A/N: everything I write is extremely self indulgent but this is MAJORLY so, like Jesus christ can you tell I've been attached to him since I was 6?

"Do you think we're together in every universe, Raph?" You mumble softly, your head resting on his shoulder while he breathes deeply, focused on the bike parts in his hand. 

It's a slow day, everyone really doing their own things in their own little parts of the sewers. Mikey and Donnie are working, Leonardo is meditating with Splinter and April and Casey are wedding planning, occasionally sending messages in the family group chat.

He's not really doing anything much with the parts, long past the point of actually trying to fix it, mostly turning them around in his hand. His senses are more attuned to you than anything.

Raph feels your hair brush against him. He fights back a shiver that tries to go through his entire body. He revels in the warmth your body provides, basking it in while he turns his body more so towards you. He snorts softly at your noise of contempt, rolling his eyes as a small smile appears.

"What's with the corny ass question?" God forbid he ever speaks without being a little bit of a dick, but it's part of his charm.

"Ugh, do you think so or not?" You grumble, lifting a fist up to lightly hit him on his shoulder, readjusting yourself to look directly into his eyes.

One of his hands immediately comes to wrap around your waist, sliding your body upwards to comfortably sit on his lap while his other hand none too gently tosses the parts onto the wheel caddy. Resting more of his weight against the weathered down tattered chair, he uses a foot to gently swing it into gentle circles.

Lifting one hand up, he pushes your head back onto his shoulder, resting his head on yours, and hums with content. You can't help but exhale softly, eyes shutting as you brush your fingers against his plastron, gently rubbing the nicks and scratches all over it.

"We are sugar, no doubt about it." With a soft kiss to your temple, he feels your breath even out against his chest and pulls you in just a bit closer. You've always joked that he wants to crawl into your skin, he has no comment.

If you can hear the churring coming out, you make no mention of it.

The bike can wait.

"Raph! I got some extra stuff for Spike. Can I feed him?" You run into the lair excitedly, footsteps loud as you change directions to get to him fast. As you rush to the dinner table, Raphael sits quietly.

Reading a comic that Leonardo left lying around despite him claiming that it was for 'nerds'. Raph never would admit that he's enjoying it, but he's already halfway through before he knows it.

His head shoots up and he lets out a little snort at seeing you bouncing on your heels, your eyes have a twinkle in them while you shake your dominant hand with some fresh greens for the tiny turtle. You're cute standing there, slightly out of breath, even with the sweat on your forehead beading down.

He's never been one to deny you, not of much anyway. It wasn't a secret that he'd let you get away with more than he'd ever let his brothers. He'd let you cling to him at any point but shove Mikey away at the same time, not caring if it got him teasing. (It was worth it to have any contact with you)

"Mmmm, guess so, since you're so excited about it and all." He shrugs with a single shoulder, trying not to show how excited he was.

You were so sweet to him, for no particular reason, and you loved Spike just like he did. He couldn't help but feel his heart clench. He can feel his cheeks warming, bringing a bandaged hand up to rub at it, trying desperately to will it away. 

"Yes! Come on, let's go! I did research and everything to be extra sure that they are safe for him to eat." Grabbing his hand, you're trying to pull him out of his seat with all your might (he finds it funny to watch you struggle). He lifts himself up slowly, enjoying the contact he lets you drag him to his room and to Spike's enclosure.

He's a little embarrassed at the state of his room, almost wanting to drop your hand so he can clean the mess until he realizes you couldn't care less.

You're still holding his hand tightly when you both sit down at the table that Spike's cage sits on. You pause for a second, hesitantly dropping his bigger hand in favor of reaching down and gently scooping Spike up, bringing him up to your face so you can leave a peck on his little head.

"Hi, baby! How are you?" You coo, gently petting the turtle's shell.

Spike basks in your attention, his little eyes staring at his owner with a smug little face, just screaming, "You wish this were you, huh?"

Raphael just rolls his eyes, and under his breath, he grumbles but nonetheless moves to grab the bag of greens, ripping it open.  Spike's lucky that Raphael loves both of you enough to share.

"Raph, is this really necessary?"

Up and down, up and down. His grip on your legs is starting to hurt. You wouldn't be surprised if you get impressions of his fingers in your skin, complete with the scales as well.

