She is immediately objectified and seen as an animal, like a cat. It’s pretty but useless and you can keep it inside your house(No, it’s not my mindset, but it was the 50s mindset so yeahhhh-)

This drawing also represents the “Civilised” thoughts on her. How society views this foreign young girl as a primitive being, objectifying and even sexualising something as pure as nudity and how quick it was to be judged if you were ever so slightly different. The fact she was so unbothered by her lack of clothing and suddenly society picks on it and twist it until she feels bothered and attempts to cover up to save herself from the harsh norms. Yes, society.

Utilizing YouTube Descriptions

A good description on your video will up your views, watch time, and subscribers. Descriptions give you a great opportunity to connect more with your audience and invite people further into your channel. Many people aren’t descriptive enough with their video descriptions and it is a wasted opportunity.

How can you utilize your video descriptions to attract more and longer views?

The first few sentences of your description are your biggest opportunity. You want to utilize the beginning of your description to place your key words and phrases to attract viewers. A clear, concise description of the video is what you are looking for here. This means putting in a descriptive few sentences on what your video is about, by using key phrases that you are using in tags to rank your video. Lots of YouTubers try to do this and fail, because they do not use natural language to get those keywords into a description box.

For example, if you are creating a build video called Garden Cottage—you’ll want to include key words that people searching for any iteration of ‘garden cottage’ would find.

Bad Example: This is a garden cottage with two bedrooms and one bathroom in Brindleton Bay. Good Example: This video is of a garden cottage nestled away in Brindleton Bay. The cottage itself is surrounded by a field of wildflowers and beautiful landscaping. While the interior features two bedrooms, a master bedroom and a child’s bedroom, along with one bathroom for the sim family to share. Using minimal packs, including Romantic Garden and Perfect Patio Stuff, this cottage is perfect for your green thumb sims who enjoy a bit of gardening, flower arranging, and beekeeping!

In the bad example, we have two major key words- ‘garden cottage’. But in the good example, there are plenty of key words including ‘garden cottage’, ‘landscaping’, ‘two bedrooms’, ‘master bedroom’, ‘child’s bedroom’, ‘romantic garden’, ‘perfect patio, ‘green thumb, ‘gardening’, ‘flower arranging’, and ‘beekeeping’.

Links are also a great addition to your description boxes! You can use links such as a subscribe link, links to related videos of yours, links to playlists that are related to the current video, and your credits. Use links to bring people to other videos that are of similar content to the video that they just watched. You can also utilize end screens at the same time for this purpose. In the garden cottage example- you can link other builds that have a floral landscape, are also cottages, or are in the same color palette. If you don’t have similar builds—linking to other builds would likely attract more viewers than linking CAS or game play videos would be.

The final part of your description should be links to all of your other social medias. Share your twitter, tumblr, facebook page, and Instagram here. Building your community off platform is extremely helpful for maintaining a large network of simmers and creating views and watch time within the community. This will also help people to get in touch with you if they are reaching out to do a collab, get to know you, or learn more about you off channel!

RPG MAKER TRICKS #7 - THE HIDDEN FOLDER TACTIC

Yeah, you expected the Ao Oni chase system, right?

But it is I! The Hidden Folder trick!

And yeah, this is gonna save your butt. A lot.

Anyway, this is gonna be quite short for a trick. And this is more of a general trick (or tip) for anyone else in the game dev sector. Basically, what we’re going to do is to make the files hidden, most expected are the folders that contain the files that you need. (Ehem, ehem, encrypted files ehem, ehem)

This is quite simple. All you have to do is this.

1. Open Command Prompt (You can do so by pressing Windows + R then typing cmd)

2. There, put the following code.

attrib +s +h “<File or Folder Directory>”

3. And there, done!

If you think that making it invisible renders it unable to be used. Think again. Seriously. We only made it invisible to the eye, not to the system. Also, this is not similar to the ‘hidden’ option that you see in the properties. Legit, try finding it. Though there are several explorers (namely WinRAR) that can find said folders.

So congrats! Not only did you know something about computers, but also a way to hide you files. Remember, they can’t hack it if they can’t find it. Good day.
