinging my arms around their shoulder, not gonna lie, finding out that they like someone did kinda hurt, its not the fact that they love another, im happy for them for finding someone special! Its the fear of our friendship getting broken. "O..Oh!,,- uhm- well,,-" Bob started, "S..she has H/L H/C hair, beautiful E/C eyes and her name is Y-MgHmN-" Bob then gets cut off by Bosip slapping a hand over his mouth to prevent 'daydreaming Bob' from spilling information that the said gal is you. You just looked at them confused and just shrugged it off, "so her name is F/L/N? Hmm thats a unique name, i like it, might take her for myself" i said (Y/N:" BI PANIC BI PANIC BI PANI-") "W..WELL,,!- you cant technically date her,,-" Bosip said nervously thinking i would stop asking questions about the lucky girl. "Well i have to go now, my cat will be pissed at me for not feeding him in time, or he will just piss on the fucking floor lol, anyways, goodbye!" I waved to the two with a closed-eye smile, leaving them be awe-struck. The two then looked at eachother with a challenging look and then Bosip said "Who ever wins her heart, gets to keep her.", "bring it on piss coloured shark!" they then parted ways.

I was walking to Y/N's house to give her the Kandi i made for her, but soon got stopped at the sight of Bob standing at her porch with Flowers in hand, "didnt see ya there" he said, "maybe you should go back home" he then pushed me into the bush next to the stairs then rang the bell, Y/N came out of the house *cough* looking as beautiful as ever *cough* then stared at the beautiful bouqet in Bobs hands. "Here you go m'lady, a beautiful bouqet for a beautiful girl" he said flirtatiously, i could feel my blood boiling, after i few minutes i heard them send a fareawell to eachother and then the door closing, i slowly rose from the bush,glarring daggers at a smirking Bob, "what the hell are you smirking at" i said calmly, "nothing, im just thinking about how my victory will be played" he said. I just sighed and stomped away from him feeling sorrow.

It was another day, yet another fight between the two fellas who fell inlove with the same person,but this time, the shark has caught its pray in time /j (that joke was important, you can fight me)

Bosip was nervously waiting in a cafe where he asked you if you two could meet up, he then looked up once the bell chimed to see you looking amongst the crowds to find him, when you spotted him you quickly ran to the table and sat down across him, "sorry for being late! My cat was being a bitch cause i didmt give him pets, anyways, wanna order now?" you looked straight into his eyes, that moment he thought he was on cloud 9, he felt his stomach churn and he began to stutter alot "w..well,,- we could g..get F/D if you want t..to!-" he said looking to the side, trying to look anywhere but you, you just smiled at him and replied with "sure!". When you guys ordered you just started a small talk, the bell chimed again implying that someone just came into the cafe, once Bosip looked at the said person the smile he had dropped a little, "is everything okay?" You asked him concerned, "yeah! everything is just fine,, heh,,-" he replied, Bob was standing at the door seemingly to look for someone, Bosip then had an idea and took your hand and started softly going over the lines on your hand, you jst stared at him cause you didnt know he had a soft side, hes usually always calm and monotone, seeing him like this made your heart melt. Bob then spotted you two sitting at a table, he felt really jealous that his FRIEND was holding his crushes hand instead of him, he just straight up left the cafe without a word. This went on for weeks and weeks until a whole month passed, you were starting to get suspicious at the two, one day you just desided to eavesdrop on the two who were having a heated argument, "Cant you see!? She clearly likes me more!" Bob yelled, "really!? Cant you just move on and accept that she likes me!? I even held her hand!" Bosip then snapped back.Bob started "Ugh, wait a minute, what if we ask her?", "ask who?" you came out from behind the door, the two then yelped at the sudden appearance of you, "N..Nobody!-" they both yelled in sync, "yeah no, im not buying it" they then both sighed, "well,Y/N, Bosip and i, from the very start we met you, we thought you were the most beautiful girl we ever saw, and well, we saw you as special, so what im trying to say is, Y/N, we like you, like like you, like a lot" Bob confessed, you then snickered at the two now confused boys, "is that what this was all about? You two trying to make each otger jealous and win my heart? Oh boys, you couldve just said that before! I also took a quite liking to you two too" you dmiled at them, they just stared wide-eyed at your confession, did you really mean what you said? "but, how are you going to choose who to date?" Bosip questioned, "dont need to, we can just be a poly realationship" you kissed their cheeks while putting your arms around their shoulders, "now this is why were called the pussy slayers" Bob joked, "BOB, YOU MOTHERFU-"

Veylin's bust painting is my fav ive done of any of those, i'm still rlly proud of nohope and planhz's sprites, i reaaaaaally love how i did the color and overlays on that abby headshot, and the dogy is an artfight attack from last year that is everything i love about my older lineless art style!!!

6. Which artists inspire you right now?

Alright buckle up folks this is a longer one

So I'm gonna answer this in two parts basically. The first part is artists that inspired me to start drawing what I like, especially fantrolls-- so a lot of my friends really!! Wanting to be in this community is what made me start actually doing art as something I was passionate about!!!!! The second part is actually twitter artists that inspired me to actually renovate my art style, try new things, and actually grow as an artist in ways that I really just never did here before.

I know I'm gonna forget a lot of people but the ones that come to mind right away for people who had an Impact on me back in the day are !!U!! gabriel 8bit-mau5, newt indig0trolls, my friend max who's no longer in the community, my friend lumiet who doesn't even do fantrolls but is really cool, and god a lot of old blogs whos muns are just gone now..................... wistful sigh :(

Hella cool to see someone be like, never satisfied in a "i love art and drawing so i want to grow and do it as well as i can as a respect for the craft" type of way. I don't think any of these guys except for Wolfy are actually into dsmp anymore but when I got into their content they were all dsmp fanartists so.

