Yes, to answer both of your questions; here are the Pteranodon Quadruplets, plus a bonus Gilbert; all of them as humans.

As for Tiny committing warcrimes, no better person to ask such a question, than a Canadian am I right? lol! Jk! Jk! That is not a can of soup…

As for my drawing not being the best quality I would like it to have, I just got an ultrasound on my left wrist to see if it’s possibly broken, or partially dislocated yesterday, and my wrist still hurts from that.

Surprise! Quick new fanart of Dinosaur Train cuz like the Chuggington trainees, Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, and Don are precious, underrated smol beans. Here's Tiny and Shiny in a scenario I couldn't resist.

Buddy is in Troodon Town helping Gilbert with a project while the pteranodons are doing their own things at home. Tiny, in a partictularly adventurous mode, went off to practice skydiving, but flunked her trick and landed in mud as a result. She wasn't planning on cleaning herself up properly until after she was done practicing - but failed to account for Shiny being nearby...

LAST TEASER OF "THREADED IN FIRE"

SWEETHEARTS, IT'S ALMOST TIME! This is the final teaser. I'm currently at 31K words. There's only one last little part and the epilogue left, which I’ll try to finish tonight. In the meantime, I’m putting together a taglist for the fic—please comment if you’d like to be tagged!

Then he saw it. 

In the dark sky, the figure turned just enough for the moonlight to catch them.

Feathered wings. Not leathery like his pteranodon form. But vast—long, black, glossy feathers catching the wind. And then the unmistakable flare of a flame between their shoulder blades.

He halted mid-flight, wings beating once to steady himself as shock struck him like a blade to the chest.

No…

It wasn’t possible.

He was the last.

He had to be the last.

Yet before him, midair and burning like a phantom, was someone else. Someone with wings, with flame, with the ancient markers of the gods they used to be. Her body was massive—nearly his own height, easily towering over any ordinary human. A brief flash of white hair escaped her scarf, and brown skin caught the glint of firelight.

A woman.

He could tell from the form, from the frame. Powerful, but not like his own. Different.

His instincts screamed—questions burned through his skull—but his body refused to move. For the first time in decades, he faltered in the sky. Was this an illusion? A trap? A trick of his memory? But no hallucination would burn with that kind of flame.

His mouth went dry beneath the leather mask.

She’s Lunarian.

And that changed everything.

Not sure about that. Out of the quadruplets, the one who strikes me as being neurodivergent at all is Don, and it's not autism but ADHD.

But there are some other diagnoses each kid shows signs of:

Buddy Tyrannosaurus: Anxiety - Buddy is a very timid soul, especially at the start of the series. Unlike Tiny, who dives head first into everything, Buddy frequently shows fear when seeing the more dangerous features on creatures and trying new things. His anxiety is social as well. He admitted in one episode that he gets scared of meeting new people because he's scared they won't like him. And in an early episode, he's extremely self cautious about singing and dancing with Tiny and Don in public. As the series progresses, Buddy gets braver and braver. His confidence grows massively, and he is even willing to take risks, as seen in Adventure Island. But he still has anxiety even then, sometimes struggling with coordination as he tries to control the adventure island robots. He also frequently falls into bouts of withdrawal and deep thinking in the series related to his own inner insecurities, needing his family or a close friend to pull him out of his own head. Also, Buddy suffered from early developmental trauma, all fault of his biological parents leaving him and his adopted family being unable to figure out what species he was initially. All of that is bound to have had a lasting negative impact on him!

Tiny Pteranodon: Depression - We only see it in one episode really, Love Day, but dang that one episode! Tiny shows classic signs of depression. She's sad, she doesn't have the energy to do anything, she has no appetite, and she goes off to be alone to ride out her depressive episode. When her sister Shiny asks if she's okay and asks if anything happened to her, Tiny responds that she just feels sad for no reason sometimes, confirming that her depression may have chemical causes and that this isn't a one time thing. Curse season 5 being the last season!

Don Pteranodon: ADHD - My silly boi! Don just has neurodivergent vibes. Don has a processing speed that's a bit different than the other kids, is easily distracted and struggles to focus, and is shown to be clumsy. "Clumsiness" can often be a sign of neurodivergence via sensory processing disorder. Cough cough. I got that. The double sided coin of the spotty attention span, Don tends to hyperfixate as well on digging holes or expanding his collection.

Shiny Pteranodon: Anxiety - Like Buddy, Shiny gets scared of new experiences and people frequently - though even more than Buddy at times. She is unable to sleep well in unfamiliar environments, on multiple occasions, and struggles to muster the courage to face her fears - unless, of course, her siblings' well beings are involved, as seen in instances like her standing up to Keenan and being confrontational with a snake for stealing her siblings' toys. Shiny also feels the need to plan excessively and control the situation to keep things under wraps, which frequently comes out through her bossiness.

I really wish the series showed us more of Tiny's depression, and acknowledged Buddy's trauma in a more clandestine way. This poor boy has gone through so much! And the depression has so much potential weaved into Tiny's overconfident and reckless personality. That the show never acknowledges as character flaws.

So the new JW rebirth trailer revealed the new mutant, the mutadons, and I have some thoughts. Mainly, WHY ISNT THIS THING A HYBRID!? It has the body of a raptor, the wings of a pterosaur and a hooked beak, acting as a sort of middle-ground between the long bill of some pterosaurs and a theropod head.

I dont hate the idea of mutants, hell I quite like the D-rex, mainly because it looks like its mutated with its bulbous head, too many arms and fucked up gums, whilst still being able to see the creature it was meant to be in areas of the face and its tiny rex arms. I guess you could argue that it's a similar deal here, only isnt it crazy that a velocirator happened to accidentally develop arms almost exactly like a pterosaur? You even have people in interviews calling it a "cross between a raptor and a pteranodon", at this point just make it a hybrid.

That said, I do like its design. I like the colours, and I like how it isn't just a raptor with wings with its thick neck and top-heavy body. I am a little miffed it doesnt have feathers tho, I could have sworn there was an interview where they were described as being feathered, and I would have loved to have seen basically a giant microraptor.

The Camp Fam as Dinos + Bumpy

Basically, made this for an AU idea, and decided to share.

You know Eddie? The birthday boy scientist who stole the van and got eaten?

Well what if he didn’t know about the van? Was slightly insane, and most importantly, an intern under Lockwood’s daughter. The one who created a shot that literally changed DNA?

Cue experimental chaos that ends with the kids becoming basically Were-Dino, (don’t ask me on the science 😂)

Now the reason I chose what species for what kid-

Brooklynn was originally going to be a lux Parasaurolophus, because of the scene in Chaos Theory (you know what I’m talking about) and Kenji a Brachiosaurus, because of the scene in season 3 where he decides to help the baby find the herd instead of race after Ben and Darius, it’s the first real time we see him choose the path of empathy for the Dinosaurs, and to me it speaks of the trauma of being left behind by his own father.

However, I decided to switch them.

Brooklynn is loud and wants to be heard, she wants the attention and the love of others, and as an adult we see that she wants to do what she thinks is best, and damn the consequences, kind of similar to a huge animal that doesn’t have many natural predators that can take it down without a fight.

Kenji however starts off his life in the spotlight, he has to be perfect and when he’s not he is still a pampered prince, he knows his worth and it’s higher than everybody else. Then he gets a violent and teeth filled reality check, and suddenly his money is useless and he has no practical skills compared to everyone, he realizes that being special doesn’t mean anything when running for your life, and if anything, it makes him an easier meal. He was born with privilege and it means nothing, and as an adult he welcomes it, he doesn’t want to be like his father, like Hammond or Masrani or anyone else, he will survive, he will thrive despite it, not because of it.

Sammy was easy, a triceratops is kind and nurturing to the herd, but fiercely protective and will do what it needs to protect, but she also has a very big and glaring weakness beyond that protection, she has to rely on someone having her back, because she cant do it by herself.

Yaz is was a bit harder, while I thought about a Velociraptor or Gallimimus. Something fast and quick, I realized that the Pteranodon was more for her. As a human she had trained her legs to be her strength, her skill, and now on the Island she has become a liability because of her ankle, she’s slower and weaker and needs breaks more, her ankle has become a glaring weakness in her own self-worth and survival. But give her wings? And suddenly she can fly and still be helpful, she is free, just as free as running for fun used to be, but this time, she is also useful, eyes in the sky to watch out for her friends, and most importantly, for Sammy.

Ben is a compy, not just because he’s small and unassuming, but because everyone has underestimated him, including himself. He’s the weak link in their group, the small and powerless. But that’s the trick to compies isn’t it? They are small and weak, but they have a venomous bite and are deadly in numbers, a pack could even eat an entire T-Rex if they worked hard enough! Then as an adult, Ben becomes more than a tiny scrawny kid, but yet he’s still the same inside, all soft and gushy and fierce beyond any size.

Finally Darius, our adorable and Dino-loving boy. Darius is a T-Rex, but, the startling reality is that a baby t-Rex is still a baby, he can fight sure, but he needs help, he’ll never survive on his own despite anything he tries, he’s still a kid, inexperienced and unprepared. He wants to fight the world to protect the others, has promised to protect them and get them home. Darius has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and he has to learn to accept that the others can still fight. As an adult he goes through a period of isolation and of trying his own way, and it doesn’t work, because he’s still a kid at heart, a kid who wants his family back, and would do anything in the world to protect them.

(Also I know I did the colors a bit weird, but I tried to mix in their young and adult color schemes)
