Danny knew that this job was too good to be either true or not illegal.

So he was only a little ashamed with himself as he stands between Batman and one Mr. Freeze.

He knew why he was hired, the look Victor gave him when they did the first interview was enough for Danny to know that the mad scientist knew a little too much about his powers.

He had wanted to just say fuck it and dip, but then Victor told Danny about Nora...and we'll if that didn't get him on the man's side then the fat wad of cash was the real closer.

(He was a poor law school student with more debt than even Sam's credit card was allowed to clear, how can he say no to 1k an hour?)

One thing lead to another, and it seemed that Danny was a willing accomplice to Freezes plan

Which might now include tearing a hole in dimensions to get to the Far Frozen because a certain yeti doctor knows a fuck ton about the disease that Nora is suffering from.

Now if only Batman would stay down long enough for Danny to explain all of this...

Stanley Pines is dying.

A good samaritan on the street found his unconscious body and decided to call an ambulance for him. Stan doesn’t remember everything that happened. He just knows that a few days and a multitude of tests later, he was unceremoniously diagnosed with a terminal illness in a random hospital in the middle of Oklahoma. Emphasis on terminal. The doctors tell him that without treatment, he has maybe two weeks to live.

Stan can’t afford treatment, nor the hospital bill he’s sure to be slapped with from his current stay. He sneaks out during the night shift and disappears. It’s one more debt added to the list but it’s not like it’s going to matter once he’s dead anyway. He finds the last place he left his car and spends the rest of the night awake in the backseat, wondering what he should do.

In the end, the conclusion is obvious: he wants to see his family. To say his final goodbyes to them in person. However, this brings a new dilemma. Stan’s family are all in different places. His parents in New Jersey, Shermie in California, and Stanford in Oregon. Stan, currently in Oklahoma, is stuck in the middle and with a decision to make.

He can’t visit them all. As much as he’d like to, Stan has neither the money, the gas, or the time to do so. He’d probably die before he could see all of them. He only has enough energy and resources to make it to one of them; he’ll have to be content with phone calls to the others to say his goodbyes.

When the morning comes, Stan gets into the driver’s seat and starts the engine of the car. He sits there for a moment, just breathing deeply. He has to pick a family member to see in person before he dies, and he doesn’t have a lot time, so he has to choose quickly.

It was never really a question.

He chooses Ford.

AKA a terminally ill Stanley makes his way up to Gravity Falls, Oregon to reunite with his brother. He wants to say his goodbyes and apologies in person before he dies. He’s not happy about dying, but he doesn’t think he has much to live for anyway, so he accepts it. He just wants to make things right between himself and Ford before it happens so he can go without regrets.

Stanford is not expecting his estranged twin to randomly show up looking like he’s literally on death’s door. Nor is he approving of Stanley’s plan to seemingly just lay down and die. Good thing Stan came to him. Now he’s given Ford a chance to do something about it.

All current research and projects get shoved aside as Ford focuses everything he has on a new, single task: take care of Stanley and save his life.

john locke is such an absolute nutjob and im obsessed with him. imagine having the world's most horrendous daddy issues and chosing to cope with this by forcibly adopting everyone you meet. even if they already have a father. john saw micheal's dysfunctional relationship with walt and went "okay, my son now." charlie's struggling with addiction? adoption time. oh claire's mad at him? i am her dad now and also im raising aaron. boone? my son. this random hitchhiker? my son. dude is collecting surrogate children like pokemon, and he's not even a good father figure. he frequently causes problems for the people in question. ben probably could've manipulated him twice as effectively if he used this strategy, but instead he was too busy projecting his own daddy issues by trying to make john kill his abusive dad like he did. meanwhile john is reliving the cycle getting conned by ben over and over again just like he trusted his father. they're competing in the daddy issues olympics and no one is winning

yknowwww there is something... deeply uncomfortable about the way mel never speaks directly to viktor in the 'build hextech weapons' scene. she really only speaks to jayce. plenty of people have pointed this out already but like the one scene they actually share a meaningful interaction and she treats him like he's beneath her. all this after jayce has emphasized how important viktor is, that hextech is theirs, together. she unequivocally ices him out, there's no other way to interpret this scene. the way it's shot too - from viktor's perspective, looking up at her, as though to reinforce the same belief in him. like he doesn't even bother expecting respect from her - or anyone from the upper echelon of piltover. he's fully accustomed to being dehumanized by everyone around him at this point. sometimes even by jayce, despite the trust they clearly have in each other.

then of course after this scene is viktor experimenting on himself. it's pretty clear that he has internalized his own dehumanization. crazy.

i know people hc remmick haunting sammie even after he's dead and it's so southern gothic catholic guilt i love it . hear me out though what if it's still remmick haunting sammie but it's remmick before the vampirism. sammie feels so much about it because he's seeing sides of remmick that were so vulnerable and sammie feels like he shouldn't be seeing them at all. sammie learning things about remmicks past before and after the colonialism. the guilt eats away at sammie, he thought remmick had always been cold hearted. and sammie feels for remmick even more, when he knows he shouldn't. sammie would have told the twins about it ,they would have giggled at him being down bad or some foolishness. it never does gets easier missing his cousins. now when remmicks ghost appears before sammie he is still startled, even if its remmick beckoning him into his arms. pressing kisses to his neck, begging sammie to never let him go. every night he hopes remmick cant feel his heartbeat. what sammie can never seem to notice is remmick just as flustered, holding him so tender. remmick holds sammie tight through dawn until the morning and hes okay with it. prying remmicks arms off gently when he has to get up. soon enough the company started to remind sammie of home, warm, gentle feeling like the young lovers that come to his shows. sammie hopes it heals something deep in remmick . and oh my god the way remmick feels about it!! he loves to hug sammie from behind when he's making food or standing on the side of the stage, looking so longingly at sammie. never hearing a voice as beautiful and full of emotion. fighting the urge to float his way into sammies arm mid performance and kiss him right there. remmick had never felt so in love with someone, and he never would after sammie. even when his ghost is still on earth his heart will cry out for sammie. when sammie holds him it feels like everything he's endured was worth it for those sweet moments. when sammie spins records he can't stop himself from looking right into sammies eyes, feeling every note of a sweet song just for him. saying sweet nothings in his language and sammie secretly wishing it was about him. they were comfortable and sammie wouldn't know what he'd call it but it was definitely deep in his heart, remmick could feel it too. everyday he felt it and it never had to be said, remmick always whispered i love yous in sammies ear when he was asleep. and sammie hoped remmick knew every love song he performed was for him.
