After reading the newest story in limbus company and re reading your fanfic and with this X is a colour fixer au i have created an au of my self useing other theory for dante, specificly the dante = ayin theory but instead its

Manager Dante is Manager X AU(an AU of an AU of an AU)

Damn long post time, did i make this tumblr account to post this? Yup

The AU goes like this when X awoken at the ruind Lcorp manager office he was confused and afraid, days pass with him pondering about his existance, angered by angelas betrayal, and trying to find a way out useing ayins memories, days pass and somehow he is able to regain contact with ayin in the light, with ayin help X was able to see what the angela and the rest of sephirah (now Patron Librarians), like your story in TMFA useing the mostly broken but somewhat useable computer screen we see in LC that X use to manage the Facility, later on he found out he can manipulate and whispers to roland and the others what to do, and he use it as a way to help the strategise and fight againts the guest that come to the library(estensialy im saying that in LOR we have X POV) ubtil the end game of LOR before the conection is severd because if how far the library is now.

But now, inspired by angela new revelation to break the city cycle once and for all, X begins his escape from the ruins facility, haveing ayin awakend his incomplete EGO aka like in this AU Regenration is one of them

After seeing the city state of the city and knowing how the SoL project is now creating mostly distortion then EGO, X establish a Lab near the ruins Of main Lcorp to run research on The seed of light distortion problem, and doing bounty work to earn money

Over time while trying to get scrap material to use for his work from the ruin facility and fixer jobs X found out other abilities his ego can do

These are -him unable to get crazy or effected by abnormalitis despite how horrendous they look -haveing photographic memories -not really needing to eat or drink to survive(tho he can still do them if he wish too) -And one he discoverd in the worse way possible, an ability to "retry the day" after being killed

He come to a realization on what his EGO truely is, a representation of the Corporation and the cycle, or more percise the the "Face The Fear" part of lcorp, because one of my theory for mephistopheles is that is ayins/X ver of the library, but for poor X its a train, and you wrote it yourself, the poor guy is scared as hell againts trains, but fits the "Face The Fear" Part(he found out he could summon mephi on his trip to the ruind lcorp where he accidently summon the bustrain to ram it againts an abnormality)

As for why i call his EGO "Face The Fear" thats mostly because on how i see the bus and the library, X And angela herself, and how you represent them

There EGO being incomplete without the other

Our limBus in project moon canon, like the library is damn huge and big with the only diffrence that it needs power but unlike the library it has a huge Pro on the fact that it can be moved by itself, fitting since X was the one who is allowed to finished the script, moveing the story (and another pro in my au and in canon technically is that unlike angela, X can manipulate on how he wants the train bus to look like, because before the bus has limbus words and motif, it has LCorp motif)

While the library, being a place of knowledge fits the build the future only downside is that like anglea in the script, cant really have the freedom of 'movement'(unless some of course a greater technology its use to move it of course)

Okay back on track to the story, after a while X and Ayin realised that doing this on his lonesome will just not be enough for results, sure he got more info on the SoL now useing his limited tech, but the limits of what he can do....

(Okay this is where i want to introduced Faust but tbh since we dont have enough story of her yet that and her story would start in canto 12 so have an 2 faust theory for this AU)

X made Faust a Homunculus made useing An Rcorp cloning machine that he was born from re purpose to make homunculus, his and angela memories (albiet he make sure that she, like him, is a bit distant from them so she use them as a learning expiriance instead of thinking is her own memories and sin) and image as a based, and X made to be his daughter first and assistant on reserching the distortion second, the white hair and blue eyes are simply inverse colours to his black hair and yellow eyes, while haveing the soothing and calming personality of early cycle angela) later on he ask her

Or the one im gonna use

Faust is a person X found when he was comeing out of the Lcorp ruins who was being attacked by abnos, saving her, when confronted X ask her why she was in such a dangerous place, she responds "I wish to learn everything about the city, the wings, and the distortion phenomena" X playing the role of Mephi in this scenario tell her that he can do that for her at a cost of a road of pain and suffering where she will never die and may never know when said suffering will end

Which of course she accepts

With this X has his first Apprentice, a smart one too

With her help he was able to get more reserch done on the SoL distortion and found out that carmen and the distortion are not one in the same being, but even after that X still need one more thing that he has barely enough info on

Distortion themselfs, with this roadblock X decides to find ways to get more info on them only to get nothing... which kicks in plan B, if you cant find a ditortion specimen..... why not distort yourself?

Which he did, going to the depth of his mind he lament, over the fact he failled, the city, the sephirah, his original self, failing being what angela needs him, and wrath at himself for being so useless, with this highten emotion, he was able to call in carmen to make him distort but was able to stop it half way, like the Reverberation Ensemble it was a stable one, with only his head actually had any effect for appearnce, however for his actually self some problem occurred, one of the very bad one being his memories and personality, now ever single version of him in the corporation(excluding adam, abram, and able) begein to manifest to ruin his mind like the 3A did to ayin before he ejected them, and with how many of them its not lthat long that its affect starts, X becomes more Angry and Unstable but was still able to do work, just crankier, the worst of all after distorting is that.

