Machine translations return the sentence about Russa as being "nice" but "strange and angry as she doesn't understand", or "strange and irritating because she does not understand". It also seems that the "real cretin" was Anastasia jokingly criticising herself for almost being rude.

Unfortunately, I cannot say for certain who 'Russa' is. However, I am certain that it was not Anna Stepanova Demidova. Anna went ahead with Maria, Nicholas, and Alexandra to Ekaterinburg, so Anastasia could not have been writing about her in Tobolsk.

From the testimony of Pierre Gilliard for the Sokolov Investigation (original French spellings of Russian surnames):

At this time the following persons departed from Tobolsk : The emperor and empress. Grand Duchess Maria Nicholaevna, Botkin, Dolgoruky, Tchemodouroff, Sedneff and Demidova. They were accompanied by six Rifles men and two officers—Matveieff and Nabokoff, as well as by soldiers of Iakovleff's detachment.

We do know that Anna Stepanovna Demidova was called 'Freylina' by the Bolshevik guards, and 'Nyuta' by the Romanov family. From Maria, writing from Ipatiev House in May 1918:

...Yesterday an extraordinary event happened: Nyuta and I washed Mama’s hair. Everything went well and her hair was not tangled, but I don’t know what is going to happen today and everything for sure is going to come undone… 

Maria also describes playing card games with Anna in Ekaterinburg and her reading letters from the family.

Anna Demidova seems to have had a devoted relationship with the family, including the children. In his testimony for the Sokolov Investigation, Gibbes recalled that Olga, Maria, and Anastasia would sometimes go to Demidova's bedroom in Tobolsk to relax with the female entourage, where they shared "plenty of jokes and laughter."

Unfortunately, the other main sources about her personality come from Greg King and Penny Wilson's book The Fate of the Romanovs, which is plagued by a lack of referencing. They claim that Charles Sydney Gibbes, the children's English tutor, recalled Anna as "a woman of a singularly timid and shrinking disposition." King and Wilson claimed that Anna was in love with Gibbes, but the affection was not returned as Gibbes was gay - but not a single reference is provided for either claim. Neither is a readily available reference provided for Gibbes' quote about Anna being "timid".

Similarly, Christine Benagh states that when leaving for Ekaterinburg, Anna "confided to him, “I am so frightened of the Bolsheviks, Mr. Gibbes. I don’t know what they might do to us.”" Once again, not a single reference is provided.

More than 125,000 people have been displaced by flooding in Russia's southern Ural region and northern Kazakhstan, authorities said on Monday.

Swiftly melting snow swelled several rivers in the region last week, including the Ural, Europe's third-largest river, with authorities saying that water levels had risen by meters in a matter of hours to the highest levels ever recorded.

Authorities said floodwaters continue to rise, posing further threats.

Power and water supply interrupted

Some 1,000 homes were flooded in the North Kazakhstan region, and over 5,000 people had been evacuated, local officials said. There have been interruptions in power and water supply in region.

People were queuing up in front of water trucks moving from one neighbourhood to another in the badly affected city of Petropavlovsk in North Kazakhstan. The main reservoir supplying the city with drinkable water has been flooded.

Just a few hundred kilometres over the border, Russia's Kurgan, a region of 800,000 people at the confluence of the Ural mountains and Siberia, was grappling with flooding and rising water levels in the Tobol River.

"The city of Kurgan itself will be next," Shumkov said. "The flow of the Tobol is accelerating. The water level in it is constantly rising." Shumkov highlighted that "the city of Kurgan itself will be next."

Un repentino deshielo masivo y torrenciales lluvias siguen causando grandes inundaciones y forzando a miles de personas a abandonar sus hogares en las regiones fronterizas entre Rusia y Kazajistán. Este martes 9 de abril, las autoridades ordenaron la evacuación de diversos barrios de Orsk, la segunda ciudad más grande de la región de Oremburgo, en Rusia, al sur de los montes Urales, tras una nueva subida en el nivel del agua en el río Ural. Las nuevas medidas llegan luego de que el pasado viernes 5 de abril el crecimiento del río Ural, el tercero más largo de Europa, que nace en Rusia, y también fluye a través de Kazajistán hacia el Caspio, causara la rotura de una presa. Situación que desencadenó las peores inundaciones en 80 años y llevó a las autoridades de Oremburgo a declarar el estado de emergencia. Más de 10,000 viviendas quedaron inundadas, la mayoría en la localidad de Orsk, una ciudad de casi 200,000 habitantes. Pero las afectaciones del temporal y el diluvio de agua derretida se extienden a lo largo de las regiones fronterizas entre Rusia y Kazajistán, los dos países reportan la evacuación de al menos 100,000 personas hasta el momento. El fenómeno ha arrasado decenas de asentamientos en los Montes Urales, Siberia y zonas de Kazajistán cercanas a los ríos Ural y Tobol, que, según funcionarios locales, habían aumentado varios metros en cuestión de horas hasta alcanzar los niveles más altos jamás registrados. Moscú destaca que ante la emergencia, el mandatario ruso Vladimir Putin ha estado en contacto con el presidente Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, de Kazajistán, donde más de 86,000 personas han sido evacuadas debido a las inundaciones. Las manifestaciones se llevaron a cabo en la ciudad de Orsk, una de las más golpeadas tras el colapso de la presa.