"Yea, now keep countin' for me." He grumbles, readjusting his grip on your body to make it more comfortable for you.

Back through the motions, it seems like you're not getting down anytime soon.

You groan as your hair swishes back and forth with your movement. No doubt, hair becoming undone and seemingly looking like a mess.

What's the said movement from? It's from Raphael using you as a barbell, his shell resting on the bench, he's been at it for the last hour and there's no end in sight.

Leo had tried to come 'save' you about an hour ago but Raph growled at him, so he just threw his hands up and walked off shooting you a look that screamed oh well, I tried.

It wasn't uncommon to see Raphael use you in his workout routines, whether it be lifting you up above him, teaching you how to defend yourself, or just using you as a weight. It was his way of spending time with you, but he'd always scoff and say otherwise. His favorite things in the world consisted of you and his workouts, can you blame a guy for wanting both at the same time?

Up and down, up and down, continuously. Alright, this is getting a bit old.

"Raph, babe, we hit 100, Can we please~" You drag the e out. "Take a break so we can eat?" The whine is apparent in your tone, finally wanting to get off this ride.

His arms get weak for a second, despite a year of dating at this point, he still gets weak when you refer to him with any pet name. He never hears the end of it.

"Who's we? Sounds like you're the one hungry. What's in it for me?" Raph teases after he regains his small loss of composure. He gently brings you down to rest on his chest, letting you move to wherever you see fit while he crosses his arms behind his head.

Raph finds it cute when you shift yourself around, moving to where you're sitting on his waist and using your arms to try and cage him in like he isn't massive and dwarves you in every way shape, and form.

I'll give you kisses if you help me make something~" You coo down at the big turtle, gently brushing your nose against his.

"Alright princess, you drive a hard bargain, let's go." He picks himself up, maneuvering you to be slung over his shoulder as he pats your thigh.

"Raph! Put me down!"

"Mmmm, nah, don't think so shortstack."

Raph's nerves are through the roof, he's never been truly apart from his brothers but now he's in high school and his schedule shows that he won't see Leo, Donnie, or Mikey until lunch and he tries his best to not freak the fuck out. Yes, he saved the world, yes he's arguably the most dangerous of the four, yes he has anger issues but he's still just 15 years old for fucks sake. 

He doesn't know the first thing about making friends, not like Mikey does. Donnie likes his geeky stuff, no doubt finding the anime or K-pop club already and joining, Leo is most definitely following April around so at least he's not alone, having her by his side.

His first period is history, a subject he definitely isn't confident in but he should get it out of the way first. He just has to make it to lunch, just until then.

Raph sighs through his mouth and rolls his shoulders, hyping himself up as he walks on and glances around the room, looking for an empty seat.

It's harder than it looks, with everyone already having their established friend groups and seats already filled in. Nervously, he makes his way to the back rows of desks, spotting a single empty one, and rushes to sit down, dropping his backpack on the floor.

He stares down at his desk, nerves fully engulfing him now as he waits for the bell to ring. Maybe high school was a bad idea? Maybe Sensei had the right idea to keep them underground. He should ask to stay home actually.

Movement out of the corner of his eye and oh. Oh.

There's a girl, staring at him as he mentally combusts. Great, she's pretty too and wow this is getting so much worse.

Raph feels his heart beat faster and faster, looking at her and taking in her features, shamelessly staring back.

 His hands shift in his hoodie pockets cracking his knuckles and making quiet pops. Should he say something? Pay her a compliment? Fuc-

"Hey, you're Raphael right?" She greets him with a quirk on her lips, reaching out her hand in a small fist. A fist bump, he can do that, this is fine.

He finds it in himself to smile back, lifting his own and gently knocking it against hers.

"Yeah, you can call me Raph, what's your name?" He sees your eyes light up, a prettier smile on your face now. You turn your entire body towards his own, uncaring that the bell has finally rung, class starting at any moment.

"I'm [name]! I gotta ask, who's your favorite artist?"

"Is that a joke about my name…?"

"I meant as bands but hey, that works too."

"Oh, in that case, it's for SURE Drake!

The first period wouldn't be that bad anymore, if you happily showing him you Spotify account was anything to go by.