Okay this is really long actually so I'll quit there. Oh wait easy simple. The whole fuckin aliquid ex nihilo comic. That took me so goddamn long but it was a labor of love and I desperately want to do more 1-page song comics like that but unfortunately they take me like 2 weeks if I do full lineart and that shit sucks

There are a lot of things I want to redo on it that are also things I redid in the process of making this comic but as is the nature of being so used to drawing sprites I forget how to draw people in actual poses and also interacting with things. I still think overall just because also of how funky I got with the coloring, framing, the fact that this is the first comic ive ever planned and fully completed ever, etc. that this one's my fav thing I've drawn in 2022 thus far

HEY GUYS GUESS WHAT I FINISHED

well mostly

that’s a temp crown and I have a single seam left BUT IT’S DONE REALLY OTHER THAN THAT

So now I’m prince ;3c (i also realized i could have grabbed my fake bouquet from my room for more fun---) also I’m wearing a face mask cuz I really didn’t want to put makeup on to fuck around in my basement when I do a proper photo shoot with Snuppet or something I will but deal with the mask (which btw is from @/timetravelinghk !!! It’s one of my favs to wear besides my levisnatch i wear at work)

I’m like super pleased with how this came out; It’s like patterned fully from scratch *stares at the failed attempts* yeah. it’s been a journey.

I’m gonna ramble a bit about the things I dealt with with this costume so read more I’m long winded

For context I started drafting patterns and such for Prince back when I made Snuppet. The idea has always been to cosplay as Prince and HK when I puppet him. However I wound up getting called back to my day job like right after I finished Snups so I never had a chance to continue because hooooo boi this summer was nuts. People wtf we broke records in sales for my work despite pandemic but i’ve ranted before--

There was also the matter of my boots and my wig. See the wig I’m wearing is the SECOND wig i bought for prince. the first one arrived all like... weird. i can’t get it to be fixed so I’ll use it for a monster costume and cover it with blood (its got like weird glue residue. like how some monster high dolls’ hair gets?)

This one is really nice uvu it’s my first arda wig i ordered; I do have the same in a dark purple because I will be making a ‘shadow prince’ version of this outfit in black and purple

So let me say, I have decent sized feet. I wear between a womens 10 and 11 and that makes finding shoes a lil hard.

More so when I need very fucking specific shoes.

Yes i could do boot covers but it wasn’t going to be the same.

so I spent over a month looking and finally found those ones. they cost me a little bit (like they by far are the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought. I hate spending money on shoes even for cosplay)

So they said they’d arrive soonish. I even paid express shipping.

Guys i ordered them in April. I got them late AUGUST. the site was a nightmare i could never get info it was permanently stuck in ‘packaging order for shipment’ and the help desk sucked and I was so busy with work I couldn’t call my bank and then just one day

they were just in a bag shoved in my mail box. i opened them right before a shift so they sat in my car all day

then i ordered gold cord on amazon

LACING THESE THINGS IS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE

the first time I wore them took me no lie about half hour to get them laced proper and on. My sister was waiting and had to come up like “...you okay?”

once laced tho i can easily put them on and off in like 5 minutes

now the costume itself has been. interesting. so you can’t see but the actual way i put this on is there’s a zipper and velcro! I’ve mentioned before I have CFS and chronic pain issues so I try to make my cosplays easy in easy out if i can. so this actually just. zips up and then the flap with buttons velcros down. it keeps the whole thing a lot smoother across my chest. (also i wear a binder for this cosplay. I bought my first one for this. if you cant tell i kinda went all out for this cosplay because I resonate with this fucker on a personal level and he’s brought me peace of mind this last year. I haven’t done a male cosplay in years and it’s kinda nice to do it again.)

trying to figure out the proper way to make those puff sleeves was. yeah. and even then they aren’t perfect but they work for me. When I redo this for shadow prince I may make them a little.. poofier? i have the idea how to do it now.

I also like had to alter my pattern after i made it to fit better. I have narrow sloping shoulders so things slip off them easily, my original pattern had very BROAD shoulders whoops.

the collar was also fun. i have to keep like stabbing myself with pins to get it to stand right.

I think the cravat was the easiest thing. it’s actually not tied or anything. its sewn together and then there’s velcro so i just wrap it around my neck and secure. As i said. i prefer easy on easy off.

the pants were. fun. I’ve always had issues making pants. the first set well... I made farrrr too thin. the legs were fine but i couldn't get the waist bit over my thighs or rear TTvTT

I’ve been playing with that pattern for the past week. I actually made them too WIDE today which is a much easier fix. tbh could take them in more but I do want the poof a bit. I do need to not wear LEGGINGS under them next time. like.

this costume is warm. I’m going to be a roast prince when con’s are a thing again. between how warm the tunic and binder are, and carrying/puppeting snuppet if you see me please know if I glare it’s most likely I’m dying. Gods it’s warm. I overheat so easily. (another reason I make it easy on and off)

So yeah! that’s my tirade on my prince cosplay! if you actual read down to this point mwah!

get a laugh out of the fact as I was coming back up stairs i scared my cat. he always freaks out when I’m in cosplay.

Also admire i took these photos blind. I didn’t want to put contacts in so i was playing with my new remote (i got a phone based tripod and it has a bluetooth remote to take photos it’s fucking great ngl)
