Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip knows this all too well, focusing solely on bringing the fun factor. It's a love letter to successful mascot platformers of old while offering some much-needed fan service to the kid-friendly GTA-clone sub-genre that gave us The Simpsons Hit and Run and Lego City Undercover.

My current theory for why Terry ran away from home, since we know it wasn't transphobia from his community: He was being trained to be an Archmage of Earth, but couldn't handle it. He's got the makings to be an INCREDIBLE archmage, but he just wasn't ready. And maybe his teachers weren't the best, or prepared for what he needed to learn.
Maybe some of it did need to take him needing to shed his True Heart.
Maybe I just think it makes sense for him to have a Wammawink: Centaurworld flake out when things started getting TOO complicated.

Hulu with a show about treating your family like shit, hating everyone around you, glorifying (I mean at this point it’s scary) incest, and generally being a huge asshole : the people love it ! Let’s keep it going.
Hulu with a show about gay aliens, a family who learns to love and appreciate each other, two more plots filled with intrigue and creativity, and after the recent apparition of a bad guy : the people love it ! Let’s stop it.

So, a fun random scenario me and @theshiftingworkshop have been playing around with for a few days now:
me and her turn into borrowers, and lose our memories
SD is worried sick and has to figure out a way to bring us back, his first order of business is to lure us out of his walls (where we ran off to because he's big and scary)
he lures me out with a ring that I've had my eye on for a while and clearly can't resist having a closer look at