One reason Karai ("bad girl") turned out better than April ("good girl") in TMNT 2012 CGI version was

• "Bad girl" Karai had spunk and stood up for herself and was opinionated and initiative. Had more depth and motivation.

Edit: The thing that made her "bad girl" (and that happens in real life) was that she was defiant and went for anything she desired without asking permission or authority. Definitely. Patriarchy-defiant, probably. And devs of 2012 TMNT really noticed this in 2003 TMNT Karai. And besides the patriarchal demand of female behavior and repression, the devs really liked and invested into her more. She was a person, as a result.

• While the "good girl" TMNT 2012 April turned out as a distorted image of a patriarchal idea for what a "good girl" is supposed to be like. A luckluster puppet of the system's ideology for what it is supposed to be or even look like. (Brother Grim pleased the patriarchal system and made their females into harmless, housewife, helpless personnel who were singing happily while getting exploited with housework. Those men didn't care for those portrayal of the 'proper good characters' rather than forcing gendered behaviors into their sexist fairy tales. For example. Female characters and stories suffered as we never really knew about them. They were cutboard cutout.)

Short Story by Me! :D

Tmnt 2012 and My Oc

It was a quiet Day, after the sudden Guests The Turtles and Their Master Splinter had encountered. A Girl Calming that She had been thrown from Her universe into theirs.

 

     A little wary but Splinter, allowed her to stay wanting to then work on finding a way to return, Seeing how badly Homesick she was.

   The Girl would be Gemma Rossi, it's very obscure, being in such a different universe, and just after She was getting used to living in New York!

  Back to Present Time, Gemma had made her way from Donnie's lab leaving Donnie's Bo Staff from Gemma's universe. He wanted to scan it hopefully to pick up on particles that could connect to Gemma's universe, also curious about his counterpart. See that The Bo Staff wasn't modified in any way, just having two separate Purple Hand Girp Tape.

   Back to Gemma, she walked towards the kitchen area while Painter her Comfort Companion Eastern Box Turtle resting on top of her head something He's done since he was little.

  Going to the Kitchen area, Gemma took notice of Raph grabbing a plate, and getting some lettce for his Tortoise Spike who was eagerly waiting for his food looking up at Raph feeling a shift in the room and slowly turned seeing Gemma tilting his head in confusion who the newcomer was. Watching Her as she gently placed Painter on The Table, then digging into her bag receiving a container and a Hankerchief.

Gently stretching out the Hankerchief on the table, Painter raising his head up excited for his meal.

   Spike watched curiously, he didn't realize the mystery Human had a Turtle companion with her.

  Raph finally had snapped out of his thoughts, annoyed with Mikey about something he did. Looking over at Spike noticing something had his attention, following where he was looking Noticing Gemma as she was placing down Strawberrys, Blueberryies, Watermelon and even some Kiwi!

 

    Painter starting munching down on the fruits, His tail Waging happily. Finally something that was normal, the poor Box Turtle was stressing about being in a oddly Familiar place but different in a way.

    Raph took notice of this, looked at Spike who started slowly munching on The Lettce Sure He was happy with it but He was quietly eyeing Painter's food. Curious on the fruits he was joyfully eating.

  "You feed uh.. " Raph started not knowing Gemma's Turtles name, "Painter" Gemma, responded with a small smile, it was interesting that this universe Raph had a Pet Tortoise. "Painter fruit?" He asked.

  "Yeah! He absolutely loves Fruit especially Watermelon and Kiwi," She answered, while taking a seat in one of the chairs at the table.

   Raph Fallowed Suit, sitting next to Spike, "Huh.. I wonder if Spike would like Fruit I usually just give him lettce," He admitted, giving Spike a gentle pat on the shell.

  With hearing this Painter acted before, Gemma could even speak and grabbed a mouthful of Blueberryies and walked up to Spike's Plate and dropped them down with giving Spike a small smile before going back to His small Picnic.

  Gemma was still as she was holding, the container of fruit about to Ask if she could give some to Spike until Painter did what he just did.

 

   "Oh wow! Painter usually not this giving when to comes to Food," She spoke, smiling wide. As Spike started to eat the Blueberryies eyes wide.

 

  "Wait Really?" Raph said, and looked over at Spike, happy to see Spike Happily eaten all the Blueberryies given as Painter walked back with Some Watermelon too.

   Painter looked up Happy to make a new Friend, Spike smiled at Painter then proceeded to pat Painter head with his chin as a Thank you.

Both Gemma and Raph Awed in unison.     

     Before Raph looked little Embarrassed. To have someone seen the soft side of himself.

  Gemma just smiled, She remembered when Raph from Her universe was embarrassment too when He first had shown his soft side. Though the two had gotten a close to the Point Raph would vent to Gemma about things that bothered him while she would be the one to listen.

    Gemma then frowned worried for her friends, she hoped they weren't stressing about the sudden Disappearce.

   Raph was watching Spike and Painter.    

     Spike most likely seeing Painter as his little brother now. As the Two were quietly chatting.

  Looking over at Gemma he noticed the frown on her face while deep in thought about something.

  "You.. okay?" He asked, Gemma snapped out of her thoughts Looking back at Raphael. "Yeah... Just a little Homesick y'know.. I also Hope everyone back there aren't Stressing," Gemma answered, before petting Painter's shell.

  "I'm really glad Painter's still with me He's a really good listener," She spoke, Grateful if Painter wasn't with her. Gemma's would been panicking still.

  "Hm.. I can understand that I tell Spike a lot of things stuff in my Mind I don't know what I would do without him," Raph said, as Spike and Painter looked at Raph and Gemma giving looks of 'we are here for you'

    Raph cleared his throat before speaking again, "Anyways.. I bet the Donnie you know probably has a Plan to Find you and get You and Painter back home," He said, in hopes to reassure Her Gemma smiled a little.

"Thanks.. You're Right! I'll probably be home soon," She said.

Raph gave a look around to find a lighter subject to talk about. Then noticing the Hankerchief that Painter was eating his Fruit on it had a light green padern with Apples on it.

"So uh.. where you get the Hankerchief for Painter?" He asked, Gemma smiled bright remembering a fond memory connected to the Hankerchief and Painter.

"I got from the Farmers Market in my Hometown in Maine!" She said, happily then digged into her bag. "I actually have a few more if you want one for Spike!" Gemma said, willing the share.

"Oh! Here!" Gem said, taking out a nice Red Hankerchief hanging it to Raph.

"Wah- no I couldn't," He started, Gem shook her head "No I insist!" She answered.

Raph took it "Well ..Thank you," He said, with a small smile.

"Of course!" Gemma answered, the two turned to look at Spike and Painter to find the too napping. "Aww it's seems their content," She said, as He agreed.

Mewhile the two unnoticed, that Leo and Donnie where watching from the entrance of the kitchen. Surprised on how Gemma and Raph got along so well. Though the silence was interrupted by a certain Nunchuck wielder.

"Hey guys guess what!" He spoke, making the Four Jump, Mikey smile wide about something Funny that happened then His eyes looked over to see Gemma and Raphael sitting at the table looking at the Three.

Uh oh

Both Leo and Donnie thought

"Yo! Are Spike and Gemma's Turtle having a Playdate!? That's so cute!! Let get Iceream Kitty!!" Michaelangelo said, excitedly running over to the Freezer opening it as Iceream Kitty Meowed Happily to see him.

"Oh my goodness!! You Cat actually made out of Ice Cream??" Gemma said, awing mewhile Raph was glaring at Leo and Donnie. While Mikey and Gemma got in a conversation about Ice Cream kitty.

"So .. you think it's okay to spy on our Conversation!?" Raph spoke, getting up from the table, While Leo and Donnie backed.

"It wasn't on purpose we just didn't want to interrupt!" Leo said, with his hands in defense as Donnie nodded in agreement.

"I don't believe you!" Raph said, angrily chasing after the two.

While Mikey and Gemma watched as they blinked in unison, before going back to conversation.

Wow! I did it! So uh sorry if it was Ooc, I might write more like this :> maybe something of Gemma hanging out with the rest of the Turtle Bros :D

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem amplifies the fun of the franchise - REVIEW

*Slight Spoilers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem*

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been a franchise that has consistently been rebooted and I have never minded.

While the 2003 series was my initial Turtles introduction, the 2012 series really made me a fan. It had the right balance for me of brotherly affection, drama, stakes, and weird obscure villains.

While Rise of the TMNT wasn't exactly my taste, I can appreciate the animation, comedy, and going for a different new take. Plus my god is the Rise of TMNT movie good. I'm all for making really cool characters into animes now.

Going into this movie I had extremely high hopes. Not only has this franchise rarely disappointed, but it was produced by Seth Rogen, who has worked on shows like The Boys and Invincible, and directed by Jeff Rowe, who is not getting NEARLY enough credit for this movie. He was a writer on Gravity Falls and the co-director of one of my favorite animated movies: The Mitchells vs The Machines.

And I got to say, this movie does not disappoint.

The animation style is both impressive and at times disgusting in the best possible way. This is the first time I've felt New York feel grubby and grimy. Every shot looks wonderful, and that cannot be understated.

The hardest part of the Turtles is usually the brother dynamics. I feel like if not written or performed correctly, the Turtles can come off as buddies or even acquaintances. But this was not a problem here. The idea of having all four actors in the same room clearly paid off, as the four of them riffing and mocking each other were some of the highlights of the movie.

I do think coming out of this, some of these turtles will be the definitive versions of the characters. While Mikey and Raph have their charms, Micah Abbey as Donnie and Nicolas Cantu as Leo were stands out for me.

The idea of taking Donnie from the tech guy to more of a calculating nerdy weeb was genius. Donnie often is the guy who is most made fun of because he is nerd, and I think pivoting to him being a smart-ass and respected for his brain was a nice touch.

Leonardo as the goody two shoes dork who wants to lead so bad also worked for me. Leonardo can sometimes come off a sorta bully or arrogant for even trying to be the leader. Making him unsure but wanting to be a good leader makes him charming and more likeable.

Also among our heroes are Ayo Edebiri as April O'Neil and Jackie Chan as Master Splinter.

While April does not have as much to do as I would've liked, I think Edebiri is a nice addition and I'd be happy to see more of her. She has good chemistry with the brothers, although it did take me out of the movie to think of the age gap between Edebiri and Cantu.

Jackie Chan's Splinter may be my biggest problem with the film. While he is a passable Splinter and has plenty of laughs, he does not seem as fierce of a warrior as he has seemed in the past, nor as wise. I do not mind a flawed, anxiety ridden Splinter, but he should feel like he can take on the Turtles easily, and I don't think he can.

(Also, Jackie Chan is a bad father in real life and shouldn't disown his estranged daughter for being gay. Read all about it here!)

I'm not going to go to into the details of all the villains in the movie, as there are quite a few, but I really loved the inclusion of the vast TMNT universe, and their own fun takes on them. One of the benefits of having Seth Rogen as a creative is access to all his very talented friends. A highlight for me was Mondo Gecko, voiced by the great Paul Rudd.

The main antagonist of the film being Superfly was a rather interesting choice. While I was sure we were going to have a Jekyll and Hyde situation with Superfly and Stockman going in, the idea that it was his mutant son was a weird but fun choice. Clearly Ice Cube was having a lot of fun playing a villain. He gave me quite a few laughs and felt like a proper first villain for these turtles. I'm glad they didn't just jump into Shredder or Kraang.

While all the characters are fun and interesting, what I really love about this story is the central theme of acceptance. Having them all have the goal of being accepted by society felt natural, important, and very teen drama, which is fresh to the TMNT. They are often outsiders who don't really care about that, just protecting the city. Making that at the heart of the movie made me feel for them in a way I haven't before.

Leaving the movie where it does excites me for more movies and the upcoming show they have planned. I think this version of the turtles can last us a good 5-7 years, and will end up being as iconic as the ones that came before.

Not that there is a super high bar for TMNT films, but this is definitely my favorite. I think kids are going to love, TMNT fans are going to love it, and non TMNT fans are going to be pleasantly surprised.

I highly recommend you go see this movie, I know I am definitely going again soon.

Hey there! I want to give a request for Raphael, Leonardo, Donnatello and Michaelangelo who have S/O who isn't usually expressive and always so stoic that you might even think they are a robot but then they did something really silly and that's when they heard their s/o laughing for the first time.

TMNT boys Reaction to stoic s/o laughing in front of them for the first time.

Leo:

Leo had always admired his significant other's calm and collected demeanor. They were always so stoic, rarely showing any emotion, which sometimes made Leo wonder if they were even capable of feeling anything at all. But deep down, he knew there was more to them than meets the eye.

One day, while Leo was training in the dojo, his S/O came in to watch. As Leo practiced his moves, he couldn't help but steal glances at them, hoping for some sort of reaction. But as usual, they remained expressionless, their eyes fixed on him with unwavering focus.

But then, out of nowhere, Leo slipped on a training mat and fell flat on his shell. And to his surprise, he heard a sound he never thought he'd hear from his S/O - laughter. It was soft and gentle, but it was genuine.

Leo looked up in shock, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment. His S/O quickly composed themselves, trying to hide their amusement behind a neutral facade. But Leo couldn't help but smile, feeling a warmth in his heart at the sound of their laughter.

From that day on, Leo made it his mission to bring out more of his S/O's hidden emotions. He would do silly things, tell bad jokes, and even watch cheesy shows with them, all in the hopes of hearing that beautiful sound of laughter once again. And as they shared more lighthearted moments together, Leo knew that their relationship was stronger than ever.

Raph:

Raphael had always known that his significant other was not the most expressive person. They were always so stoic and serious, rarely showing any emotion. It sometimes made him wonder if they were even capable of laughing or smiling. But he loved them nonetheless, appreciating their calm and composed nature that balanced out his own fiery personality.

One day, Raph decided to do something completely out of character for him. He put on a silly hat, danced around the lair, and made ridiculous faces just to see if he could get a reaction out of his s/o. At first, they just raised an eyebrow at his antics, not showing any sign of amusement. But then, something unexpected happened.

As Raph continued to act like a complete goofball, his s/o's lips twitched ever so slightly. And then, to his utter surprise, they let out a small chuckle. It was the first time he had ever heard them laugh, and it was like music to his ears. Raph couldn't help but grin from ear to ear, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment at finally breaking through their stoic facade.

From that day on, Raph made it his mission to bring more laughter and joy into their relationship. He loved seeing his s/o's rare smiles and chuckles, knowing that he was the reason behind them. And as they both shared more lighthearted moments together, their bond only grew stronger, proving that even the most serious of souls could find happiness in the silliest of moments.

Donnie:

Donnie had always been fascinated by his S/O's stoic nature. They rarely showed their emotions, always maintaining a calm and collected facade. It was something that both intrigued and puzzled him. He often found himself wondering what was going on in their mind, behind that unreadable expression.

One day, while working on a new invention in his lab, Donnie got a little too excited and accidentally banged his head against the door, causing him to fall to the floor in a heap. His S/O, who had been quietly observing him from the corner, suddenly burst out laughing. It was the first time Donnie had ever heard them laugh, and it was a beautiful sound to his ears.

As he rubbed his sore head, Donnie couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation. His S/O's laughter was contagious, and soon they were both laughing together, the tension and seriousness of the moment melting away.

From that day on, Donnie noticed a change in his S/O. They seemed more relaxed around him, more willing to let their guard down and show their true self. Mikey had always been the most outgoing and expressive of the ninja turtles, so when he found himself in a relationship with someone who was the complete opposite, he was determined to crack their tough exterior. His significant other was always so stoic and reserved, never showing much emotion, which sometimes made Mikey wonder if they were even capable of laughing.

One day, Mikey decided to put his silly antics to the test. He set up an elaborate prank involving a rubber chicken and a whoopee cushion, hoping to finally see a smile on his s/o's face. As his plan unfolded, he watched with bated breath as his s/o's expression shifted from confusion to amusement.

And then, it happened. A small chuckle escaped from his s/o's lips, followed by a full-blown laughter that filled the room. Mikey's heart swelled with joy as he realized that he had finally broken through their tough exterior.

From that day on, Mikey made it his mission to bring laughter and joy to his s/o's life. He would come up with the silliest jokes and pranks just to see that beautiful smile on their face. And every time his s/o laughed, it was like music to his ears.

Mikey may have been the wild one of the group, but when it came to his s/o, he was the most caring and thoughtful partner anyone could ask for. And seeing his s/o finally open up and show their true emotions was a reward that he cherished more than anything else.
