She tried to catch her breath, but there was still a tightening in it that feared the worst. After all, this was a battle, those they were fighting against did not care about killing them, even though they were just Kids.
She nodded at his words and looked at him, then suddenly hugged him. She just needed to have that human contact.
"I don't know what I would do without Padma." She breathed, slowly letting him go and taking his hand when he took hers.
"I'm not sure I can." She admitted. Even though she was a Gryffindor, right now, she felt like she was the furthest thing from being brave herself. But at the same time, she didn't want anyone she cared about getting hurt. "But I will do my best." She continued.
She lift her free hand, wiping the tears from her eyes and taking a slow deep breath, then nodded, as if to let him know that she was ready.
Bastian placed a hand on Parvati's shoulder. "Listen, Parvati, Padma is one of the bravest witches I know and even more skilled. She's been taught by the best witches and wizards, and it helps that you two are members of Dumbledore's Army and were taught by Harry, of all people, how to defend yourselves." Bastian said, trying to calm Parvati down. "If she's with Cameron and Raven then she will be fine, neither of them are new to battles, Raven's father is an Auror and I bet you he thought them stuff that Hogwarts didn't. Let's just find them."
He took her hand in his. "I'll stay with you the entire time, and we'll find your sister, but in the meantime, we have to blast anyone who gets in our way." Bastian said as he smiled.

@redemptivexheroics || Parvati and Bastian

Parvati was excited about her date. Sure, the surprise set up had gone well, but this was their first official date. She had liked him for a while, but it wasn’t till the set up that she really let him know it.
And because of the success of the set up, they decided to give a proper date a go.
So here she was, waiting at restaurant, having shown up a little early, waiting for him to arrive.
Nerves started to take over as she looked up at the clock, seeing the time getting closer and closer to when they were meant to meet.

"Well they did think that the first time." She pointed out. Hopefully this time he actually was. "But its understandable, there is a lot of work to be done to return things to normal, and restore what was corrupted, like the ministry, and Azkaban, and Hogwarts." She breathed.
Many thought her the dumb twin, her sister Padma was very smart, and she let everyone see that, but Parvati wasn't stupid, she just liked material things too.
She looked at the flowers again. "Well, just a heads up, we like chocolates too." She chuckled a little. She placed the flowers to one side and smiled at him. "He and my sister seem to be quite serious." She breathed. "I'm happy they have each other." She added.
Parvati then nodded "I will do." She replied. "But lets not talk battles and work for now" She said, reaching across the table and taking his hand.

A Date [Bastian/Parvati] Continued...
@entangledmuses Continued From Here
"Well, I always like to be on time, no matter what it is, but you know the Ministry has its hands full now that Voldemort is gone, for good this time. We're trying our best to return the wizarding world back to normal now that everyone is not looking over their shoulders anymore," Bastian responded. he knew there would be lots of work to do to undo all the things Voldemort had done since his return, Hogwarts was just getting back to normal, even with magic it took a while longer to restore the school than everyone had anticipated and it would be welcoming back it's students come September.
"You're welcome; as Cameron has put in my head numerous times, a beautiful girl deserves beautiful flowers. I hear he's always sending some your sister's way."
That sounded like Padma; even at Hogwarts, the two were always in the know and had a knack for gossip, whether true or not. "Tell her I said hi when you see her. I haven't seen her since the battle at Hogwarts."

Parvati felt a tightening in her chest. She needed to know where her sister was. She couldn't cope if she had lost her. "I saw her after that, we were together, but then got separated, and I just I'm so scared that something has happened to her." She said, the tears freely rolling down her cheeks.
Normally she would be all in about gossip, especially about her Sister and her Crush. She knew Padma liked Cameron. Knew her sister was actually madly head over heels for Cameron.
But right now, she was so scared. Not just about her sister, but what was happening.
She just nodded in response.
"Will... will you stay with me?" She asked him. "I know I'm meant to be brave, but all I want to do is run into a closet and hide, but I have to find Padma, I have to make sure my sister is still a....." She cut herself off with a sob, her hand lifting to wipe the tears from her eyes.
"Please Bastian?"
When Parvati hugged him, Bastian had to adjust himself so that neither of them fell to the ground. "I won't let that happen; you're good as long as I'm around. I'm not an amateur when it comes to dueling; I didn't need Dumbledore's Army for that," he said gently.
He thought about it: When was the last time he saw Padma or Raven and Cameron, for that matter? "The last time I saw Padma, she was leaving the Great Hall with you. After that, I haven't seen her, and now I'm worried," he said.
Looking back at Parvati. "Let's go find them; I wager Cameron is probably with her; he does have a thing for your sister, so I'm sure he'd want to make sure she lives through this; they are kind of close, after all."