His conection with ayin is suddenly completly severd, unable to talk to him anymore

but even so after this, he was able to raised enough money to start his own special fixer office

And thus Limbus Company Was born made on the purpose to icaptured escaped Abnos in the city and its main goal to Reach Wing Status to have more power to help change the city and break the cycle once and for all, and help X and the sinners he hired to Face their sins, to Save the EGO from completly dissapeareing

This entire AU is made mostly because of how dante acts like your manager X at times its funny, thag and they have a simmilar story from the start

Heck with the new canto 5 part 2 we now know that Dante also has his own kill switch, to the point it makes me think "does kim read AIP for his insperation for Dante charater" probably not, but hey quite the coincidence

I could go on and on for this AU but im just gonna leave it at that since its like 1 am here

Bonus:

X: so faust who do you think we should hire as our guide while our journey in the city

Faust: Faust say we should pick an Expiriance Fixer who can has been to most part of the city and knows the inner working of the city well*points at paper* we should pick the red gaze as he has the most expiriance

X: the new red colour fixer? Whos his name?

Faust: Virgilius

Dante:*after reading to many books of clasic litrature with recent one being Divine comedy* i think i now know what my name should be now faust

Dear transfer-ribonucleic-acid/breadgun,

First of all, great drawing! I really, really like the facial expressions and the scars; I feel X would definitely have this determined yet somewhat nervous attitude towards the rapid sequences of events that have undoubtedly needed to happen for him to be in such a position. I also really like the suit; it reminds me of Kali's Colour outfit, in a way, and I think it'd make sense, as she's the only Colour he'd know of, so he'd probably attempt to mimic her style in a way to look both fashionable and remain practical. The hair is very fun to look at, and the eyes are very expressive. Overall, great job!

But now, onto the concept itself...I must admit, the idea of this AU makes think of a lot of different possibilities that made it occur in the first place, and I do hope you wouldn't mind me sharing a few of my thoughts on this very, very intriguing AU.

So first of all, X as a Colour. The idea makes me primarily think of how he'd get there in the first place, and I think that it'd be related to the Seed of Light. Part of me thinks that, somehow, X would be dragged out of the Light for one way or another and would wake up in the ruins of the Corporation with the Library getting established without him and him having to crawl back up on his lonesome.

I think that he'd gain some combat abilities with his battles against the various monsters and Ordeals that'd plague the Corporation's ruins at this point, but I think his strongest point would be Ayin himself. After all, we are told that Ayin made it into the Light like Carmen did, even if no one can hear him. It'd make sense that he'd be able to somewhat communicate with X, seeing how they're clone-and-clonee, so their relationship is undoubtedly strong.

From there on, I think Ayin would try drawing out a sort of E.G.O. from X, but since X's main purpose in life (fulfilling the Seed of Light's prerequisites) was gone at this point, I don't think that he'd be able to manifest a complete E.G.O., rather, he'd have one forcefully manifested out of him if he and Ayin focus enough on the matter. Of course, the question of X's E.G.O. remains, though I think I have an idea for what type of E.G.O. would fit him perfectly:

Regeneration.

After all, X's whole deal in the Corporation was his unwavering determination and his undying efforts to continue regardless of how many times he fell down before, no? It'd make sense if his E.G.O. was based on constantly regenerating his body in order for him to keep pressing on with his new goals. But of course, as X's E.G.O. was incomplete when it was manifested, the drawback would be that X had to intentionally focus on damaging any hurt part in his body and endure the pain of the regeneration in case the nerves are exposed to air as they're healing and such, which makes it so that X has to be determined all the time about his new goal lest he lose the ability to heal himself in the first place and die on the battlefield.

Still, despite these drawbacks, I feel X would be nigh-unstoppable on the battlefield because his enemies wouldn't know why this scrawny and thin man just tanked a sword to the neck and managed to stab them back in a fraction of a second. I think, with perhaps some TT2 technology that he'd loot from the Corporation, he'd be able to rise through the ranks pretty quickly before the Hana would eventually grant him a title...

As for Angelica's involvement in this AU, I think that'd be absolutely adorable if she managed to survive the Pianist's attack somehow, perhaps thanks to Argalia being close by, though the shock might've made her go into early labour, so I think in this AU, Roland and Angelica would have their baby but they'd probably lose their home and would be forced to stay at Argalia's place, which can be a source of fluff as Argalia leans into being an uncle while also being a great source of hilarity because, come on. It's Argalia and Roland under one roof.

I think it would be quite cool if Ayin is essentially X's eyes in the sky while X is Ayin's striking hand and that Ayin would direct X to try and gain Roland and Argalia's support to hunt and destroy Distortions under the premise of "We need to prevent anything like the Pianist from harming people like Angelica ever again" and they'd maybe choose a name like The Three Colours or maybe even Distortion Destroyers because Distortion Detectives was already trademarked by Moses. It would be pretty funny to see such a trio with both Argalia and Roland suspicious of a Colour that rose so quickly while also swearing they saw his face once in a newspaper or something without remembering who he was.

And we could say that X's present scars in the drawing remain because he acquired them during his escape form the Corporation's collapsed form before Ayin dragged his E.G.O. out and so he couldn't heal them as well.

But that's my opinion on this AU, which honestly sounds quite fascinating and looks filled to the brim with fun ideas, however, I didn't ask for YOUR proper view on it, so let me ask you:
